1061  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Friendly Match is Hard to Predict on: June 17, 2023, 07:30:39 AM
Friendly matches are not always taken so seriously, it's like saying anyone can take the win and it's fine either ways, and also there can be easy manipulation at play because it's just a friendly match, this is the type of matches where a team or club can use bribing to get the cup or prize and you as the gambler won't know that this is ongoing.

Find something better and more serious like La Liga or the Champions League, the excitement and fun is like no other, and if you lose your money, at least you enjoy yourself, this is why I will keep saying that gambling is not something anyone should depend on.
1062  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BlackRock Bitcoin ETF to Partners with Coinbase on: June 17, 2023, 06:48:29 AM
Well, it's a whole new story this morning, Binance Exchange have already strike a deal with SEC and now all US customer's funds are back with Binance, something that I have been thinking as the only solution to the problem, they want the piece of the pie, that's all.

I knew that's why Black Rock had the confidence all along, they knew that this time around will be different and they must have known that SEC will settle with Binance, the confidence is now back to the crypto community either you like it or not.

The Hong Kong regulators have have also revealed that the country wants to be the international crypto hub very fast, that's why they have forced their banks to offer services to Bitcoin and crypto.

Things are going well in disguise of looking bad.
1063  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble Responsibly on: June 15, 2023, 06:11:05 AM
The age limit placed on people below 18 year to keep them away frim gambling have not been most effective as we have hard records of under age gambling in many place and this is a pointer that casino has indeed misolaced their primary responsibility which is to prevent that from happening and that is why there is need for KYC.
The underage of 18 years old is a part of the reasons why KYC is compulsory on most online casinos but not all online casinos requires KYC verification, there is freebitco and others like this platform that underage kids can gamble on. They can also passed the KYC if they can get a hold of their elder brothers ID or even their parents, unless the online casino has the latest KYC style that ask for your selfie live.
1064  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would Bitcoin Be Badly Hurt if Binance Goes Down? on: June 14, 2023, 10:11:31 AM
It won't hurt me that much and it won't make me want to sell my holdings but people will panic, and the whole crypto market will move down badly because that's just the sentimental of the crypto market, the same thing happened because of FTX, and I was able to secure some good position because of FTX demise, I remember that was when the real bear market started and Bitcoin went down to 17,000$.

Binance is a good centralized exchange and I believe it should be treated in such manner, a centralized exchange cares for their business only, I won't entrust my Bitcoin and Fiat to any centralized company, the risk is very high still, even if the CEO is a big figure in this crypto space, I bet Sam was once a big figure too.
1065  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: How do I secure my wallet on: June 14, 2023, 09:07:41 AM
Among the soft wallets, MetaMask wallet and Trust wallet are considered very good which you can download for free.
Trust wallet is closed source and i will not recommend it or MetaMask for someone who is looking for a wallet to store only their BTC. I don't recommend people to use multi-coin wallets to store their BTC and other shitcoins, it is better to use Electrum to store your BTC's safely and then choose another multi-coin wallet for all your other cryptocurrencies.
We are aware that hacking bitcoin is not so easy.
BTC in itself cannot be hacked, it is not centralized, but people who have BTC in their wallets can be hacked and their funds would be stolen, but that is if they have bad operational security or are just unlucky.
Trust wallet is a closed source and it's from the binance team too, something bad happened to the Trust wallet add-on wallet some time ago where some people lost their assets but Binance refunded all of them because the incident have something to do with the new addon from the team, the only exchange that's capable of refunding users for any losses that happens from their side is Binance.

I am not encouraging anyone to start storing their assets on Trust wallet because of possible refund if any bad thing happens, I still believe that open source wallets are better and if multi-coin wallet is your thing, Blue wallet and Unstoppable wallet are the best open source wallet I can find. 1066  Economy / Gambling / Re: No bet is a waste on: June 14, 2023, 08:03:03 AM
~snip~
There's nothing wrong with that, but in other conditions it seems to indicate that it doesn't learn from past experiences.
The reason is that personal money is always a strong scourge, but that doesn't mean we have to be indifferent to every defeat, indeed in gambling this is very difficult to stop, but on the other hand, we can make this even more minimized, especially against defeat, because indeed we have made mistakes and will it's stupid to make the same mistake over and over again.
Gambling even with our own money, of course, we have to be aware that we also have to be more responsible because even though this is indeed the place to have fun and the conditions for losing are huge, that doesn't mean that in every gamble we have to lose with emotions that make us regret it in the end.
There's nothing wrong with that, but it's still not worth it. We tend to forget the experiences we have gained to continue what we have been doing. And that's what happens to us so that the same experiences or mistakes are repeated.

We must minimize more losses by limiting the money we gamble. Even though we have experienced defeat, we should stop immediately and calm down before we lose more money. And if we have experienced or made mistakes, we should learn by contemplating for a moment what we have done. In this way, we can know how to fix the mistake so that we don't repeat it in the future.
The only experience anyone can gain from gambling is to gamble responsibly. They should find a way to limit their losses, there is never going to be an experience that will make you a better gambler than getting disciplined.

Losses are permanent with online and offline gambling, that's why we need to gamble with what we can afford to lose, gambling is a game of luck and there is no amount of experience you gain over time that will start making you a winner, is a pure game of luck.

It's a shame that the only thing addicted gamblers are very good at is believing that their surprises are right there at the corner, that they are very close to getting a big bang prize, if you think this way you are already a gambling addict.
1067  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will Sam Bankman-Fried go to jail? on: June 13, 2023, 09:22:51 AM
Correct, Sam is not going to jail it seems, and the stupid Gensler is not even digging more into the FTX case, instead they target Coinbase and mainly Binance exchange, this is the part where I believe that Gensler and Sam with Kevin can be an accomplice in this crime, CZ also revealed that in 2019, Gensler offered to be appointed as Binance advisor and he was turned down.

The case of Sam and FTX might not come to light if Sam was not a spoilt brat, and if he keeps doing this for long it will have a very bad effect in the future, I also feel like politicians are behind Sam and the FTX money manipulations.
1068  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you stop gambling (sports betting, casino e.t.c)? on: June 13, 2023, 08:07:02 AM
The fastest way to get addicted to gambling is believing that you can make monthly income with gambling or that gambling can make all their dreams come true. Once you start believing that these are possible through gambling it will be very hard to stop gambling, and that includes after losing everything to gambling, have you ever seen people that lost everything and everyone that loved them because of their gambling habit and they still won't stop gambling? They believe that once their dreams come true, those who hated them will love them back, I have meant such people.
1069  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Kids and Bitcoin on: June 13, 2023, 07:17:05 AM
My next Bitcoin awareness approach now are the children, there are many kids in my family and very soon our get-together tradition is approaching, I need your help in this forum if this is possible.

I remember when I was little, I love reading books that have good pictures on them, like comics and novels painted with amazing pictures, from Peter Pan to DareDevil and Supergirl, while growing up as an adult I ended giving out these comics to my cousins.

My question is where can I buy Bitcoin comic books that can catch the attention of children between the age of 7 to 11? I want something in comic or story book style and with full story about Bitcoin or related... I want to buy and wrap them up for the surprises.
1070  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why People Still Gamble? on: June 13, 2023, 06:43:26 AM
Gambling continuously depends on hope, people believes that if they continue to gamble they might get lucky one day, only very few gamblers do this because of fun and pleasure from the games they play on the casino.

I don't like gambling every time because it's somehow trying to take over my mind, I want to start missing gambling from time to time and if I give in I won't be able to keep my gambling rules.

To follow my gambling rules I make sure I stay away from gambling news about how people are getting lucky with gambling, it will only fuel my desire for gambling, I don't like reading good news about gambling, I gamble only when I feel like and when I can afford it.
1071  Economy / Gambling discussion / Easy or hard to quit? on: June 12, 2023, 11:28:45 AM
Can you quit gambling if you make a life changing money and never go back to gambling?

I asked this because those who made some money through gambling near me always go back to gamble and they end up losing everything they once made through gambling.

Is it fine to say that people should not go back into gambling once they made high amount of money? Because the chance of losing that money again is very high, even if they don't use all the money to gamble at once, gambling can take it all back in time.

Have you ever won a high amount of money from gambling and managed to not lose them all back to gambling? And to date, you are still gambling?
1072  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin must surpass gold on: June 12, 2023, 09:03:14 AM
The only side where Bitcoin can lead Gold is value, other sides Gold is the winner because Gold needs no regulation, no one is using power on Gold, no government want to take over Gold, it's something you can have with no one knowing you have some Gold.

Bitcoin works with the Internet and it is traceable through the Blockchain scan, brother, Bitcoin has more problem than Gold, volatility is huge problem and Gold is more stable than Bitcoin.

Still, I believe Bitcoin is perfect the way it is, because this is how it was built, let's not forget that the volatility performance of Bitcoin is also a big opportunity too.
1073  Economy / Speculation / Re: Take advantage of the price fall. on: June 12, 2023, 07:13:39 AM
Is been a hard knocked to everyone trading bitcoin this seasons especially investment, my friend was sore disappointed for the recent falling of price because he bought $1000 bitcoin but the truth is that we cannot foresees the future in today, this is not the first time the price is Reding down, we should take advantage of this time at least you can use a small to purchase high value bitcoin. I wish we've profound bitcoin price analyst here, many people really wants to know the cause of continues price deflected, if you've ideas please your comments will be very important here. We newbies this days fall victims a lot because of ignorance of cryptosystem. Let's talk as a family.
He only bought 1000$ worth of Bitcoin, what about those that bought 10,000$ worth of Bitcoin? The mistake he did was investing at all, he shouldn't have, because he is not ready to lose that money, and he doesn't understand that Bitcoin goes up and down any time, the only way to win this race is thinking long term and I don't see such sign in your friend.

If you are the one that introduced your friend to Bitcoin, I am sorry to say but you have failed him, because you don't teach him the bad side of Bitcoin investment and how to become a successful Bitcoin investor, if your plan is not on the long term, you will get frustrated in the short term.
1074  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can They Find A Way to Do It To Bitcoin? on: June 11, 2023, 10:32:10 AM
Bitcoin would have been under the control of the government if...

1. Satoshi Nakamoto's real identity is known.

2. If all the exchanges in crypto space are all centralized exchanges.

3. If all available crypto wallets are closed-source and centralized.

The most beautiful thing about Satoshi Nakamoto is he used a time machine and travel into the future, kidding, he knew what he created the best.

He knew that the government won't like Bitcoin and they will like to control it.
1075  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble Responsibly on: June 11, 2023, 09:47:53 AM
Indeed, the person you've been conversing with has presented an astute observation of human behavior in relation to gambling. Betting is analogous to a moth being drawn to a flame. Despite the inevitable harm, it is irresistibly lured by the prospect of light.

The psychological trap of "just one more bet" is a potent one. It's akin to the infamous paradox of Achilles and the tortoise. Despite all logical indicators suggesting otherwise, gamblers believe they can catch up with their losses.

The subsequent regret is a fundamental aspect of the human condition. We often fail to act in our best interests, leading to remorse, which unfortunately is short-lived. It's somewhat similar to the phenomenon of cognitive dissonance.
"Just one more bet" really works for many gamblers so they are willing to use their money more than before. They think that by raising the stake one last time, they are betting it all but the result is not going their way. And in the end, it is the casino that takes all the winnings.

That is a condition where the gambler has a choice: to stop or continue. But most gamblers will choose to continue playing. After all, they said this was one last bet and no regrets whatsoever. But it turned out that in one last bet, the reality spoke differently because they all lost. It makes many people regret why they didn't stop immediately but instead decided to make one last bet before going home.

This is something that not only happens with gambling but it is very common at other activities, an example of this are video games, in which a person may want to play for some more minutes, minutes which then morph into hours.

Then it is important that people set themselves a time limit when they gamble, something which is trivial these days as even the most outdated smartphone out there should have an alarm and allow us to not gamble for a longer time period than what we intended.
Minutes morphed into hours because video games are captivating, but still it's addiction, if you like foods that contains sugar you will end up with diabetes, mixture of bitter foods and sweat foods are more healthy, to be in good shape this is the way.

Addiction doesn't ends with gambling only, it's everywhere, pressing my smartphone every minutes is addiction, dropping your phone and taking some hours off brings a new refreshment for your health and even the eye.
1076  Other / Beginners & Help / What is ahead is very dangerous on: June 11, 2023, 08:22:21 AM
There is a new scamming strategy on the horizon, newbies be on the watch out

Optimism airdrop is still active and that's why some scammers have come up with a NFT/Coupon Ticket style way to trap unknown victims, especially their ones that have interacted with the optimism chain before.

The image of the NFT has all the information available, I can swap this NFT for 1000 OP token, I believe this will be confusing for newbies who aren't familiar with scammers way of doing things.

Optimism.market is the place or the right place to sell this NFT for 1000 OP tokens and I do visited the market place and I got a very bad warming from my browser to stay away, here is what the warning looks like.

I bet what's ahead is very dangerous, you will have to connect your wallet and that is where all your assets will be moved out automatically, Be cautious out here.
1077  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling is a choice. on: June 11, 2023, 07:20:16 AM
Yes you can decide to gambke or walk away, just like today i hard the urge to olace a bet in favor of Manchester City winning the inter milan today in the champions league finals and but I have resistant not to bet but then the end of the day my prediction game out accurately well but I did not bet and that make my choice to limit me.
at the end people stop gambling no matter what! because it ruins the financial health of a person
but if you have a faith in God and that faith increases gizallinan times that he listens to you then life is. not a bitter as it could be
What are you trying to say? God and gambling? It doesn't go with each other because God doesn't like gambling, if you are a true Christian you should have read in the Bible about how God doesn't like gambling, it's very detrimental for human, you talking about faith? A gambler can never develop any faith and stand on it when he gambles, if we have to look at this at a different side, gambling suits the devil, because you lost your ways easily and make reckless decisions.

Religion and gambling can't be mixed together in one single body, it means the person is a lost soul already, it's either you believe in your Bible and stay away from gambling, or go for gambling and be less of a religious person, if you believe this is a sin then you are committing more sins because you know it's a sin.
1078  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gensler can destroy the U.S. crypto industry but he can’t kill crypto on: June 10, 2023, 10:03:08 AM
So far, it seems that other coins are going to get affected for the people living in the US, except Bitcoin that nobody is ready to call a security, to me it's still looking good for crypto because if Bitcoin is still standing strong then crypto is still very much alive.

Altcoins are surely going to suffer the most and majority of them are going to die slowly, starting from between now and March of 2024, right now almost all altcoins in my wallet have bleed out dried.

Maybe we will see 600$ per Ethereum, who knows? But 21,000$ Bitcoin is now in place because of the strong support we lost at 26k and 27k, this is probably where many people will start leaving crypto.
1079  Economy / Gambling / Re: Using ToS against users normal? on: June 10, 2023, 08:33:18 AM
ToS are not meant to work or be used against a gambler except the gambler was the one found violating the rules stated from it, but if not in this case, any gambling platform found with the violation of these as used against it users should be reported and avoided completely, there are many gambling platforms one can always try out if the one you're using is not trusted anymore and challenges like this make us always advise gamblers not to have the money they cannot afford loosing on their casino wallet.
Some conniving online casinos have used Terms of Service to steal from their customers. They put the entire blame on ToS and they are the ones who benefit from it. If the Terms of Service are changed, they should make sure everyone is notified first.

There are as many scam casinos as there are new crypto projects in the crypto space today. In fact, some online casinos don't intend to stay around for the long run. They want to steal and escape with large sums of money.

It's left for gamblers to choose between the casinos that almost everyone on the forum age using or those that no one is talking about, or those online casinos that has no ANN on Bitcointalk from.
1080  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can bitcoin die? on: June 10, 2023, 07:46:57 AM
Congratulations, Bitcoin is not a security, that makes it way better than anything ever built on this earth since the past years, this will make Bitcoin a bigger target for huge institutions,  since SEC can't even target Bitcoin, it should clear the fact that Bitcoin will have a longer life span, so cool down and think positively.

The only way that Bitcoin can become a thing of the past is if everyone stop using it and adopting it, I am happy that this call is not in the hands of the government to make, it's very obvious to see reasons why Bitcoin will live longer.
