1061  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I Am So Done With Betting Until.... on: November 24, 2022, 09:38:24 PM
I think I am one of the unluckiest gambler/bettor out here, today is one of my worst days again and I think I should quit betting.

I went all in on Argentina thinking their match against Saudi Arabia would be an easy win for them, and the fact that the odds were so far away against Saudi Arabia winning while it was in huge favor of Argentina caused me to be so sure that Argentina was going to win the match, and then, I went all in, hoping to make some big wins just like yesterday, but now, everything is gone, in just a twinkle of an eye...
Argentina is a big disappointment, It's still hard to believe, I quit betting until I am able to forget this experience entirely.

Heads up, bro. I understand your feeling since even upset is usual to happen, the match between Argentina and Saudi Arabia is something really unexpected as even looking at all sides, Argentina has everything to win that match. Saudi Arabia, despite football/soccer being the most popular sport in their country, doesn't even have a good history playing at the FIFA World Cup that's why they are always the heavy underdog in the majority of their match here.

If you want to chase your losses on that match, it's your decision.

It's not totally wrong to chase losses as long as you clearly understand what you are doing. Maybe you just decided to quit betting because of the frustration but if you really want to push on that and the same feeling still emerges after you moved on to that loss, then good for you.
1062  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many of you believe in Litecoin? on: November 24, 2022, 09:29:36 PM
It's not that I believed in Litecoin but there is no doubt that this coin is one of the worthy coins that everyone must consider adding to their portfolio. Ups and downs, good days or not, bull or bear, etc. LTC is proven to be one of the top coins that have a strong foundation.

Since most coins are having a bad day because of the current market situation, expect that even the top coins will not be excused by that.

LTC seems currently on its considered good entry price. It's your call to decide what will you do.
1063  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: November 24, 2022, 09:25:01 PM
Naoya is going to fight Butler as 118 lbs to unify the belt, yes that is good for us boxing fans. But what we really wanted to see is Naoya jumping to 122 lbs, a new division for him and together with Casimero shake it up a bit and make the division very competitive with those two going up. So it's a win-win for us boxing fans for next year and this division will be watch by experts and casual fans.

No offense to John Riel Casimero but it's too early to include his name on tough fighters in the Super Bantamweight. Naoya Inoue is ranked no. 5 by the WBO right now in the Super Bantamweight. Akaho is ranked no. 8. That's already a big reason not to mention Casimero for now in the discussion. And likely, if Inoue will move up in that division, he probably ends up being in the top 5 without a sweat with only a few fights before being considered for a title match.

Anyways, super bantamweight rankings are varied for each boxing organization and I'm just giving an example that even though Naoya Inoue is still not moving up, he was already given a ranked no. 5 by the WBO in the super bantamweight. The distance is too far between him and Casimero.

But I hoped Casimero will soon catch up so that their supposed fight against Inoue will be possibly materialized.
1064  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do online casinos disadvantage some locations from winning big on: November 24, 2022, 09:11:50 PM
You know how casinos have set certain slots to only pay a certain amount to a winner, it it also possible that casinos are using an algorithm to limit how much it can payout for players coming from certain locations to avoid being dragged into legal disputes if a player is paid big money and the local authorities want to know the source and the alike?

If the main issue is about location then in the first place, why they will allow users to the said locations you are referring to if, in the end, they might face a problem or issues? I don't think that there's an algorithm where the sequence would be limiting the possible max payouts of users depending on a certain location.

Reputable game providers won't surely create an algorithm like that.

May we know what leads you to think that something like that happened?

Maybe we can give more accurate responses rather than basic responses.
1065  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A lottery's defense to not paying a huge winning. on: November 24, 2022, 09:07:34 PM
True besides it is impossible for the information about the winning draw event has been deleted in normal circumstances.  Besides, I believe there is a central server where outlets put their information and backups so it is impossible for the records to get wiped out totally.  It is money and it is essential that all documents will have a backup in case a server becomes faulty.

If there's a problem with the system especially related to databases or records which are considered very important stuff in a lottery, that would lead to a serious investigation because people's money is at risk. Since there's a bribed attempt, that means the system is running fine and smooth but it turned out that the lottery tried to at least turn the table upside down in their favor.

Since there's no shared progress or any update about the case, I just hoped that the case will be judged fairly as I'm sure an attempt to also bribed the authorities that handle the case do have a big possibility.

1067  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you still win with free spins? on: November 21, 2022, 11:59:28 PM
I don't think working alone with free spins is going to make a decent profit for you. It's always nice to get a free spins, especially now with the Christmas time approaching there will be more promotions. But these free spins are usually a bonus we can add to our regular gambling. In the past I never won anything big with free spins, there were some minor profits but nothing substantial. You could always be lucky and hit a jackpot with your free spin, that seems not so realistic though. Another thing is that there are usually conditions on withdrawing money from free spins. You might need to bet a couple of times before you are eligible to withdraw. My recommendation would be to take as many free spins as you can get, just don't rely on them to make profit. Rather look at them as bonus you can get for your usually games. I am wondering now if anybody has won big with the a free spin.

Free spins or any form of free features that a casino provides as free, people should not really expect something decent profits, or rewards on it.

Gambling sites are not that generous to just give free features without having an advantage over them.

In gambling, there will be really a time that we should end up spending big in order to achieve those big winnings.
1068  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: November 21, 2022, 11:59:21 PM
There's no betting odds now but you are right, Spence might be a slight favorite only because Thurman is a good boxer too, even better than Ugas I believe. However, if Bookies will make Thurman and heavy underdog, for sure no one would complain as many will take advantage of the opportunity to bet on Thurman. I guess 3/1 odds for Thurman would make the bettors get tempted to bet on him.

There are no betting odds yet because that wasn't official. But I think as I'm posting this, it's now official and there's a release date now. Or anyone can share the official announcement of this fight?

As far as my speculation is concerned, this will be my forecast on their odds once bookies now finally released it:

Errol Spence Jr @ 1.5
Keith Thurman @ 3
1069  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a gambling addict? on: November 21, 2022, 11:59:10 PM
I haven't gambled in a long time, but the FTX bankruptcy brought me more losses than gambling.
So, that's fine, you only live once. Do sth make you happy.

The case in FTX shouldn't be linked with our activity on gambling sites.

Just make sure to play only on legit and reputable gambling sites to minimize being scammed by some illegal gambling sites.

And yes, just enjoy gambling as long as we stay disciplined and responsible.
1070  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: We Feel All The Emotions When We Gamble on: November 20, 2022, 11:59:56 PM
When you cannot stop gambling based on your emotions, it means that you are gradually becoming addicted to gambling which might be counter productive or a harmful. I think one should start seeking for help when his emotion becomes a motivator in gambling.

I think becoming a gambling addict is not the point but the ability of the person to still become responsible despite being a gambling addict.

There are lots of professional gambling players that are obviously, so much addicted to gambling but look at them, still doing better outside their gambling life.

It's hard for others to still keep being disciplined and responsible gamblers but with the right approach, everything should be good.
1071  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you still win with free spins? on: November 20, 2022, 11:59:32 PM
Is it possible to stick with free spins on online casinos and still be able to make some good reward?

Free spins are triggered randomly while playing on slots right? Therefore, we will just see if the reward is good once we played on it. If you are talking about we will have some free spins credit, the same goes applies.

Besides, I don't think there's a free spin that will be credited to our account. Even it's free, a wager requirement is a must.
1072  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Akaho - December 3 on: November 20, 2022, 11:57:18 PM
This fight is now approaching closely and time really flies fast.

We will now be able to witness Casimero again fighting although this fight is considered as his testing phase if he still has that "skills".

There is no way Casimero should lose here and he should win no matter what to regain his confidence to fight again at the top.
1073  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a gambling addict? on: November 20, 2022, 11:55:31 PM
People will deny that they are addicted to gambling until they are cured, they are aware of their addiction, and yet they cannot take the right action to cure themselves because they have an urge that they cannot stop, I will deny I'm addicted to gambling because people will see that I'm sick and need help from professional something that my ego cannot accept.

Why they will cure themselves if they understand the risk? What if they are still responsible despite being addicted?

It's fine to be a gambling addict as long as we are still on our usual behavior.

If serious problems now occur, that's the time to do some action.
1074  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What happened with crypto? on: November 19, 2022, 11:50:53 PM
Hi all,my friends
I've been away from cryptoworld for 2 years and i want to ask something to the esteemed audience
What the fuck is going on here?
I'm sorry,i don't have any other words
Why is bitcoin trading at 2020 prices?
This is unbelievable!!!
I sold all my bitcoins in 2021 and went to live in another country and left the cryptoworld, but i'm shocked
Is this all because of the war?
Or because of the government sticking its nose into this market?
What happened?Huh

You don't need an exact answer for that. From now on, expect this kind of trend in the crypto market.

That's the reason why you are surprised because you are outdated. Will you continue your journey here?

If you want now to keep always updated with crypto, start to involved now.
1075  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: November 19, 2022, 11:49:01 PM
There are still a few minutes left and the lead is very much manageable by Magnolia. If they lose this game, they still should be proud of themselves as Dragons are used to dominating their opponent but what we are witnessing now is a close game where Magnolia is not giving up this game.

Still proud even on losing? What a crap. Don't take Bay Area Dragon as a super tough team to beat.

Bay Area Dragon is not a team that are out of the reach of the locals. They are just doing their best to win.

In the event that a team loses against the Dragons and the final score is really close, don't feel proud because it went that way.
1076  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Running a casino during crypto crash on: November 19, 2022, 11:44:46 PM
Hello guys, as an attempt to protect new or old users on this forum , I think its mandatory for gambling sites to show proof of money they are holding in reserves  . Unless casinos converts all deposits to a stablecoin , excluding UST hahahah , from year to date most of them should be running on a loss as most utilized crypto coins are down by atleast 65% and that includes Bitcoin .

I really don't care if casinos won't show the proofs of their bankroll. After all, as long as they already established a good name, that's worth trying.

Reputation does matters to me and there are ways to prove that even not showing their bankroll.

After all, these sites won't run for long if they are not financially capable.
1077  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a gambling addict? on: November 19, 2022, 11:42:58 PM
Everyone likes to go to a casino here and then. But unfortunately, there are those who cannot visit a casino simply for pure leisure. Gambling can turn from a hobby or a leisure activity into a serious addiction problem. Many compare the rush of gambling to the euphory of cocaine, as it can also become an addition.

Online gambling brought casinos closer than ever before, and the problem of addiction in the world of gambling is a serious social illness. There are a few signs to look for when starting to gamble online to avoid problems of addiction. So, do you know if you have a problem with gambling? Here's an interesting article about this subject.

Why you guys are taking addiction as purely a negative traits of a gambler?

I've know some gamblers that really loses that much in gambling but even if they can be considered addicted, they are still on their normal self.

As long as the gambler is responsible on his non-gambling activities, there is no problem being an addicted gambler.
1078  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: November 19, 2022, 11:41:17 PM
I just think of this;

- Errol Spence dominating his opponent when he return to the ring after a near-death car crash
- Keith Thurman dominating his opponent after 2 years rest

I don't like to put Science here but Spence experienced a worst but still a dominant fighter after he almost seen the door of the heaven on that car crash. Don't get me wrong and take that as a humor. Smiley
1079  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have Lucky Casino? on: November 17, 2022, 05:13:06 PM
There was no SCIENCE behind this but yes, I think most gamblers have that lucky casino-related stuff.

Since there was no real technical explanation about that, just go with the flow with your luck.

That was the same for those people who experienced beginner's luck.
1080  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Must it be the last game? on: November 17, 2022, 05:10:11 PM
Is there any way to do away with the last match that always cut the prediction and some you would be given a chances of cashing out but the last always ends the game not to be able to cashout.

Could you explain this please if there's any way we can do away with it lets begin the adjustments.

Cash-out options are designed to be triggered, of course in favor of the bookies. If your parlay is on a long-win streak already, for let's say 8 out 10, it just makes sense that on the 9th game, the cashout will not be available.

But I'm amazed that you are hitting all that parlay legs at 80% to 90%. Even with all Favorites, that was hard to do.

If you are playing with low odds, you really need to include many parlay legs to feel the profit. If you are playing with high odds or maybe around 2.0 - 2.3, a maximum of 5 is enough although the chance of hitting that should I say is below 50%.

I think you are good at parlay so I will suggest just continuing and I believe you will hit those soon.
