What bitcoin gambling game do you have more chance on winning on?

Being the house lol.  Smiley
It's actually possible in some sites. You can invest in the bankroll.
What sites?

E.g. www.just-dice.com. You can also easily switch between beeing the bank and playing yourself. This way you can earn a bit while you are not playing. Or just invest.

I thought about something, if the number has been guessed but the guess was cancelled : for exemple it could have been guessed with a post edited or it was the second post or more of that player that day; we don't know that so the players that looked at what numbers have been tried don't guess the winning number and it could be a while before we have a winner Grin

Maybe OP could tell us that the number has never been guessed, even by a "cancelled" guess; we are getting to the last 100 numbers, we should have a winner very soon

Maybe, but when we will have "all" on one list, we can check for false positives on the list.
Right now I am betting on just bad luck and a lot of people doublechecking, because they are lazy.

Nothing personal you two, but two guesses just next to eachother with the same number?  Roll Eyes

The people behind the Twitter account might not've been behind any successful hacks though.

Yep, who would share their account information via twitter anyway?
10548  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Problem sending bitcoin on: March 31, 2014, 03:55:13 PM
How many confirmations does a transaction need before it's complete (if that's the correct term Smiley ? I have sent a few cents to my paper wallet to try it out, the transaction now has 5 confirmations, could I go ahead & send my BTC now? Does 5 confirmations mean the paper wallet is OK for use?

Transfering money to your paperwallet is not the crucial question. Important is if you can spend the money you send there, thats what you need to check. What good are your xy coins on your ultrasafe wallet, when you can not spend them in the future?

Wont these sites be savvy to a user suddenly getting thousands of likes/views/subscribes etc?

Most of them dont care. Youtube has a pretty good system in place to make sure you wont get payed much for fake views. The pay by seconds watched now (not sure when excactly this was changed), so if you buy 100 people watching 30 seconds you have the same value as 5 persons watching the entire 10 minute video.

Aren't there bots that can just watch the full video?

Pretty sure there are, but Id guess the prices would be to high for you to earn money off of it. The main reason to buy views, likes, followers, etc. is to attract more people. But when you realize the content get very little activity (few likes, views, comments, etc.) you know you just wasted money. The activity is what you need to make money, but thats not something you can buy on a regular basis. Sure these people that like your page or view your video once might exist, but they dont care for your content, they are just after the quick BTC, USD, EUR, WHTVR.

Yeah, but I think the people who buy this stuff do it to get their foot in the door and/or to appear more popular than they actually are. All it takes is one video to get some attention on the most viewed or whatever and it can go from there.

Correct, that is how you should do it, everything else makes no sense. The only problem is that this might not be enough to get an edge.

10554  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Start earning Bitcoin here! on: March 31, 2014, 10:08:24 AM
I think there are far better ways to earn bitcoins right on this site. No need to go anywhere else to do that. Plus it is easier.

And you are right my friend Smiley

If you just read Bitcointalk and get into bounties and some deals you will earn a lot more then from any faucets.

Just need to search well Smiley #services

Thsoe 2 things are not mutally exclusive. You can earn BTC here and get some from faucets, null problemo.

10556  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What should i do with my $1100 on: March 31, 2014, 08:20:18 AM
Buy Bitcoins!!!
You can buy >2BTC for this price! Smiley You can always try a link from my sig Smiley
I'll say wait for a month and you'll be able to buy more >3btc by then end of april.. it might go up a lil in first week but at the end you'll be able to..! But i don't think op here want to Buy bitcoins he is more into mining which is a long term investment..!

There are some pretty big walls on the way to <300. Even 420 has a ~ 3200 BTC wall.

My advice would be:
- invest part of the money in a good book about trading ~50 should do it. (there are plenty of tipps in the speculation part)
- get yourself a nice gaming/mining rig ~1000
- buy bitcoins / altcoins with the rest ~50

This way you learn how to trade (thus make more out of your investment, but can stay cool all the way because you didnt put all your eggs in one basket), can mine at night and still have something to do while waiting for the right price (e.g. playing your favorite game) to trade.
10557  Economy / Speculation / Re: Index prediction from google trends on: March 31, 2014, 06:55:09 AM
Google trends just tells you how popular the word is for people that use google.
If the bitcoin price explodes more people will search for it on google. But e.g. "D" is not related to the price at all.

page 73 - 1 new guess to my list
page 74 - 4/17 - new guesses to my list. I esp. like the invalid guess directly below the list from numismatics

The number 205 should be untouched, so I will take it Smiley

At least according to my list, that is correct, Ill take 207 for today Smiley

As my grandmother would say, "... and if your friends jumped off a cliff, would you do it too."

https://xkcd.com/1170/

I would, if its the majority, chances are they have a good reason to jump off that cliff. Plus, they are my friends after all.
