1061  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 winner - Real Madrid! on: June 04, 2022, 09:33:38 PM
Real Madrid have prepare much money for next window transfer but all target locked have been missing and Real Madrid failed get Haaland and Mbappe sign's for next window transfer. But Real Madrid still have get new defender because this position most problem faced by Real Madrid after leaving by Raphael Varane. I think with getting Rudiger from Chelsea with free transfer give many advantage for Real Madrid don't have to pay much money for transfer. Now Madrid still have money using for getting new central forward after failing with Haaland and actually with Mbappe.
I do agree that they have missed two amazing names that they could have get, but that happens there is nothing wrong with that. I believe that they are already good, and they just need 3 players that is it the rest is okay.

They need one defender which they will probably get with Rudiger, and one midfield which I am sure they will find, and one striker to replace Benzema when the time comes, so just like sub Benzema out time to time to rest him and put that player in, so a young player would do. That three will be enough, maybe like get a second midfield if you can but they do not have to, and all of this combined could cost under 100 million as well.
1062  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: June 04, 2022, 08:39:36 PM
Maybe it will be a little different competition in La Liga this season and the season to come. Because Barcelona has also begun to slowly recover from their slump, it means Real Madrid will again get a serious threat from Barcelona which they did not get this season. Surely this will return an exciting battle between the two teams.
Oh yes, I hope that Sevilla will be able to enliven the top flight even better than this season.
I agree that Barcelona is waking up again, and that is why it looks like the competition could be closer, but I still think that Real Madrid is still the better team and they will win the league.

Not going to really change anything all that much, I am not saying that it will not happen at all, just going to end up with "not enough" level for Barcelona and we are going to end up seeing real being good enough that it will be 10 point difference by the end of the season again if you ask me. Obviously there aren't all that much of a trouble at all times, sometimes Barcelona will look better like how they did during February or march basically.

I think that to call those as ethereum killers didn't even suit with the fact if those were not even killing ethereum. I do know that if you just give awareness if they shall not miss the best opportunity to buy more during the bearish market like this. I know that if people may think to cutloss and stay away from the market but let them try to decide what they have need to decide. Remember that what will be happening when your suggestion was not come true and the price plunged even more?
You know what you have been doing. People have their own opinion regarding the market. Just try to tell you the fact.
It is a marketing tactic; you call a project "eth killer" and you then just sit back and relax and hope for the best. I personally know for a fact that coins like SOL would never kill eth, there is no possible way for such a thing, but calling it an eth killer means that they are after that market and want to replace it and that is what they will be offering.

As we all know, SOL sucks and it was stopped recently all over again, God knows how many times this makes all over a few NFT releases, so it is not going to be like ETH, but at the very least they are doing marketing based on that and this is why we are talking about a project that will end up making sense to people since they understood the path.
1064  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will LUNA 2.0 be a complete failure in the long-term? on: June 04, 2022, 03:35:20 PM
Technically, Luna will survive in the long term since they have many developers working together on this L1 blockchain but the main concern about this project is their fundamental. Many investors loss money already in the first version and most of them are influencers that invest million of dollars in the project. If Luna manages to survive the first crucial month of criticism and doubt from old investors, This project might be back alive and run for long term. Personally, I don't believe on the project anymore especially that we already know how dumb the CEO on decision making.

I will not put a single penny on this project even if they manage to comeback without refunding all the user funds loss in the luna classic.
Technically Luna will not survive in the long term because of anything. What you need to understand is that people with millions of dollars will not invest into Luna, there could be a few maybe, but millions of dollars is nothing in the crypto world, and will be going to zero in a single hour if people start selling. They will "try" but it will not survive. Of course you are free to think however you want and if you think that it will do well then kudos to you and I hope it does.

But, I believe that it will not be doing any good and it will only lose money and people will be very upset about it as well. That is all I believe Luna is capable of from now on.
1065  Economy / Economics / Re: Food crisis coming? What's wrong about it? It could be good on: June 04, 2022, 02:53:44 PM
this is almost the same as the conditions in the country or area that I live in now.
a lot of land that used to be used for agriculture is now being converted into skyscraper buildings and some shops or factories there which make this even more difficult for the farmers.
Previously, in the area where I live, the majority of us were farmers, but now due to a large-scale conversion, some people have swerved to adjust to the current situation and the farmers in my area can now be counted on the fingers.
This is 100% the same thing for my nation as well and it would be fine as well if they knew what they were doing. Imagine a hangar, like one plane levels of big hangar, that hangar could feed an entire town, did you know that? None of the resources we lack are things that we can't have more, it is just that people do not produce more and capitalists do not want us to realize that quickly.

Like Elon talked about we need just a corner of Utah levels of space to provide electricity to ALL of USA, and yet we are not doing it, why? Or we do not need a whole field for farming, we could do hydroponics and use much smaller land and produce much more product and even more times as well since we decide on the weather there so instead of 2 times a year, you get 4. Why not do that? Because people just don't, they don't and that is the only reason ever.
1066  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: June 03, 2022, 08:48:34 PM
Juventus really need a good midfielder to help them to hold the midfied very well so that they can be able to perform well next season. Pogba will really hold the midfied very well for Juventus, if their management can do everything possible to sign Pogba into Juventus because Manchester United don't know what they are about to loose right now. I believe, Juventus manager will be very happy to welcome Pogba into the team because Pogba is among the best midfielder in the whole world.
Pogba is not the player we think he used to be. I mean he was a great midfield player and he would be still good, but he is not going to turn Juventus into a winning team just by himself. Considering that Juventus may lose some players, like Dybala, then they are going to be in net negative as well. This is why they need more players and better players as well.

I am not saying that they won't have any, but it will not be a simple thing neither, it is going to take some time to get there. This is why I believe that we should be getting something better in return, such as a striker for example that can score a lot, and a winger, and hopefully Pogba.
1067  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: June 03, 2022, 06:55:01 PM
I know Erik ten Hag performed quite well with the previous team, ten Hag managed to bring ajax to win the local league 3 seasons in a row. But I think he will find a new problem here, because this is the premier league not the Eredivisie. Changing Manchester United is not as easy as changing ajax, because here the competition is quite tight. I believe Manchester United will have a change in Erik ten Hag's hands but maybe not much, because he needs time and adaptation.
The difference is that Ajax is clearly the best team in Netherlands and they always win, for the past 12 years or so, they won 10 times, just lost to feyenoord and psv once each, and all other years they were champions. This is why he wasn't the only one that managed to do this, Ajax as a team is a great club and unless you are a total failure, you would win something with that club.

I am sure that he would be a good manager, but I doubt that it would be that much clear neither, I feel like it will take a while for him to adjust to EPL and it will be a while before he could start to get some wins as well. This is why I am not really hyped about him right away.
1068  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto is doing well in Thailand...or is it? on: June 03, 2022, 06:03:10 PM
Same here in the Philippines. They have already acknowledged that we can’t be protected from market volatility of crypto trading but rather protect us from getting scammed. Even with those projects that are prone to rug pull, the Securities and Exchange Commission in the Philippines and the Central Bank, they’re just only reminding the public to be careful and wary about the risks about joining these startup campaigns, IDOs, etc., since they can’t do anything about it.
This is something that my nations government is "trying" to do but not too hard, they just had some exchanges scam the customers so they had to put out warnings here and there but that's about it, and they told the exchanges to put a disclaimer saying that crypto is volatile and you could lose all of your money and you should be willing to take that risk when you are investing, that is the only thing and I believe that we shouldn't really think that is good enough, people are already aware of it.

The laws to catch and jail the scammers should be even bigger if we want to stop scammers, internationally come to an agreement over getting those people to nations they scam and jail them.
1069  Economy / Economics / Re: Twitter to pay $150 million for selling users data for Ads on: June 03, 2022, 04:36:06 PM
I would be happy if some of the money can go to us because it was our data's not and not the one's who sues twitter. Why they are doing this all the time? They accuse and want's to sue's every social media sites for the same reasons. They will say something like this xxx company have been selling the data's and personal information of its users while we the real costumers didn't even worry that much.

I don't know if the old founders of twitter can contribute something for the payment because they controlled twitter for a long time or is the new twitter owners are going to pay all of these charges? That's going to be a bad start then for them.
This is what bothers me the most. By this logic the ones who got our data made profit, the ones who sold our data made profit, the ones who punished twitter got profit, and even though it is our data that caused all of us this, none of us got any money at all.

Makes no sense to me to be fair, I would like to see some of that money because all of this money was made based on my data, my information, all the things related to me but I am the only one who didn't make a single dollar out of it. Even if it is just 10 cents, it should be given out to each person that data included, it is not about the money but more about the notion behind it.
1070  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 03, 2022, 10:34:59 AM
De jong wants to stay, but Bacelonal's financial situation is forcing them to release some of their valuable players in order to register Christiansen and other free agent players they have so far; they are also looking to add Lewandoski to the squad.
How long will this go on? Barcelona has a financial strain that is true, but they were the ones that spent 50 million on torres this year as well, I do not know how exactly it works, they could have paid Messi the same amount and kept him if that's the case, it is 50 million and paying messi 50 million + whatever torres gets as salary would be around the same price, would be even more.

So, that is why I never truly understood how the la liga rules applied, if they had to send de jong for example, how come they are capable of getting players? I hope that all these financial troubles ends eventually, they are a club that has good revenue, I hope they can go back to being debt free or at least have less debt to not cripple them.
1071  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: June 02, 2022, 09:33:03 PM
Yes, Real Madrid must immediately look for new ammunition to regenerate the squad in three sectors.  Up front, it looks like Ancelotti will still rely on Benzema, but with his old age, Madrid must find the right replacement striker.  In midfield, El Real is also obliged to add new players to regenerate the current three midfielders, Toni Kroos, Modric and Casemiro are getting old, their performance is starting to decline.  Real Madrid's defense also has to evaluate, the arrival of Rudiger is right to add strength but it's not enough.  In addition, Real Madrid also released quite a number of players, so it is imperative for Madrid to add ammunition to maintain the balance of the squad.
True, they're not young maybe 1 or 2 more years away they're leaving soon like Marcelo. If they are not active in the transfer market, I feel unsure of next season's performance. Raising the players from the Academy is unlikely to be enough to make them strong and able to compete. But so far there has been no news of the allocation of funds for spending, do they have a lot of funds? or Anceloti is restricted to buying new players?  I'm afraid, their regeneration is going like Barcelona, it's sad.
They do not really need to be active in the market with the players we all heard about before like crazy, people didn't know anything about Vini or Rodrygo before they were in real, I mean some people did but they were not world stage levels of players at that level, and then real got them and we saw how wonderful they are.

The youngster Rodrygo wasn't even on the radar of people all season until he scored twice on the last minute against City. This is why I believe that Real could replace these positions from Argentine, Brazil, Portugal type of "football fields" and youngsters from there for cheap, and they could turn them into stars of the future.

We must also realize that as the times progress, more and more companies use technology to reduce their expenses,
this of course creates fewer jobs and will make people lose their jobs,
Creating jobs is not that easy and the state must be present in addressing this issue
Social liberal policies say that any company is free to do as it wishes and there is no intervention and they could do whatever they want to increase their profits, but they would have to pay higher taxes in order to cover the needs of the people who would be affected by this.

So, in a great world, in a dreamy world, I would love it if companies used machines to produce everything, no human in the world would have to work aside from maybe a few who would be getting paid so much that they are willingly working, and everyone else is "unemployed" with a welfare from the government to love amazingly well, all of which were paid by the companies who use those machines to get rich.

You can see the benefits of each rank on this page. As for the free BFG boxes, users from rank 2 and above can get the same number of BFG tokens as it was before the update.
Thanks, but I am familiar with that page. To bad it does not show all benefits will rank 1 user get if he levels up. I mean when I am rank 2, I will get an access to daily tasks. Does rank 2 and rank 3 have different tasks and rewards? I know that in Fury Wheel I will start to receive other than FunFury altcoins, and the amount received differs from rank to rank. I mean like a fully detailed rank review. Not just at rank 2 you will get this, at rank 3 this and that. I suppose users dont fully know the benefits they will get when, that is why they dont bother much leveling.
Do not try to achieve something that your funds may not achieve or do not have enough. Whatever your rank is, just stay in that rank if that is what you can afford, however if you end up with working overtime just to get to another rank and get upset about what you got, that means you shouldn't be there. People who already gamble a lot because they are rich should be there and that is who those people were built for.

I do not know what they get neither, because I am not rich and I try to make sure that I do not jeopardize my funds just to be a bigger gambler, yes the returns will be bigger but at the same time it will not be profitable for me if I can't go on.
1074  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your NBA Champion this season? on: May 31, 2022, 08:38:47 PM
It's going to be a great matchup.  I think Al Horford might end up being the key to the Celtics having a chance to win.  That's really the only position they have a clear advantage over the Warriors, while the Warriors have Steph, which basically gives them a chance to win any night.  Both teams are great defensively, so I think it's going to come down to Steph's shooting or Horford's inside play.  Personally, I'd put my money on Steph.
Yes, expect it because it will. I'm seeing a Game 6 or 7 here, still not clear which one of them will be the champion this season. Both of them is good them is capable of winning and both of them have a chance. They better hope there would be no big mistakes because the other team will literally eat them alive if they give some slack.

Al Horford will be used as the Forward while Robert Williams will also be used as their center, they need to take advantage of their size because that could be their winning moment. They better not follow the Warriors small ball play if they don't want to be defeated.
I am not sure about that at all. I know that there are situations where we could end up with a game 7, but I doubt that because Warriors are much much better team and they have been resting for a lot longer as well. I get that some people think that Celtics could stop them, and I agreed about the defensive part as well, but I still think that Warriors are a much better team all around, they will have a lot of players which could make a difference, not just Curry alone.

It used to be Curry and Klay, while Draymond passed, but now they have Wiggins and Poole as well which makes things a lot more harder for other teams because they can't just lock up Curry and hope for the best.
1075  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reason why I put all my money in Bitcoin as a newbie on: May 31, 2022, 12:48:33 PM
It is nice to see at least a newbie with some common sense, every single day we see newbies taking enormous risks that even some of the most experimented members of the forum will never take and yet they think that somehow they are going to make things work, but as you may guess that is not what happens and the people that invested in altcoins lose a great deal of their money, and while what we saw with Terra Luna is the most extreme example of this, the truth is that we see something like this happening almost every single day.
Newbies come here usually from places that make them do like that, and that is the problem, because if you see what crypto is for the first time from a person who tweeted like "had 20 bucks in my account last year, now I am driving a lambo thanks to X token!!" and come here to buy that x token, you may get fooled.

But, someone who has a grain of brain would know that same could not happen that quickly and would start to instead learn what this is all about. I personally believe that we are going to have a lot more newbies who will be interested in learning a lot more and that will end up with something that will make them a lot more money in the long run, instead of just getting rich quick.
1076  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: May 30, 2022, 08:44:32 PM
The results of the champions league are fair, it's just that Liverpool are not strong enough to make up for Real Madrid's defense so they have to be runners up.
The coming season we will see several clubs sign players so even though Pep Guardiola will lead in the premier league there is tough competition in it, it is not easy but Liverpool and other clubs definitely want to win the EPL title not only Mancity but I admit Mancity still the strongest squad at the moment.
Later there will be more interesting things, I think a club with a downturn could be up for next season.
It wasn't even Reals defense that made them win, it was Courtois that won the game and nothing more. That dude had 9 saves, the highest of any goalkeeper in any UCL finals since it has been recorded. That should be good enough of a reason to say that if it wasn't for him, Liverpool would have won amazingly.

It was Courtois that won the man of the match award, how many UCL finals do you remember that a goalkeeper became the man of the match? I seriously can't name a single one. It's tough luck, and a few shots that goes a few centimeters to the side and LFC would have been the winners. It's fine, they are a good team, they can repeat again later on.
1077  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The World cup 2022 missed a big business opportunity! on: May 30, 2022, 07:11:19 PM
FIFA could sell Tickets as NFT and ticket owners could resell it again , it could be never lasting business! Personally I would like to have one for my collection! What do you think?
The fee part would have been quite profitable as well. They do not need to do it like as a whole thing, they just need to do like maybe 50 seats each game, and if it is not sold then you would move to regular ones during last 24 hours and still get people to buy it.

Qatar is a rich nation, I am pretty sure that people will not go there from all around the world as much as people go other nations, and I believe that Qatar wealthy people will end up buying many seats anyway, or it will not be filled stadiums too for most games. All in all, I believe that NFT would have allowed them to not only sell, but also gain from each resale as well, even after the game is over, and FIFA would have kept making profits.
1078  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 30, 2022, 05:33:52 AM
Liverpool has more years to reign and play good football. Both Mane and Salah cannot leave the same time and I am not even sure they will leave any soon. Liverpool has already build a second layer of attack. Diaz is already making good waves and he is a good footballer who has future with Liverpool. Jota is nother player who is there to continue the fight. If anyone will be in a haste to leave, it should be Firmino because his place is obviously taken by Diaz as he now has limited game time.
I do believe that this whole "switch the team around" thing became a bit of a weird situation. This means that they could switch things around, have like no salah and no mane and still be decent to be fair. I know that those are two great players, but they are not playing that badly without them or their other players are not that bad neither.

Look at Jota and Diaz on the left side, can you tell me that they wouldn't be awesome there? Or look at Firmino in the middle, and don't even get me started on Trent and how he was both on attack and defence at the same time yesterday, he was amazing. So all in all, Liverpool would be good even if Salah and Mane left at the same time.
1079  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What approach do you expect from the Government if your Country adopt bitcoin? on: May 29, 2022, 09:45:24 PM
In general, given the current realities of the world, I doubt that the state should be trusted with its funds at all. You need to understand how it can end up in the end.
But at least we are asked for what we wanted to expect , since we are all far from total adoption so countries after countries will be having their own interpretation and stand about crypto but at least share our prayers and wishes from our government.
The changes, or at least the "little" differences between the nations that accept bitcoin will be the biggest deal. For example, my nation sees it as a currency, so it is kind of like dollar, euro, foreign currency. Some other nation sees it as an asset, like gold or a stock. These changes will definitely be seen as a deal in the long run that can make a big difference and if one of them looks to be great then people will realize how good it is and other governments could replicate that. Legal Tender is another, if that works out amazing for El Salvador in the long run, I can see it becoming a huge deal for all the other smaller nations as well.

For me, it will be calmer to buy and improve my home, and only after I have some kind of financial cushion will I invest. I cannot trust that I cannot guarantee the safety of my family, since we are raising children, and we cannot risk their lives.

But I agree with Lucius that for very young people, it is possible to take risks, live in a rented apartment, and invest in bitcoin. But again, you must be prepared that at some point, it may happen that you will have nothing to pay for housing. Therefore, evaluate all risks.
Likewise I spend so much on my room and house. For me having a comfortable beautiful house is my top priority.
I would also like to invest my money to have a better living.
Don't know there are so many thing which one wishes to have. LOL
This was one of the first things that I have done. I still need a better computer but that is about 1k dollars and I do not have that much, the best I could do right now is 500 bucks and unfortunately due to super high taxes (above 200%) in my nation 500 dollars means you are getting something like a 100-150 dollar pc in other nations.

So, I need to get like 1k in order to get a good laptop. Hopefully after that, I will be done. Honestly, the only thing I ever want is enough money to invest into something that will give me 1k passive income until I die, if I can get that, I will be set for life and it will be forever great and nothing would bother me anymore.
