Both Sandcoins and Casinocoin v0.2 versions are now available from the Google Play store. Sandcoins for iOS is also submitted to the Apple App Store but is still under review. Please remember that it is still not completely finished but i guess that within a week or two we can call it a GA release 

Thanks to the group of initial testers the Mobile Wallet has now moved on to version v0.2! For everybody that wants to testdrive the latest version you can download it at https://github.com/casinocoin/MobileWallet/releases/tag/v0.2. Please be careful not to use too much coins with the wallet as it is still not a full production release!!!! For those that already have the app installed you should be able to install it over your previous version. If you used a passphrase seed for the wallet creation you can always delete the app and recreate the wallet after reinstalling it.

I also started the Apple iTunes appstore process for the mobile wallet and decided to go with the Sandcoins version first as i think that one has more chance of being accepted compared to the Casinocoin version. In the end it is no more than a theming issue but Apple can be pretty difficult in accepting apps. I guess the Android versions will be in the play store one of these days as well

I guess the general public release for the Mobile Wallets can be within a few weeks as soon as the Google and Apple app stores published the apps.

The wallet info tab will tell you that there are about 38,8 mln coins mined. There are about 2000 new coins generated every day for the next 30-40 years ..... i guess if we do not have a sustainable mining network by then the coin will have failed to fulfil its promise

Sorry i missed that one, ... could you ask the user to open an issue on Github for that? The crash report seems to indicate a missing openssl. As the last builds need openssl for secure communication with csc and prypto api. Needs to be installed with Homebrew.

First of all i would like to wish everybody a happy, healthy and prosperous new year!!!

I have been very busy over the last few months so there has been no progress on CSC related development. Starting the new year i think its a great time to pick-up the pace again. First thing to do now is to finish the mobile wallets. I already had made some decent progress so i guess it would not take too much time to release a first beta version.

There are some things that have been bothering me for a while now:

• We really need more developers!!! If you have any C++, NodeJS, Ionic/Angular or Java experience and have some time to spare you can PM me!!
• If you have no coding skills you can still help us out!! I really want to have the commits on Bitcoin audited to deduct any security fixes we should apply to CSC
• I also would like to know if there are any BIP (Bitcoin Improvement Proposals) items we should implement for CSC?
• Are there any other things we would like to see in the CSC wallets or any other new CSC related software we would need?

It wasn't me, .... just those miners that keep auto-selling their coins at whatever price. But i wouldn't mind get my order filled at 1000 sat although i doubt there is enough time for that

Ok, will try to explain a few things as far as i understand it, .... remember i am not Prypto nor Dreamworks so its my own interpretation of things

You need to keep 2 things in mind:
1) Prypto/Dreamworks need a commercial viable business case and thats why they need it as a closed loop
2) You need to understand the local situation on the Bahamas and how things work there

Assume the system is not a closed loop system but connected to current market price and open for business to the outside world ->
- assume the current market price for CSC is 0.018 dollar, a customer buys a voucher for 20 dollar, he will receive about 1111 CSC
- He waits a day to use his voucher in the casino
  - Market price goes to 0,03 dollar per CSC, he now gets 33.33 dollar for his voucher -> customer happy !! -> Casino will go bankrupt
  - Market price goes down to 0,01 dollar per CSC, he now gets 11,11 dollar for his voucher -> customer angry !! -> will never come back -> Casino goes bankrupt as well
- So as long as Market price is not above 1 dollar and volumes increases the only way to make it work is fix its value.
- If you make its value fixed you can not afford people or casino's bring coins inside the loop when they are being bought at cheap prices outside the closed loop -> Prypto/Dreamworks go bankrupt.

So when will we all benefit of it then you might ask? Well gaming on the bahamas is restricted to locals only by law so you will not be able to gamble with those casinos from outside of the bahamas. GC indicated that Prypto had acquired sufficient coins to start their business. They also stated that they already are looking to extend to Jamaica, Belize, Cuba and others so the need for coins will only increase. Either Prypto will need to buy more coins or they make the participating casinos buy the extra coins. At some point when market prices are above their closed loop prices they will open up the exchange. Actually the value has to increase as there are only about 40 mln coins available and that is not enough capital to supply a possible global market of billions, even if you only get 10% of that ....

People do not worry so much about an exact date. Prypto and Dreamworks are commercial companies that work under their own timeframes, none of us has any influence on them. We should be very happy that a commercial company choose CSC to be their base currency for their projects. They give indications and projections but please remember that current operations are being executed in the caribbean, ..... mañana is an important word there

That means that a lot of CSC sold on Cryptsy has been taken out of cryptsy before it collapsed or they simply never existed and they sold non existing coins.

Look, you have Miners, Traders and Investors (may also be miners).

The first group of Miners just look for the most profitable coin and do not care at all about a coin and just sell right after mining, most of them just mine straight into an exchange and don't even have a wallet of their own.

The traders don't care about a coin neither. They bought maybe at 500-1000 sat over the last months or so and if they can sell at 10.000 sat they made a very big profit. I can actually understand that if you invested say 1-3 BTC and can cash in 20 BTC about 6 months later you did good! Most stock market traders work like that, ... they do not actually care about the companies behind the stocks, they only care about the value of their portfolio.

The investers are both the big and the small holders, they protect their long term investment by not selling of at low prices but try to buy more and more because they believe in a coins future. Hopefully they will be wise enough in the future to sell off bit by bit on higher prices to not destabilise the market too much by dumping large quantities. They invest their time and resources in pushing a company (or coin) ahead and try to contribute to make it a success.

- I have invested money in buying coins over the last few years
- I have invested time and money in servers running seeds, mining pools, API services and block explorers
- I have invested hundred of hours in development

So i consider myself to be an investor

- I have received some thank you's from loyal supportors
- I have received a few donations but only from other 'investors'
- I have received tons of complains and even lots of aggresive PM's
- We always tried to make the best decissions for the coins future
- We never promised anything, only told things as they are
- We all know that crypto is an experimental market where you should never invest more than you are capable of losing!

There are about 38 mln coins out there at the moment. 75% is owned by the top 100 and about 50% by the top 10. Most top 10 owners are known and will not be selling cheap. It is estimated that between 5-10 percent of the coins will not be spendable any more because they are in hidden or lost wallets over the last 3 years. I have about 50K coins sitting in my MegaMineros wallets that are not being claimed by their miners, ... guess other pools have the same.

Can you wait till the coins has a value of $1 or more?? Will you act as an investor at that point or will you get greedy?? That all depends in what category you place your self, ... are you a Miner, a Trader or an Investor?

I have submitted a new 'add coin request' to Poloniex myself, ... maybe as the current main developer they will respond to me.

BTW, as NovaExchange is online again i updated the wallet API and added their data again to the wallet.

I also now am storing historic Exchange data on the API server and i am thinking of adding some volume and price charts to the wallet ....

If anybody wants to contribute, .... try getting Poloniex to add SandCoins as they probably do not want to add Casinocoin. Sandcoins will be used to accommodate prepaid sales and small money transfers in the caribbean in the near future. We definitely have a unique wallet to show for and would love to put them in the top spot for exchanges

OK some explanation, ... as indicated earlier by GC the first implementations will be a closed loop system as shown in image 3. The exchange that is being setup is a means to exchange coins between the Merchant (Casinos), the Vendor (stores or alike) and Prypto. You can create an account but without manual verification it will not work but gives people an idea of how it looks like. The current server is a test server but with the upcomming go-live event it will be running off its final production servers and hostname. From then on everybody can see the transactions either on the exchange and/or on the blockchain. It is to be expected that CSC public trading price will go up once the word gets out that CSC is being used in real life casinos. You all know that there are very few coins out there that are actually being used for something real besides trading on exchanges. As soon as public price gets above the closed loop price it makes sense to open up the exchange to the public. Offcourse GC and its partners will be all over the media once they go live to get attention for their CSC implementation as can you all but i would wait until they actually went live  

You all probably understand that work on the mobile wallets have been on a hold for the last few months as i felt helping Prypto move forward implementing CSC was my first priority.

Hello All,

Since the last update we have 3 seeds that refuse to upgrade and keep messing with wallet connections. We either need those seeds to upgrade to version 3.0.0 or we need 1 or 2 new permanent nodes that can function as seed. Does anybody have a node that can be used or is somebody willing to run one? Or does somebody know we owns one of those seeds?
