Liverpool still haven't found the right person to fill the gap left by Mane. Nunez, who is plotted as a player in that position, has not been able to make many major contributions. But nunez in the match against Everton he was able to contribute an Assist for Salah goal and that was the best Assist he did. Even so, he still has difficulties in finishing where in the last 6 matches Nunez has not scored a goal.

for everton the defeat to liverpool made them fail to get out of the relegation zone. dyche again failed in this match to get points and he will try hard for the next match to be able to present a victory against Aston villa at the Goodison park stadium.

Liverpool have more than one player in the left attacking wing, Jota, Luis Diaz, and Darwin Nunez are all available in that position for Liverpool and so far Jota have not made much of an impact because of injury and Nunez performance does not completely make up for Mane. However Liverpool were impressive in their convincing win against Everton, Good work Klopp.

If Klopp is not responsible for Liverpool's poor performance, who is responsible? Liverpool management has prepared a huge amount of funds to bring new talented players into the team. Klopp added several players to the squad but Liverpool's performance did not improve. Liverpool's performance has deteriorated day by day. I would say Klopp's poor match tactics have weakened the bond between Liverpool's players. If Klopp is not able to strengthen the bonding between the players then Liverpool should not expect a better performance.
I can't really say who is responsible or why Liverpool are in this current poor form but for what it is the team is putting in lots of hard work to change the situation. Hopefully winning against Everton will be a start of something new and Liverpool to pick up from there.

It seems like Chelsea's search of a goalkeeper will never end.  Grin

Because this time there are rumours like they are interested in the Brentford goalkeeper David Raya. He has played in 23 games in total so far and conceded 30 goals. 8 of these games were clean sheets for him. This is pretty good to me considering the team he plays for. However Chelsea still have contracts with Mendy and Kepa both for two more years now. I wonder what Potter is thinking about this situation. We don't even know if this is his idea. I don't think Chelsea's main problem is a goalkeeper now. They should focus on weak spots in the team first by creating some strategies for them.
Potter does not have faith in Mendy anymore because currently Chelsea have three keepers in the team with a new keeper coming in in the January transfer window. Signing of David Raya will only mean either of the two first choice goalkeepers will have to leave in the summer of any of the three to be loaned out but I don't think Chelsea will be signings a new goalkeeper except they have plans to sell one of theirs.

Exciting news for Paris Saint-Germain fans as both Kylian Mbappé and Lionel Messi have reportedly returned to training today ahead of the highly anticipated match against Bayern Munich. While coach Christophe Galtier may choose to keep the lineup under wraps until he has evaluated their performance, there is no denying the crucial role that these two players have in the team's success. I, for one, am eagerly looking forward to a competitive match filled with thrilling gameplay and beautiful goals from both teams, showcasing their full potential

I wonder if this was originally a "hoax" or did they really recover ahead of time? If this is a trick, then it is very stupid, since Bavaria is unlikely to be impressed. Since I support Bayern, I will be glad to see Messi on the field and Mbappe on the bench  Grin
It's funny that if the first pair can be called a battle of leaders, then the second is a battle of losers. But I think Milan should win at home.
I don't think it was a fake story because indeed he missed out on some games and didn't start the game against Bayern Munich. Bayern Munich went to Paris fully motivated and determined to get a win against PSG at their weak moment and actually got a win. PSG has to prepare for the second leg encounter and be at their best to be able to beat Bayern Munich against all odds.

Now it's safe to say the best footballing nation in Africa is Senegal and it's a well deserved accomplishments. Let see what they'll do in the next AFCON coming up.
It will be difficult for Senegal to win the next AFCON. Personally I feel if Victor Osimhen can remain in form, he can really a big influence to the super eagles. Currently Victor Osimhen is world class and currently on the same level with the likes of Halaand, Rashford and even Mbappe, but I still cannot wrap my head around why the Media isn't selling Victor Osimhen who has scored in almost every game he has played for Napoli and is currently their most valuable player. If his form continues, he can be the differences for the super eagles.
I don’t think the possibility of Senegal winning the next AFCON depends on Victor Osimhen or the performance of the super eagles. I don't even think the Super eagles are in a good position to win the AFCON even now. A lot needs to be done, they need to put in much hard work to achieve this not just the personal brilliance of Victor Osimhen in the next AFCON games.

Barcelona Vs Manchester United I think Barcelona is the Favourite, because based on current form and position on the league table Barcelona is better than Manchester United, and Barcelona are also playing at home giving them the home advantage, so Barcelona is by far the favourites in this very fixture,
And when you check their head to head in camp nou you will see that they are by far favourites, but Manchester United have what it takes to cause an upset on the night and get a result they will take to old Trafford and capitalize on in the revise fixture, even if the compare the quality of players Barcelona have compared to man united Barcelona still have the advantage over man united.
I think it is an even game, Marcus Rashford has been firing his team to victories in the premier league, for Barcelona to beat United, they will have to be at their very best performance. I'm not sure if Casemiro will be available for this fixture but we will see how they perform and if they can make it to the next stages of the tournament.
1066  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: February 12, 2023, 11:09:57 PM
In this season I think the fight for the Bundesliga title will be more interesting than the previous season, because up to the 20th match that has been played by the Bundesliga team it is clear that the first and second and third places are quite close in points. I think Bayern are still a strong candidate but Dortmund are secretly following them in the standings table.

leverkusen who performed well last season by closing the season in 3rd place. now in this season leverkusen seems to have lost its best form because up to the 20th match of the season this season leverkusen still has difficulty competing in the top 4 places. I think they have to change their game in every upcoming match because there are still many games left to improve their form.

I think consistency will be the key to winning the Bundesliga trophy this season, with all contenders keeping very close gap from themselves it is difficult to ascertain who will win at this stage. Dortmund are doing so well this year, with the key players sold out I feared they will not be able to qualify for champions league but they are proving me wrong already.

In this season, Algeria is playing well. Their defense and attack is very strong. Now Algeria and Senegal match is going on and it is about to end , though the match has finished and Algeria controlled the ball in the pitch. Algeria 0 - 0 Senegal. African teams in this time, they are trying their best in the football game space.

I think it was a shocking ending as Algeria was defeated by senegal and although the game ended in a penalty shootout and Algeria lost, still I don't blame them as penalty aren't the best well to judge a team's capabilities. It's a luck based exercise with few skills coming to play. A team could play better than yours in all aspects and another team can just be lucky with the penalty shootout. Big congratulations to Senegal though for winning the tournament and they do deserve it also congrats to Madagascar for taking third.

Senegal has just showed their dominance in Africa football by winning both continent's senior men competitions but I was quite surprised they didn't take this same spirit to the world cup stage to represent us properly. Now it's safe to say the best footballing nation in Africa is Senegal and it's a well deserved accomplishments. Let see what they'll do in the next AFCON coming up.
Penalty shootouts don't only depend on individual expertise but it also involves luck, a team can win 5 games in a row  in shootouts and lose the next to an unlucky day that is why I don't pray for any team I support to end their match in shootouts. Congratulations to Senegal who have shown they are true African champions by wining back to back continental championships.

There are two games on Tuesday, but everyone is focused on the game between PSG and Bayern Munich. Actually, I'm going to do like everybody else and watch this match. PSG have too many injured players. Also, we read a lot of news that there are some minor disagreements within the team. They will continue to be champions in the French league, but I do not think it will be easy for them to advance further in this arena. I think it's hard to talk about the result of the first match, but I think Bayern are the favorites of the tour.
PSG vs Bayern Munich is the blockbuster match and a long anticipated game so everyone including myself will be waiting to witness it but I don't feel it will be as interesting as I would have expected it to be because of the many injuries PSG are incurring recently, without Messi and Mbappe available for PSG I think the game will be going in one direction, in favour of Bayern Munich.

With the convincing win against Aston Villa, Man City are only 3 points behind Arsenal although Arsenal have a game in hand. This is the kind of pressure I would have loved Arsenal to avoid. We all know how Man City can get at this point of the season. They can even get up to 15 games winning streak when they are in that mode. Topping with the fact that Pep is angry at the league because he feels there are direct attacks against them.

I still have a lot of faith in Arsenal and I believe they can win this. The season is still long and anything can happen but Arsenal's chances of winning the league just got smaller. If Man City wins their next fixture which is against Arsenal and goes top of the table then that's a wrap because nothing is bringing them down at that point.
Manchester City took advantage of the game and grabbed all three points to narrow the gap from Arsenal to three points. This will definitely mount more pressure on Arsenal to put in more effort to maintain their lead, City is a powerhouse in the EPL but I’m a dreamer and hoping the underdogs Arsenal will keep up the dream alive and stay consistent. Hopefully they will win against City and move a couple of steps away from Manchester City.

Sunday's transfer gossip:

Liverpool may be willing to sell 'superstar' players, including Egypt forward Mohamed Salah, 30, this summer. Salah has almost become an icon and legend of the club all these years and it is somewhat unexpected that he will leave the club. Is it a good decision by the club?

Source: https://www.bbc.com/sport/64611363
I think Liverpool will be looking to build not just for the present but for the future. I am expecting to see young players coming in from now on. Players like Mo Salah have served the club diligently but as time passes it is expected that they move on to other challenges due to their age. Also I doubt Klopp will keep going as Liverpool manager by the end of the season, there are signs the management are already frustrated and may be considering their options for a new manager.
1071  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 11, 2023, 06:05:09 PM
Currently Manchester United really need the presence of a quality striker in their squad, the arrival of Wout Weghorst has not made Ten Hag feel satisfied because he was only on loan for half a season at Old Trafford. According to reports circulating, Manchester United want to bring Osimhen to Old Trafford, but Napoli will not easily let go of one of their deadly strikers.

Apart from that, Harry Kane has also been on Manchester United radar, but Manchester United has a heavyweight competitor, namely Bayern Munich. Apart from that, Tottenham may also be reluctant to let Kane go to one of their rival clubs. Manchester United have included the name Tammy Abraham on their shopping list to strengthen their front line. To bring in Abraham, Manchester United must prepare a certain amount of money because he is still under contract with Roma until 2026.

Suppose Victor Osimhen makes a move to Manchester United it will be a really brilliant move and will definitely improve their attack and make them formidable. However for the time being, they have Martial and Weghorst as their attacking options and so far Erik Ten Hag have improved the squad and getting results with them so until the summer transfer window we will be seeing this players leading the lines for United.

Manchester City and Arsenal are currently facing the pressure of maintaining top form and staying consistent till the end of the season and the fact that they now have Manchester United on their tails has increased the pressure. This weekend games was Arsenal’s opportunity to either increase the lead points, I’m surprised Arsenal is having a hard time against Brentford, it seems the game is ending in a draw unless one side scores a late minute goal.
1073  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 11, 2023, 04:00:04 PM
Sean Dyche is a really unlucky manager. Because his first match with Everton was against Arsenal home and this time they are going to play against Liverpool in Anfield. However Everton still managed to surprise us. One goal was enough for the win despite leaving the ball to Arsenal players mostly. He is an expert in such matches with small teams as well of course. He managed teams like Burnley and Watford you know. He played such matches many times before.

Hence it would be for the benefit of Liverpool to be careful here. They already lost to Wolves by a shocking score. This must have been a lesson for them hopefully.
Really tough way to begin his career at Everton but he has shown confidence in himself and in his squad and hopefully against Liverpool they will replicate same performance they did against Arsenal. Another tough one for Klopp come Monday, I just hope he survives this one because it's going to be tough test yet again, will he overcome this test or continue his poor record.
1074  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 11, 2023, 02:40:14 PM

Manchester United may pay €100m for the Harry Kane transfer, but they may not be able to make the same money from the next sale. I don't think they would spend that much on Harry Kane. I agree with you on this. If they spend this amount of money on young football players, they will make a better decision. Also, Leao can be added next to Osimhen and Kudus. He is also a very talented football player. Also, if I'm not mistaken, his contract would expire this season. I think he is the best option for Manchester United.
Harry Kane is an incredible striker, I wouldn't mind signing for such an amount because he brings value to the team, his attributes and experience in front of goal precedes him so I approve if Manchester United are willing to sign him for that amount.

There is a really interesting rumour going around these days.

PSG are speculated to be interested in bringing Pep Guardiola to the team in case he decides to leave Manchester City. If he really leaves then this would be a huge opportunity for PSG actually. It is really hard to find solid managers like Guardiola these days. He has only the Champions League title as a target to achieve for Manchester City now. If he achieves it in this season then maybe he might really think seriously upon this action. I remember one time he seemed like he would think of leaving the team in the future.

If he signs for PSG then they would need to enter a revolution phase. Because Guardiola has a different system and he would like to see the players who can be useful in that.
I would have believed this news only if Pep Guardiola had not released a statement saying he loves Manchester city and would love to remain with Manchester City for more years but only if it is discovered that he was not lied to by the board of Directors. So unless the case with Manchester City ends with City being found guilty, Pep will be staying.

Source: https://www.goal.com/en-bh/news/lionel-messi-injury-prompts-psg-champions-league-concern-bayern-munich-approaching/blt2b29fd79512d0172

After Kylian Mbappe who had to be absent due to injury in the match against Bayern Munich in the first leg of the UCL playoffs, now it's Lionel Messi's turn to be doubtful for that match due to a hamstring injury against Marseille in the Coupe de France yesterday. It seems that this is bad news for all PSG supporters and of course the PSG squad will not appear at full strength against Bayern Munich in the first leg later. Galtier must be very dizzy watching his players get injured one by one and there seems to be no doubt that Bayern Munich's victory in the first leg is in sight.
If Lionel Messi is not available for the game against Bayern Munich it will be a big blow to the team already having Kylian Mbappe sidelined to injury for this fixture. I'm wondering how PSG will cope with these players absented. If both players miss out then the probability of Bayern Munich winning will be high against PSG.

Klopp's mistake is why Liverpool's performance is poor now. Before a player can be sold, his replacement must be taken into the team. Klopp sold an essential player like Sadio Mane without leaving a replacement. This is a sign of ignorance. We don't expect such stupid decisions from an experienced coach like Klopp. Also, Liverpool's performance did not improve even though Nunez was brought in as Mane's replacement. There are plenty of star players in the Liverpool squad. But only Mohamed Salah is an experienced striker or finisher. Klopp could now bring in an experienced midfielder to replace Sadio Mane.
In this case I don't think the problem now is finding replacement because Liverpool have made signings after Mane's departure, They have signed Luis Diaz, Gakpo and even Darwin Nunez and yet the problem still persists so right now I can't say or figure out what the problem could be now, the expression on Klopp's face tells how much frustration there is with the current decline of the team.
1076  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 11, 2023, 01:48:30 PM

I won't recommend Aubameyang going to MLS, he doesn't have the ability to stay relevant if he goes over there unless he's ready to retire and that would be very disappointing considering how promising his career was just few months back. I still don't understand why he left Barcelona that he fitted in properly. Even though Barcelona were prioritizing Luwadusaksi over him, still he would had stayed and his competition with Luwadusaksi would had kept him relevant.

Him returning to the premier league was just like the same mistakes Ronaldo made returning back to the premier league. Both stars would had had a better career staying in the La Liga side, their style of football is less physical and direct and more entertaining to watch. I think Aubameyang should just stay at Chelsea and try to fight for his position until he gets a better offer probably form a top league in Europe and possible, he should return back to the La Liga to finish what he started over there.

If Aubameyang eventually moves away from the EPL I don't think he will be heard of anymore, even now that he is playing in the premier league his reign and glory days is fast fading away. We won't be hearing about him if he makes a move away from England. Only reserved players like Ronaldo, Messi, have that level of attention from football lovers around the world.

The latest rumors come from Atletico Madrid who are interested in signing Sofyan Amrabat from Fiorentina in the summer transfer market. We know that Amrabat's performance was quite impressive when he defended Morocco at the 2022 world cup and he also played an important role in bringing Morocco to the semifinals. Diego Simione seems to need his services as a central midfielder to strengthen Atletico Madrid next season and it looks like if he accepts Atletico's offer it will make his career shine even more.
Amrabat's performance in the world cup ofcourse was remarkable and has put him in the list as one of the admired midfielders. Before now Fiorentina were not willing to sell but in the summer I feel that decision might change, Fiorentina might consider cashing in on a deal with Amrabat. An extra power in the midfield will be needed to strengthen Atletico Madrid's midfield and increase their options.

Dortmund vs Chelsea is a good match. Chelsea have been performing badly I know but Dortmund has not been at their best this season. They are 3rd in the Bundesliga but they are not playing the football that they are capable of. It could be a interesting match up because Chelsea are looking for some success and when I have seen them play they have looked dangerous. I think they have been unlucky for most of their losses this season.

Chelsea now have the likes of Reece James and Chilwel back from injuries. Felix is also back from suspension so he should be available for this game. Let see how Chelsea perform against West Ham tomorrow to determine how ready they're for the champion league game, I understand this are two different tournaments but it could give us some idea on what we should be expecting from Chelsea in the game against Dortmund. I think Chelsea are the side under more pressure due to their January spending and they're out of all other cup competition meaning if they should depart from this as well, then the media will come for them and such negative attention could affect the rest of their season.

It's that time of the season when Graham Potter has to show the world that he's the right man for the Chelsea coaching job because if he gets his selection wrong this time around and plays someone like Havertz upfront when we have the new signings that are yet to be utilized like Fofana then he has to be joking as he doesn't understand his job. Even me that I'm not a manager understand that Havertz plays better as a second striker and not the main target.
It is good news for Chelsea and a huge boost having their key players returning from injury and now seeing them train with the first team squad. The lineups are out for today's game and Joao Felix is back in the line up for Chelsea, Loftus Cheek also back with Reece James available so hopefully Chelsea have an opportunity to redeem themselves and prove a point today in their epl fixture and in the Champions league when they face Dortmund.
1078  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 11, 2023, 12:28:21 PM
I'm really looking forward to the Merseyside derby this time which will be the Liverpool v Everton match, to be honest even though Everton is playing away but I expect Everon to win. Maybe on paper it is an impossible result for Everton to beat Liverpool at Anfield and in fact, the odds factor also shows that Liverpool are still projected to win with odds of 1.50 : 6.00.

But because in the previous match Liverpool lost heavily by Wolves with a score of 3-0, and Everton managed to beat Arsenal with a score of 1-0. Therefore, because Everton is also struggling to get out of the relegation zone and Liverpool must prepare the team better for the Champions League match against Real Madrid.

So I think, Liverpool have a very difficult pressure in this match and maybe Everton will be able to use it to beat Liverpool and get out of the relegation zone.

Nothing is impossible in the world of football, if you wish Everton to win I won't disagree with you because it is possible. Liverpool are still struggling to build the team and change the current poor run of form and going against Everton today a team who seem to be geared up by the impact of the new manager will want to get atleast a point from this game. In my opinion, Everton have winning odds in their favour against Liverpool.

I’m afraid the cons outweigh the pros in this case, because in Nigeria there are lots of “fake men of God” that extort their members by different means. Even the innocents ones can be exploited, I remember in 2019/2020 when forex trading become so popular in a city, churches were used as an outlet for forex trading companies to promote their business, all they had to do was convince the head pastor that they were legit and the pastor most times give them their platform to speak to church members. Later when the scam company disappeared with all the funds, the churches suffer loss of their flock because the trust between the church and its members was lost.

People just want the fastest option to make money, newbie crypto investors believe it’s too late to invest in bitcoin so they are more interested in buying altcoins and investing in ICOs that have the probability of multiplying their investments ten times. Altcoins are the most unpredictable investment in my opinion, who would have thought meme coins would become so popular and people would become millionaires from it.
