According to this news source, Manchester City are really interested in Dortmund's great striker Erling Haaland. However, they are not willing to spend too much to sign him. Maybe the reason why they made a statement like this (if it's not a rumour) could be that they are thinking of signing Harry Kane at the first occasion. Harry Kane is unhappy at Tottenham now and he wants to leave the team as soon as possible. And he would cost less than Haaland to City I guess.  Grin

https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/haaland-man-city-transfer-news-22473845

It’s a ridiculous desire to get a young super soccer player (who probably represents the future golden generation) for little money  Grin This is something of a fantasy. Even if Haaland becomes a free agent it won't be cheap to get him - too many clubs want him and will give him huge payoffs for him to choose their club.

Past achievements are worthless, so they can be ignored. This season, Simeone received the world's strongest (as it seemed at the beginning of the season) bunch of strikers Suarez + Greenzman, and how did he dispose of it? Atlético continued to play tedious defensive football, which yielded mediocre results all season (they miraculously got into the Champions League playoffs and their position in La Liga is weak). What is the likelihood that Simeone will be able to radically change something? Historically, I see that it is very small. What is the likelihood that a great team (in composition) will finally start to play well? Much more since real changes are taking place in United (for example, a change of coach).
Atletico's defense is quite strong. Besides that, the counter-attack by Diego Simoeone's team is also very dangerous because they always counterattack quickly so MU must be vigilant.
but maybe if compared to Atletico's performance is better than MU at this time depending on how Rangnick can mix something new or not now because the possibility of MU will lose is quite large

Even in the Spanish championship, Atletico concedes more than one goal in one game - this season their main feature (defense) is not yet as good as usual. In the Champions League, they conceded 5 goals in two matches with Liverpool, United are certainly far from Liverpool's effectiveness in attack at the moment, but we can see the "strength" of Atlético in defense from these results.

I really appreciate PSG's gigantic form in the Ligue 1 so far. They are playing like they are in a video game.  Cheesy  They have lost only once so far in 18 Ligue 1 games. And they won 14 of them. They have a gap like 13 points even with the second-placed team which are Marseille. The other teams including Marseille are having a very big difficulty in keeping up with PSG. And as there is a very wide gap in strength between PSG and any of the rest of the teams, it is not seen as a surprising thing.

You've probably watched few of PSG's domestic league games this season - most of them were pretty tough and PSG had a last-minute result. Often they had to recoup after an unsuccessful start to the match. Their results are really impressive (the best result from the top 5 championships), but the game itself leaves much to be desired.

Damn, what's going on with Chelsea? Why can't they win such a simple match? I think a lot of multi bets have collapsed today because of this match.
Like I have said, Chelsea has really deteriorated, the club had the zeal when it was at the top, the zeal was reduced when the club dropped to 3rd position on EPL league table. I hope Chelsea will be able to fight for Champions League. For Chelsea to win the EPL title this season is getting more impossible.

About bet, yes, many people have lost bet already but there is nothing bad for us to usese what we can afford to lose and never affecting us negatively.

Do you mean to win the Champions League? This is likely, at least Chelsea has the same chances as the rest of the main contenders. If you mean getting into the Champions League next year, then there is nothing to worry about - Chelsea will not drop below 4th place 100%.
As for the bets, I would not say that it is so easy to lose. Since people are betting (especially in such an obvious match), they expect a positive outcome.
10425  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: December 16, 2021, 09:40:30 PM
The results of today's games seem to be predetermined

‍Chelsea - Everton 1,26 - 6,20 - 12,00

‍Liverpool - Newcastle 1,12 - 10,00 - 22,00

The multiple bet to win Chelsea and Liverpool (1,41 odds) looks attractive, but is it worth it? From the point of view of mathematics, it is more profitable to find a single bet with a similar odds. Maybe you should take Salah to score with the odds of 3.2? Looks like an underrated event.

I'm also wondering if it's really worth making a multi bet, I'll wait 15 minutes of game maybe everton make some difficulty for chelsea and the odd will increase a little or maybe liverpool will find some difficulty and the odd will increase, because only thing which is being a big obstacle in a multi Is this odd of @1.10 from liverpool, if at least liverpool had an odd of @1.20 it would be very nice to make a multi

Damn, what's going on with Chelsea? Why can't they win such a simple match? I think a lot of multi bets have collapsed today because of this match.
I was right about Salah and it looks like Liverpool will also win, although surprisingly the advantage is still minimal and the opponent have a chance.
10426  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: December 16, 2021, 09:30:29 PM
It would be absurd (and quite unfair to the clubs that participate in the Europa League from the group stage) if the clubs eliminated from the Champions League take their places in the tournament and we will see competition among the Champions League losers from the quarter-finals stage. And when I look at the pairs that came out of the draw, I am sure that most of the clubs from the Champions League will make it to the round of 16.

I also do not find this application correct.  Teams eliminated from the Champions League should not go to the Europa League.  Teams eliminated from the European league should not go to the Conference league either.  I think every trophy should continue in its own lane.  As such, the chances and financial conditions of strong teams from the Champions League are higher than the clubs that have participated in the Europa League from the very beginning.

Plus, I think any fan wants simple formats like: the team wins - goes forward. When I start to figure out what happens to the clubs after the group stages and how they start to shuffle between the Europa League and the Conference League, my head boils. Absolutely stupid rules allow you to start a competition in one tournament and end it in another.

Hi all hope we are having an exciting time playing games this season it's a holiday period and I will like to know who the Dice lovers are, I have spent a lot of time playing dice and have learned various lessons which have helped me to develop and speculate the dice machine so am lead to ask do any of you have speculation/analysis on dice let discuss.
What can be discussed here? Dice is the simplest game in which, in fact, nothing depends on the player. Its popularity (in my opinion) is explained only by the fact that online casinos offer many settings for automated play, which allows you to come up with and test different strategies.
Maybe you should first show your analysis so that we have something to discuss?
10429  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: December 16, 2021, 05:07:21 PM
There are matches like the champions league.  Barcelona-Napoli matchup is such a match.  In addition, the Lazio-Porto match can be played at a high level.  The teams that finished first in their group and the winners of these matches will play in other matches.  Leading teams are their groups;  Lyon, Monaco, Spartak Moscow, Eintracht Frankfurt, Galatasaray, Red Star, Bayer Leverkusen and West Ham.  There will be very competitive matches.

I think one season is enough to gain experience from Messi and Neymar. Mbappe is already an accomplished player, he has already played with all (against all) star players in the world, now he needs to farm statistics and achievements to go down in history (competitors like Haaland are not asleep) and it will be more convenient to do this in Real than in PSG (which is season as if it was in the wrong league and plays with midgets and not serious rivals).
Messi is going to last years of his career and his time in PSG is counting down. He can play well in up to 3 seasons and after that, seriously I don't know how he will play. He can score some important goals and decide matches but his importance for club will decrease dramatically when he is ageing more.

Mbappe is a very lucky player. He is not only talented but also belong to a right generation to take over leading positions from Messi and Ronaldo. Mbappe and Haaland are players for next generation. We mentioned a lot about Bale, Hazaard, Neymar but they are long in period when Messi and Ronaldo were in their best. So chance for Hazaard, Neymar and Bale to take over those two greatest players in last 20 years is very very small. It's impossible mission for them.

If they had played in period without Messi and Ronaldo, I think Bale, Neymar and Hazaard would have won at least one Ballon dOr'

I think that the importance of Messi right now is already small for PSG, but he will definitely play a couple of seasons as the name >> real benefit on the field. Football is a media business.
As for the Ballon d'Or, it is a paltry, discredited award and it does not matter - for example, Xavi and Iniesta do not have a single Ballon d'Or for two. This is funny.

In fact, it is not yet clear who should be more afraid in this pair. Both clubs are in crisis now, but before the games there is enough time to change the game and get the necessary game form, so whoever solves these problems will be the favorite in the upcoming confrontation. I hope it will be United and objectively speaking United has more potential for growth than Atlético.
It's silly to talk about the strength of the teams, because there are still two months left before the confrontation and a lot can change during this time. I have no doubt about the class and strength of Cristiano Ronaldo's game, but football is a collective game and 11 people participate in it, and a lot also depends on the efforts of the other players. I would not dare to talk about the greater potential of the Manchester United squad compared to Atletico Madrid, because Diego Simeone has proven throughout his previous career and skill at Atletico that he is able to remove stronger teams from his path, skillfully building the game and tactics of the team in such matches.

Past achievements are worthless, so they can be ignored. This season, Simeone received the world's strongest (as it seemed at the beginning of the season) bunch of strikers Suarez + Greenzman, and how did he dispose of it? Barcelona's only advantage over Real is the absence of Benzema, Mbappe and Vinicius there - if Haaland moves to Barcelona, he will be the top-1 attacker there with minimal competition. But this is a rather risky option, because without other acquisitions Barcelona will not be able to return to its previous level and obviously Haaland leaves Borussia not with goal to get into Spanish Borussia  Grin
Oh yes, the current Barcelona is not the best option and what is most important in this case is not the most profitable option for a player like Haaland. When I constantly read information that Barcelona wants to sign a player, but at the same time wants to ask him to reduce wages, then information about Barcelona's interest in Haaland is perceived with great bewilderment. Reading the previous statements of Mino Raiola, it is hard to believe that Barcelona will be able to simultaneously satisfy the financial appetites of Borussia Dortmund, the player himself and his agent. Therefore, all this looks like just an attempt on the part of the Barcelona management to remind once again about themselves and show their importance. They say we are still a super club and therefore we can participate in such high-profile transfers.

Barcelona's only chance to get a lot of money at once and come back to the fight for the top players in the transfer market is the start of the Super League, but I haven't heard any good news about it lately. By the way, I do not think that Barcelona under Xavi's leadership is suitable for Haaland, the classic tiki-taka is not something that suits such a determined and aggressive player.
10434  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: December 16, 2021, 03:48:14 PM
One of the factors is that he is still young he has enough energy so he can overcome obstacles no wonder for the next few years his name will always appear on the scoreboard
Dortmund also realized this so they kept Haaland in this transfer window, btw Haaland has not been able to surpass Robert Lewandowski in the top score list.

Haaland is behind Lewandowski now, but that could change - Borussia has an easier calendar than Bayern, due to the fact that it has already left the Champions League, and the Europa League is not so important. I think that by the end of the championship, when the difference between them in terms of games played decreases (at least in percentage terms), we will be able to more objectively judge which of them was the top scorer this season.
10435  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: December 16, 2021, 03:42:26 PM
AC Milan 19:45 Napoli I pray that Napoli will wake up and start playing well again.
Milan's performance is unstable, draw vs Udinese and lost vs Liverpool. they only win when meet a weak team. and in fact, they also lost vs Sassuolo. For sure when meet Napoli, we have doubt they can get the win easy even though they play at home because several attackers have injured like Giroud and Leao. Now, Milan rely only on Ibra and Diaz without any substitute that could make them tired in the center field.

Yes, the more or less strong club that they have beaten lately is Atlético (just 1-0) in the Champions League. We can say that Milan owes its high place to a light calendar of games. In fact, both teams are in a similar position and each needs to win, the odds from the bookmaker's point of view also do not differ much (Milan is regarded as a favorite, but rather due to the fact that it plays at home):‍
2,31 - 3,50 - 3,10
10436  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: December 15, 2021, 11:22:18 PM
There was no surprising incident in the Dortmund - Greuther Furth game and Dortmund easily defeated their opponent by 3-0. Furth were already no match for Dortmund and Dortmund needed to make up for the big mistake they made against Bochum in the last round. Erling Haaland was in fine feather again and he scored 2 goals in this game. He follows Lewandowski (18 goals) and P. Schick (16 goals) by 13 goals in the top scorers table.

If I'm not mistaken, Haaland leads in terms of goals scored to games played - he scored 13 goals in just 9 games. An amazing performance, even if you take all 3 seasons that he plays in Borussia, his average performance is higher than one goal per game - this is a rare achievement in modern football, especially when playing not for a top club.

Next week can be the last call for Napoli, if they lose with Milan they will be out IMHO, at least psychologically.

Friday 17th December
Lazio 17:30 Genoa
Salernitana 19:45 Inter Milan

Saturday 18th December
Atalanta 14:00 Roma
Bologna 17:00 Juventus
Cagliari 19:45 Udinese

Sunday 19th December
Fiorentina 11:30 Sassuolo
Spezia 14:00 Empoli
Sampdoria 17:00 Venezia
Torino 17:00 Verona
AC Milan 19:45 Napoli

Source: https://www.skysports.com/serie-a-fixtures
Sure. This will be the final watershed between Napoli and the group of clubs that really claim the championship (well, if this unsuccessful streak continues for Napoli, it will look incredible - two diametrically opposite league segments).
By the way, a great tour - I see as many as three top matches that will need to be watched:

Atalanta 14:00 Roma go go Mourinho!
Bologna 17:00 Juventus There is a premonition that Juventus will surprise everyone again and lose points.
AC Milan 19:45 Napoli I pray that Napoli will wake up and start playing well again.

If Haaland wants to go to Spain, there are two clubs he will go to: Real Madrid or Barcelona.  If Barcelona can manage the financial resources properly, Haaland can win with its prestige.  Of course, there are many clubs to compete in.  There are many teams in England, Spain and other leagues that want Haaland to join their team.

Barcelona's only advantage over Real is the absence of Benzema, Mbappe and Vinicius there - if Haaland moves to Barcelona, he will be the top-1 attacker there with minimal competition. Manchester United fans might be a bit scared already facing Athletico Madrid.
Prior to this meeting, good thing they have Cristiano Ronaldo,as he holds the record of the only player that has an hat-trick against the defending champion's of La Liga.
Will Cristiano secure another hat trick against the Spanish giant's once more ?
This might seems to be a new era anyways.

I think Arsenal is underestimated in this pair.
2.12 - 3.6 - 3.45

Not to be underestimated, but rather to the latest current data on how Arsenal's internal conditions have been quite problematic lately, the captain and striker's condition in disciplinary cases and the impact on their match with Southampton made a new framing in the next match.  I also don't see this match going well.

Hehe, as you can see Arsenal won the game and West Ham had almost no chance of even drawing. They could have scored one goal but no more, while Arsenal dominated the entire match and could have scored more. In my opinion, in this particular match, the bookmakers underestimated Arsenal and many betters who are trying to find such distorted bets made bets here.
