I've a question about the edge:

Quote
What is the house edge ?
The house edge is currently set on 1%.
It doesn't mean we take off the 1% when you win or when you cashout.
The house edge is built into the payouts. If you play on 50% chance, your shall expect a profit of x1.98.

Does it mean that investors have no edge at all?
Since it's on the payout and not the winning chances it kinda looks so -that is, is the edge just for the house?.
And if so, why should one invest?

I get what you are saying, but have you asked the rest of the world, aka 7 billion people, if they give a shit about it ? I just talked to my parents the other day about money. Not once did they complained about the current banking system or fiat in general.

it's a generational thing: first entrants in a ponzi don't complain.

i'm having problems when changing password: when I paste it twice the save button remains disabled, while if i type it twice and click on save, then when I log out I can't log in anymore with my previous username/pw. Tried several times with both chrome and firefox.

[edit]: tried to enable 2FA but it did not work too: it says wrong code. Can't be my fault.

it appears to me that even if you're using a BIP32 wallet, you'll still be exposed to a hack from address reuse if you choose to accept multiple payments to a single address.

I thought that it was just a limited screw-up by blockchain.info. So the affair is growing bigger (?)

we're scraping the long-term trend bottom. If it comes off all the bets are off.

Brah, there are shit fiat currencies, fact.  Should compare the dollar to some shit crypto? Cheesy
How many fiat currencies have died in the history of money?
Now how many crypto coins have died over the past year?

If anyone started extorting taxes in any shitcoin they would be quite equally 'stable'. -Hey, sounds like an idea!
But any kind of fiat or debt-'coin' have a limited lifespan.
How many fiat have died? Thousands I guess.

According to an interesting study of the 775 fiat currencies that have existed 599 are no longer in circulation. The median life expectancy for the defunct currencies? Fifteen years. http://dollardaze.org/blog/?post_id=00405

Wait, "existential stability" of Bitcoin, the most unstable thing calling itself a "currency" in the history of the world?! Cheesy

yeah, let's have a stable scamcoin currency!

Any way to import a private key from Blockchain.info?
I tried several times but it did not work, apparently the format is not supported.
