As long as I can avoid using shitty payment providers, banks and in a certain way the government, I will continue to trust in Bitcoin.

Not a bad weekend for gunners.
Someone needs to shoot down City. Looking too good and i don't like. De bryune for 54 million pounds? WTF!
Anyone think one day transfers will be quoted in bitcoin? That'll be the day
City is by far the best team in the BPL, I'm interested in seeing how they would do in the CL. No matter how much City spends on players, they always get trashed by Barca and Real. Let's see if it's different this time. United looks soo poor, they are a sub top team at this point, they desperately need a striker or two.

Bitcoin without drama? I don't even think it's possible. It makes Bitcoin exciting and fun for me as a trader as I enjoy bull runs and flash crashes equally

With the low price, not really Waiting for the moon.. Sadly, did get scammed a few times but none of them were too significant. It's not that low. Waiting for something that might take a year or even years to happen doesn't make sense if you want to purchase something right now. As you know the price can also go massively down, right? Don't wait with buying if you want it right now. Btw... What price do you consider moon?

Holding BTC a long time to make money is not good idea, better try to buy some altcoins at low price and then sale them at higher price, and change back to BTC Holding Bitcoin for the long term makes perfectly sense as we're heading towards lower block rewards in 2016. Your advice to people to buy altcoins is horrible.

In 2016 we'll see the block rewards being cut to 12.5BTC per block, so it can be considered a special year. Just don't expect fireworks!!

It will happen. I'm a long term bull. But in the short to medium term. We are generally going down. Best case (side ways for a while). Probably hit $133 or so. Just my smooth-cents. I also have the feeling the price will go sub $200 again this year. I'm only not so sure if we'll see anything below $150 as that seems highly unlikely. Anyway, my fiat is waiting for it to happen.

Nah, don't think that's the case as Bitstamp isn't exactly a leading exchange anymore. It's all due to XT. Traders shit their pants by just thinking XT will take over.
More like traders capitalising on others shitting their pants. There'll always be something to trade be it XTGavinNSACoin or CoreCrippleBlockstreamCoin. Then why don't I give a shit about XT? This XT drama is a false flag drama. It doesn't hurt bitcoin. You don't lose your coins because of it. It doesn't matter which direction bitcoin takes, in the end you still have your coins. Stop spreading this bullshit XT drama as a reason for the price drop. It's not. For you and me, and other people out there the whole XT bullshit doesn't mean anything. But as you know the largest part of the traders a.k.a weak hands are very affraid of anything that can drag the price of Bitcoin down. It's the reality whether you like it or not. Better use this situation in your advantage to buy up some coins.

BTC is going toward $200 unfortunately, only by then it will take another decision (going up or keep going down)
That's scary thought though.
Nothing scary about it. For one trader it might be a bad situation seeing the price go down while the other is seeing it as a great buying moment. Either way, a few people lose, a few win.

i also think that arsenal is better than liverpool
They are much better but as you know it's not always the best team that wins. For todays match I think Arsenal will win with 3-1. United is very poor, the lack of goals is quite worrying. They didn't buy Pedro, which was a mistake, and now they will probably panic buy another worthless Southampton player.

It doesn't work like that here as there aren't much places I can spend my coins beside a few bars. Perhaps If I offer several stores to set up everything and convince them to accept it as optional payment method, then it might actually work. It's risk free as they get everything paid out in fiat by services such as BitPay. There isn't a reason to not accept Bitcoin in any store.

Memphis Depay was great for United last night, he might be a player who is actually worth what they paid for him. I surely hope they sign at least another striker and defender. Rooney looks quite empty.

you need balls to hold when prices are falling and there is so much uncertainty about the future of BTC
I haven't sold a single satoshi in nearly 2 months.

A lot people are eagerly waiting for Gemini to open its door for the public. I'm sure it might even have a positive impact on the price for a short while. But the long term is what I consider the most important, only time will tell how their exchange will do.

hi i have a fear that is BTC value going to fall down because i have stored 20 BTC in my wallet. If any experts here please tell me is price going to drop or else it will increases ?
There aren't any experts here. Every person can only make a guess, one does it way beyond what we consider is reasonable, and the other just don't know and is talking nonsense. Of course the price in 2016 will increase as we comming closer and closer to the reward halving. Try holding your coins at least till that time.

I'm using Avira free version to secure my pc for more than a decade! Never had any issues with it.

it need not necessarily be a slow download. Checking the blocks takes probably more time these days. This depends on your hardware. Is everything the same system wise if you compare to the system you ran earlier versions on?
Yeah, it's the same system. Hardware shouldn't be an issue as it is just a few years old. Checking blocks isn't the problem, it's purely the syncing process. There's a small chance that all the peers you're connected to are slow. Close it and delete peers.dat. On the next start it will get fresh peers. Or if you know a quick node you can add it manually with the -addnode=<ip> command. You can submit it on the command line, conf file or debug window. Did everything you mentioned but with no success so far. I noticed yesterday that while the wallet showed it is 28 hours behind, an incomming transaction popped up made 2 hours before opening my wallet to sync. Which is quite weird as the wallet was showing it was more than a day behind. Does that mean it does sync properly and the problem is in fact the wallet showing incorrect information? It means that it received the transaction when it was broadcast, but has not synced the blockchain up yet. This is normal as the client will still receive transactions and data from nodes as it syncs. The transaction should still say unconfirmed in your wallet even when it is confirmed because the blockchain is not up to date so it does not know whether the block confirming the transaction is legit or not until it syncs. Once it popped up it showed it got 2 confirmations while it was 28 hours behind according to the wallet. This makes me think there is a bug active that shows incorrect information while in fact everything works fine in the background.

Could be a possibility, but at this point I don't care to find out if they know each other and who Satoshi exactly is. It doesn't matter. Bitcoin is here and working at full.
