Apparently BitconnectX is selling out every day again (I haven't checked but heard) so BCC is recovering (I bought at $7 last time):
Yes, just logged in and all sold out again (there's another $13million 260k*$50). Who are all these people seemingly sending half a billion dollars to this 'scam'?
There's zero proof of them "selling out". There isn't even blockchain available yet. BCCX = BlockChain Cloaked & Xenogenic

One question please.... Do you need ten sMerit to rank up from Jr. Member to Member or you need that ten sMerit from Member to next rank?
Thank you.... Just gat confused...
It's Merit not sMerit (sM). If you like this reply, please send me ... Oops! sorry, bud. You don't have any. Here's +1 sM for your thought-provocative post. Now, I'm confused as to how your username - Jr. - was still available. Speakin' of confusion ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cGXp34c_o48and this ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-J1NHzQ1sgc

A good time to buy some BCH or maybe it will dip further? What say you Vlad?
This thread is experiencing a slow death like BitConnect ever since I quit the "Good morning, Vlad" practice.

Do not beg for merit excessively. s/excessively/at all—ever/ The merit system is a promising idea. But it will only work if we develop a strong cultural expectation that merit will only be awarded for meritorious posts. Requests for merit must be declared extreme rudeness, a forum faux pas. Such a thing is fit only for social opprobrium, derision, sneers, and shunning. In most cultures, fishing for compliments is viewed as something between boorish and unthinkable. Asking for merit is worse, because it may accrue monetary value due to signature campaigns. It is like begging a professor for a top grade, instead of doing work worthy of earning a top grade. By contrast, those who have something worthwhile to say will take pride in earning merit the normal way: By making posts which others find valuable. Whereas those who have nothing worthwhile to say, as such have nothing to add to the forum. For my part: Nobody who ever asks me for merit will ever get any from me—period.
P.S., all the whiners complaining about the merit system ipso facto thus demonstrate that they are incapable of writing meritorious posts, and therefore worthless to the forum. Make good posts, and people will notice. Or shut up. Edit: Added the paragraph about people taking pride in earning merit the normal way. +1 sM because I love your command of the English language. I even learnt something. PS: Due to all the excitement, I'm not sure if that's the first time I doled sM due to actually liking the post's content where most, if not all, of previous sM allocations were gifted for humor et al. purposes. Aside: There are no asides. Edit: Reserved for edits. Calvo turpuis est nihil comato: Practicing my Latin while eating my Reuben in case I ever meetup with CBH again. Testing my Latin: Cogito, ergo sum dignum merito. Well that worked out swell. I receive +1 sM from a user on record in stating that none would be doled out to beggars which is exactly what I did, albeit in Latin [and tongue in cheek] with " Cogito, ergo sum dignum merito." Next stop: Klingon. Thanks kindly, nullius. CBH just gave you merit. Unfortunately, his merit is invisible so it won’t do a damn thing for you. Leave it to CBH to introduce the cloaked sM, cleverly dubbed csM (unless you prefer isM; i = invisible ... wait, ISM isn't that bad). Now that we all of 21M csM-cum-isM-cum-ISM, please use them wisely including when gifting them to your other accounts which is allowed.

Im curious is the 36% increase in BCC price today part of the ponzi scheme? Please advise. Thanks in advance...
or maybe someone is just buying their own coins and pumping the price a bit so they can dump in your fucking faggot and gullible face. fucking hell. people like you should get removed from the gene pool. you along with all the fucking stupid bitconnect shills. go deepthroat a fucking shotgun asap. this might just be it. or big investor probably is trying to save his ass by pumping it up so he could at least dump his stash, he is definitely just sinking himself again. i was one of the first person who warned about this project, this was headed by a user nemgun as far as i can remember but now the OP was changed. I can't find that thread anymore. i knew that guy was up to something from the start. Re nemgun: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1681719.msg17046906#msg17046906

They flat out lied to people. https://www.americanbanker.com/news/arisebank-raises-questions-about-ico-fraud-decentralized-bankingPretty messed up: The agency said AriseBank’s initial offering of AriseCoin is illegal because there’s no registration filed with the SEC. It also said the offering materials “use many materially false statements and omissions to induce investment in the ICO,” such as AriseBank’s earlier claim that it had bought a commercial bank and could offer FDIC-insured accounts. The SEC further said in its complaint that AriseBank “omitted to disclose the criminal background of key executives — most notably, Rice, who is currently on probation for felony theft and tampering with government records." Like Sonny Vleisides of BFL, maybe Rice is on a good track now, the past behind him.

If you're referring to the exchange not listed on CMC's list of exchanges, then perhaps true, but if not linking to BitConnect's exchange, then yes they did from its dedicated BCC page.
That's what I meant... BitConnect exchange volume and pricing was not reflected in Coinmarketcap charts, right? I think we're on the same page now. CMC no longer reflects BCC's exchange rate as they once did.

$5 LOL
But still up 3000% from ICO price of .17
So, all a BCC Investard has to do to lock in such a wonderful ROI is to sell off their BCC ASAP after merely requesting BitConnect to return their BCC to a wallet address in the Investard's control and they'll be golden. Please point out any errors in my logic.

Haven't people explained to you that all cryptos are the same. Do you think everyone with bitcoin could sell it in one day for anywhere near the price now? Only takes a few percent to sell to massacre the price.
Why do people buy bitcoin if it's not to profit at the expense of others? There is no money that is created so is a Ponzi from what you are saying. At least the lending platforms prevent dumping (the company owns most of the coins and needs the price to stay high) and also generate profits so the crypto can be marketed.
No, not all cryptos are the same. There are plenty of scams for sure but there are also coins, such as Bitcoin, which are not dependent on a ponzi lending scheme. People buy BTC for reasons that far outnumber the only one reason why people bought BCC. And again, that has no relevance whatsoever to Bitconnect scam. Even if every single cryptocurrency was a horrible scam, that still wouldn't make Bitconnect any less fraudulent. You should really give up on this fallacy, you're not very good at it. They don't take BTC, lenders sell their daily BCC interest on the exchanges to other lenders on the platform (some people are coming in and some people are going out). After the ICO, the platforms don't even need BTC wallets if there are external exchanges (that can sometimes use ETH not even BTC to buy the coins).
Bitconnect ran their own exchange that was not listed on Coinmarketcap. They also had a massive premine. They could dump any number of coins they wanted. Sure, they maintained the price for a while. Until the ponzi ran its course. If you're referring to the exchange not listed on CMC's list of exchanges, then perhaps true, but if not linking to BitConnect's exchange, then yes they did from its dedicated BCC page.

I've given my opinion on this in 2 or 3 posts on this thread already.
But I'll also add that when an admin is coming up with rules that can cause such a paradigm shift they need to strike a balance so as not to negatively affect the genuine users of the forum. This new system actually shows the dictator styled leadership of the forum.
Anyone who respects a forum should have common sense enough to post standard quality posts without being told, even if there's no reward system in place. In this case the post counts and activities just serve as incentives to participate and contribute meaningfully to this forum.
Many users here are too damn lazy to do research, go through websites, read whitepapers, check out roadmaps and learn about whatever they are commenting about before hitting their keyboards.
Instead of opening room for more moderators and finding a way to reward them to encourage them to keep this forum clean, instead we have his new shit system stuffed down our throats.
Well...I refuse to chew or swallow it.
I'd rather stay stuck on Member for life if the forum refuses to reverse the system, than go out of my way hunting for threads I think I can benefit smerits from by so called 'quality posts'.
Long live BitCoinTalk!!!
Why do you think it would be necessary to go "hunting for threads" to get merit? Looks like even most vocal complainers are receiving merit points so you would probably have to hunt for particularly shitty threads if you wanted to NOT get merit. Here's a thought. Wouldn't a quality post stick out in a shit thread more so than in a quality thread, thus upping the odds for a less-than-quality poster on up to earn coveted +1 sM, in those cases garnering sM from shitty posters not operating on full thrusters or worst --> their [cranial] core breach is imminent. I see theymoss didn't even give any chance for members who was waiting rank change today)) I think it's strange, all member are good for forum, not only hero. And if you implemented your new system so suddenly you should give at least another one rank change by old rules, I think would be fair. And It's not a secret that no-one likes this new system except members with highest rank, who don't care about it) And I don't care too. But it may be that very soon we will have "fork" of this forum with more fair rules and all people and startups will move there. Really don't understand you theymoss.
Excellent suggestion, bud!!! Hey, maybe Roger Ver could start a new forum where all the quality posters on this forum could flock to. Hell, Roger already owns bitcoin.com so I would suggest that the URL of the proposed forum could be https://forum.bitcoin.com/. What's your thoughts on that, coinsniperX? Meanwhile, I'm just gonna leave this here: It seems like I will ATN (All Time Newbie) And It doesn't matter, except the time between posts, that 360 seconds makes me angry) I gave you one merit to contribute to your rank up and put you at peace. I can't imagine what 360 between posts must feel like! He-hey! Thank you good man! But I'm angry again, coz I need to wait 360 sec to reply you

I think this merit system given by our dear thymos is a kind word of change to make difference in making comments. More important to newbie and junior in this place of doing interaction to other members. I hope even thymos will be kind to us and be honest too in giving merit. Not just dear thymos but also those people around here that can able to give merit.
In my eyes , unless I've been drinking , that's an excellent post , hence rewarding +1 sM. On a side note, albeit related to this thread, who was the wiseguy mod who deleted my post here depicting some random S&M dude? Obviously, whoever it was has no idea as to how much effort went into that though-provocative post. PS: This post doesn't deserve any sM so don't even think about reward me one or several or any amount in between, but if you do outta spite, this --> "Seriously, there's more than one way to accomplish this feat?"
