1041  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BDOGE] BULLDOGE - POS - DOGESTYLE REWARDS - 100% DOGECOIN PRE-SALE on: June 06, 2021, 11:46:11 PM
^Indeed there's nothing good that would come when they caught using fake photos of the teams profiles and the project itself would be dead soon or later due to lots of flags was given by the community. Asking this matter to them directly is useless and I never heard any scammer would admit it in the first place.

The thing is are they proven to use fake photos? I think it's not a good habit to bring such kind of discussion without any pieces of evidence (or just speculating).

Btw, I'm not affiliated with them, I've tried a short search through some search images engines and didn't found anything suspicious on it (ofc it could be wrong). DWYOR

It is up to the investor now on how they will use their funds investing on these meme coins. Most of them are just money-grab projects. So if they will not do their homework, it is only them to be blamed. No one else, because it is their decision at the end of the day. With meme coins sprouting like mushrooms, expect that most of them will die very soon, once the 'dev' pocketed something, even if they will not get that much.
1042  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: By all means make some money but don't be a Zionist, be a dignified gentile on: June 06, 2021, 10:50:43 PM
The difference here is in your need for money and the reason that prompted you to buy Bitcoin, some people like speculation and others are long-term investors.
In many cases, doing nothing is an ideal investment instead of following and analyzing the market to determine entry and exit points, and in the end, you lose all your money due to a wrong movement in the price estimation, after which the price rose 100% and did not return to decline.
Just like they did when bitcoin rose from 8k to 11 at the end of last year. it was a good earning but holding will give you 65k or 35k at current prices.

Every trader has their own goals why they are here in this market. And yes, it is true that it depends on the trader's necessity of his funds. Even if they wanted to hold long-term but if they have urgent needs of their funds, they have no choice but to sell off, even at a loss. And you can't blame them for giving up early because it is his personal needs that is in question here. Not everyone can afford to wait and sit long term and just let their investments be idle for long time.
1043  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum or Binance Chain (BNB)? on: June 05, 2021, 11:57:05 PM
~snip

I think the presence of BSC is not to compete with Ethereum, but rather to collaborate with Ethereum. So that the Ethereum network will be lighter with the presence of BSC. The concept of BSC and Ethereum concept is almost the same. We can use Ethereum for BSC and BSC for Ethereum. This proves that BSC and Ethereum can collaborate well.
After using both smart chain, I realized that "one room and two door". You must have BNB on chain to send BSC tokens, same too Ethereum blockchain. BSC never be a competitor of Ethereum blockchain.

BSC is giving good alternative for users if they don't want to pay ridiculous fees. But for those who don't want centralized platforms, they will stick to ETH network. Both networks are needed in this market, so it is up to the user if he will use both or one of these platforms. It is you how you will utilize these networks to your own benefit. Just be grateful that we have options in this market, and it is up to you how you will use them.
1044  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto trading vs Forex trading on: June 05, 2021, 11:36:31 PM
It's like asking "which is more profitable? selling fruits or vegetables?".

Both can work(assuming you actually know how to trade in the first place), which is "better" and "more profitable" will just completely depend on the trader. On which asset characteristics will you be better at trading. High volatility vs low volatility, swing trading vs scalping, etc.

You're right. His question is very subjective and relies on the trader himself. If you are a new crypto user, I don't think it is smart idea to go into crypto trading with a lot of money. You will lose your funds if you don't know what you are doing in crypto. But if you are already knowledgeable with forex trading, I would say, this will be profitable for you. Crypto trading needs time, experience to learn how these alts are performing in the market. There's no easy way how to learn this market. Better start small when you still new in crypto trading, and learn the ins and outs first.
1045  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin dump below $30,000 this week? on: June 05, 2021, 11:07:51 PM
No one knows what will happen again in bitcoin price, but it is only normal that a cryptocurrency will go dip in value. Just like what happened before that the bitcoin price significantly goes low and crash followed by most of the cryptocurrencies. And it seems that it will surely go back to normal state where they can recover again.
It is going to be difficult for bitcoin to go below that level, when the price was crashing we saw a very strong resistance at that point, I can only assume that this level was defended by the heavyweights of this market, old whales and institutional investors, which means that the chances that we see bitcoin below 30k this week or ever are very low and most likely it is never going to happen as it goes against the interests of the whales for the price to go that low.

Are you sure? 30k will have a lot of resistance but it is possible that whales push it down that far causing panic in the market while creating their own buy orders lower. I would say below 30k is possible. I know the post was from last week but now we see that Bitcoin struggles a good bit more than last week or at least at this level.
I wouldn't like it though because as we all know it has a lot of influence on all other coins as well. That's annoying every time when Bitcoin drops all your other crypto assets are in shambles as well.

It is really hard to see if your portfolio is going down, however, if you are here for long-term, just think that this phase will also pass. And from where it sits, it seems the stronghold for above 30k is good. But in this market, everything is possible, so yeah, it may go below 30k before we know it. And if that happens, don't panic, as you may execute decisions that you may regret later on. As early as now, you should be ready for that situation, and list possible scenarios that you know you can take advantage of.
1046  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dot, Next Ethereum on: June 05, 2021, 09:26:36 PM
Polkadot coin is one of my favorite coin in a current trend because of its scalability, profitability and a huge community make these coin faster growing to 9 place of coinmarketcap. But i wouldn't say polkadot will be the next ethereum because there are many good coin needs to compete like BNB, ADA and XRP in the cryptospace.

First, we need to see more projects being created under DOT network before competing these top alts. Competition is great in the market as they will push to cater the services at their best. There's no need to aim for the next eth, just aim to be the best in the market and that position will come easy. I prefer to see projects utlizing the network because that is the tangible proof that the network is really useful to projects. Aside from that, they should be successful on their own also.
1047  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SAFEPAND & BAMBOO - Cryptocurrencies built for a sustainable future. on: June 05, 2021, 06:16:14 PM
It says that they planted 100 trees already. Where are they doing this activity? Is it in Germany? If this initiative will continue, this will be a good legacy for the project and hopefully, they can extend it to other countries. At least not only taking advantage of the defi market but at the same time giving back to the community.
1048  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: IOI Game - A new era of trading gamified by race | Trade Race Manager on: June 04, 2021, 11:59:07 PM
Good News guys, IOI is now listed on coingecko.com
exchange? seems so close...!!
And also the team has prepared a new game about Trading Game, it will be more fun for the gamblers :v

Should be so close to be listed on exchange, cause usually a project is listed on a tracking site after hit a spot on an exchange. I doubt they will just stop after this. Btw I can imagine that trading game, must be more fun for play with variety level and rewards.

This project has been quite a while in the forum so I am assuming their value will be good once they hit in exchanges. If they have active use case, this will be the source of their value in the market and it will not be dumped hard. Wondering which exchange are they going to go after?

Also, the number of installs in their google play is not yet that much. Only about 5k+ right now, I believe they can do better than this number.
1049  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What percentage of investment BTC vs ETH on: June 04, 2021, 11:04:58 PM
I don't even save 1% btc in my portfolio, I prefer to invest in altcoins even though some people think it might be safer to invest in btc but I prefer altcoins because they can experience a higher increase maybe in a shorter time, but you have to choose the right coins.

Altcoins are more susceptible to pumps than bitcoin and have a smaller capitalization. This is what allows you to pump altcoins and they can increase in price by tens of percent per day. But if bitcoin falls in price, the price of altcoins decreases several times more than the price of BTC. For this reason, it is very important to use a stop loss.

If you will get lucky with alts, the profit is really good but most of them are high-risk investments as compared to btc. BTC and ETH are very good to include in your portfolio. And if I may add, BNB is a very promising one also. As it is backed by the number 1 crypto-exchange and with the current hype of BSC network, this will be an alt that you want to invest with. But at the end of the day, it is still your choice because it is your money. Just be smart about choosing alts to invest.
1050  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't we have too many smart contract platforms already? on: June 04, 2021, 09:50:41 PM
I don't think Cardano has smart contracts or they haven't been activated it yet, Wink
Most of the so-called smart contracts are represented in the ability to create tokens and make exchanges, so we only need two or three main blockchain and the rest will be a repetition of previous ideas.
I also think that if we were able to create parallel contracts and the ability to make cryptocurrencies talk to each other and carry out transfers, the need for many tokens would end.

Regulation will end the speculation and therefore there will be no use for these tokens

Repetition and slight modifications. They will introduce lil bit of changes and will sell it as better than others. Everyone is free to introduce their project but the difference may come to the fact that not all of them can manage their developments and sustain their operations. This is where they can beat with each other. Like ETH, a lot are trying to beat their network, however, even if they have shortcomings, they maintain their top 2 position. Because eth development team is very solid and they have resources to innovate. Whereas, others are not that aggressive when it comes to their developments.
1051  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: This is best time buying SHIB token or not on: June 03, 2021, 09:05:34 PM
Grin Yes, yes, I bought a shiba .... and already lost it 3 times. That's why I don't trust memes anymore. They give up so easily. Well, now I, too, am a holder, I have nothing left. We will wait ten years.

Maybe you need some patience so that you can at least recover your losses.  The value might decrease but if you have not sold your token yet, there is still a chance for your token to recover its value.  I see their developer working hard and I see that there are several projects ahead that can support the value of SHIB if the DEV intended to.  I bought in the early days so even when the price decline in the past days, I am still at a profit.  But of course, I would not advice OP to buy the token if he has no patience.   With a huge supply, I think the price OP asked will take years to realize.

How do you know that their developer is working hard on SHIB? Because their thread here - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5265926.0, seems abandoned. Though I'm not following any of their social media channels. Do you happen to know what they are cooking for SHIB holders? They are in the top 28 now, and we all know, attaining such spot is really hard for other coins/tokens. And yet, this newcomer made it to that spot. But how long can they sustain such position?
1052  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 2 Simple Ways Crypto Whales Manipulate the Market on: June 02, 2021, 11:20:35 PM
Currently, tools that all people have access are used, and they are social networks, when influential people speak out, they move masses, emotions and cause them to buy or sell, such is the case of the best example Elon Musk, with only a few tweets he made many They will buy Doge and BTC in a massive way, so much that the prices made a big pump, but he by launching a tweet not so good for BTC caused one of the biggest Dumps of all, it is obvious that it was a strategy, if he wanted to sell BTC He achieved it in a great way, this type of manipulation has been applied since the 1800s in the stock market.

It is absolutely not acceptable to me but we can't stop people from doing this as they think that Elon Musk is helping us (for example). Of course, I do the same but to unfortunate that this person had ruined everything and makes us a fool.

This is to understand that it could be easy for the rich people, known personality to manipulate the market as they have the power to make it. We can never stop them as well as it was their right. It's up to us to decide if we have to follow them or not.

Since we can't stop this from happening as it depends on the person himself and we can't dictate them what to say, just take advantage of the situation. If we can't beat them, join them, right? After all, he doesn't care what will happen to your portfolio. It is your money, so take care of it and be responsible with your decisions. These whales are free to manipulate the market but as a small crypto user you need to take care of your own business.
1053  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Opulous | Music Copyright NFTs & DeFi Loans | www.opulous.org on: June 02, 2021, 10:04:21 PM
Why NFTs?

As a currency, tokens need to be fungible, that is, 1 token should always be exchangeable for 1 token, which makes fiat money and Bitcoin so successful.

But there is a reason to make non-fungible tokens, that are unique in properties and are not of equal value to each other.

**One major use is in the creative industry where NFTs **contain extra information stored in them, taking different formats. JPG or GIF, for example, to represent digital graphics or photos. MP3s to represemt songs, MPGs to represent video.

It proves the property detailed inside to be unique, and if stored in a wallet you own, also proves that you are the owner of that digital property.
This immediately solves two things: prevents forgery, and proves ownership indisputably.

Because they’re digital, they’re also easy to transfer without compromising security or safety.

It is nice that you are active in this thread and ready to answer any issues or query posted by the users here. With your different partnerships on board, I assume that reaching out those artists/singers and forging relationships would not be a problem. This will be a good way for them to earn income as well as reaching out their fans. Usually, the objectives are great but when it comes to implementation, that's where most projects fail. So hopefully, you can really materialize this platform and sustain its presence in the market.
1054  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]👊💪AMC - International token for tournaments, fans, MMA fighters 👊💪 on: June 02, 2021, 09:21:56 PM
Well, talking about the sports industry, I bet it is a smart idea to tokenize the related stuff. Guys from AMC global are giving it a try, in the future might be some lucrative project.

This one seems to be a promising project as they have existing company already. Also, with long list of partners, this will gonna push thru even if we say, they will not raise much money during their pre-sale. But with their private sale as sold out, it will not be surprised if they will sell out as well in these upcoming token sales. This maybe worth to invest because they have existing platform already.
1055  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Doge and coindbase on: June 02, 2021, 08:03:25 PM
Though I doubt it, DOGE is pretty much pumped and dumped to hell that $1 is not impossible. With that said, why are you even trading if you can't come up with your own decisions though? It  may or may not reach $1 following the Coinbase main listing. Think for yourself: is a 140% pump possible from the Coinbase listing alone?

And if btc will stay below 40k, I don't think doge will be pumped up to $1. But as you said, this case is not impossible to happen. And if coinbase will finally list doge, it may jump from its current price but not too much. So if the OP wants to take a risk and want to earn even lil bit of profits, he can still buy doge right now. But that is on him. As mk4 said, coinbase listing alone will not pump it to 140% price range.
1056  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Yoy Chain Farm [ Ysoy | yTOFU| ySOYMILK |ySoybean oil] on: June 01, 2021, 10:34:10 PM
Hope you are not using newbies to bump your thread because if this will continue, I don't think users from the forum will see this as a sincere project. Just let the users from here notice your platform. If this is a promising one, they will join, but if not, you need to find another way of marketing your project. The competition among defi platforms is already tough, so you need to find your identity and sell it to the community.
1057  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Lost 17500$ during recent downswing, Now completely broke. on: June 01, 2021, 08:51:01 PM
This is like you entered a war with no enough weapons and ammunition and no gameplan at all and thats really risky 100% leverage is kinda high you can gain huge amount in seconds but you will also bankrupt in seconds its a lesson learned OP, better make plan next time and stick to it.

if you have done futures trading it will make us addicted, why?
because in futures trading, of course the capital that we trade, will be 2x to 10x easily if all your analysis is correct,
but it is true that the losses we will get are also getting bigger, even your capital may wll lose, so follow the trading rules and you will be safe

The problem with the OP is that he said he didn't make any analysis. So it is like he is putting his money on the market blindly, which is actually not very good. Even if we say, TA will not work all the time, at least you have idea on what may happen. But here, it is like he is punching in the air. Anyway, that will be his lesson and by now, I guess, he already recovered. As long as we live, we have the chance to earn money.
1058  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why use the word CRASH instead of LOSSES on BTC? on: May 31, 2021, 11:46:41 PM
But you'll also see the same description for even minor corrections or gradual downtrends.  Might as well get used to it, though.  It's not going to change any time soon.

Maybe this is the fact. It is not going to change any soon. I would have to get used to it. But when I hear the word crash, especially from the unbelievers of BTC, they present it asive it is the end of the project.

I understand what you are feeling here. For those noncrypto users, if they hear crash, definitely, they will panic or the impact is quite alarming for them. But you can't do anything much about that. If you are here in this market, you will hear it more often. Not an exaggeration of what's happening, but it is more of like the norm of saying when the market is going downhill.
1059  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]$MRJF - The first fully automated decentralized job search engine on: May 31, 2021, 11:10:55 PM
Just couple of questions here - if a user uploads his resume, how safe it is for him that his data will not be used by others for some ill motives? Is there some type of restrictions for those who can view and download the resume of the user?
1060  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why is the process of listing Cryptocurrencies simple? on: May 31, 2021, 09:58:05 PM
Top exchanges have their own standards on listing new tokens, one of those requirements are paying huge fees and that’s why not all was able to land on CEX. We can see a lot of new tokens easily get listed on DEX, there’s no such restrictions as anyone can list their token, so its our job now to know if that project is legit or not, that’s part of doing your own research before you invest.

Tokens listed on DEX has usually no fees, so basically everyone can just add their own token. This is the reason why we are seeing some fake tokens in DEX. So your responsibility is to double-check the token contract address. Because some scammers will create the same name of the token, especially those popular ones but when you check the contract address, it is different. So you need to be careful with that. Trust only the official announcements. But when it comes to CEX, top exchanges are hard as they have stringent requirements as well as high fees. So for CEX, the listing is not quite easy.
