10421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2018 - What are your thoughts? on: May 25, 2018, 10:01:19 PM
I would like to see and read the translation of that article.
I myself wanted to translate the part and put a link to the source. But unfortunately, Medium removed the content. If will be still interesting articles, I will keep it in the archive. Sad
Oh, that was very unfortunate.

If you are able to recover and save the archive post it here so that I can read that article which can boost not only me in terms of remaining optimistic on the market but to encourage my friends who are upset right now.
10422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrencies are complicating the market on: May 25, 2018, 09:43:59 PM
The people from the bank will have the same statement on how crypto is complicating the market, on how crypto's are risky and so on. They will never say as of the moment that crypto's are beneficial to the people who are striving to get success, why? They are the only ones that wanted to succeed in terms of reading the market.
Crypto's are pulling their potential investors so that will be obvious to have that statement to avoid such incidents to let most of their previous investors, depositors.
10423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Illegal stuffs must be discouraged done by cryptos. on: May 25, 2018, 09:29:16 PM
In recent time so many illegal stuffs or deals are done by using cryptocurrency. I think it’s killing the industry.
If you'll go back the time when bitcoin wasn't adopted by most, it all started in the deep web where its transactions are mostly with illegal stuffs. It didn't killed bitcoin but it's the start although we are in the new beginning where it's now on the mainstream, I think people from there are using something new or they are still relying to bitcoin - I don't know.

And will drastically reduce the popularity. So we, all involved in the industry, should be aware to avoid any misleading and illegal activities done by cryptos.
It's not new and this is the reason why some countries doesn't have the appetite to adopt crypto's because they only think that it's main use is to purchase illegal things.
Don't worry as fiat money is also use in that way.

Great news, if this will also be reported on mass media like television then the skeptics about crypto's will change their minds and belief.

But i believe this is one milestone for every filipino and must be proud of the international company are investing and supporting our country towards future of this great crypto community
Not only for the Filipino's but for the whole crypto community as well.

Getting more investors to invest is a hard thing to do and giving their eyes to a specific place to start their own operation is already a success for the country. But it's not only beneficial for the country but for the crypto market as well, giving idea to the people who lack of knowledge on how crypto and blockchain can be included to real businesses.
10425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: coin is meaningless on: May 25, 2018, 09:02:04 PM
~snip~
Thanks...sorry i'm new in coin world, let alone in bounty.
during this coin that I get only from airdrop and it was very little, more sadly coin a little too low price too, this is what makes me confused let alone I have not experience to buy coin
Don't expect that you'll get that much coin in airdrops, it's just a simple reward and part of their marketing as giving the people a free taste of their coins.

Many bounty hunters are just selling those coins before it drops and just jump to another bounty where they can get another token. What you guys are doing is also rewarding for yourselves but you are coming to the point that you are dependent on it and your expectations are going up.

If you haven't experienced to buy a coin, use an exchange or buy from someone.
10426  Economy / Economics / Re: Wise thing to do with your savings. on: May 25, 2018, 08:47:47 PM
That's also me before when I found out about the time deposit offers of the bank but after conducting a research and inquiry to the bank personnel, they discourage me to do so. They didn't told me the reason behind it so basically if you are thinking that it's profitable to put your money in a time deposit, think again. And you mentioned about emergency fund, why would put that fund on a time deposit? you know the rules when you put your money on that type of agreement.
10427  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin have more risks than benefits? on: May 25, 2018, 12:53:28 PM
Who said that? the banks? well obviously they are opposing bitcoin because it's a threat to them so it's not that really new when we hear them say that bitcoin is risky. Every cryptocurrency has their own risk and as the time is passing by bitcoin is being treated as an investment.
The article itself isn't even convincing and was lack of words.
10428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is going on actually?? on: May 25, 2018, 12:25:33 PM
Many doubtful people are keep on asking about if it's time to invest.

I'll tell you that whenever the market suffers, it's the time that you should keep your storage or wallets full with various coins that you think will eventually give you profit.

Please stop creating duplicate threads like this one.  Undecided
10429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: coin is meaningless on: May 25, 2018, 11:52:21 AM
what do you guys do if you have a lot of coin but the price is very cheap? will you buy that coin again after it hold it until the price goes up? how best do you think?
Thanks.....
I don't know why this can be a problem to you.

Just multiply the number of your coins with its current price. There's no need to ask what if the price is very cheap then just buy if the price is cheap and it doesn't matter if you hold a lot of coin. An investor knows what he is buying and what are the coins that has the potential.

The logic is don't sell if you are not comfortable and you are not yet in profit.

10431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HODL is the only policy. on: May 25, 2018, 10:28:46 AM
Market is fluctuating today a lot . But I hope it will not continue. So I am applying HODL at this moment.
I really care a lot when the market fluctuates that much but my principle is as long as I'm holding, there's no harm in it so you are doing the right thing.
What is your policy at this current market volatility?
As long as I can endure the pain, it's fine to hold and if there's no need to sell, why would I sell?
I only sell if there's something that I want to buy at the expense of some of my holdings.
10432  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If there is life, there is hope on: May 25, 2018, 09:48:29 AM
Don't also let the crowd of negativity drive you down, they are also leading each holder to have the portion of their negative energy. Don't listen to FUD, all of what they are saying will just discourage every crypto investor.
This is the root cause when the market is playing bad, these people who are doing their job of spreading lies and bad news are coming out to add the impact of the red market.
10433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2018 - What are your thoughts? on: May 25, 2018, 09:16:22 AM
I would like to see and read the translation of that article.

1. This is why the market is unfair for the new projects that are coming out. There are good projects that aren't noticed although they are proposing it the nice way and the content of their proposal looks interesting and does really have the guts to compete the market but because of circumstances such as lack of budget, they never have a way to advertise it.
2. That's a fact, most of the new investors doesn't see the technology, the future and what they are investing. As long as they can see that they can take profit on it, they don't care about the things I mentioned.
10434  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance Academy on: May 25, 2018, 08:49:59 AM
Do you think people will use this servce/pay attention to it?
Those people who doesn't have time to research on their own and can't type of search engines the things that they don't understand in cryptocurrency.
To the interested parties out there, it looks like there's a competition about this announcement.

10435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Experience on: May 25, 2018, 07:31:35 AM
I've learned a lot of things in the forum such as trading, holding, being calm when the market isn't doing well.

This isn't the right section for your topic, move it to Beginners & Help.
10436  Economy / Speculation / Re: What are the impactors of Bitcoin price? on: May 25, 2018, 06:53:26 AM
1. Law of supply and demand. (Number of bitcoins in the market and in circulation)
That seems to be the majority of what accounts for price fluctuations.
Yep majority as is.

factors that greatly affect the price of bitcoin is the demand factor. where as more and more bitcoins are used then the price will increase and as fewer are attracted to bitcoin the price will decrease. that's why the bitcoin price always fluctuates every time.
Correct, if the demand goes high and people are buying bitcoin then it makes the price fluctuates higher. But expect that this won't last as there will be swings that will come. If bitcoin won't fluctuate or it will only move with a positive line, it won't be the best coin of all.
10437  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why some people treat BTC as ponzi scheme? on: May 25, 2018, 06:33:41 AM
I really wonder to some people who think bitcoin is a ponzi scheme. It has made so many people rich and doing better till now.
But I don't understand the reason behind this type of thought?
It's due to some of the coins that projected their scammy behavior such as bitconnect.

And you know that once the people see something similarity and they'll compare it to each other as the same thing, they'll think of it as one. Bitconnect scammed, others are thinking that bitconnect = bitcoin so it was affected on what bitconnect did.

Another thing is when others doesn't have an idea on what bitcoin, they'll categorized it as scam.
10438  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: who is bitcoin.com ??????????? on: May 25, 2018, 01:42:05 AM
As far as I know there is no bitcoin.com its bitcointalk.org I not pretty much sure about it but so far I didn't heard about it.
There is bitcoin.com and it doesn't really support bitcoin now as it's shifted and more focused with their own fork altcoin which is bitcoin cash as stated above, owned by Roger Ver.

Don't visit that website and warn your friends who are newbie to bitcoin, it is deceiving the newcomers for telling bitcoin cash is the real bitcoin which is very wrong.

Bitcoin is the only real, genuine bitcoin and there's no any other coin that is real bitcoin.
10439  Economy / Speculation / Re: What are the impactors of Bitcoin price? on: May 25, 2018, 01:11:27 AM
1. Law of supply and demand. (Number of bitcoins in the market and in circulation)
2. Volume of trades
3. News
4. Speculations
5. Whales manipulation

Almost the same factors with the others in my own point, these are the things that what gives bitcoin a wave for its price.
10440  Economy / Speculation / Re: Current steady growth will result in $20K by end of August? on: May 25, 2018, 12:23:18 AM
I can't compare why you would end up speculating by the month of August and you jump off there from April.

But my point on this one, the strong for this month which is $8,000 has been broken and teared off to $7,500 which made many to be disappointed. The flow of the market is totally unpredictable but what I'm holding right now is what goes up should go down and what goes down should go up. ( I got this someone from FB).
