10521  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquaio vs. Adrien Broner on: January 19, 2019, 01:43:57 PM
Today i found interesting review on my local tv show that weakness of Manny Pacquaio sometimes he was attack without thinking of defense and tend to be careless and i think Broner can utilize this with playing more calm until Pacquaio off guard and this time i hightly doubt Pacquaio can win the fight indeed he was legend but his performance not good again such as several years ago
It's not interesting anymore if it's broadcasted on national TV. Dupee's right, his weakness has been debunk many years ago and guess what? they know and analyzes his weakness.

But when it comes to the real fight, inside the ring and during the box things do change quickly. So you bet to Broner?
10522  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many hours a day are you spending on online gambling? on: January 19, 2019, 01:01:36 PM
I don't really gamble everyday because I'm too afraid of developing a gambling addiction. I've used to have a gambling addiction but I shruged it off when I started to play more games like CS:GO or other shooters to keep me off gambling.
Like @boyptc said, once you start gambling for a longer time, the easier it is to develop a addiction to gambling.

People always say only gamble what you can afford to lose but can you really follow that guideline? Considering most addicted gamblers are poor people, they always chase their losses.
It's always easier to say it than to do it, because once you are addicted, you try to put every money you get back into gambling and then look for a way to recover or worse even try to profit in the end.
I won't get tired of telling that to those gamblers that are in the curiosity period. I'm sure that many can't follow the advice but the most important thing is that we did our part of warning them.

I was once in that situation too so I understand each hardship that the new ones will go through.

Have you used the new feature of blockchain.com's swap?

You will be asked for KYC but to the first level, there's no need for ID, just plain info. But it's just for BTC/BCH/XLM/ETH
I have blockchain but i'm not sure for use it to exchange my coins.
It's just for those specific coins and I've tried it, no problem at all.

If you happen to have not found the exchange you're looking for, you can give it a try for smaller amounts.
10524  Economy / Gambling / Re: Looking for an investor, everything is planned. on: January 19, 2019, 11:59:12 AM
The amount I'm looking for is 10.000 USD for 10% of the project. You'll get your money back in less then 3 months and you'll be able to gain profit after it.
I think that most of you here are aware when someone promises guaranteed returns with a specific timeframe should think many times before proceeding.
10525  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many hours a day are you spending on online gambling? on: January 19, 2019, 11:38:32 AM
a few hours of the week. I occasionally gamble. This is not my hobby. Some matches, or a few bets for the game. I also rarely win, but I don't lose too much money
You're still in a good state that you don't mind too much with gambling. Just keep it going and you'll not going to the point of addiction just see to it that you can monitor yourself.

There are stories like yours before and they are confident to say that they really don't gamble at all but in the end of it, when they have a lot of spare time they put it to gamble and that's the start of their story on how they became addicted.
Once I entered into gambling I do not know how much we can spend on cash you know because it is more interesting and more fun factored field gambling that's why time is not a big matter for The Gambler.
For me time is a big factor for gamblers. If you spend most of your time in gambling, you're dwelling to it and soon you are likely to become an addicted gambler.

And if you don't know how much you can spend in gambling, you don't create any plan before gambling which is a bad thing IMO. Before gambling, make sure that you're only going to gamble what you afford to lose.
I think I cannot do that, spending a lot of time in gambling gives me a higher risk, I do not want to get addicted again
that's why now I allocate my time on a more productive activity, like educating myself to my improve my skills in order to be successful in trading.
If you don't want that to happen, moderate your gambling activity and don't focus more with gambling. Spend time with some other things and dedicate only few time when you gamble.

If you will become consistent to that, I guarantee you that you're just going to gamble for fun most of the time.
10526  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which crypto job is right for you on: January 19, 2019, 11:12:32 AM
I think according to my research, and as a beginner that a Blockchain engineer is the most important and needed job, because there are many projects that are looking for these specialists. So I think it's the job of the future
IMHO, there's no such as 'most important' because most of the jobs that are related to each other has its own importance.

Like in a team, most of the companies treats each position as their tier position so every job a beginner will desire to take doesn't have to measure if its the most important or not because most of them plays an important role to a company.

Anyone seen this news?

https://news.abs-cbn.com/video/sports/01/18/19/labang-pacquiao-vs-broner-sa-las-vegas-di-pa-sold-out

The report says that the tickets hasn't sold out as compare to Pacman's previous fight. Is this the sign that boxing fans is not interested or Pacman drawing power is dwindling?
I don't really pay attention to this.

Tickets are just the front of each game, there's even bigger money that's at stake for the gamblers that are going to bet on this fight. I'm not fully knowledgeable to it and I just heard it before which I can't recall anymore the exact details.
10528  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do some people refuse to accept bitcoin? on: January 19, 2019, 09:51:32 AM
I'll put my shoe to the people that don't want to buy bitcoin. The very reason is that most of them are scared of it to fluctuate to the point that they don't like.

Most of them knew that the price went to $20,000 and went down to $3,200 so at this point, they aren't willing to put that much money and risk it knowing that it can go lower.
10529  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 773 Million Hacked User Accounts are being traded on underground forums on: January 19, 2019, 09:21:01 AM
I've used HIBP and for the very first start of the year my email was pwned and it's the 4th time.

The site might look innocent and helpful, but it might be more sinister than that. Let's dissect my statement and explain it a little bit further. The moment when you query a email address, it flags that email address in their database as one that are active and possibly one that has some significant value to them.

They might have a database of email addresses that are used, but they do not have the passwords or it might never have been hacked. They just want to know which of those addresses are still active and has some value for their owners, so that they have good victims to target.

Nothing in life is FREE, everything come at a price.  Angry
This is the truth, every time you are curious checking your email if its pwned or not, they get the benefit whether that email was pwned or not.

Yes they are so strict that even below legal age is really not allowed.
They are not strict, it's the law that they shouldn't allow someone under legal age to get in to the casino.
10532  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's kick some bear ass on January 30th! on: January 18, 2019, 10:15:59 PM
There's no need to tell each holder what to do. A responsible and wise holder will definitely going to buy the dip without the approval of others and bitcoin doesn't need to have this kind of pump and dump advice.

Everyone is free to do what they want but let themselves decide what to do.
10533  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptopia exchange hacked on: January 18, 2019, 09:07:01 PM
It is sad , I pity those fund that involved , that is why it is advisable not to keep coin u are not selling on exchange , better to get an offline wallet to avoid story that touched
While CZ saved and frozen all of those reported fund that went to Binance.

He adviced the other thing, I wont keep any good amount of crypto to any exchange. And Ive been doing this for years, thanks to the advice of people here who have been quite awhile in the forum.
10534  Economy / Speculation / Re: Cryptopia Hacked. Will BTC Crash? on: January 18, 2019, 02:39:32 PM
There's almost no effect to the prices after the report that cryptopia was hacked. And I think it because of the quick tracking of where the funds went.

Good thing that Binance was able to freeze those funds that were transferred to them.
10535  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain values to maintain in 2019 on: January 18, 2019, 12:52:19 PM
what is the purpose of the use blockchain
You can use google for clearer and simpler answer.

Anyway, the purpose of it is to make sure that data are stored properly on a public storage which cant be edited by anyone. And transactions that happens on the blockchain are much faster. It gives transparency. There will be some other explanations out there if you google it.

10538  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Hodler wallet on: January 18, 2019, 10:32:05 AM
Do you have anything to do with that wallet? E.g: you are a dev, a friend of a dev, someone from the team, etc...

If you are, it's better if you just disclose it now.

I just checked your post history and looks like you talk A LOT about this wallet. So, you don't sound like a regular costumer "wanting to find out more" about the wallet.
You made me check his history too and I confirm what you found.

Honestly, I like the UI of that wallet but I'm already satisfied too with the current wallet that I use. Maybe I'll try that in the future for holding some altcoins that I've got in dust amounts.
10539  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is bounties still worth it? on: January 18, 2019, 10:04:20 AM
Thanks everyone for your feedback.

I'm guessing apart from Signature, there is no point in wasting my time.

I'll still be participating in some campaigns that I believe have future, but not expecting much value from it.

Good for you for having that kind of mentality. Do it as an incentive but don't think about that it will be able to give you decent monthly profit. It's good as an extra source not a main source.

Good luck.
10540  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any valid reason to continue gambling? on: January 18, 2019, 09:24:32 AM
As the title itself, I’m thinking about the valid reason why gamblers continue to gamble even if they are losing a lot of money. Is it hard to understand that gambling will just make your money lose if you still continue?
If it was practiced many times, it's hard to give up gambling. I've been into that part that I see my money lose a little by little but the feeling is different when you are satisfied to gamble.

It's that feeling that you can't get with other things though the counterpart of it is losing money.
Indeed, when you are too much eager to keep moving forward satisfying your lust of playing, even the results most of the time is negative to your bankroll but you are still wanted to keep playing, there's something inside your minds that keeps reminding you that another time that you've bet you will hit the right one and win, and aside from that though you are losing you have the feelings that you are so complete after that gambling.
Yes that's the feeling, the crave, the lust for gambling, you can't remove that quickly.

It doesn't matter anymore to you if you lose but sooner or later you'll realize that you've been doing it badly when you are left with nothing. We have different feelings towards gambling and good for those who can manage to control it and bad to those who can't.
