10501  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Used a Bitcoin ATM in a gas station today on: November 03, 2016, 06:34:10 PM

I saw this in other forum according to them this bitcoin ATM is in makati.. i want to go there just to test it and i think we are in new generation we are experience of adoption with bitcoin here in my country. and i hope they can increase more atm in philippines so that i dont need to go in other banks atm to withdraw bitcoins.

It's just along  Makati Avenue, Makati City. Smiley You are from Pasig right? Just 2 rides.

Nice information there. My workplace is on Jupiter St near the building of Diamond Fire store. Im not aware that there is a bitcoin ATM nearby here. Where is the exact location of this? Hopefully Makati Ave along Buendia but anyways if it's on the other side, still it's near. I want to check it and see the features of the machine.

Hopefully when I got there, there is people who is using it the moment I arrive. If ever that will happen, this is the first time in my whole bitcoin life that I meetup a stranger that knows bitcoin.

It's on Sunette Tower Hotel along Makati Ave. If you are on Jupiter St. then just go to the road going to Poblacion. Smiley

Turned right before the City Garden Hotel and head straight then you will see the Condo Suites. Just don't know the exact location of the machine since I myself hasn't visited it yet. Hope you grab some nice pics of it and post it here. Smiley
10502  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Going all in on a Hillary win bet on: November 03, 2016, 06:12:54 PM
Anyone else has the courage to go all in on Hillary? By all in I mean betting ALL of your bitcoins for a win.

There's some people that's doing this. They are literally going bet all of their bitcoins because they are convinced the election is rigged and Trump cannot win, why not go all in then? Maybe this is a rare opportunity to make a lot of money. Im thinking about it but I don't think I have the balls.

Odds are low so if ever a person wants to win a decent one by betting on Hillary, they should have to put a decent amount to feel the profits. Really has a high chance but it doesn't mean it has 100% chance.

Much better if they will play with the other betting options like doing a parlay. It's more wiser than putting all their balls on Hillary's win. Also gamblers must take note that Hillary's lead over Donald Trump continues to narrow meaning the scandal is really a big deal and can effect the output of the upcoming Presidential election.
10503  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: November 03, 2016, 05:40:47 PM
I already posted here about multiple times I guess some updates to trade rumors regarding Golden State Warrior's Klay Thompson.

The latest about this trade rumor and already being discussed in some of the NBA forums and social medias is the Golden State Warriors will send Klay Thompson and Kevon Looney to the Milwaukee Bucks in exchange for  Jabari Parke and Khris Middleton. Yes it's a 4 player deal.

Still following the updates since Celtics is also interested in Klay Thompson.

Will Klay leave the GSW? Stay tuned.
10504  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: C-CEX.COM Authorization Failed Email on: November 02, 2016, 01:52:56 PM
Thanks for the response and I appreciated it.

Just wondering how those people involved able to know the list of possible username/s in that exchange since like I mentioned, Im just logging in using my PC at home.

My account there is somehow secure based on my own way of securing it and the only way to wreck my account there is the site itself will turned to a fraud.

I had this similar problem and did the same. It seems that OP's email was among one of the emails used in a brute force attack hence the email. I also changed my password and enabled my 2FA. Enabling it would significantly improve the security of your account over there.

Probably one of the possible reason how they have some sort of usernames.
10505  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Investing in Gambling Sites on: November 02, 2016, 01:18:45 PM
Hi ! I would like to know what are the risks involved in investing in gambling sites like moneypot or other cryto casinos. Do people profit in the long run ? And what is an estimated amount of profit generated by it ?

Risk? They can take away your investment anytime once they turned to fraud. A reputable one doesn't mean they are safe. Since your coins are in their possession, you don't own it.

Estimated profit are vary depending on a gambling site's computation. At least they should have a description about that. For a long run, yes I see it's profitable since house always wins. The concern now is the percentage you will get and how long the site will run.
10506  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: November 02, 2016, 01:09:32 PM

Just in case Chris Paul decided to go back to New Orleans to play with Anthony Davis?

Wouldn't it be a better situation for him, knowing Anthony Davis is the next big thing since LeBron  Grin

Anthony Davis is a monster player and I don't know what is future plan of Pelicans in their roster. They are obviously wasting the efforts of this player in every game. His stats is really incredible in all games they played since the season starts up and for sure Davis will soon demand for a trade. Davis needs some enough production around him which Pelicans is lacking at the moment.

Anthony Davis may be a supreme talent, but he needs the Pelicans to help him win
10507  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How does bitcoin ATM going to affect bitcoin? on: November 02, 2016, 12:30:43 PM
I am wondering if there are a lot of bitcoin ATM spread around in your country, how will it affect to bitcoin, will it attract more user, will it boost bitcoin reputation, or will it provoke the government for banned the coin? because as we know bitcoin also give freedom to money laundry, and other illegal transaction

How it will affect to bitcoin usage? First of all it's another form of advertisement, at least. Now depend on the users if they will seek information about it. In our central business area here in our country, and I posted it here a while ago, there was an active bitcoin ATM. Well since that is central business area, there are lots of banks ATM spread out throughout the city around that bitcoin ATM so nothing change and I think some people don't bother to seek information what bitcoin is.

It's really depend on people's response. About that banning the bitcoin if ever a usage will be more presently with the use of Bitcoin ATM, I see no sense about that as long as all people concerned and involved in that bitcoin ATM service are complying with the law and pays taxes properly.
10508  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Pacquiao Vs Vargas on: November 02, 2016, 11:04:17 AM

I hope so too. But after his disappointing fight versus Mayweather, I am not as excited as I was before with watching his fights. I also read the news that he is now a senator of the Philippines so this leads me to believe that he might be fighting more for the money now than the pride. He probably himself knows that he should have retired from boxing 2 years ago.

Fighting more for the money? We can't say that or even have a final conclusion about that. Manny Pacquaio's money are distributed well in all aspects so I can't say he is fighting for money reasons. That is a shit reason to him. He cares for money but not to the point he will save it forever. Didn't you know how well the poor province of Saranggani at least improve their lives there during his term? He is using his own money to build facilities there. And even some portions of his earning during Mayweather fight where distributed in the charities.

He came back to boxing because it's hard for him to just left the world of boxing. At young age, he is already in the boxing world and this kind of sports lift them up from the poor status.

If you are not excited then he doesn't care at all. Majority of Filipino will still watch the fight eventhough some of them are critics.
10509  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: November 01, 2016, 05:47:30 PM

No Duncan? No problem they have Gasol and LA, that two are making the roaster great this season, they are very tough in defense and it is not a surprise that they have a better record now in the west. They will surely route again the warriors if two will face again.

They are playing in a different level now.

The sayings of "When someone/something is passing by or gone, something new comes and it becomes better." is not true.

Because no one can never ever replace Tim Duncan with his position in the team.

Even though there are a lot of new players such as Gasol and La, Spurs without Tim Duncan is still different, it made a legacy.

You are not getting the picture of the statement you quoted. It's not about the legacy but more importantly Spurs must maintained their position at the boards whether for offensive and defensive one. Pau Gasol and LaMarcus Alrdige are fit for the same position that Duncan was before. Of course it doesn't mean they will replace, surpass or even make a change at what Duncan did. It's out of the context.

So you mean Spurs must always be like that when Duncan was on the floor? Make sense mate.

Sorry mate, I'm just being a fanboy of Duncan and still can't get over for his retirement with his team. I didn't say that the team must play like the way did with Duncan.

Of course for each team they have their own style, meta and strategy for each player and today it is different.

I am just wishing that Spurs would able to make it for this season.

Don't worry mate Spurs has chance to title as we never know what would happen. You see how Spurs performed well against the Golden State Warriors in their first meeting. It's not a basis that they can dominate others teams but you can see how the remaining Spurs roster really performed well that night. Kawhi Leonard is a monster and will bring the flag of this franchise. Look how monster he is in terms of scoring in their all games this season.

10511  Economy / Speculation / Re: rapidly increasing price on: November 01, 2016, 04:50:09 PM
Reasons have been extensively decided, and no precise one was found yet. However, what I can say is that someday it will fall down, that isn't a definitive rise like we saw in November 2015 and June 2016.

Past performance can't be a basis accurately for a future output especially in bitcoin price.

Fall down might not be the appropriate term but rather price decrease and it's normal that whenever there's a price increase it's always accompanied by a price decrease so obviously it will happen. We just don't know when. Like to see how the price will support it's stand at above $700. Hopefully the status of range at around $700 will be the same as the range when the price is around $600.

Looks like the trend started has been on a success. Let's see how far it will goes.
10512  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Starting BTC Casino (open for suggestions & proposals) on: November 01, 2016, 10:00:05 AM

Feel free to throw any suggestion or even business proposal Smiley

No doubt, the most effective way to gather players from a new gambling site is the interesting welcome bonuses and free deposits. Now the concern now is how they will stay again after losing those welcome bonuses or free deposits?

A reward or bonus tier depending on their deposits bets can consider.

Example:

A gambler will deposit BTC0.1 = 5 points. That points means they can do a free bet for 5 tries or 5 free turns in terms of roulettes and slots or something idea like that. On how much amount a gambler will bet for that free tries will now be studied by the gambling sites staff to make it fair to both owners and gamblers.

10514  Economy / Economics / Re: Paying taxes on forum? on: November 01, 2016, 05:33:30 AM
Do you think that people who offer some services here on forum and make money from it (like exchangin Bitcoin, offering lending services, web design, translations etc.) are also obliged to report that to their local authorities and pay tax?

No it's not. It's outside of their premises, at least. When people offers some services here in this forum, it's not necessary to report in their respective government. It's freedom.

The one that must comply with the rules and regulations about taxes or any money related terms are those local exchangers that having a business in a certain country. Since money is involved, they have to follow rules and tax are part of it.
10515  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is the best coin to buy on polo now? on: October 30, 2016, 06:20:56 AM
Poloniex is my only trading platform.at present all the altcoins in polo are experiencing a huge correction and probably are trading at their 52 week low due to the bitcoin rally.is it the correct time to double the investment to maximize the returns ?what is the best portfolio for 4btc investment?

Best would not be the appropriate term but rather something interesting to try. Those other alts can't be tagged as the best since their price is a matter of pumps and dumps. And doubling the investment doesn't have the right time but rather right tyming and ability to take a ride when there is a pumping scene.

Since Polo only listing coins that has active volumes, I suggest choosing those alts that has established a daily active volume.
10516  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What stops you from opening a local bitcoin exchange business? on: October 30, 2016, 05:43:52 AM
Besides the security issue of handling lots of money in public what's stopping people who are familiar with bitcoin from opening a 'local bitcoin guy' business charging 10-15% for changing cash into btc?  This would be the same service people list on Mycelium Local Trader and localbitcoin.com.

It's not as easy as buying candy in a store. There are lots of things people have to consider before making such business like that. First of all, they must comply with money and regulations of a certain country to make their operation legit as it involves money. Also you need a big capital here as a start and a good bunch of operational team which you will pays plus the advertisement you will make.

So for meantime, people can do a small exchange and promotes in social media. In some of our local bitcoin group, there are persons who are converting bitcoin into cash with a certain fee. Although it only has limits and can't performed a big amount conversion.
10517  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin may likely touch 728.68 before second week of November. on: October 30, 2016, 05:19:13 AM
Technical analysis shown bitcoin my likely touch 728 before second week of november. Expert in the house what are your thought?. "This forecast has not been reviewed by a professional and should not be used for making financial decisions! Past performance does not guarantee future returns!".

Likely it will obviously if the trend today will continue to more few days. Honestly if the said process I mentioned will really happen, it may touch your mentioned price in first week next month. Im not making a speculation today if pointing out to the supposedly price target at the second week of November. For now I will just watched the price and disregard all the target price. Profit taking indeed.

But as always, like you mentioned, past performance can't dictate the future returns but rather we can take it as reference in our next trading moves.
10518  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why trading is better than gambling? on: October 29, 2016, 04:43:24 PM
Hey! guys i need your opinion and help because i didn't know about this trading thing i only know about how you can earn bitcoin by gambling but still my friend told me that gambling is not the way to earn bitcoin but if you try trading you will earn much profit why is that so guys? trading is better than bitcoin? how? why? where to find that trading thing?

"trading is better than bitcoin" - typo?

Actually there are lots of related threads about that. But anyways I want to point out your statement about "the only thing you know is how to earn bitcoin by gambling". Can you elaborate this since I want to know what is your overview on gambling. You earn most of the time or that isn't what is happening?

Basically, trading obviously can give people a decent profit in the long run unlike doing gambling in the usual gambling games. Trading is a matter of buy low, sell high - sounds easy as people think that's why you will play with the market. Trading is done by bitcoin exchange services. I suggest you consult Google seach for some basic bitcoin trading terms as a start.
10519  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Almost all alts on the red due bitcoin uprise on: October 29, 2016, 03:42:59 PM
Bitcoin on its way to destroy the last ATH. We will test 778 again, then we will go straight for 1200+. Alts are going to go deep in the red for a long time now in my book with the exceptional big pump and dumps that can always happen on any random coin.

Bitcoin before surpassing the last ATH will takes time. Just because there is a price increase it doesn't mean the price will go straight there. Surely a quite average of price dump will happen. And for alts? Well it's just a scenario of pumps and dumps and this kind of situation is normal for alts.

Anyways if that is your speculation I have nothing to do with that. Let's just watch will happen.
10520  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the best way to buy Bitcoin ? on: October 29, 2016, 11:25:50 AM
Why keep on asking where he lives? He already stated that above.

Well there are lots of exchanges that support your country OP, it's up to you now where do you think comfortable at you since you found Localbitcoin are not that best for you. If your concern is about the time waiting for WTB or WTS like you are stating then just be patient since that exchange is quite trusted.

You may look here.

As the site says:

Please note: When you sent money, be it digital or crypto, you must be sure you can trust the operator/exchange. Always do your own research regarding website security and downtime.
