Since I'm in the preliminary 4 day wait for the $1 worth of btc I just set to order, I can't make ANY further purchase, right? I can't go ahead and start a new order for a new amount?

Am I really going to be forced to wait another 30 days before I purchase again?

Clarification?

Where are you purchasing your coins? Probably some exchange?
Maybe youd rather meet with someone in person and pay cash. You should probably buy a little over 1$ worth though Wink

Ram mining? Maybe with another algo that dosent need cpu just ram

No no no no no!!!

RAM can never do a calculation. It is a memory unit not a logic or arithmetic unit. Paper can not do the calculation it can only safe it.

10487  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The homeless child experiment on: April 05, 2014, 03:50:57 PM
You just see this to often in big cities. People begging with their infant children and/or dogs, people without legs sitting on the floor, their wheelchair hidden in the bush. I have seen those "poor poor" beggas stand up, change their clothes and just walk away. Some are even organized. Everyone has a place in crowded streets and in the evening when the stores close, they all get picked up by the same bus. Begging is a job in big cities.

The only people that still get money from me on the streets are people that rob me (obviously), make music or some sort of art or punks (they just buy alcohol with it, they dont lie about it if I ask and are usually very nice and happy).
10488  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: RAM mining? on: April 05, 2014, 03:04:43 PM
Is funny to see how sometimes Bitcoin forum community is suffering from ignorance.
-snip-

The DIMMs are not used to calculate anything. Yes there are systems that have some sort CPU (does the calculation) and a lot of DIMMs (they hold the results) to brute force. But that does not mean the DIMMs are doing any sort of calculation. Thats like saying your paper does the calculation when you just write it there while you do the calculation.

greedy people will still stole something even if its 1 cent
Hmm i'll try to be more conscious, and will suggest you to do it too ..!

im using iphone how the fuck they can install keylogger on my phone? Grin
or they can?
hopefuly they are not Smiley

If you didnt jailbreak it and you only install software from the official store you are pretty safe. Not 100% but close enough. The question is: if you didnt jailbreak it, you would not be using it for Bitcoins since Apple does not like them for some reason (are they afraid?). So I assume you did a jailbreak. In that case, be very carefull what you let on your phone. Without the jailbreak apple does all the checking for you, with the jailbreak you have to check the software yourself. For most people this is impossible.
Oh... and even without jailbreak, apple might install a keylogger, just because, you know, for marketing, just in case... phones, cant trust them.

i did jailbreak it before when im in ios 6.something my phone has restored last few weeks and it became ios 7 now and im using it right now
how the hell they dont like bitcoin? i mean there is a few application from apps store which is related to BTC like bitcoin comunity and many more

I dont know why, all I know is that they removed all bitcoin wallets from their AppStore.

http://www.pcworld.com/article/2095060/apple-removes-blockchain-last-bitcoin-wallet-app-from-mobile-store.html

They still allow stuff that is related but not "handling" bitcoins. So you can watch charts and forums etc, but you cant store coins on your iPhone without a jailbreak.

if i spend a few thousand of my current BTC to build a time machine, go back to 2009 and kill Satoshi to prevent him from creating Bitcoin, would I still be rich today to invent the time machine?

No you would be in prison.

OK then, change of plans. Maybe I won't kill him. Just be nice with him and probably get him a free lunch (pun intended) and tell him how nice BTC was, so he would donate some BTC. Not a big deal for him, because those would be worth pennies at the time.

Every little thing you change in the past will change the future. It would not be the same world.

Hi, faucets will take down the bad road... .01 BTC is 4$ - simply buy it.

Where's the fun in that?  Roll Eyes

Besides.. Why would I spend money to buy money?

Well you wont get money for free either.

Try this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=556165.0
There are several people that pay you a bit for using their referal link. Not sure if this one is legit, but it hes a Hero Member with good rep. I signed up. You will get .001 so you are 10% there.

Keep beeing active on the forum for a chance to earn money with your signature.

Also there are some casinos that allow you to be the bank, maybe that will work for you? The income depends on the money you invest though, but with .001 you might get as much as from a faucet without beeing bothered to check every now and again.

Edit: Also keep your eyes open, I remember there was someone asking a question in "services" and was paying ~0.01 for the answer. Even though I and several others couldnt get an answer he still payed each of us the full amount.
10497  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: when do you get charged for bitcoins? on: April 04, 2014, 06:13:07 PM
I think what you are talking about is the transaction fee.

Its a little fee that goes to the miners who mine the 1st block that confirms your transaction. Since there is a limited supply of bitcoins you need a reason for the miners to continue mining. Thus there is a fee for each transaction, the person who sends the coins pays it. With QT it is 0.0001 at the moment I think. With several other clients you dont have to pay this fee, but if you dont pay the fee the miners not put your transaction into a new block and thus the coins will never reach their goal.
10498  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is that video explanation of bitcoin beginners friendly enough? on: April 04, 2014, 01:56:01 PM
#1 You are not a beginner! Smiley

Yes and I dont understand it, that should ring your alarmbells.

A well, maybe someone who knows less can tell you what they think about the video.

Basiclly if you cant beat this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Um63OQz3bjo

#1 why is her voice offsync?

#2 until 0:50 nothing usefull is said, imho. I dont know why you would list missconceptions

#3 everything after that I didnt understand after watching it once and I think I know how bitcoins work. Maybe you should keep it simple without the examples and that strange "token" idea.
