1061  Economy / Speculation / Re: Anyone else think "long term" hodlers are idiots? on: July 05, 2017, 12:14:49 PM
For me they don't look like an idiot at all if they are selling at huge price changes such as this and rebuying it when a huge dump occur like what happened in 2013. If they would not sell some, their profits would just be an imaginary one because they don't obtain the returns of their investments yet so its better for them to just trade it when crazy price movements occur.
1062  Economy / Speculation / Re: Last 4 months of bitcoin on: July 05, 2017, 11:35:56 AM
What do you see here? Shocked

All I see in that graph you have posted OP is bitcoin having a significant price rise and resistance that will be remembered throughout the history of bitcoin and cryptocurrency. I expect that in the next few months, we will see more people getting into bitcoin and more companies accepting bitcoin if everything will go well by august 1, 2017. If not then we might see another big dump making history repeat itself.
1063  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AICOIN ICO:: Building Wealth Thru AI & the Power of the Blockchain on: July 05, 2017, 11:02:15 AM
What happend with btc sent if btc down in suscription period ?

I know I receive a fixed aicon rate, but I lost anything if that happen ?
What do you mean by btc down in subscription period? If my perception is right do you mean that when btc network down in the subscription period? To answer it btc would not be down that easily and if btc network is down by that time, aicoin is still an altcoin so there must be a way after that to convert it into another altcoin so you won't lose any money if that happens.
1064  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We can't buy something with Bitcoin quickly on: July 05, 2017, 10:28:46 AM
then that's a serious problem , it wouldn't work for a merchants like a supermarket and any other similar merchants where people come and go , transaction based on trust would never be a good thing in the real world . people would feel bitcoin wasn't useful at all. someone have to take care about this , yeah a stakeholder.
There are some bitcoin scaling proposals that might help bitcoin achieve faster transactions. In August 1, one of the said proposal will be implemented and will be chosen based on how many miners/pools are signalling it. After implementing the changes, we might be able to buy something with bitcoin quickly because transactions getting a confirmation might get fast again and might solve the problem of not being able to buy something quickly with bitcoin.
1065  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you follow daily crypto news? on: July 05, 2017, 09:47:21 AM
All of them works best for me because there are some news you can't find on each and every one platform that you can find in the other. Even if that was the case, If I were to choose, the most convenient one to use specially when you are busy is this forum because news gets posted here most of the time as soon as it has been posted on others.
1066  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would you give bitcoin as a wedding gift? on: July 04, 2017, 12:00:42 PM
Bitcoin for me is really a nice gift to receive as a wedding gift especially if it is a whole bitcoin, but I won't gift it to a newlywed couple even if they are tech savvy because a newly wed couple might need money right away. They might rather like receiving gifts in form of valuable goods or fiat money for them to use in the days ahead. I know bitcoin can be meaningful to them if used correctly but I think it is weird to gift just someone bitcoin in their wedding unless the couple are both bitcoin users.
1067  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is instant way to get rich ? on: July 04, 2017, 10:52:59 AM
Bitcoin can bring a way for it's users to get rich and gain wealth, but it ain't an instant way to get rich. Like real money, one needs to work to gather bitcoin and do task to earn some. It is easier if one will buy bitcoin, hold and sell it until it gets a high price but it ain't gonna make one rich instantly, it will take time and of course one needs luck here.
1068  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Confirmation became really fast, what has happened? on: July 04, 2017, 10:02:18 AM
It seems to me that confirmation became really fast just all of a sudden starting yesterday and transactions can get through within just 25 mins to 3 hours at most using the recommended fee of 10k satoshi. Also, the suggested fees per bytes has been adjusted at bitcoinfees.21.co, so therefore I conclude that the number of transactions blockchain is handling in the past 336 hours is getting lesser and huge number of transactions might just be caused by a spam.
1069  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next Milestone for bitcoin?? on: July 04, 2017, 09:23:10 AM
As we see bitcoin start rising again what you predict about bitcoin's price by the end of 2017?? I predict bitcoin's price will be in between 3200$ to 3300$ by the end of this year.
I see that by the end of this year, bitcoin price will fall if bitcoin proposal implemented by August 1 is not good or if chain splits but if it is good, I predict bitcoin would go way up to 3400$ probably before this year ends. It is also possible that it would just go up and down slightly and by the end of this year it is still sitting at the same price we see now, which is very unlikely to happen because bitcoin is known for it's volatility.
1070  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH under $200? on: July 02, 2017, 12:53:56 PM
For first ETH correction, the price touched $200 bottom then it swung back hard because there was a reason - it was a fake news. Now it's second correction, there is no reason for it to bounce back. People realize the disadvantages of ETH, they sell off and never look back. So we may see sideway actions or under $200 bottom. My target of new low is $100-150. What do you think?
You are right that there is no reason for eth to bounce back to the prices it reached and it is not just because of people realizing the disadvantages of ETH, but also I think there are some successful ICO's in the past who are unloading their eth stash gained from their crowdsales. My new target about this new low is not just between 100$-150$ but somewhere below it. This is just my opinion though I might be wrong.
1071  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: On this week Ethereum down almost 30% on: July 01, 2017, 11:33:52 AM
What is the main reason behind. why Ethereum is down day by day what is the main reason
To be exact the main reason behind the ethereum fall we are seeing right now is that the price it has is all based only on speculations, and also because of the many ICO's that have occurred that accepts ethereum as payment. It is common with crypto though that dumps like these happen so I know it can recover someday but I think that it will go down more this week and the next coming weeks. I might be wrong though.
1072  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Risk management. on: June 30, 2017, 06:15:33 AM
Does anybody knows how I can do daily trading of Btc and still make daily income? Please I need a good response.
You can't always profit everyday by just doing trades on btc and altcoins. At the very least hold the coins you bought in a wallet that you own until you are in a good sum of profit. If you were to trade on altcoins that have a wide spread, you can profit with it daily just sell with profit but I don't guarantee that you will always profit because market can be bearish sometimes or stable.
1073  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Poloniex Or Bittrex? on: June 30, 2017, 04:42:53 AM
I used both exchanges to do trades. It is nice having accounts on both exchanges, this is just my personal opinion, but I like bittrex more than poloniex because of it's user interface and it having listed waves in it's exchange and having support to MGO with blockswap features that might be used on future coins to be listed like encryptotel. I also find it easier to use bittrex than poloniex but in terms of depositing and withdrawing coins I like both the same.
1074  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What kind of worst decisions do you take when trading? on: June 30, 2017, 03:49:15 AM
The worst decision that I have made when I was still trading without ever looking on a coin's roadmap and more a year ago is buying a shitcoin that was pumped to 10 satoshi from 1 satoshi then it have gone back to 1 satoshi overnight leaving me being unable to sell it. I am still holding that particular coin right now unable to sell it just because many are also holding creating a sell wall at 1 satoshi. I have made no profit and lost all the money I invested on it.
1075  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: This is a message to all crypto holders on: June 30, 2017, 02:05:01 AM
I also believe like the others that cryptocurrency is still in it's early stages and there is no need to panic sell but, it is better to sell some percent every time there is a pump to rebuy when there is a dump. It is better because you are not only making profit from it if you do it the right way, you can also increase your position or recover your investment amount so that what you will receive in the late stages are just pure profit. Remember, always holding all of one's stash is against crypto because if everyone will hold, no supply will circulate through the market.
1076  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The struggle in getting Bitcoins on: June 30, 2017, 12:58:46 AM
I understand that it is too hard to get bitcoins but if I were you, stop doing faucets and clicking ads everyday just to earn pennies, it is really a waste of time if you are doing that just to earn a few satoshi. If you really want to earn some bitcoin, offer up your services on the service section here on forum and look for ways to earn one easily without the need to click ads everyday and without visiting faucets, there are many threads here about ways to earn bitcoin.
1077  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin a good way to invest your money ? on: June 29, 2017, 06:01:40 AM
I heard that bitcoin is a good investment for making a huge profit in the future , is that right ? Because i want to buy some bitcoin in these days .
Bitcoin like what you have heard can be very profitable in the future and it might give you double of what you invested or more. If you want more profit from your investment, I guess wait for lower prices because the price right now might be really high but if you will hold it long term, it is alright to buy now. You can buy bitcoin on famous exchanges like bittrex, poloniex and coinbase or on localbitcoins where trades are peer-to-peer.
1078  Economy / Speculation / Re: downtime soon ? on: June 29, 2017, 04:20:05 AM
I believe that would not cause a downtime in price, it will just cause a big dump that is very normal in cryptocurrencies when their values are high. But if the winner would just hold those bitcoin, then nothing will ever happen because they will just send all those bitcoins to the winner, nothing more. Maybe those coins are what cause the correction today because by now I think they have already been auctioned.
1079  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin End World Poverty? on: June 29, 2017, 03:23:46 AM
Bitcoin I think cannot end world poverty, after all not all people can and will use bitcoin. Also, it really depends on the people if they will get rich or not with bitcoin, and it won't be the one to end world poverty because not all people can access the internet and not all owns a pc or a smartphone to store bitcoin, unless bitcoin will be tradeable offline too, one thing is for sure though, bitcoin can make more new rich people in the future.
1080  Economy / Economics / Re: Long term argument for bitcoin on: June 29, 2017, 01:47:42 AM
Hello,

Most of you are confident with the long term for Bitcoin. Yet some altcoins has the same features so why are you so confident about bitcoin and not about litecoin instead?

I compared them and approximatevily the same assets!
The only difference is that bitcoin was the first, is it that important?
You are right about some altcoins having the same features about bitcoin. In fact, there are some that have better features when compared to bitcoin but people are more confident with the long term for bitcoin just because it has built it's trust and bitcoin has proven multiple times already that even if price goes down, it will go up again someday and other altcoins are only bitcoin copycats or just a hyped coin. Even if you compare bitcoin and other altcoins, bitcoin would still prevail at least for now. There is still a possibility that someday a new altcoin will dethrone bitcoin. That being said, I don't think it would be litecoin because it only got segwit implemented, nothing more and many altcoins are better than litecoin too.
