Sorry for all bears. CCMF til the new ATH.

As soon as I see these posts I expect the price to go down.

Edit. I haven't been on these boards much lately. Are the perma bears/trolls still screaming doom? I don't see it as much reading through the recent pages.

$500! We made it....

Still curious to see which way this thing is gonna break. I used a significant amount of fiat after April 18th for $480 when I perceived latest round of Chinese FUD to be over (until next time). I won't regret that but do have a little bit more fiat in case we do re-test lows. I'm ready for a reversal, last few months have been tough for our beloved bitcoin (news wise).

I wonder how many people have bought into bitcoin and been killed short term with drops. So they become bitter and start shorting it and then get killed on its way up. Then preach to everyone that the market is manipulated and they predict doom for all on their way out.

Well, for a long term investor, it is really better to not check the charts and the forum for a half year, just like I did last year. Because this price movements are really silly Grin

Day traders are dedicated, I give them that much. I track major bubble movements and overall sentiments, but some stuff I read on here is from 24 hour chart watchers who seem to make decisions and start drawing lines with every $5 fluctuation in price. I could never do that. I just hope they are successful enough to make it worth their while, let alone not lose their shirt. Seems like a sad way to spend a majority of one's time, especially with nice weather on the horizon (here in Canada anyways, I am hoping).

Successful day traders provide a vital function. They are the liquidity providers, the decentral bankers of Bitcoin. They reduce volatility by profiting from it. They accomplish this without even intending to, by looking after their own interest.

Key word there is successful though. Like I said if it is enough to make it worth your while, all the best of course. I fear there are less of you than what is actually admitted to as is always the case with "gambling", even educated gambling.

Edit. Back on topic- fluctuation! Resume speculating.

April 18 was my date to wait for the latest round of Chinese FUD to clear. Almost ready to start buying again with a close eye on the next round from China. Never been a "should I buy at 480 or wait for 450" kind of guy. Eye on the long term future without leaving myself too vulnerable to short term market panic attacks.

How many loop holes can these Chinese exchanges find to keep operating though? Doesn't it seem inevitable that they will be forced to close down once they run out of lives?
1069  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 17, 2014, 11:32:41 AM
Why anyone would buy until the dust settles on China is beyond me. Almost feels like throwing your money away. And no I'm not a greedy bear, I'm not a trader and never sold, just holding and accumulating. But I'm not optimistic about any breakouts until China is done banning, and might be hard to do without them.

Has anyone already pointed out the obvious that the 18-04 deadline might be true?

This has been in the back of my mind the whole time ( I didnt and had no plans to act on it). But as soon as I heard the 18th date I though pumping was occuring until major dumping by then. Was hoping this wasn't the case but if so here comes yet another blood bath. Rough year for bitcoin.

I was wrong about the 3220 wall, it was broken with more bullish sentiment than expected. But the chart I posted yesterday is still following the same pattern, just at a slightly higher price than expected.  we are in a very similar situation to march 4th / 5th at the moment, and the markets are behaving almost exactly the same.

Not many interested in buying in this uncertain climate, so the best guess I can form is, the same as what happened in march.  I think we will settle at around 490 and go sideways again...  until the volume goes very low.

All this can change, based on (valid) news or well executed FUD.  (possessive or negative).

A simplistic way of looking at the market, yet quite often effective.  History repeats itself imho.

So history repeats itself until when? We go to zero?

This thread has become painfully predictable.

Unless Rptellia, Aminorex, Smoothie, Magic Mexican, Adam, Richy T, Bitchick/husband, Jimbo Toronto, Seleme, eurotrash, Fonzie and a few others I am forgetting write something it is the same predicable shit by the same predictable people. My ignore list is through the roof.

Im scared to even drive home, cant take your eyes of this for a second at the moment!

Its not that exciting at the moment. Just a drift not really a gust.

Lol and Huobi is pulling some more fake trades out of their ass to prevent a slaughter.

Says the guy who shorted and is desperately watching for the price to drop.
1078  Economy / Speculation / Re: So.. what the hell happened today? on: April 15, 2014, 01:35:33 PM
Buyer confidence has been restored as April 15 is upon us and Chinese exchanges are still operating, hence the small rally.

The Chinese whales are gradually dumping the coins, while China is gradually banning BTC.

No connection there whatsoever!

Bears get to gloat, Bulls get to gloat, but in the long run, only those who are loading the dice actually get to win.

China is fucking with Bitcoin big style. This rally was all instigated on fake China volume on Chinese exchanges, and the crash will come with real Chinese volume on the USD exchanges.

You can't admit to cashing out your chips and admitting defeat and then expect anyone to follow your predictions. Maybe buy some coins, take a 6 month break from posting and trading, and find yourself a happier person.

I'm starting to see a lot of big green candles, they are quite pretty.
