Nothing gets past you AbiTxGroup! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Tweaked the PPLNS one last time...you should not see it cut out again.

AbiTxGroup,
As you have seen we have reduced the PPLNS window from 24 hours to 3 hours for Digitalcoin, Worldcoin, and Craftcoin.
It was a highly requested change so I hope it is liked by everyone!

Could someone explain the changes in SHARE_PERIOD and SPREAD? I understand it's to support ASICs in some way but can we get a more detailed explanation as to what these setting do? Bitcoin: SHARE_PERIOD=10, # seconds NEW_SHARE_PERIOD=30, # seconds
SPREAD=3, # blocks NEW_SPREAD=3, # blocks
Litecoin: SHARE_PERIOD=10, # seconds NEW_SHARE_PERIOD=15, # seconds
SPREAD=12, # blocks NEW_SPREAD=3, # blocks Thanks!

Craftcoin P2Pool updated to release 13.1.
|
|
|
All pools have been updated to P2Pool release 13.1.
|
|
|
My question is, if we as pool members are actually working together as a team then why not work together on 1 pool rather than 6 or 7? I've seen it repeatedly mentioned that it is important for the hash to be evenly spread out across multiple pools so that if one or two (or three) go down it does not affect the network. In other words it is not good for the viability of any coin to have all the hash rate concentrated on only a few pools. Responsible pool operators discourage having too much of the network hash on their pool.

There are ways to consolidate a large # of transactions with no fees. Search around. The "soon to be released" 0.8.3.x LTC wallet will have a built in utility to combine smaller transactions.

Most pools keep the TX fees to themselves. P2pools give them to the miners. The fee's on P2Pools are a bit different than other pools. Any fees that a p2pool has is probabilistic (yes, I had to look up the definition of that word too) ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) In other words if your p2pool has a 1% fee then 1% of the shares goes to the pool not 1% of every share. The pool can have periods of bad luck in relation to the fee and get nothing at all but it should average out over time.

Please PM me your mining address for payment. Join us on Freenode #digitalcoin for an addional 10 DGC for setting up an IRC wallet. Stratum stratum+tcp://dgc.xpool.net:8810Getwork: http://dgc.xpool.net:8810Login Username: YourWalletAddress Password: Any password you like Example Connection Strings cgminer -o stratum+tcp://dgc.xpool.net:8810 -u YourWalletAddress -p password --scrypt --queue 0 --scan-time 5 --expiry 10Make sure to replace YourWalletAddress Features- No account registration or passwords to remember

Share DifficultyYou can set the level of difficulty sent to your miner by appending a difficulty setting to your wallet address. The following difficulty settings can be used as a guide: Kh/s Difficulty 1 +0.00000116 50 +0.000058 100 +0.000116 250 +0.00029 500 +0.00058 750 +0.00087 1000 +0.00116 1250 +0.00145 1500 +0.00174 1750 +0.00203 2000 +0.00232
To determine the difficulty for your specific hash rate multiply by 0.00000116 For example, if your miner is capable of 1440 Kh/s: 1440 * 0.00000116 = 0.0016704Example Connection String for a miner capable of 1440 Kh/s: cgminer -o stratum+tcp://crc.xpool.net:8830 -u YourWalletAddress+0.0016704 -p password --scrypt --queue 0 --scan-time 5 --expiry 10Live SupportI try to be on IRC as much as possible on these channels: #craftcoin, #xpool, #p2pool, #bitcoin, #digitalcoin, #litecoin, #worldcoin New block announcements are made in the #craftcoin channel. Frequently Asked QuestionsQ: Why does my miner report so many longpoll/stratum from pool request work restarts? A: This is normal. It is how often p2pool shares are generated.

You should see his WDC pool. Something like 80+% of the network.

Anyone else having issues with their wallets being stuck on block 9279? My wallet won't sync up past the block.
Block 9279 is the last block solved by the Craftcoin network. Took about 12 hours to go from 9278 to 9279.

get lots of "exceptions.ValueError: share_info invalid" on my node, I assume it's because some nodes are not upgraded yet?
Yes, I have contacted known ops to update. I am not seeing the error message any longer on my side. Please make sure we are in sync with blocks found and payout. If not please PM me.
