Gambling addicts are not the main victims, because they are not aware of the effects, their families are the main victims because they have to suffer, they don't do anything but have to accept the suffering. It's very sad. We can imagine that one of our family members is addicted to gambling and we become Victims of hardship because of our family's actions, we don't have the heart to let ourselves suffer. the chain of negative effects is difficult to determine

Not to find a family with no problem that troubles their economy, is rare. The society consists of lots of people with different priorities. People are meant to solve a problem according to their perspective of solving the problem. Families, some, may not be able to know the how about of healing gambling addiction. It'll be a torn in the flesh of the home, because it'll stay within their rich skin for long, itching and causing discomfort. When a family member gets compulsive, it's the duty of the family to help him out of the trouble. If they can't get a reasonable idea on what to do, friends could assist. If the healing process takes up lots of money from the family's economy, nobody would be happy with the incident. As it's considered not a good moment, when a family member is struggling, they'll be countless sleepless nights, stress, troubles, and lots of side talks to deal with as the family member. Then consider how the person, would feel about this when he gets better and returns home.
1062  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Land-based Casino Enjoyers are something else. on: January 14, 2024, 08:46:36 PM
Not really that surprised about this news, to be honest. I had already seen some very wacky news coming from gamblers in brick-and-mortar casinos here in Bitcointalk. I recall someone previously shared news on a gambler who decided not to get up his chair to go to the bathroom, so defecated his pants while gambling. I also think to remember there was some news about a tourist who was about to sit down in front of a machine,.only to realize that sit was wet with urine.
I have seen people who play videogames for many consecutive hours, so they decide to pee in bottles by their computer. If videogames can push someone to behave that way, then imagine what gambling could make us to do in case we get addicted to it.

Either way, it is quite a sad situation to be in, as a gambler addicted person, not to longer care about ones needs in that way.

It's actually a tough psychological problem, that glues the gambler to the machine. Like in the video gamers, some gamblers find it hard to leave their computer. The screen addiction coupled with the gambling problem is enough to get an online gamer addicted, as well. Offline casino is fun, but the addictive part of it is more embarrassing. Reading the examples, you just provided. It's quite getting out of hand. How people who gamble misbehave in the house. However, people receive responses differently. Those who can't leave the gambling seat and ease themselves, may have forgotten about every other thing, and focuses on gambling, or he could be undergoing a sickness that makes him lack country over himself or feel some impulses.
1063  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A brief advice for the newbie gamblers. on: January 14, 2024, 05:54:21 PM
Also, the advice that should be given to newbies in gambling is to not place too much hope in gambling that you will win at any time that you engage in it. Keep in mind that the chances that you will lose will be far greater than the chances that you will win. you might win twice a month or not at all, depending on your level of luck.
On a short note, there is up to 99% chances that you could loose and just about 1% probability chances that you may win while gambling.
So newbies, your enlightenments on a specific game in real life shouldn't give you a falseful hope to be an expert predictional while stepping on the gambling board.

A gambler should be advice not to gamble in a casino that allows him only 1% to win. It's a bad house edge. A casino is expected to offer at least 2% of winning for the gambler. Newbie should understand this and follow the needful rules needed to minimize the losing possibility. Such that even if they lose more than the win, it wouldn't be a huge gap of difference. On the long run the player could be having a more reasonable winning chances, depending on the bank roll. So, to keep up with this challenge, the player needs to have an extra source of income. Instead of choosing gambling as the only form of earning money. The gamblers who earn income, easily have a well-organized gambling routine compared to the inexperienced gamblers.
1064  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Alter Ego In Gambling on: January 14, 2024, 05:46:13 PM

First we need to know what is EGO in gambling. I think any gambler Ego will be if he or she do not want to lose in gambling and losing in gambling go against his ego. These things can go against the gambler in a very bad way because if the gambler lost in gambling, in order to fulfill the  ego of not losing, he will continue to play to get himself in profit.

This ego and desire of winning may turn out to be bad for the gambler as if he again loses, it will further hurt his ego plus at the same time he will lose more money.

Therefore for a gambler it is very important that he/she plays without any ego's and accept the loses which comes along the way. The gambler should know that losing is a part of gambling just as winning, that is again a part of gambling.

Ego in gambling means according to the op is that he acts in a strange way while gambling. Which lifestyle doesn't correspond to his real-life attitude. He only gambles compulsively and takes lots of risks while gambling. Hence the gambler may be enjoying the behavior or is not having the right orientation about gambling. I don't know how he's able to achieve such an act, like actors do in movies. If what he does while gambling doesn't affect his daily life attitude. He is required to stay observant of his moves, such that he wouldn't have a hard time with reviving himself back when facing symptoms of problem gambling. Limitations pays off in gambling. That's where the most work is need as a gambler. Meddling with our emotions while gambling could be risky on the long run. As our life still plays a big role in the gambling process.
1065  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling all about luck? on: January 14, 2024, 05:34:58 PM

It is better not to plan to earn money from gambling, especially if gambling is not the main source of income, it would be better to earn in some other way. Gambling earnings are uncertain and these earnings are not in a systematic way. It is not guaranteed that every bet in gambling will result in profit but it is certain that every bet in gambling will result in loss.
Gambling depends a lot on luck but if luck favors many can become rich overnight from gambling and many can go from rich to poor due to failure of luck. No matter how much gambling technique or experience you have, losing or going bankrupt in gambling is really a matter of luck. Gambling essentially leads to an uncertain future and every gambler is attracted and addicted to this game of fortune knowing this eternal truth.
You can earn something in gambling, but most likely these earnings will not be permanent, I draw some analogies with trading, there will always be winning and losing bets, and how good a gambler you are will determine your balance for a period, a week or a month.

In gambling, there are games in which you can rely only on luck, like roulette, but there are other games in which the result will largely depend not only on luck, but also on your skills and knowledge. If you choose a narrow direction and work in it, then over time the results can improve.

Luck plays a huge role in gambling. It's not a game with certain results. Gamblers know about this but try to beat around the bush with winning strategies, which doesn't happen. Vendors even sell predictions to gambler, and it won't play accurately. So, gambling is a personal arrangement between the gambler and the house. The player needs to have a personal skill he uses to try different means of beating luck. Though it's not possible to beat the house edge, but with a little bit of luck a gambler can win more money that he'd ever imagined in his entire life. That feeling of being rich came to play, the gambler may not be able to get hold of previous days lifestyle before the day he won big. His price increases, change of utilities and wagering high amounts on gambling. Which dwindles the amount of money left in the player's bank roll.
1066  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who does gambling addiction affect the most? on: January 14, 2024, 05:21:39 PM
The addiction affect the gambler the most because he or she happens to suffer so much emotionally and other wise and some of them end up damage such that they don't get to recover in a life time, they suffer from some trauma caused by the addiction and this is not something they get rid off in a day, sometimes it stays with they through a Life Time

The family and others Also suffer from the effects of the gambling addiction on the gamblers but then nota s much as this gamblers do suffers.
The mental trauma it leaves on the gambler is the main trouble. Two problems exist in the life of an addicted person, prior troubles, the one he felt while he was addicted and the post trouble, that he would undergo while he's been accredited a sound person. He would live forever with whatever mistake he made during his healing process. However, the family can decide to help him all way to the end. But it could be stressful for some other person, since they've got their troubles to look into and solve, too. No family member would be pained like the addict when they remember the past event on the addict's behavior. The family member could forget about it immediately, but the addict would end up thinking of it for a long time. And finds it very difficult to divorce the past.

1067  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can loneliness make one addicted to gambling on: January 14, 2024, 05:11:53 PM
Lonely ness is the main reason of addection of any thik. Many people do it in good way. Maximum people do it in bad way. Many addected with drug's. Maximum people are addected with bad habits. Many use gambling for leaving lonlyness. But its harmful for economical condition. So find an other way to move on.
Loneliness not only leads us to become gambling addicts, but it depends on the environment we live in, the environment and the friends we have, it will affect our lives indirectly if we are lonely.

That's true, the environment also helps to lead us to gambling addiction, when you are lonely and the place where you at are composed of many
gambler, it influences you to try and find that entertainment inside casino.

It's helping to develop more interest in playing the game and give you more time to keep coming back, and from that scenario you already
find the comfort and that's the possible start of gambling addiction.

You need to take into account that aside from the emotion that being filled the environment also helps to keep you playing for more.

The environment are two ways; living around gamblers, and staying alone, but thinks about gambling. The later describes the thread. A situation where a gambler is not comfortable staying idle and decides to engage into gambling. Without having prior research on how it works. Negligence does more harm to anybody, but the gamblers have tougher harsh reward for not doing their research. In the sense that the person, who new engages in gambling out of heartbreak or failed relationship can easily get compulsive in gambling. So, loneliness in this context indeed effects to addiction. Newbie gamblers need to understand what they're practicing, before indulging into it. But the lonely person is exempted, since his only fault was thinking about gambler, he had nobody to guide or discuss about gambling. Their experience is quite a difficult one to threat.
1068  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does signing up with affiliate links gives these benefits? on: January 14, 2024, 04:43:36 PM
For example, when someone wins a big multiplier and multiplies their account by 100x, then some casinos take a long time to process the withdrawal, or they may not even give the money. however, some say that if you sign up using a good affiliate or influencer affiliate code which have huge audience, then you won't face these type issues. also, if you promote the casino using your referral link, they might not hold back your withdrawal because you helped them get new customers.

This isn't true, any casino that cares about its reputation will not be involved in such shady practice, and if there is an actual warning triggered by the security system the bets or withdrawals will be put on hold until further verification irrespective of the individual. Referrals is more benefit for the one who share the code with you because they will get some fraction of your lost bet to that casino forever.

Casinos capitalize on affiliate marketing for driving streams of traffic to their website. Then maximize profits in the process, by sharing the earnings according to the agreement between the platform and the affiliate marketer. Rarely have I seen a situation where a brand didn't meet up with their side of the deal. However, in every niche we have the low ballers, who wants to take advantage of the efforts of the affiliate marketer and rip them with no payment. Hence, it's also the duty of the affiliate marketer to research about the casino before accepting to work as an affiliate. They're some reputable casino that pay their marketers, a few searches could do, but we need to discuss with other affiliate that promotes the casino, to understand better the ways of the casino before participating in the affiliate program. Since it requires a whooping amount of money to promote a brand on the internet of today. Working aimlessly for a brand that wouldn't pay as promising, is annoying and need to be raised as a dispute on the casino.
1069  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You'll be a discipline gambler in sports if you have a real bankroll. on: January 14, 2024, 04:30:15 PM
Having discipline in gambling does not depend on having a bankroll or only using the money we can afford because having discipline means we take care of ourselves, so we don't gamble excessively. We know that if we gamble excessively, we will definitely spend more money, which we may not be able to accept if we lose. We may try to recover from that defeat so that we will only experience an even greater defeat.

But there may be gamblers who have a special bankroll that is used for gambling so that it can help them to stay within their limits. He feels he is able to gamble sufficiently within the bankroll limit and divides it into his gambling day schedule so that he will not try to gamble more than his limit. It will depend on how we can be responsible in playing gambling so that we can treat gambling as entertainment.

Discipline may differ like courses we read in school. A gambler may be disciplined in managing his bank roll but can't repeat same expertise in managing the time he gambles. Hence, he won't get the actual fun of gambling. Because one needs to enjoy their habit for a little bit longer. If a gambler is not able to gamble with his bankroll up to the time it pleases him. Wouldn't deem himself as a gambler that those the right thing for himself. Therefore, if a gambler could manage his bank roll and battle with time management. He could end up failing himself someday. As these factors have similar connection, so is the brain and the body of the gambler. The player may not have the ability to sustain his money management skill if he's proficient in time management.
1070  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Woes of gambling on: January 14, 2024, 04:06:54 PM
These games seem to benefit the house; casinos aren't established on luck, right? I often think about how games give the impression of control. Players are told their strategy or choice matters, but do they? An atmosphere structured for profit creates a false sense of control. There's another perspective. Human nature, as you said, is important. Risk and reward attract us, right? The excitement of what if, a prospective win. Isn't this our evolutionary instinct, which helped our ancestors survive? Our nature may be manipulated in this complicated psychology-business relationship. Isn't awareness the first step to change
Casinos are established for the purpose of making a profit from losing gamblers so if gamblers want to make money, they should not seek it from gambling because they will end up losing a lot. Gambling does not deceive the gamblers but because of the gamblers greed which causes them to experience large losses and lose their money. And unfortunately, many gamblers don't realize this and instead try to keep winning. The human nature of wanting to win a lot makes them fall deeper into gambling, causing problems such as bankruptcy, broken homes, and even the worst, gambling addiction. That is why we must have awareness and self-control so that we don't get too deep into gambling and can stop ourselves at the right time so we don't experience these problems.

No party is getting deceived in this phycology-business relationship with a signed agreement. The gambler should play victim when the casino isn't complying to the agreement but shouldn't make things look otherwise if the fault comes from his, the player's, end. Casino takes responsibility when need arises as regards to the treatment of gamblers or complaints of different issues like withdrawal or deposit dispute. They don't leave it without solving the trouble. But gamblers allow their troubles to compile without looking into solving few of them. These signs visit every gambler, some solve it while few more wouldn't care about the troubles. The need to know how they feel about themselves since they started gambling, is required in regulating the thoughts of gamblers.
1071  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tips to avoid compulsive thoughts related to anxiety on: January 14, 2024, 03:07:53 PM
Managing compulsive thoughts linked to anxiety can be challenging, but some techniques can help. Practicing mindfulness, deep breathing, or even distracting yourself with hobbies can offer relief. Remember, a balanced lifestyle, including a healthy diet, plays a role.

Anxiety can be controlled and the best way to do it according to doctors here where I live now is to keep doing activities you love and no not gambling, following an afternoon class of what you like for example dancing, going for running or watching comedies in theaters as this has resulted in a much lower anxiety compared to people who don't practice such things.

That's right, one of them is by doing activities that we like because when you do things that you like then obviously you will feel happy and this feeling can reduce your anxiety level, on the other hand people say that their goal is to gamble to get pleasure and entertainment, yes maybe I can justify that idea if they have a very good and good approach in their gambling activities and far from being excessive. but in my opinion seeking pleasure by gambling is better to avoid it because it is very vulnerable to bad things over time, I mean humans have a forgetful nature which means it is very possible that you can forget some boundaries and self-control if you make gambling a place to gamble and far from being excessive, But in my opinion, seeking pleasure by gambling is better to avoid because it is very vulnerable to bad things over time, I mean humans have a forgetful nature which means it is very possible that you can forget some boundaries and self-control if you make gambling a place to seek pleasure which eventually unconsciously gets carried away and experiences many problems.

So it's better to avoid this and don't make it an alternative to seeking pleasure with the aim of reducing anxiety, anyway there are also quite a lot of other things that can be done as you said about the recommendations of the doctors, and maybe I will also add some of them such as always thinking positively and having enough sleep hours, this will help you to stay healthy and reduce anxiety.

Behavior therapy works fine and addicted people who use such therapy can easily forget about gambling. The neurosis would stop emerging. It's a matter of determination and will power to stop receiving the neurosis. However, demystification helps in removing the doubts and hearsay clamoring the brain of the addict. Most people haven't seen, in the first time, clearly what gambling is about. They still stay in fantasies of wealth. Those fantasies need to be removed in the memory of the addict. Hence, he can then gamble at his will since he doesn't feel moved by the crazy things that makes gambling fun. A gambler who then gambles for the sake of attempting what he likes, can easily avoid gambling at any given time. The invisible hand as Adam Smith said, may still get him to gamble, but only when he is in need of it.
1072  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who is the money manager? is it a casino or game provider? on: January 13, 2024, 06:27:08 PM
So who actually manages finances? is it the casino itself or the game provider? Does the casino only get a commission from the game provider or buy the game license from the game provider?
Technically the casino itself as they are the main investors and they just hire the third party services for a commission basis or depends on their contract. The purpose of the game provider is to give access for the games and not to fund the whole casino itself, they are doing business in return of their game service. Not sure though if all the casinos have the same agreement, but as far as i know the casinos are the main manager.

I don't think casinos have different agreement with the gaming provider, what you said is happening behind the scenes. Although we may not say accurately how it happens or the way casino configure the gaming software in their favor. Because looking at the house edge the casino has control over the results we get from the games. While the gaming provider gives access to the game, does it mean the casino also has the right to change some commands on the software. That, I may not explain, but it's safe to say, yes. As the provider only offers a service and casino need to maximize profits. Other thing that confuses me is the provably fair feature, the casino guarantees players that nobody interferes with the outcome of the game. Hence, it's another view of idea, which means the casino could contact the gaming provider to configure the games in their favor, while the casino wouldn't bother changing a thing in the software to keep to their provably fair promise.
1073  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Advice when you are going a bit far in gaming and betting on: January 13, 2024, 06:17:44 PM
that's true, there are some of them who gamble with a target when they are going to gamble, but when they have gambled and got a win they don't cash it out but continue the game with a higher bet amount, with this I think gambling can influence thinking. someone who plays it, where someone who has a target can change their motives if they are already in gambling You are right maybe this is because of greed that drives them to take this risky action and indeed I have also experienced this risky action, I think this can be avoided with self-awareness.

I've felt what you said, where I gambled with the aim of not winning but just getting bored and I also didn't care about the money I deposited so I played without being careful,  but in the end it was the same as winning because I won. which was quite large and at that moment without thinking twice I immediately cashed it in, because that was the best choice if I had won.

I don't think gambling is responsible for changing the player's mind, money did. As human we tend to spend higher when we have bigger money in the bank account. It's rare to find a billionaire who would be comfortable staying in the slums. Same applies to every aspect of life, as gamblers we may have drafted the amount of money to wager per game, but due to an unexpected win the gambler can easily increase his budget. To control this the gambler doesn't need to have access to the money. However, with a good self-control the person may handle the wins without adding any extra money to his designated wagering amount. Moreover, if the player is influenced by alcohol, he'd have a hard time with minimizing his gambling costs. Gambling with our self in control, not having any other substances added to the brain, is quite a better advice to share within the gambling community.
1074  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you regret also for ever knowing about gambling? on: January 13, 2024, 05:42:13 PM
I can't regret knowing about gambling even if I have had so many ugly incidents about it.If one should follow the bad thing that gambling has done to him or her,you will see that so many people would wish to be able to quit, you only wish because it isn't easy to quit gambling.Gambling addiction is just like getting addicted to drugs, thesame way that drug addicts behave is how people who are addicted to gambling behaves.

Gambling is a form of entertainment and if you're gambling for entertainment you can't regret knowing about gambling. You can only regret when you consider gambling as a way of making money but as you're gambling and not making money you come frustrated, gambling isn't a source of making money. If you're making money just thank God and enjoy the benefits while it lasts. The more you gamble the more you'll realised winning is just luck and not because you have any special talents.

You'll regret knowing about gambling when you become addicted and losing money always. Gambling addicts don't know they're losing money as they're so adducted to gambling. The only realised after they're done wasting so much money gambling and they're in debts. Gambling is very addicted and will make you lose money or you shouldn't focus on making money instead of entertaining yourself and having fun.

Gamblers don't need to have a single cent of regret for spending money on gambling. It's a personal decision, though, behavior changes and some couldn't realize or recur their actions anymore. Hence gambling should be blamed for doing that to the player, no. Everyone accountable for whatever mental dispute they've gotten into due to gambling, because it was self-inflicted. Blaming others or those who introduced the addict into gambling won't solve a problem. The player only needs to show some remorse for misbehaving, and he'd be closer to becoming a better gambler. Regretting would be the last thing on my mind as a gambler as it doesn't change the mistake. Restricting my next moves could be more helpful. I'd only regret wallowing in the past, regretting.
1075  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you take time to read the terms and conditions of casinos before registering? on: January 13, 2024, 05:27:40 PM
What could be the cause of too many individuals not being able to read long texts and manuals?

That is easy to explain. The reason we arent able or refuse to read long texts are our mobile phones and social media. People used to read at home, in public transport, on the vacation and etc. Now people dont let go of the mobile. As soon as we get a free minutes, we take our mobiles and start scrolling or swiping. We are used to receiving small portion of information. If something is longer than a tweet or reels, we skip. We need more and more, new and new info. And there is a ToS, 5-20 pages with wall of text and no pictures. Of course nobody would read it.

In essence, I think people today prefer to just choose something they want and of course something that looks attractive, like the scenario you conveyed which is a true fact about the habits of people today, cell phones seem to have become integrated into us or what that means is something like has become a very important part of life, none other than because apart from a lot of information that we can always get from various social media that exist today, on the other hand cellphones can also give us many benefits such as getting entertainment just by swiping or scrolling the screen or something. other things, basically everything there is very interesting which makes people increasingly unable to spend even a little time without playing on their cellphones, but not everything there they like, people tend to prefer the pictures they see, and also more I like listening rather than reading and I think as you said that this is one of the reasons why gamblers usually ignore the few pages about ToS recommended by some casinos, although basically it is important but they will not really care because there is nothing that looks interesting there.

It'll be a hard time for nonreaders to get along with businesses that requires long texts of agreement. Online gamblers are mainly social media users and they already have fallen addicted to the screen and think that whatever site they see on the internet should be treated like any social media platform. Not realizing that gambling platforms requires attention and dedicated time to study some certain write up before participating. However, the community already has a conducive environ for people who has a financial problem with the casino. But the environ isn't conducive for a gambler who breaks a rule of the casino. Even the best lawyer wouldn't get the gambler out of the dispute successful, that is get his money back. That's why it's advisable for people to make out time and read those TOS written by a voluminous writer who doesn't care if the reader is an avid reader or not.
1076  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are successful gamblers seen as addicts? on: January 13, 2024, 05:15:15 PM

A successful gambler has experienced gambling techniques and figured methods that works gambling not centered in any way on winning money alone. Responsible gamblers doesn't bother about the money, they only realized the effectiveness of self control in gambling. When a gambler is capable of mastering self control he'll be closely in touch with being a successful gambler. On the view of non gambler, a gambler who spends most of his time gambling is addicted. In the gambling industry few amongst gambler would think like the non gambler, he's seen that addiction is not close to how long the gambler bets each day. Not all the gamblers are close to behaving like addicts who can't hold on their decision, and wagers all his money on a single bet. Such people are addicted.
All experience knowledges not come in one day. For that a gambler suffer a lot. After that a gambler learn without learning without getting knowledge a gambler can't do anything specially in gambling sector. For that reason after learning all of things a gambler called addected. Because it takes a lot of time and it being habit for gamblers without doing gambling they feel boring that's the reason thay gambling for spend their time. After all a gambler confused and they don't want to left that's the reason they don't want to left it.

The consumed time before a gambler learns all the experiences he utilizes while gambling plays a vital role. And newbies need to follow same routine before they'll be tagged responsible gamblers like the professionals. However, not all professional gambler is seen as addict in the eyes of many people, due the type of experience they've got in gambling. Staying experience and learning new methods of gambling can keep a gambler above the reasonings of people around him. Such that even if they know of his gambling habit wouldn't call him an addict because of his extensive self-control and social skill which doesn't leave any differentiation between him and non-gamblers. Not all professionals are seen like this, but the queen of comps, Jean Scott, got such skills that made her kids and relations love her for gambling.
1077  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you think gambling every day is better? on: January 13, 2024, 04:51:28 PM
Whoever gambles every day is not addicted. Some people gamble every day just because they want to entertain themself. Some of them know money management and they could refrain from gambling if they want. If someone is wealthy enough and have a lot of spare money to spend, they could gamble every hour if they want. But an average joe who does not make much money should not gamble everyday.

Gamble everyday cannot bring more luck. Slowly but surely it will become as a habit and then addiction. You just agreed with what I said and the other guy said, but you have twisted some of my words and that's it. LOL.

You are good with this response and the way we do things doesn't make us what people think we are. Hence the gambler who gambles everyday can easily be tagged an addicted gambler, but he is actually good with his limitation skills and manages his funds dearly, not to lose out more money chasing losses. However, the mix up of good and bad players in every aspect of life, puts the responsible gamblers at the mercy of people referring them as compulsive gamblers. Because of a few more addicts that plays game each day. Players who trust the process of playing games each day as a better method to earn huge profits, can continue practicing what they feel is true. While gamblers who find it confusing and wants to enjoy a few more days off gambling definitely will get a win some day. It's not written anywhere that a player who doesn't gamble everyday wouldn't win.

If he basically cannot control himself from gambling, whether online or offline gambling is the same, he will overspend his money. Because whether gambling is safe or not has nothing to do with online or offline, but how a gambler can limit themselves so that they don't overspend their money and still gamble according to their bankroll.

Self-control is the main requirement for any gambler notwithstanding the place they spend time gambling. The difference is that one platform could be safe than the other. Depending on the will power of the gamblers. If a player who finds it difficult to get hold of himself is offered an online casino over an offline casino. He'd easily get problem gambling playing online, because nothing helps in delaying gravity at his end. He can gamble whenever the urge erupts, which won't be conducive for the player on the long run. But if he does that offline, he could be experiencing some back logs in regard to distant and expenses required to visit the casino. Though in your context I understand that it's not a good or substantial reason to think offline casinos are safer than the online casino, but it helps.

My question now is are there any moral, ethical or legal obligation to bar a person from gambling after physically observing that he is mentally unstable?

I was surprised when I read the post title. There's nothing wrong if someone who is mentally unstable wants to gamble. Gambling is open to everyone, even those facing mental health challenges. As long as they can place bets and participate in the games, they should be able to enjoy gambling like anyone else. It would be unfair to deny them this right just because of their mental health. I appreciate that the attendant in your post was kind to all customers, regardless of their situation. Sadly, in my local area, I've witnessed people treating mentally unstable individuals poorly, refusing to sell to them even if they have money. They seem repulsed when these individuals come near them. I don't understand why mentally unstable people shouldn't be allowed to gamble.
Mentally unstable people can behave quite normally and place bets in gambling, but maybe this is the whole point - there are many more people who lose than those who win. Maybe the owners don’t want to offend these people in this way, because if they lose, it will be very sad. I’m sure it’s much harder to make money if you’re mentally unstable, and you can lose it very quickly. So the owners can see this as a reason for the risk in which, after another loss, such a person will come to them and declare that he did not control himself and provide some kind of certificate from a medical institution. I just suggested some options, but there may be more.

A valid point you made there, Sompitonov, but it's rare to find such things happening in gambling. However, the possibility is there, and casino need to stay aware about such dispute from happening. I've seen a man sue a casino for offering him more free drinks which made him lose out in the process. That he wasn't in his right self-control, the alcohol caused it. In a similar scenario for a mentally unstable player, the casino may not be held responsible for his mistake because the house is not meant to know whether he's mentally ill or not. As people perform differently, including mentally unstable gamblers. I don't think the casino would be penalized for allowing a mentally unstable person gamble, if he turns around to declare he wasn't in his right senses. The fault is on the player not the casino.

I don't think that there's going to be any kind of long-term profitability when it comes to gambling and to be honest, it's difficult to do that especially if you consider all of the losses that you've got from the start of what you considered as your gambling career. But if there's really a way to do that, I do think that either you involve yourself in skill development on PVP games, that's where almost no money is likely to go to the house as you're up against a player or you can practice doing card counting at the most subtle way so you can cheat the casino in blackjack other games that involves luck though, it's difficult to say that you can get a profit out of the house there so stick to the ones that you've got more favored house edge. Some are saying that you should also consider time management but I do believe that if you want to make money in gambling, you need to dedicate a lot of time so you aren't cut short, treat it like it's your 9 to 5 job.

Treating gambling like a 9-5 job won't be a better option to winning in gambling. The player needs to follow some strategies like time management to be able to manage his funds appropriately such that when he wins, they won't be not much gap from his losses and the money he won. Gambling all the time with no strong skill can only make the person win an amount which when checked with his lost money he'll still be losing to the house. However, this thread won't be helpful to any gambler, because strategies of winning don't exist. The only strategies available revolves around management and maintenance not to get addicted or lose out all we've got. Moreover, if a person shares a winning strategy that works for him, it may not be valuable to another gambler, as it won't work out for the player.
