10461  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This School Accepts Bitcoin ! on: November 21, 2016, 11:34:12 AM
We have also the same feature like that in our country but in a different way. It's not a direct payment to a school but can be done by using local exchange services.

One of the local exchanges here in our country has a service of using our bitcoin in paying bills payment and that includes tuition fees in selected popular universities here. Right now only 3 universities is on the list and IIRC since the commencement of operations of this local exchange, no additional universities has been added since then.
10462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: cryptocurrency wallet websites on: November 21, 2016, 11:06:14 AM
Hi

for bitcoin there are many wallet provider eg. blockchain. info coinbase e.t.c

please tell me best wallet provider websites for followings

Ethereum (ETH)

Ethereum Classic (ETC)

Ripple (XRP)

Litecoin (LTC)

Monero (XMR)

Dash (DASH)

regards

You can find details here:

Ethereum - https://www.ethereum.org/
                https://www.myetherwallet.com/

Ethereum Classic - http://classicetherwallet.com/#generate-wallet

Litecoin - https://litecoin.org/

Monero - https://getmonero.org/

Dash - https://www.dash.org/wallet/

Ripple - don't have an idea

Lightweight version can be found by searching that term in any search engine and cryptocurrency forums. Others are using exchange wallets too but it's not recommended obviously if it's meant for storage purposes. They are just using exchange wallets since they have an active trades on a certain exchange site and to be able to act quickly when there is an ongoing large price movement.
10463  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: November 21, 2016, 04:32:22 AM
Steve Kerr is on fire.......about complaints in the officiating lol.

The focused of his criticism is when DeMar Derozan appeared to get away with the travelling penalty in their recent game against the Toronto Raptors. Well as usual, public complaints = fine and no one will get away from that.

http://sports.yahoo.com/news/steve-kerr-complains-about-the-nbas-nightly-blooper-reel-of-missed-traveling-calls-185442220.html

I saw that and he did got away with the traveling. Anyhow, that's how the game works, missed calls are gone, and you can't do anything about it.

Just wondering now how far Steve Kerr rage will spread out in the news if in that said game against the Raptors they lost. I understand his sentiment but Kerr must act professionally without harming the league reputation although there are really some missed calls that is happening even in the past.

Anyways in their early game, Milwaukee Bucks really gave them a hard time to sealed a win. Really a close game one especially on the last minutes of the game. GSW now improved their record at 10-2 and a 7 game winning streak.
10464  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Whats the most you have made from a casino investment? on: November 21, 2016, 04:21:49 AM
So I've been investing in many sites over the last year since i joined bitvest and have found many to be profitable.

I'm wondering what everyone else has done in 2016 or since you started with casino investments.

My questions to you:

How much have you made so far investing in casinos?

What site would you recommend to you closest friends?

What do you feel is a smart amount to invest in a bitcoin based gambling casino?

When do you feel the best time to pull out your investment is?

Profits I got by investing in a gambling sites bankroll is really not that interesting when pointing to long term investment purposes. I currently have an active investment in just-dice (clams) for more than a year now and the profits I got there is really dissapointing so I decided not to pullout my funds there and just let it sleep. And months ago I pullout my funds at Moneypot which doesn't give me a decent return. Im planning now to test the investment here in my signature and see how it goes.

For a friends recommendation, Im not that guy who will recommend a site for investment but rather will give them some choices.
10465  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Circle CEO on BTC: Nobody Will Be Using Bitcoin in 5 to 10 Years on: November 21, 2016, 04:00:05 AM
This was earlier posted and discussed in our one of social media groups and for me it's just a FUD. There was already a numerous times when those experts claimed that bitcoin will be doomed nor can't be widely used worldwide.

"Our view is that we’re still in the really early stages of the technology and its development. It’s highly unlikely that any of us will be using Bitcoin in five or ten years"

- development means continous and no one can predict accurately what will be the exact output to happen

“It’s useful if you’re a gambler, tax evader… All these things, but if you actually want to do something that increases utility value for consumers [and] businesses [and is] sort of focused on increasing the productivity and efficiency of how the economic system works, that’s a different design center than how to basically avoid taxes and government oversight”

- If bitcoin will become more developed as years passes by, there will be so called regulations that will implement. And besides bitcoin doesn't  have tax directly but legit local exchanges does have so it's like paying tax on a different view.
10466  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Neobux - my way. Will be sucessful? on: November 21, 2016, 01:09:33 AM
I have noticed that they are offering 216 ads all $0.005 each for the last couple of months.
So if you click those ads everyday that is $1.08 per day.
For those that haven't used it for a while should give it a try again.
Where you saw these stats of ads? Because I always getting ~30 ads, each worth $0.001. Maybe amount and price of ads depends on geolocation?
Same. I'm getting ~20 ads worth $0.001 and I know, it's totally dependent on Geolocation. Services and Surveys provided to you based on your country. So, unless you are from a Tier A country, you can't make any money using Neobux.

I don't even think so that for a Tier A country they will have an exposure of 216+ ads. And to think that no much Neobux users now these days, I didn't think they will offered a number of clickable ads like that for $0.005 each.

Im lurking at their forum now and didn't see an info about that numbers or any related topic even the poster above told us it's just last couple of months.

Ok that is why then and I have invested $143 into it thus far. That is probably why then.
I am in a Tier 1 country of Canada. That could be the influence on the number of ads too.

Yeah that has an influenced but also not that much. Anyways what type of membership you have? You actually experienced that number of ads?
10467  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling destroyed me....advice me what to do now..? on: November 20, 2016, 11:55:26 PM
Gambling has slowly destroyed my life and I am in worst situation now.In past I had lost about 20-25k usd in the gambling about one year ago and my family known because that addiction I started stealing things from my house.
My parents stopped talking with me and I had to face many bad times,no body was trusting me after that. But in one year I slowly got their trust back.
After few weeks there is my sister's marriage and my parents given Me about 1500USD to deposit in bank account and they said use them in some expenses to be managed by me.But now my gambling addiction I lost all of them again.
I am in huge trouble now I don't have anywhere to go.Sometimes thinking I should commit suicide but I want to live my life. But now if my parents know which they will in some time, they cannot face that specially my father who is a kidney patient under dialysis and already alot of Tension with them due to sisters marriage and my father's health.
What can I do please tell me I promised my self that I will not gamble again just god give me one last chance
Please help me with your advise and only genuine person post who are giving advice from their heart.

A big loss is enough for people to stop doing gambling. $20k-$25k is not a joke amount.

There is 2 possible outputs whenever people loss too much while doing gambling; one is to stopped since they already experienced too much losses and another one is to chase all the losses which is not a good idea.

If in people's case that they want to chase the loss then it will just put a person in too so much pressured to gain all the losses. That pressure will result them another round of so much losses.

You able to post like that meaning you are still thinking. Talk to your family and tell them everything. They are the ones who can help you most since family is the great foundation of our life. Good luck.
10468  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tell us How You bet On Dice on: November 20, 2016, 11:48:56 PM
If someone is betting on dice websites then i would like to hear what base bet , Multiplier , and other stuff related to it...
Also tell us the most successful strategy you think in gambling .... But please don't say Only Luck works in gambling... I have heard it more than thousand times  Grin

You want another thousand times of "luck" sayings again? If there's a succesful strategy then you are saying that we can beat the house on the long run which is quite not possible.

Base Bet = From the word itself "base". The amount set as a starting point for doing an auto bet.

Multiplier = You will know this obviously once you do a dice game. No need for further explanation.

10470  Other / Off-topic / Re: Your biggest mistake ! on: November 20, 2016, 11:05:00 PM
We all made mistakes in bitcoin, either trading, investing, coding.

Other than not buying bitcoin at 0.01$ per coin when it started, what is your biggest mistake you did ?

I don't ever consider as a mistake if a person isn't able to bought bitcoins at any cheap rates it was passed since after all we didn't know what will be the price of it later. I considered that as a regret instead and to cope up with that regrets we have to act the moment we think the price is right to buy coins and "face all the possible risks" after putting money on this crypto.

Majority of bitcoin mistakes activity are those things that we already know what will be the possible output, at least, e.g investing on a ponzi or cloudmining scheme, putting money on web wallets, exchange site activities etc. Some mistakes are also human errors, like sending to a wrong wallet address, not enhancing the security of the coins, lost backup etc.

10473  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] Would you open a Bitcoin account at your local bank? on: November 09, 2016, 04:11:52 PM
This would take away from anonymity, but may help the overall ecosystem because existing members may be influenced into moving some of their funds into BTC accounts. Also, what would happen if the bank ran full nodes? Offered BTC debit cards, credit cards, and loans?

I see some pointless comments here. It's fine that a person is not favor to this but make a reasonable reason. Literally opening bitcoin account in a bank if ever that is possible is just meant for comfortability service. There are benefits of course. Sucks to see "Im not storing coins at bank" "I can be my own bank" etc. It's not the point. Why in the first place will you do save coins at the bank? Just use their service. The maintaining balance if ever you have a bank account is not that high depends on the bank. Also do you think your BTC1 saved at a reputable bank will be a reason for banks to make them fraud? Banks are complying with the law and regulations of a certain country so if ever there is a fraud, customers are not left crying.

And this is a good idea to me since ATM's are spread out. If ever bitcoin account is possible in the bank I can take advantage of that because I know there will be an additional option now at ATM to withdraw bitcoin. Good for emergencies when there is no internet connection available.
10474  Other / Meta / Re: [Help] How to locate all posts of a certain user in a single thread? on: November 09, 2016, 09:25:30 AM
I don't know if this is possible so bear with my ignorance.

Just want to know if there's a way I can find all post of a specific user in a single thread? Just want to do something since there's something I want to know. Kinda difficult and hassle to do it manually since there are already lots of post after a certain post I want to checked.

Thanks.

Will lock this thread once I get the answer.

Quick and dirty:

#1 Open print view of the thread (top right corner)
#2 ctrl + f for the username

Suggoii. Smiley Really an awesome way. Less hassle compare to my only known way which is manually seek it by page lol.

Thanks so much you. You minimized my work.

What a shocking win for Donald Trump. Smiley

Like I said, it's not a wiser way to put all balls for Clinton since it's a must that you have to put a decent amount to feel the profits. Covering the low odds is kinda annoying to me.

Well congrats to those who pick for Trump. Wondering who else here goes for a big amount for Clinton.

10477  Economy / Economics / Re: why is it so hard to buy bitcoin on: November 08, 2016, 07:03:21 PM
I have not really bought any bitcoin in a while, i have been mostly trading this last year.  but i have been trying to buy today from localbitcoins and bittylicious and it has been a real challenge.  they want photos of me holding cards on localbitcoins and on bitty they need about 4 different forms of id, what is going on.

this is seriously restrictive to anyone wanting to get into bitcoin,  like its meant to be pseudonymous but if the gate ways into bitcoin dont allow that people will be put off.    Huh

It's normal for some local exchanges to have at least some infos about theirs client since money is involved and not just the bitcoin currency. And it's also a part of their terms in complying the rules and regulations of a certain law about financial thing. It's common.

Why not try instead to other exchanges that support your country? See if it's less hassle compare to those exchanges you mentioned. From what country you from?
10478  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could there be a law on stolen bitcoins? on: November 08, 2016, 06:52:54 PM
Could there be a law on stolen bitcoins? What if there would be a law punishing those who steal bitcoins and those people behind scam sites? And if so, is it necessary to have such law? I'm just wondering, if there would be such law about stolen bitcoins, it could be a big relief to us bitcoin users. But then, there are so many questions and issues that goes with this ideal that makes me skeptical about it.  Huh Undecided

By any means, if an exchange site is a registered company, meaning personal infos of the owners and it's staff are being presented to the government then they are facing the laws under money regulation of a certain country and they have to comply with it. Obviously if they will turned to a fraud one, authorities will seek them.

But you know majority of people that preferred bitcoin because of that freedom thing must take care of their coins by themselves and don't blame anyone why it got steal. They want a full extent of freedom of using bitcoin outside the government premises but asking for a law about stolen coins? It doesn't make sense since for government to truly pass a law about stolen coins, bitcoin must be regulated first which others don't like. They must deal with it.
10479  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: November 08, 2016, 06:39:58 PM
After a 0-5 loss and one of the worst season starter record of the Dallas Mavericks, they got their first win recently against the Milwaukee Bucks. Now they are facing the Los Angeles Lakers which currently has a perfect home record.

As a part of my support to my fave team Mavs, I will put a fair amount to them with the odds of @2 and hoping for more slight increase before the game starts. Still believes that defense is the great offense.
10480  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which Trading Books Have You Read, Have They Helped You? on: November 08, 2016, 05:51:02 PM
I've only read two books regarding trading, I think for the most part they somewhat helped me create a good mindset when trading, but I feel as if I learned the most through trial and error.

The books I've read are 'Trading in the Zone' and 'Harmonic Trading Vol 1'

What books have you read to get better at trading? Did they actually help you?

None of the book or articles about trading I read so far. What I do is to learn the basic knowledge and considered that as a startup point. Once learning those basic knowledge, I automatically learned other things by improving those basics into an average one then so on up to the point I have learned from now. Also I currently joined in a trading local group in a social media that somehow teaches me when Im still a trading newbie. Thanks to them.

Reading trading books is a good reference for traders wanna be. Although please remember that advices, recommendations and suggestions that you will encountered there are not meant for just reading only but do it also on actual trades.
