1061  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What makes a good bettor? on: August 12, 2020, 02:19:02 PM
I think it is difficult to hold on to our winnings for a long time because we cannot always have luck in the gambling games.

Holding on to our winnings will not be decided by how lucky we are, that will fall down to how you will be able to control yourself from gambling and how much you will be gambling after you win. If you don't want to lose it or maybe use it into something else, it will not be a problem if you can control yourself. I guess discipline will also fall here.
Just need to get control over the greed if someone wants to hold their winnings, yes it looks simple but in real life it can be very tempting while we are gambling and won few early bets then our mind will be fixed to keep betting and looking to become a millionaire on that day itself. Cheesy
1062  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment advice needed from experts on: August 12, 2020, 06:41:31 AM
If you can tell the name of the coin then it would be better to give right advice from the experienced forum members. In my opinion its better to give up on the project since the value dumped over 90% so it will be very hard to recover to its original value for a random altcoin.
1063  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Ethereum transaction has been pending for over a month on: August 11, 2020, 05:27:04 PM
Ill never experience something like that using imtoken wallet they will give suggested fee every time I want to transfer any eth or tokens. I think the problem of your transaction is the fees you use for transferring it to other address . Many suggestions is given above already but I want to suggest to use im token next time if you don't want to experience the same problem in the future.
IM token also has its pros and cons but for someone like OP who doesn't know how to set the right gas fee then it is good to go for the wallet which is having suggested fee feature while making every transaction. And also IMtoken received every tokens without manually adding them like in MEW that is an extra feature people will get.
1064  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Goldman Sachs are eyeing to create their own digital asset! on: August 11, 2020, 04:32:01 PM
Facebook Libra was supposed to be something similar. Who uses Libra today? Nobody.

To me another bank launching its crypto is not an important piece of news.
AFAIK, Libra is yet to be launched by the facebook and the are facing regulation issues on most of the countries so another fiat based tokens will face the same issue if it is not going to be backed by particular fiat. And its is not really an important news because crypto investments may never consider these kind of tokens as worth to invest since its just a stable coin.
1065  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Investing In Crypto Genuine Better Than Trading Forex on: August 11, 2020, 02:44:46 PM
Since January this year, I have been trading forex as a second passive income earning. After making some money in crypto I venture into trading forex, but I got my finger burnt. I wasted a lot of money without making a single profit. I regretted this venture. I have come into conclusion that investing in the genuine crypto project is far better than trading forex.  The risk in trading forex is higher than investing in a genuine crypto project.
In cryptos these things happens too often when you invest on a completely new project, so its better to trade cryptos than investing on new projects because good projects are rate to find these days. And in forex the profits are very low compared to cryptos so don't expect same level of profits at every kind of trading you do.
1066  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos Withdrawal Fees Rise | August 2020 🔥 on: August 11, 2020, 06:58:52 AM
That bitcoin rises and consequently the withdrawal fees rise, we are used to it, but this time some casinos have increased up to 300% or more, I do not know if anticipating that bitcoin continues to increase.

The increase should always be proportional to the increase in bitcoin or fairly close.

How much does it bother you that it increases disproportionately? Do you change casino for this reason?

Let's go! It is not that they are so exorbitant amounts compared to some exchanges, for example.
But there are players who are moving their balances from one place to another looking for bonuses etc.

Generally those that move in a bankroll between $ 10 and $ 100. This affects them, a withdrawal commission of $ 3 after paying before (bitcoin price +/- $ 9500) $ 0.45 is taking away a percentage of profit from the players of the micro-bets.

Please! Big cash out players, we understand how insignificant the increase is for you.  Cool
But sometime in his successful career, he had the experience of paying a commission that meant 30% of his withdrawal of funds. (!?)
Withdrawal fee doesn't increase due to the price rise, its just increased due to more clogged network on the blockchain, and you can't blame the casinos and if you care about the increase in bitcoin's withdrawal fee then better move to altcoins to bet so you can save that micro bet you are talking about. But what I noticed is that withdrawal fee on the casinos are far less than while withdrawing from our wallets because casinos make batch withdrawals which can save fees in total.
I think the other reason behind the sudden increase on casinos withdrawal fees is the pandemic and the demand. We are all suffering in the midst of this pandemic but still a lot of gamers and gamblers has their own ways to manage their time and effort to play even if most of us are suffering from food and money shortage that's why the management of the casinos decided to increase their fees in order for them to increase also the payment of their workers as a help for them.
No they won't do in that way, or else they are going to lose their customers, still the memepool is slightly clogged so I find the transaction fee little higher but low less compared to previous weeks so it all depends on the network not on the casinos itself.

Please do your research on the subject, do not target your answer based on things you have just read, perhaps in this thread, experience helps contextualize and knowledge to be accurate.
Yes I am following bustadice withdrawal fee where the fee is only based on the network requirements, previously the prices increased to $11,000 in this year but at that time where withdrawal fee for instant was about 50 bits only but now is is in the region of 200 bits for instant and 40 bits for regular batching withdrawal.
1067  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Compare Withdrawal Fees before you trade on a Exchange on: August 11, 2020, 04:27:21 AM
Good find OP, this will be definitely helpful for lot if the traders and also for newbies.

This exchange calculates USD value of withdrawal fee based on what prices? Is it calculated based on the reported value on coinmarket cap or any other websites?
1068  Economy / Economics / Re: Wealth distribution, and tragedy of the commons. on: August 09, 2020, 02:48:22 PM
The the fairest distribution of wealth is just: let people earn it. With few exceptions.

Communist countries, where their rulers came to power with a discourse against the rich, are also unequal. There are very few rich people, those in power, and then there's the rest of the population going hungry. Castro, Maduro, Kim Jong-un are all multi-millionaires and I never hear a discourse against inequality in their countries. There seems to be only inequality in developed countries.
Those countries don't let anyone to speak out about the situation and most of them were poor means they have to be obedient to their lords to get the money what they make or they will go into prison for the rest of their life.Inequality in wealth distribution is everywhere and it is not the modern day problem it exists from the ancient age, kings will have the money and the people only had very little money but still they are the one have to pay taxes to the king.
1069  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Coinbase: Increasing ETC deposit confirmation time to ~ 2 weeks on: August 09, 2020, 01:51:49 PM
I'm sure we are all aware of the recent attacks on ETC network, and as a result Coinbase are going to increased deposit confirmation time for ~2 weeks to be on the safe side,

https://twitter.com/CoinbaseSupport/status/1291898937037611008

So if you are going to deposit, you might as well wait for the right time, unless you really can wait for 2 weeks confirmation.
I guess this is going to get big effect on its prices in real soon, the holders will be in panic situation now and most of them will be rushing towards the exchanges that is why coinbase is taking such precautionary measures.I will say it is better to hold those ETC in your wallet until the things back into normal or else you will be in such a frustated situation which will make you feel depressed.

1072  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Attention for bounty work on: August 08, 2020, 05:41:58 PM
Basically you are looking for merits for saying this statement? This has been told million times already in this forum and don't consider bounty is a job because it isn't a permanent one so grab it when it is available and move on when it is no more profitable.
1073  Economy / Economics / Re: 2020-2021 best year if You Want to become rich no skills needed on: August 08, 2020, 03:06:48 PM
To take loans on any country then you need collateral like asset or any kind of your wealth information without that no banks will give you any loan.So if you want to take loan you need to be rich that is why poor people are getting poorer.

And if you managed to take loan by someway still you need to pay it back along with interest so you need some kind of skill to invest that money or you will be scammed. Cheesy

1075  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can i start forex with no risk of money? on: August 08, 2020, 09:57:57 AM
Hello my all Trader friend, if you have Any Good Experience about Forex trading,  you can answer my Question. I am saking if there is way of start forex with no risk, and  i can withdraw profit  earning with no heavy condition.
No you cannot trade forex without risks, the only thing you can do is make use of strategies that are going to help to reduce the level of losses you will make while trading. As for eliminating the risk up to 100%, you cannot do that. The number one strategy you’re going to use to reduce your risk is to reduce the capital you’re trading with.

Let me say you have invested up to $10,000 in your forex trading account, instead of that amount at the same time or a huge part of it, would be best for you to be taking a little, like say $100 per trade, that way you wouldn’t be risking much, although your profit would be less, but better to have less profit than to lose. Then don’t forget to make use of the stop loss tool if your broker provides it.
In forex trading the risks are really low compared to crypto and stock trading because the currencies values are somewhat more stable so we need huge capital to make very little profit from it so trading with small amount doesn't make sense when someone have $10K capital but this can reduce the chance of lose but I will say the effort of trading for such small amount doesn't worth it.
1076  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Ethereum Wallets on: August 08, 2020, 09:12:09 AM
I think, there are few wallets which are good for holding such as coinbase, my ether wallet and trust wallet. My favourite is coinbase which i used it over three years.
I have been in the crypt for 6 years, but I have not used one wallet. Stored either on an exchange or on a contract
FYI, coinbase is also an exchange not a real wallet, but you have been doing this mistake for very long time and swap to a wallet before you lose any money to an exchange.Exchange hacks are the most possible reason for anyone could lose their account but there are also other reason we can lose our funds stored on an exchange like account frozen due to suspicious activity or losing access to 2FA,etc.
1077  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Turnover verification on: August 07, 2020, 06:57:05 PM
Hi.
I am very new to all this so bare with me!!!
Last year my wife was convinced to make a 100 euro investment in btc that would magically make her rich. We never saw or heard from them again...
Last week we got a call from someone who claimed that her investment had gone bankrupt but it had generated money before that and now she would get the btc. with interest All we had to do was to create a new wallet in blockchain.com, make a transaction to cashexit.trade and just wait. We had to make a transaction of 300 euros. This we could lose if it showed to be a scam and I was not convinced at all as they needed to use anydesk to "help" with everything online. Well, the euros are in cashexit and I am trying to get them back but in order to receive the btc from this "fund" of the invested money I now have to make another deposit of 0.1569 btc to my blockchain.com account even though I have gotten the verification that I am good to go, so to speak... This should be a turnover verification
The btc we would receive efter all this should be 0.5349866
Is this something I need to do or are they just trying to get more money from me so that they can take it also??? Have I been scammed?
Thank you!!!
Its just a scam, don't lose 0.156BTC for recovering your 100 euros. Embarrassed

Cashexit is an exchange? the name itself looks shady and understand bitcoin investments don't work in that way and legit lending platform offers very little interest rate per year.
1078  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Regulations in online Gambling sites on: August 07, 2020, 05:38:40 PM
I don't think that the high roller would agree to having a cap on gambling or regulating it and besides how would it actually help?
The gambling sites would have a limited plays for each of their user so that would cut down their profit.
And also I think it could be cheated if they would limit the it then the players could create multiple account to bypass the limit and play however they want.
Casinos will moves to gambling heaven country if their country is starting to implement these kind of non sense regulations, if they don't want their people to gamble then they should ban it but they want to have limiting the amount of bets which i going to affect the gambling sites and not going to give any benefits to the people because still people who are supposed to addict will become one.
1079  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ethereum transection error on: August 07, 2020, 09:30:38 AM
You mean the transaction is still in pending status for too long?

If yes then it is due to the low gas fee, always check the recommended gas value before initiating a transaction from wallets.
1080  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Netherlands pilot scheme to allow women to play in senior men's team on: August 07, 2020, 07:29:43 AM
I'm actually sorry that we talk mostly based on personal opinions rather than facts and statistics.
Since this girl has been playing with boys for 14 years,  I tried to find recordings of her games or statistics but I couldn't find it.
Such concrete data would help our discussion much more and help us find answer to the question whether girls can play with boys.
Unfortunately, there is no data so we can only share our personal opinions.
There are girls who are stronger than men as well but athletic woman and man cannot compete each other in the game like soccer because it will lead into more injuries for the women due to many reasons.I only found women referee videos on internet who themselves injured on many occasions so how it is going to be mixing girls and boys for the same game.
