10421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: RISE | ICO CLOSED | RISE WITHDRAWAL ENABLED | MAINNET LIVE | TRADING ON BITTREX on: July 10, 2016, 05:22:32 AM
There seems to be no activity this time, can't even pass $0.01.

There were 100m in the initial distribution, there is an ongoing amount to be forged over many years, whats so hard to understand about this?

Bitcoin acts the same way, every coin acts the same way.

Once we all get our votes in, they will lower the rewards for RISE.

You mean Maximum supply of rise which they said is just 100M is just for advertising? The team is indeed doing a great job.

So is this the third or fourth crowdsale?  And right on the heels of the last one?

New crypto standard...If the crowdsale ends, hold another one!

what else do you do when there is a demand for it? you sell!

Why not! give what the users want after all we get to play with it. the bittrex market is going great.
I have all the time staring on the computer monitor all day so I better just play I assume the rest of us also have free time online.
10423  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Moved on: July 10, 2016, 04:36:15 AM
Nice! Good to see the price is getting stronger.  the upgrade seem to be making a buzz making users buy more.
Dev is doing great! Congrats!  hope to see it not only exist on yobit.
10424  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In all SERIOUSNESS on: July 09, 2016, 06:39:20 PM
So far nothing significant happened and I expect nothing will happen. It is hard to link recent price surge from last month directly with halving.
It was most likely caused by stadard market fluctuation and Chinese speculators more than anything.

Halving is not a on/off switch for BTC price to skyrocket (you can see price charts from around previous halving) and market will slowly adapt.

I actually think the recent hike from last month is due to the coming halving.
The word is out about halving and that for the users to get a chance to invest and profit, they were buying before supply is going to run out due to halving.
But we'll see what will happen with 24hours.
10425  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for a twitter account most of followers are bitcoin users on: July 09, 2016, 04:36:20 PM
Still looking

Not sure if someone with such account that had 10k followers will actually sell it. If someone have such account they may be able to earn more than you can offer.
i have 2k twitter followers, pm if interested.

or you can develop yourself by bribing everyone to follow you for btc.
10426  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: July 09, 2016, 04:30:57 PM
The Poloniex rejection should be highlighted by everyone.

Rejection?

Not one of you has not get a concrete answer from Polo. No need to jump to conclusions ahead of time. Smiley

Because imho poloniex (itself) is so professional & serious that it doesn't lose its time to reply to the waves community.

I see you and your group of cocksucker trying so hard to buy back in to waves ?? LOL Cheesy Cheesy
These people still spreading FUD until now are so funny, they cannot see the price now that we are slowly moving up and we will reach our goal in no time going to the moon, just let them do what they want because we will never stop supporting waves.

FUDsters just don't know when to quit Smiley
WAVES team have figured where to market the platform elsewhere without the FUDsters getting in the way.  wavestalk.org seem getting good too.
10427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: July 09, 2016, 04:13:54 PM
Poloniex seem to have stopped doing anything since the DAO/ether fiasco.  They still haven't upgraded the NAV blockchain after 6 weeks.  They haven't added any new coins since then either.

This ^ +100

The last coin added on Polo was The DAO tokens. I think there is some issue at Polo that they are trying to sort out before adding more coins. Have you seen how slow and unresponsive Polo gets when there is big movements on ETH? It's ridiculous, you almost can't trade.

I wouldn't be surprised if Polo is busy updating their back-end to cope with the load, before adding more coins. WAVES  have the potential to add a lot more volume to Polo.

So i think the Polo listing will happen after the release of the full node code and Polo have completed whatever they are doing.

Just my 2c

And I guess its not going to surprise us all that Polo may go nuts any moment and may declare they were also hacked?
I may really get out of there if I have some coins I kept for safe keeping. Like every one knew, exchanges can really be a pain in the ass.
10428  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: OrangeWebsite.com anonymous webhosting discussion and feedback on: July 09, 2016, 03:45:30 PM
Anonymous webhosting really is something interesting. if the site is receiving good feedbacks i might just move my sites to them as well.
This means that i can also register a domain to them. do they allow it that we purposely create fake names?
10429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BRK] Breakout Chain | BRK Sale Raised 851 BTC! | Multicurrencies + Free Poker on: July 09, 2016, 03:02:24 PM

Got few Siscoin on my wallet to which I've bought from someone, can these siscoin also be traded?
interesting because its released but I don't see SIScoin listed to some exchange, why?
10430  Economy / Speculation / Re: Good idea to buy bitcoins now? on: July 09, 2016, 06:15:25 AM
If buying in to high, that should mostly affect your required hodling timespan and reduce your potential revenue.
Just never panic sell.
Of course, with the current state of bitcoins now, I believe we are living in a strong economy and bitcoin will not easily crash and with the normal price fluctuation even if sometimes going downward we should believe and don't sell.
its not as strong as it is really. if what they assume that its price will go up after halving, we may just be able to see how strong bitcoin economy and the crypto as a whole. if halving indeed would prove the demand and supply law still applies then i guess we're all good.
10431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: July 09, 2016, 06:10:43 AM
how in the world can you enjoy the price when its not making a sudden move going up and down.
if it goes up all of a sudden i'd rather dump and buy back the moment it does a sudden move down. that way i can enjoy the price movement. but unfortunately we need more dolores and coinbiz than ever.
10432  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should I invest in bitcoin casinos? on: July 09, 2016, 04:59:04 AM
I have $3000 USD to invest, is it worth it?

What sort of returns should I expect
i was looking for investing in BTC casinos,it is looking great but... i dont like it anyway,in most sites you need to invest minimum 1 btc or a little less.
Anyway if the house edge is implemented you should always get profit at long term... unless casino is a scam

Investing on bitvest.io only requires 0.01btc as what I've read so having 3000USD is sure a lot.
you can be a casino partner if you can submit a proposal to them. but that  is if they are open to partnership.
Where is more profitable than investing with moneypot.com? I heard some gamblers here recommend to invest in moneypot because that site is profitable, really don't know, anyone has the experience here?

I would not put one satoshi into moneypot. They keep getting attacked and going down causing for withdrawal problems and one of its owners acts crazy in the threads of his competitors. If you want to know more just look at acoinllc profile and trust.

That's a whole lot of red. He must be kicking himself for going crazy on the LIR thread.
lol,lol,lol.
Well that is nature in the business, when a site is more profitable the other gambling sites usually do the damage for the popular site, moneypot should improve their system to retain their investors.

so acoinllc owns it. how much have you earned from moneypot every month if you have invested to them?
if they only require 0.01 btc like bitvest, i may also try them just to compare both and may invest more later.
10433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BRK] Breakout Chain | Bittrex ICO FINAL Hours | Multicurrencies + Free Poker on: July 09, 2016, 04:03:12 AM
benthach a trustworthy person?   Roll Eyes
You guys still want s the price to go down when its only  just 17k as of now. its now cheaper you now can stop the FUD. And just wait for the profit.
10434  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Trading on: July 09, 2016, 03:41:08 AM

10435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ECHO] ECHO | The Encrypted Chat + Blockchain Wallet 2.0 for everybody on: July 09, 2016, 02:37:01 AM
When is the official release of the coin? I'm currently saving my BTC for ECHO.
I feel like its going to compete WAVES but it might just be better due to the steem support. even better since it don 't just add USD and Yuan bu also EUR.
10436  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 200: Cormier vs. Jones 2 on: July 09, 2016, 02:28:53 AM
Oh for fuck sakes. I was ready to have some fun tonight with an exciting match. Even if i hate Jon Bones Jones I was giving him a win since its the most safe bet, but DC had real chances to kick his ass, DC is incredibly talented. This fucking cheater with the cocaine habit again. Fuck Jon Bones Jones.

You know, the fact that Jones was caught doping only means that Cormier could win with PED use. My friend was arguing about betting on Cormier because he thinks Jones' problem was mental after being affected by his drug use.  Cormier on the other hand is super motivated which means he could actually have the edge, but also taking into account that he improved his cardio and not get tired in the fight.
hard to choose but being a fans here i think i would still go for jones might be another era on his career making him win will make some impact for his name and will start another chance, but for us good luck.

You don't know do you? Jones quit!
I eventual didn't watch and have no intention to watch the fight when i learned about it. Not sure if there is a way to cancel bet ion directbet.eu. still want to know who is fighting with DC
10437  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price predictions for after the halving on: July 09, 2016, 02:07:17 AM
The halvening is near, and things have changed a bit the last days. When first it seemed people had already dumped following the 780 peak, the 560-80 range held and it seems to be all bullish again.

So my predictions are: The halving day is a "party day", so it must be bullish. The price will reach ~700 around the halving block (680-720). Then it will go up further a bit, and hit the 780 mark. If it breaks this mark (that's totally possible), then it will go even higher, into the high 800s.

For the next two months I predict relative high volatility in the range between 560 and 880, maybe even 950. Then things will calm down at around the same price we are now (600-680), with the sideways market ending in November/December with another uptrend.

Thats a very positive outlook. I would hope it could happen after all the demand for bitcoin is getting stronger still as people don't even recognize any altcoin yet.
A lot of us are holding BTC still even with all the ICOs around.
10438  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: RISE | ICO CLOSED | RISE WITHDRAWAL ENABLED | MAINNET LIVE | TRADING ON BITTREX on: July 09, 2016, 01:52:22 AM
Did you all get your Twitter bounties?
Didn't get mine and I PM'd  two days ago to this guy
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=875840

Didn't got mine as well. I've already PMed the account twice.

Update:

Related Blog Post:

We are in the process of confirming the two developers that will work full time alongside Justin on the Rise codebase.

On top of that we are hiring an extra person who will take on an "executive director" postition. His role will be to demonstrate Rise to organisations and showcase the potential of blockchain technology in real world applications using the Rise platform. Full public profile will be included in the next update along with more details of what our executive director will be aiming to achieve.

To quote Justin from earlier today in Slack:

Quote
We are finishing up legal reviews, business and financial paperwork, finding office space, HR, and all of the other stuff that goes with running a business. Once everyone is fully onboard, and all of our paperwork is in place, we will modify the roadmap and start executing on that roadmap.

Twitter Bounty:

Over 200 payments have gone out and we'll get caught up with the rest of submissions by Sunday.

Rise Forum:

An independant forum dedicated to Rise is on it's way and should be released tomorrow we just have some content and graphical touches to add, so when they come in we can make the forum live.

PR and Marketing:

We have an initial marketing budget for the next six months that will allow for attending and speaking at conferences to spread the word about Rise and what we are doing in this space. The marketing budget will be reassessed at the end of the half year period and there will be adjustments made for the next 6 months as needed. Articles and press releases are on the way. An article is expected in the next week that includes an interview with lead developer Justin.

To recap, the focus atm is in getting the right structure in place to set Rise up for a solid future.

Facebook marketing can really be a good help. WAVES did it for few bucks a week, it sure could also work for RISE.
10439  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ONLINE GAMBLING WILL BE BANNED IN THE PHILIPPINES on: July 08, 2016, 07:09:23 PM
Well online gambling is illegal in the United states but you still see people from there using those sites. Just because they say it is banned doesn't mean people won't still use those sites. Come on now!  Angry
It is the internet after all. Unless they get smart and block all the sites from the country just like China has with google at a time before.  Roll Eyes
Lol i never knew that online gambling is really forbidden in the U.S,but thank's a lot Cerberus, now i know thanks to you!
Actually i would never though that U.S would implement something stupid like that but well... what can i do Sad

Not all states though.
US law will actually find these individuals same thing as how they find those who download stuff illegally as far as i know.
This is why you see users here are using VPN to conceal their IPs to which they can be traced as to where they are from.
10440  Other / Archival / Re: [PRE-ANN] BluMedEX | PRE-ICO | Early Investors Program | Community Based on: July 08, 2016, 06:10:02 PM
You should check us out then https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/

Anyway my point is, we have not been contacted about this project, we don't know anything about it.

I now know why i never heard of your site, because it looks bullshit that we need to login to see the market.

This ICO via escrow or direct to Dev wallet?

No.  Looks like it goes directly into their wallet for the pre-ico.  Main ico will be on Bittrex even thought the team don't know how to get an ico on Bitrex and haven't bothered asking them yet.  They were asking how to do it on here.

lol i guess they're still in the process.  the project seem real good actually if it weren't for those exchanges, ico price, escrow and the premine.
OP can still fix this if he really want to proceed to get funds.

lol your kidding right? cryptopia has been around longer than you have been on this forum you noob.
ANY hero or legend can vouch cryptopia been around for years. they are awesome site just dont get the attention of other major exchanges
they have mining pools, marketplaces, multiple pair markets, and they add new coins with little hassle most of the time
you sir, are a noob here and this project sounds just right for people like you actually, have fun!

Well i don't know that site. I'm a noob yes but whoever knew that site knew it.  i don't think that site ever get to mentioned a lot of times in trading section.
You know whats being mentioned all the time? look at my sig.
