10581  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why dump traditional payment options for Bitcoin? on: October 18, 2016, 12:13:55 PM
~snipped~

What other reasons will you add to this, to convince someone to dump their current payment methods?

Well we can send at even lower amount than the usual required minimum in some of the payment processor where it requires at least decent amount before we can send an amount.

And yes, less hassle compare to the usual ways of sending and receiving money. And what I like more with that "less hassle"?, it covers even a country to country transactions which usually takes time before we received our money if it's done on the "usual" ways.
10582  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are floppy disks safe to store wallets? on: October 18, 2016, 11:49:30 AM
No it's not the best option. If you are thinking about data loss or whatever you are thinking then floppy disk is now outdated storage media and almost 99.9% computer don't come with floppy disk drive so why you had choose this option. Better keep you bitcoin in paper wallet in QR codes form.

The questioned is, I just wondered if there is still floppy disk distributors around today? Well at least as far as my knowledge concern, I don't have any idea now if that is still present. But well OP does save some of it while roaming in his room. Good for vintage collection lol.

Anyways, there are other ways to store our coins and floppy disk is somehow not wrong to consider as a storage backup for wallets. But if we will take the discussions about being "Safe" don't consider floppy disk here.
10583  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Anyone else worried about Poloniex? on: October 18, 2016, 11:18:15 AM
My last transactions made with Polo last week if Im not mistaken, everything went smoothly. It's bitcoin deposit, bitcoin withdrawals and altcoin transfer from other exchange. So I have balance their on 3 cryptos.

Maybe it's only on on a certain alts? And I agree that somehow it's about IP issues like stated above. Well as far as trollbox is concern, no such massive queries about the OP's concern.
10584  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Help me about TRADING on: October 18, 2016, 11:00:27 AM
I advise dont trade in yobit, there are many shitcoins in yobit.
I once tried to trade in yobit but become bankrupt, trade in ccex
instead. Buy at cheaper price coin like vta, xaur, adcn, hill ect.
For sure youll earn profit well.
i don't have any idea how to trade alt coins others saying inspect or read news about alt coins price but ididn't get how to do it is there a group in facebook of bitcoin traders? can i join to guide me in trading step by step?

There's no such thing as traders will know how price will behaves since altcoin price can easily be manipulated especially new coins on ICO. What they are doing is riding all the speculations and making sure they will take advantage of it. Yes, must be quick because a dump only lasted for short time once there was a big pump happened.

Even facebook groups or any trading groups are all basing their moves in speculations in terms of new altcoins. Those new coins on ICO can be track by monitoring their daily volume and determining the phase movements in a short interval.
10585  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin really that special to you what are you're expectations in bitcoin? on: October 17, 2016, 02:13:03 PM
For me its half special to me but still i don't really have that much bitcoin in my wallet but in my country philippines malls here don't accept bitcoin t i hope they will accept bitcoin as a payment so that bitcoin would be very special to me and never the less it will be the most thing that i will gain for from working and my salary would be bitcoin and im very okay with that and i will expect that bitcoin will conquer that malls here in philippines. Cheesy

There's an alternative/s way so don't take it as a major concern.

First of all, no doubt that today, there are lots of option now to convert bitcoin into cash here in PH. Really has lots of options to suit customer's need. And besides it's still wiser if we just spend our fiat salary into spendings so that bitcoins are just saved.

Back to topic, if bitcoin wasn't really special to me, I already stopped roaming here in bitcoin world but still Im here exploring many more things.
10586  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tipping Uber drivers with bitcoin on: October 17, 2016, 02:05:37 PM
I started to drive with Uber on my spare time and I am trying to come up
with and idea that promotes customers to tip with bitcoin.

Other drivers say they put a sign in their car that states tips are not included in
fares and are appreciated based on your experience. Maybe I can make
a QR code and post it for them to copy? Any ideas?

You can consider that and see how it will goes. It's free to test and check it after all. Smiley

But anyways those tip will bring confusion since most of the passengers don't know bitcoin much but who knows they will ask you a question about what bitcoin really is and then it's your chance now to explain the basics while driving them in their destination.
10587  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Got 200$ from Freebitcoin today morning, call that a BIG WIN on: October 17, 2016, 12:43:31 PM
Like many of us people here, this is the first time I saw a person that hits the final tier of freebitcoin. My highest is tier 4 and that was years ago.

Now hoping someone from bitcointalk forum will ever hits the lottery to prove it's existence. It's so unusual that all of the lottery winners doesn't have an account here in this forum. Smiley Well maybe what if all the winners doesn't really have an account here lol.
10588  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Off-Season on: October 17, 2016, 12:10:11 PM

I do understand that also because we are in the preseason and actually I have won a good amount of money this preseason and counting, I am just betting on the team totals and I usually bet over because I believe this is a no bearing game and all they want to do is just to score.

Betting on U/O Points is the best option to bet on pre season games. Other can consider to bet on Point Spread too with odds of at least @1.4 to 1.5. Yes small odds to consider but somehow winning has a great percentage.

Anyways about some trade deals, looks like Bucks and Bulls will finally reached the deal. Michael Carter Williams of Bucks to Tony Snell of the Bulls. This is a great tandem for the Bulls guards, Rondo + MCW + Wade. Expect a fast phase game.
10589  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the economy situation in your country that bad? on: October 17, 2016, 09:23:08 AM
Since this administration, I think this quarter of his term of office is a bit bad for the economy, since our currency's value is falling a little against the US dollar, I hope the Christmas season could lift this up a little.. Finding a job right now is a little hard since there is a few opening for a certain courses but jobs for Engineers and higher are really good and easy to find and some could even do a side job after their office hours...   Smiley

It's fine no worries. The $1 average is not that high and it doesn't mean it's bad for economy. It doesn't mean that investors are pulling away their investment. They are here for the money. The economic team of the current administration has a better plan and just give time since it's just more than 100 days since the new administration has been established.

Anyways fyi we are talking about PH government. Smiley
10590  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: My Coinbase account is hacked !!!!!! on: October 17, 2016, 08:26:24 AM
Did you already answered that 1, 2 and 3 question? What is their response?

Here you can see, they reply. Then I change my password as they describe. After that when I try to login to my account. Same problem occur again.

After resetting password they told you to response to them again. It's usual you will have a error prompt when you logged in since the issue isn't clear at the moment.

Any more infos? Coinbase will not give dirt to their big company name just because of that. How much bitcoins do you have there? May I know even an average?
10591  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Petition for sites to accept Bitcoin? on: October 17, 2016, 08:11:19 AM
Hey guys, if we were to come up with a huge petition and invite everyone you know to sign it, we could potentially get thousands of signatures. If we could get this, we could show it to any major company and hopefully sway them towards accepting bitcoin.

Any ideas? Will it work? Will it not? Improvements?

Depends on the site and if how their brainstorming will goes.

But you know even with thousands of signatures as a petition, a major company will look into brighter side and not just only with a massive request. Take a look at some of the big merchants today, Im pretty sure somehow they have received some lots of request about accepting bitcoin but still in doubt if they will accept it. Their strategic team are somehow cares for the price fluctuations of bitcoin since most of them are dealing with fiat most of the time.

As long as bitcoin is majorily used for investment purposes, we can't see some good merchants that will accept bitcoin as one of their payment method option.
10592  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What would be your recommendations when trading crypto? on: October 17, 2016, 07:49:31 AM
Even though, I've been several years buying, selling and even holding Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies there is one thing that I need to master yet and that is the ability to trade effectively any crypto in order to maximize profits.

Since crypto is highly volatile (especially alt coins), there is a good chance to make decent profit via trading.

Any good recommendations or resources that you could recommend me in order to trade cryptocurrencies effectively? (books, or any other resource)

I know one key rule which is buy low, and sell high but most of the times I end up loosing more than what I have invested initially instead of maximizing profits.  Smiley

Actually your trading experience is enough and you don't need any books or other resources to make you a much better person on trading world. Like you said you already doing trades in several years for now. Just continue and continue and continue but make sure you are learning out of that loss. Even professional traders today still suffers loss.

Since you already experienced losses, why not asked yourself sone questions. Why did I lose? What did I do? What shit I execute? What part I did gone wrong?

Learning from mistakes is a must because our built experience is nothing if we doesn't minimize the loss for a long run. It will take time of course.
10593  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Off-Season on: October 15, 2016, 09:57:16 AM

This guy is so lucky to have receive a better salary, if I were not mistaken, I guess this would be his biggest salary in his NBA career so far. The cavaliers are complete again, and with I am seeing another championship for the cavaliers, I should be betting now in NBA Future.

JR smith making almost 15 million dollars a year!!! wow. I think every player
that's retired for more than 10 years is crying. To think major roll players in the
90's only made a million and this clown that just shoots only makes 15 million
a year. Maybe NBA should lower ticket prices instead of paying the players more
money.

The offer is really great for the likes of J.R Smith. There is no great offers that will come to him han . Despite of his performance and mid age level he able to get a good deal.

Cavaliers financial market is not that high so I don't know what thing does the management think to make such deal for an average player where they can shop for much better. Well maybe they don't want to wreck the championship roster.

10594  Economy / Economics / Re: Prediction for 2017 - share your views on: October 15, 2016, 08:51:10 AM
Well I don't mind if the price will thoroughly increase next year or even this year as long as it will not goes down below $600 since we can considered this range of price now as a bottom like what happen in the range of $250-$299 that lasted for almost half a year. What a fail if we go back again at below $500.

As long as there will be a numbers of large price movement that will happen we can have an opportunity to make more money even the price wil not reached those desired target by others.
10595  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The best strategy on: October 15, 2016, 07:46:06 AM
The best way to make money with trading is to use the darvas boxes with "different time frames".

If you want to keep your money, you need a strategy.

Don't forget, it's not important how much money you've made. The most important thing is how much you kept!

If your stated strategy keeps and maintained your trading funds and continously earns for a long period of time then good. Just continue on your doings. People have different strategies so keep those while learning new things things on the road.

Anyways agree on your last statement but of course make sure that money you will made is worth your time and effort.
10596  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Off-Season on: October 15, 2016, 06:23:40 AM
So this is it and finally settled. Jr Smith re-signed at Cleveland Cavaliers and we will expect to see him for more seasons with CAVS.

Lebron James and the gang are really happy with the announcement.

Cavaliers to re-sign J.R Smith with 4-year , $57 milion deal
10597  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Selling Betting Tips ( Today 3 Pre-Season NBA Picks On Sale) on: October 15, 2016, 05:24:33 AM
Please give some insights about your future picks in NBA and we will see how it goes. Dont just pick and give analyzation. You are an NBA expert huh? Smiley Let's see that expert thing.

Honestly I can't think of any reason why should people need to  buy tips for a sport especially on basketball.

P.S Don't take this as negative comment. Its all part of customers concern so they will not just follow just because you make agood earnings out of your picks. This is usual no worries. Goodluck mate.

10599  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 207: Rousey vs Nunes Prediction and Info Thread on: October 14, 2016, 03:54:43 PM
Rousey is on a mission here so she will do anything to knock out Nunes unlike when she fight Holmes that she isn't presurred much. Yes Nunes is really tough opponent but back then when Rousey and Holms fight, others are eyeing for Rousey but Holmes got the cake.

More importantly is my bet, if ever sportsbetting sites will tagged Rousey as underdog and give her a good odds, I will put some money for her. Worth to bet.
10600  Other / Off-topic / Re: Currently, what's your way of generating Bitcoins? on: October 14, 2016, 03:08:35 PM

I think mining is no longer profitable today. you will get a large fee if you use a lot of mining tools, I think mining is no longer worthed

And with the recent drop rewards, it's really not good if a person will just enter the mining world.

Those who are into industry of mining are the one who can keep up with the current mining and difficutly but for the new one it will be hard to cover all the cost.

So it's not advisable for a new one to go through a mining these days.
