I suggest the Lketc Mintforger Dragon 1 Th/s (1000 Gh/s) Sha-256 Asic 28nm Bitcoin Miner

Why would you suggest a very outdated but still quite expensive Miner, that only has 1J/GH Efficiency? This is Antminer S1 territory...

Rich

This is OP's post and the thing that he needs

(EDIT: I am changing my requirements to be anything that is quiet enough to be used in a living space. 1 TH/s 1000 watts is acceptable. Standalone preferred. RPI / PC conection acceptable.)

I am just suggesting something that he can used, he doesn't said his budget so I supposed he can afford that.
but again if not two or three antminer will be great, and I'm using antminers too.  Grin

Here is the pictures of my spare room.

If you have a decent budget Lketc Mintforger Dragon 1 Th/s (1000 Gh/s) will be good it can mine solo
easy and friendly it is good in a small space room like that a good ventilation set up will do!

10426  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: "Modern" home mining hardware? on: October 07, 2015, 06:31:55 AM
I suggest the Lketc Mintforger Dragon 1 Th/s (1000 Gh/s) Sha-256 Asic 28nm Bitcoin Miner
it has highest efficiency, compact form factor and built-in power supply!
Embedded CGMiner with complete stand-alone operation. After configuring it,
the machine mines alone without a PC connection required. but it is very expensive
$2,649.00 and it is available in amazon!

the antminer S7 has 2 batch available I prefer batch 1 for speed purpose

goodluck in finding what's best for you.  Grin

medyo OK naman yung iba, pero kulang parin kailangan talaga dedicated ka sa mga ganyan eh!  Tongue
10429  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: How good is 10TH/s? on: October 06, 2015, 01:44:14 PM
Ok so I ordered some new mining hardware, and when it comes in and is all set up is should be slightly over the 10TH/s mark. I plan on pool mining, but my question is; at this point is it enough to solo mine? Would I have a good chance at finding any blocks? Just for example purposes what would I possibly be able to find in a period of 1 month?

If you are planning in pool mining why risk? in just solo! I prefer start by 5 Mining hardware of 10TH/s
instead of one, Quantity is needed if you are thinking of finding blocks faster right!

10436  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: I am out of the mining game :( on: October 06, 2015, 10:28:31 AM
Me too. been out for a long time and only mined coins i thought was worth it. Now dismantling rigs and moving on to something that actually gives money. Like a real life job o.O

Maybe the odds are not right for you to mine yet, the experience in failing is great when you realized that
you had invest so much money to this then you didn't reach ROI,
I feel you man!  Embarrassed
10437  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Is it worth mining? on: October 06, 2015, 09:55:23 AM

Not right now, thats the only place where you can get home miners at the moment from a manufacturer. There's tons of resellers selling overpriced stuff but i can't recommend that. Your best bet is the marketplace here, buy used from another user.

So if you only want to buy "new" there's Bitmain at the moment with the S7 which is not super stellar imo.

OK Thanks for the advice, I would like to check the marketplace if I could get some great stuff there.

But even if S7 is not that great at the moment, as a miner there is a possibility to profit
if you know the right place, time, and equipment you might need to keep on track with your bitcoin.

thanks in advance  Grin
10438  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Pilipinas (Philippines) on: October 06, 2015, 08:24:15 AM

Cheesy
10439  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Pilipinas (Philippines) on: October 06, 2015, 07:55:14 AM

Cheesy

10440  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: ANTMINER S7 SPECULATION! on: October 06, 2015, 07:48:22 AM
Power Consumption is nothing if you meet up your target ROI, you just need to balanced your time of maintenance
I prefer an own place for your Rig than a rented place to lessen expenses! and I prefer the batched 1 antminer S7
for speed efficiency  Tongue

And also come resell time far down the road it will carry a higher value.  So you pay more.... but in end it should sell for more on faster one.

I would tend to agree go for faster and more efficient one.   Likely if they fix what ever problem made the slower one future batches will just be the one that runs at spec.

Well I would highly Recommend the Faster ones, well you are right they will need to fix certain problems with slower
version of the S7, for a lower price but it is not highly capable of meeting the ROI that needed,

well I would stick to faster ones! or if the slower S7 is meeting the ROI needed it is highly to get more profit on faster ones!
