10581  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Frustrations: Losing Streak on: January 05, 2018, 08:49:29 AM
I know that every one of us had this day when we all thought that it's our day but it's not. I myself honestly say that there are still times that I lose control of everything when this happens, I tend to get frustrated immediately (especially when it comes to poker) when I know that I have a losing card. It makes my day from bad to worst. How do you handle your frustrations when losing streak strikes?

I agree we all go through this phase and the bad part about the losing streak is we never want to accept loss until wallets are emptied, that is why I have come to accept is that gambling isn't for the faint at heart or the emotional and the only way to handle your frustrations when losing streak strikes is to control your emotions and stop gambling for that day till you thinking straight again

10583  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's a reasonable amount you can make per month trading Crypto long term? on: December 27, 2017, 11:56:41 PM
The amount of money one can make in this time period will depend on how much money we are able to pump in ( initial deposit ) and the type of coins we are trading will matter.

Everybody looks like a bloody genius in the bull market. You can easily double your money in a month, or even a week if you pick well / get lucky. But it can't and won't last. Enjoy while it does and make sure you withdraw your initial deposit with healthy interest
I like the strategy and this is what a good trader needs to do to avoid losing money should a long term dip happen.
10584  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is Bitcoin the way to fight corruption? Or is it the good way to launder money? on: December 27, 2017, 11:39:24 PM
Even if different government around the world choose to ban bitcoin, the technology behind bitcoin does not make btc a good platform to host any illegal activities like corruption or money laundering because the blockchain will always have the evidence on the public ledger which cant be taken down in case one tries to cover their tracks.
10585  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think the Xmas and Holiday season, caused the drop in the price? on: December 27, 2017, 11:31:38 PM
I think Xmas and the Holiday season did contribute to the drop but once the holidays are over money will soon be reinvested back into various cryptocurrencies and this should lead to price recoveries for most if not all cryptos that dipped in this holiday season.
10586  Economy / Speculation / Re: Good news everyone: SegWit may finally be activated with majority support on: December 27, 2017, 10:46:22 PM
seems like back them support was there but this time around things are looking different and https://coin.dance/blocks shows very few are in support of this fork as i can only see 5% have signalled to support this project SegWit2x  which isnt looking good at the moment
10587  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: December 27, 2017, 08:48:00 PM
Match Newcastle - Manchester City is on programme tonight. After this match Manchester City will probably have 15 points lead.
In my opinion they already won this year's championships.

Let the match finish, you never know what happens, though I would also kind off agree the league title seems to be going to Manchester City.
But also cannot jump to my personal conclusions as still many games are left. As per current scenario if Manchester City keeps it position an hold on to win the upcoming important games nobody can stop them to hold the trophy this season.
lol hoping for the worst but Manchester City are already on their way to increasing the gap between them and the next best team, and should this go on I do not see city losing a game in the premier league unless the champions league were the real competition is for them
10588  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IS CRYPTO TRADING ADDICTION? on: December 27, 2017, 08:14:32 PM
I heard about a guy in Moscow, who jumped out of the window, because he lost all his money in crypto investments and trading. So, do we have a new free heroin here?
I thought losing all your money in crtpyo trading was almost impossible because you can cash out whatever coins you have left to avoid this kind of a loss...am sure there is more to the story than whats in the public domain.

Is it possible to get addicted to crypto?
I think we can say its addiction because we are always monitoring the price movement and or that but its not the unhealthy addiction Roll Eyes
10589  Economy / Economics / Re: 2017 Was Bitcoin's Year. 2018 Will Be ....... on: December 27, 2017, 08:00:53 PM
I think 2017 was a for regulations of cryptos in most parts of the world

and 2018 should be a bigger for adoption as investors will no longer have anything to fear besides the price which should start to rise after all the festive celebrations.
10590  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to make a full recovery by year end? on: December 27, 2017, 05:36:50 PM
Am really not worried about the price right now because after these festive events i expect demand to rise as most holders should have sold their coins and will want to refill their crypto bags once again.

We can never tell when the trend will change. However, I would prefer Bitcoin to stabilize at current levels until it solves its confirmation time issues.
I think prices are not as volatile as they where which is a good sign for a recovery
10591  Economy / Marketplace / Re: I am Looking to buy Crypto currency for Paypal FNF on: December 27, 2017, 04:55:05 PM
try look in the  Currency exchange section to buy with paypal https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=53.0 or use localbitcoin or paxful for this trade but be ready for high markups added for the exchange.
10592  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Bittrex holding funds for over 50 days now - no support - scam? on: December 27, 2017, 03:31:15 PM
I have had no problems with bittrex but 50 days of waiting is too much I hope the next time you have a chat with their support staff this should be resolved. A quick glance at their thread things do look so good seems people have more problems than i thought https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=463202.0 Bittrex  OPs id https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=96390 Trade with extreme caution!
10593  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it good time to buy alts now? on: December 27, 2017, 02:25:55 PM
Bitcoin is almost stable now, all alts are showing green.
Going forward people will dump less of their coins because cryptocurrencies will be legal and can be used as a form of investment, and if the stableness continues the value will even increase as demand will rise as a result of the stableness.
Is it good time to buy alts before its too late or shall we wait for dump?
As you have said, coins are now stable and if you going for a long term investment then it is the right time to buy alts
10594  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will you donate Bitcoin for the poor and needy? on: December 27, 2017, 11:28:26 AM
Helping people is not a bad thing but maybe donating fiat to them would make it much easy for them to use the money and not bitcoin which would be difficult to cash out if they do not know how to use an exchange, and bitcoin donations would be easy for someone crafty to mismanage so bitcoin donations not for me.
10595  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Bitcoin and real money? on: December 26, 2017, 11:55:23 PM
My obvious differences

Bitcoin is digital while fiat has both a digital and physical form.

Bitcoin can be treated as an investment while fiat cant be used in this kind of a form.

Bitcoin is universal in all parts of the world with no central power unlike fiat(real money ) which is under the control of the central bank isn't universal needs a bureau de change.

10596  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Falling...Is it Panic Time? on: December 26, 2017, 10:24:45 PM
Traders and experienced investors have always said the best time to buy coins is when the price is falling and well it rises so fast hold

Now bitcoin again becomes more expensive before fork on December 28. What will be on December 29 in your opinion? Should we sell bitcoin on the 28th day or will the price increase continue?
This fork has not built as much hype as bitcoin cash did but this SegWit2x fork should soon help the price to rise in the next few hours as people will prepare for the airdropped coins.
10597  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is It advisable to quit my present job for bitcoin? on: December 26, 2017, 09:50:42 PM
I do not support the idea of leaving your real life job for bitcoin ! Keeping working IRL and make bitcoin a part time job because crypto work might not always be there and its better to play it safe.
10598  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: December 26, 2017, 07:58:38 PM
wtf is wrong with man united? 0-2 in the first half, if they lose in this match I don't know what to say. maybe it's time for a new manager ?

Man united were lucky to escape with a draw. All odds were against Mourinho's boys from the first whistle. Todays squad looked confused and there was no communication at all. It looked like everyone was trying to out-do his colleague. I pity for Lukaku who is now looking like someone who doesn't know what to do on the field. Mourinho needs to do something otherwise with the current competition for 2nd, 3rd and 4th places, he might end up losing it out.
It is becoming difficult for Mourinho to defend his own players when the underperform like they did but besides this what a great performance from Lingard who made the biggest difference today for the team.... the likes of lukaku's need to prove their worth as Manu fans will not settle for draws games, and to be honest am now seeing Chelsea to be better suited for 2nd position starting next month.
10599  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: December 26, 2017, 02:31:04 PM
Chelsea are currently sitting third in the league after collecting 39 points and with16 points behind the leaders no chance for them to hold the title this season and they can only fight with United over runner's up because for now they are safe to finish in top 4
I think the other positions are still open to a challenge and I would not say Chelsea are far from safety because Tottenham, Liverpool   ,Arsenal, Burnley, Leicester are all fighting for this place.

and in the latest game they have created 26 scoring chances but they didn't convert any with them having good defense but a small squad Conte cannot make enough changes for rotations as his players would be tired now around Christmas. While visitors Brighton have a good defense and sitting at a safe spot at the middle . I expect from this game to see just few goals scored because Morata is not in form also Brighton is good at back.
December games are an endurance test for most teams and I think Chelsea has a lot of experience to call it fatigue this time around, they will be more than ready to take on Brighton and challenge ManU for the second position...am expecting another hat trick to be scored today.
10600  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the best safest way to keep bitcoins. on: December 26, 2017, 02:19:23 PM
i am newb & want to know the best and safest way to keep collect btc .
thanks in advance
The safest option should be a wallet that you have access to a private key, so if you have a vanity address that should be safe as you can import it in most common wallet platforms such as blockchain, info, jaxx, electrum and many others but I think a ledger wallet should be good enough.
