Thanks for all the support guys - I can only repeat that, super happy about how all of you have are supporting, helping, giving feedback - just feels great and I was hoping to get some community support of course but... you guys are killing it! I will make up for it best I can as soon as I can, promised!  Smiley

By the way, you can also join the telegram group of BTCGosu because it is also a big help when we have questions when it comes to gambling such as verifying the provably fair and so on.  @webtricks is also there who are ready to help the community, he helped me the other day how to verify a bet with Bitsler.

Yeah! BTCGosu is becoming a bigger and genuine gambling community, thanks to @efialtis. So I am ready to help anyone who has any doubt regarding any aspect of gambling in general or any specific casino. I have received couple of PMs from FortuneJack players last week seeking answers on slot working, etc. Considering everything, btcgosu's Telegram channel would be best place to get your doubts solved. If anyone has any doubt, please join and ask your query in this group: https://t.me/btcgosu . Me and others will try our best to show you directions. Hope efialtis won't have any problem using gosu telegram for this purpose. : )

That's perfectly fine even though there's not too much going on in our Telegram... yet! Wink I love the community thing and it's one of my visions, so be prepared for some major updates in the future everybody! Smiley

I would like to get a bigger following on social media (Facebook & Twitter for now) - I do get new followers on a regular base but yeah, now that I am going to publish Press Releases, I may also work on the social side of things. Any ideas? Besides BUYING worthless followers? Cheesy

Thanks guys!

Nb. In the last few days I have seen around 30 people liking my facebook page and I am surprised to be honest - it's not like I have done anything, quite strange. Wink
Can't help you over there efialtis. I'm out of Facebook and Twitter. I regularly follow the Blue Bird social network to look for bitcoin-related news but I don't have an account. Do you believe these two channels can help you to bring much more traffic to your site? Just make sure to not break any of their rules since gambling is a quite sensitive topic.

Not sure about Blue Bird but Facebook and Twitter do help a bit plus there's always the "social signals" metric, so yeah, I would love to grow my social media following - I do know very well I would have to work more on that though. Wink

1064  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥 Pitibet.io ⚡️ SPORTS BETTING | WEEKLY PROMOTIONS 🏆⚽🏀⚾🏈 on: October 20, 2020, 11:47:28 AM
Why exactly are you guys even posting in this thread, seriously? I guess solely for shitposting purposes to meet signature campaign's quotas - you can't be seriously considering using this site... Sorry about that @Pitibet

Here is a reminder of my previous post - should be enough to simply stay away (which 99% of you do anyways, but don't give them a platform guys...!):

Sorry boyptc, you need to open an account to see the sportsbook platform.

Registration is totally free and you can erase, delete or disable your account anytime you want.

Can't we see the games listed on your sportsbook even we're just a visitor?

Is it required to register first?

May I ask what’s the point here? I mean why would you force people to register when they simply want to have a quick look at your offering? I can only speak on my behalf but when I visited your site, first thing I did was navigating to your sports betting section in order to check out your sportsbook - when I realized I couldn’t see without registering, I simply left. My two cents but pretty unusual and quite a turnoff.

Well, I have just had a closer look at pitibet.io and I thought I would share my thoughts from beginning to end.

1) As mentioned before, not being able to see the sports markets etc. without registering is a huge turn-off for me

2) When looking at the homepage, anyone with some sort of web/marketing background would probably notice right away that the site doesn't look very attractive & quite amateurish to be honest

3) Anyway, since I would finally like to have a look at the sportsbook, I clicked on "Join now" so I could register. At the bottom of the registration popup you can find a link to the ToS - unfortunately (by now?!), this link is redirecting to pitibet.io, so there aren't any ToS at all now? At first you had ToS that included KyC etc. and people disliked that - then you suddenly get rid of them for good? Yeah, I am sure you are currently working on these but hey, you have launched a gambling operation you know? People are supposed to trust your service and deposit their hard earned cash

4) I entered my email, password and realized the registration is basically a "newsletter subscription / it's an addon based on the wordpress theme used" - I had to confirm my subscription via email, which I did but unfortunately... I then received an error message: https://pitibet.us11.list-manage.com/subscribe/confirm // Server status / We couldn't process your request at this time. Please try again later. If you are seeing this message repeatedly, please contact Support with the following information etc.

5) I navigated to pitibet.io once more and clicked login when I am being redirected to https://piti.vip/ with an 1009 error screen appearing - The owner of this website (piti.vip) has banned the country or region your IP address is in from accessing this website.

6) I accessed the site once more via VPN, I finally wanna see what all this is about! Now I am once again being redirected to https://piti.vip/ with another login box appearing - very strange stuff but I continue and enter my details - guess what? They don't work, I am trying 3 times and give up.

As a conclusion: I have not managed to check out the site being logged in, I haven't seen the sportsbook offering, nothing. What I know is: The pitibet.io domain name is 41 days old, the piti.vip domain is 35 days old and the website is based on wordpress (I LOVE wordpress but a gambling operator based on WP?!) and uses a free wordpress theme named phlox (pro version is $39)

I wish my initial feeling would have been wrong but it doesn't look like that - for now, this is a prime example of a new gambling site popping up that should be avoided for obvious reasons. Don't take your chances guys, there are other options and I am saying that even though I am happy about every legit (and professional!) new crypto project. Still, risking your money on a gambling site like this at current stage? Don't do this...

It will be a useless promo if wagering from bonus fund is not counted towards wagering requirement as it will be like a Fun Mode playing only.

It's almost that.. otherwise people would abuse this bonus by creating 100.000 accounts..

That makes sense in a way, but overall I think casinos should reconsider this policy. To try their games people can always play in a fun mode. It's not much of a promo, as @panjul07 has rightly pointed out, if absolutely no one has a chance of really winning something. All promos have been abused in this or that way, and, of course, companies have to think of ways of protecting themselves. But running fake promos may be worse than no promos at all. There is an argument that negative publicity can be helpful for raising awareness of an unknown brand, but I disagree with it. As for well-known brands, neg publicity is definitely harmful to them.

Casinos aren’t charity mate - on the contrary of course. You wouldn’t believe how little no deposit promos „help“ and how minimal the amount of people here in this forum is (just an example), who actually not just shitpost in the gambling section in order to meet their sig campaign requirements but also play, for real cash, by making a deposit. You would be surprised... Wink

1067  Economy / Gambling / Re: #4 Bitcointalk Poker Series @ SwC Poker (0.06 BTC, BIG BTC Ticket by SwC) on: October 20, 2020, 09:48:04 AM
I will propose to draw the lottery 30 mins before the start of the big games. OK?

Yes, sure, though I am not involved, so don't really have a say. But if you see no one opposing this idea, just do it at that time, I will watch Smiley

Here are the prizes I calculated on top of the BIG BTC ticket, hope this is correct.

The Chips Prizes for Grand Final

Place  Sponsored by SwC   From Chips Pool
____________________________________________
    1          25,000          13,500
    2          15,000            8,100
    3          10,000            5,400

The prizes for small final will be 5,000/3,000/2,000 for the Top3 as always.

When everything is said and done (and sent^^) 237,000 chips were paid out in total in this series.

Series 1: 310,000
Series 2: 224,000
Series 3: 257,600

15.38 players joined the tournaments on average in this series. We "lost" four regular players (figmentofmyass, SyGambler, BitcoinGirlClub, myself) from the series before and two new (seek3r, famososMuertos) joined for this series. I might give my comeback for a possible 5th series and figment too I guess. That would make it around ~19 regular players, which is a good number to get two tables full every Sunday.

I am not really sure if I would want you to join us - betrayal, bad manners towards me... Tough call...
1068  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [GUIDE] Online Gambling Affiliate - Make Money Promoting Online Gambling on: October 20, 2020, 09:39:25 AM
If you are really sure about that - I mean that you want to give this a try - go for it now, even if you only put up a landing page now - just register the domain for a few bucks and put something on there --> let the domain age, this will help you a lot when you decide you are ready to really work on it. I wish I had registered my BTCGOSU domain earlier - would have saved me lots of time now. Age of a domain is super important for big G...

Also - you wouldn't have to start "big" right away and the starting costs really aren't that much - register a domain for 10 bucks, buy a cheap hosting for another 10 bucks, get yourself a free wordpress theme (there are really nice free WP themes) and write the content. I guess you are thinking about some sort of news blog?

Yep, a kind of blog where I hire people to write the content for me.

About the domains, if I were to register one right now, how many months will it take for Google to take it seriously? I have web hosting already so making a landing page won't be a problem, I just don't want surprises where I leave a domain idle for a few months only to find out Google won't index it high when I'm ready to use it.

Domains are super cheap when you pay for them once a year, but regardless I'm hoping Google doesn't make people wait that long.

Has ICANN ever contacted you about the domains of your sites by the way? I'm not sure how interested they are in investigating affiliate sites but this will give me a heads up to know what to expect in the future.

Google won't rank you highly just because a domain is "aged" but, the age of a domain is definitely one of the various factors and a domain that has been "live" for a couple of months will definitely make your life much easier when you start building the site for real.

Generally speaking, you need to expect at least one year before google starts giving you the rankings your site actually deserves.

Nope, I have never problems with ICANN and that is something I really wouldn't worry about...

Let me know if you need help with anything specifically but listen to me - register that domain, make a little landing page and let it age, now! Wink
1069  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [GUIDE] Online Gambling Affiliate - Make Money Promoting Online Gambling on: October 20, 2020, 08:18:36 AM
Would you be interested in me continuing this thread/guide?

I am currently thinking about starting a new project and (assuming I will go for it), we could even do something like a Journal - how long will it take to build a XXX gambling affiliate site and how long until we start making money? This might even be more interesting than "just" educational posts?

I just saw your group of guides, and they are extremely useful to me as one of my long term plans is to launch an affiliate news site (not really affiliate gambling but close enough). This is not going to happen any time soon though, because I need to secure funding for it.

I benefited from the website design guide the most, I suck at programming websites and design so I end up making old fashioned 90s sites with bare HTML.

I agree with you that Wordpress is a must-use for websites, but the large cache of themes for sale; I wonder if there's a way to buy them with bitcoin.

If you are really sure about that - I mean that you want to give this a try - go for it now, even if you only put up a landing page now - just register the domain for a few bucks and put something on there --> let the domain age, this will help you a lot when you decide you are ready to really work on it. I guess you are thinking about some sort of news blog?

Seriously, I highly recommend going the wordpress route instead of trying to code stuff yourself - I have been there... Cheesy

I am not sure regarding payment for themes via BTC, would have to google.

Are you already planning to do a review for Bustadice and Betnomi?  I have not seen them listed yet.

And then there in the list of house edge differences of each dice game, Lucky.Bit and FreeBitco.in are not there yet, isn't the Hi-lo game of FreeBitco.in considered a dice game?

By the way, you can also join the telegram group of BTCGosu because it is also a big help when we have questions when it comes to gambling such as verifying the provably fair and so on.  @webtricks is also there who are ready to help the community, he helped me the other day how to verify a bet with Bitsler.

I am still waiting to hear back from Bustadice/Bustabit but as long as they don't get back, I won't bother reviewing them and adding them to the site - as much as this may suck, they don't have any kind of affiliate program in place and when planning on adding them, the least I expect is hearing back from them - they couldn't care less it seems but so do I then, sorry about that. Wink Regarding Betnomi, I am waiting for them to deploy their latest updates (they told me would happen any day now) and will review them as soon as possible.

Regarding the house edge comparison - you are right, it's not 100% complete yet - any Hi-Lo game could be considered dice, indeed. Wink

Hey fellas,

thanks for all the feedback - I will be posting an update here soon!

@Globb0 Yeah, sry mate... I will definitely hit you up in the next few days on Telegram so we can chat!

Let's make this great even though I feel it's pretty sick what we 've already accomplished.

We really need a server/channel/group whatever where we can chat besides bitcointalk - regarding discord, I haven't really been doing anything myself on our server, sorry about that. I see around 20 people on our server anyways but I guess it's not like all of our regulars are there, is it? Shall we shift over to TG instead?
1072  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⭐ BTCGOSU ⭐ Your Trusted Guide to the Best Bitcoin Casinos ⭐ on: October 20, 2020, 06:28:47 AM
I look at your website I've seen that you have a list of casino that is good or in compatible with mobile phones. It's great to look at your list since I more likely to play using my mobile phone. This is really helpful to choose which casino I'll be using

There were many attempts to make a good all in one website that covers all the information about gambling websites all in one place from what kind of games they have available to how much and what kind of bonus they are offering but I have to say this website by far looks like is way more complete and detailed and their monthly rankings looks way more realistic than what I previously seen on other review website, probably because those websites were paid to give better ranking to some specific websites, anyways very good job on the website and hope we get to see this website stays active and updated.

Thanks for the kind words guys - rest assured that the site won't be neglected, I am very serious about it and I will try to improve it constantly - have some "crazy" plans for the next year. Wink

This week I am going to do some Press Release stuff - it's time for distribution, BTCGOSU needs to be known among all crypto guys.

Finalists have been registered:

wow Trofo, good Job yesterday, that was very impressive!!

@ efialitis: I can´t remember that we had a runners-up finale in the past, is it the first one?
The 10k chips are sponsored by SwC?

I sucked this series so hard, but I´m very happy to be able to play that "losers" tournament next Sunday Cheesy
Thanks again to everyone who is involved in the organisation, especially to you efialtis!!!

Do you already know when series #5 is going to start? It literally became something like a traditional habit to my Sunday evenings.
I love you all guys  Grin Grin <3

I think except for one time, we have always had a runners-up finale and yes, the 10k chips are generously sponsored by SwC. Smiley

Regarding #5 --> I will post updates in our general poker discussion thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5217547.0 (whose OP still needs to be edited/updated, LOL)

I hope you guys are doing well - things have been tough this year but I can gladly say that I have worked with several translators from the list in the OP and we have successfully completed various translation projects. One or two guys I have been working with are missing and will be added shortly.

The main reason I am bumping this thread now: Please don't forget your fellow translators when you know/learn there is a job opportunity - sharing is caring, don't they say. Smiley
1079  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for Wordpress Expert (Automation of translations / WPML) on: October 19, 2020, 05:28:26 AM
I still haven't found a "perfect" solution to automate import and export of translations (Wordpress), so if you have any idea, I would appreciate you getting in touch.

Manually implementing dozens of translations has really become a pain and there must be a better way? I am not referring to theme translations etc. but to main content - product descriptions etc.

Thank you very much in advance.

@SteamTyme I have updated the sheet - thank you very much for your help.

@Hhampuz Will you be so kind and do the raffle when you get to that?
