1061  Economy / Economics / Re: WILL BITCOIN BE USED BY ALMOST EVERYONE IN 2022? on: January 04, 2017, 05:46:52 PM
It's so distant future. Cryptocurrency world is developing so fast who knows what will happen, if bitcoin survives. But if very large adoption happens worldwide and if bitcoin becomes fully accepted and regulated in financial sphere maybe by this time it will become dominant and equal to fiat and large number of people in the world will use it.
1062  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular? on: January 04, 2017, 05:37:06 PM
If the price was stable but low probably not so many people would be interested, but with higher value probably yes. But I think that bitcoin volatility is one of the factors that attracts users and keeps them interested. In many ways people consider bitcoin as investment, like shares or gold, so price volatility it's regular part of it along with the certain risk.
1063  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How would you store >100 Bitcoins? on: January 04, 2017, 03:00:39 PM
Probably the solution would be to store the coins in the multiple different wallets. The worst decision would be to keep bitcoins just in one place. And not to use online wallets.
But I guess I will never have such big amount of bitcoins, although I want to, so I will be not having such problems.  Grin
1064  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell your bitcoins within a month or two on: January 04, 2017, 10:22:57 AM
And how do you know this exactly? Do you have crystal ball or something? Seriously, I can understand some general speculations or predictions but knowing exactly the month and the price is too much. And without any explanation or data that led to this conclusion. What is the purpose of this?
1065  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Doubling bitcoins??? on: January 03, 2017, 12:49:49 PM
Thank you all, you have confirmed to me that so called doubling sites are scam and should be avoided. If this was true then everyone would be earning bitcoins this way and become rich in no time. And I agree, there is no such thing as free lunch or free money. For both you have to work hard.
1066  Economy / Service Discussion / Doubling bitcoins??? on: January 03, 2017, 10:14:09 AM
I see so many services offering to double, triple and multiple in all possible amounts the coins you put to them. This doesn't sound very convincing to me but some of them are offering the list of blockchain transactions as a proof that coins were credited. Is this pure scam like I think or is there a possibility to realy make some coins? Would like to hear your thoughts and experiences.
1067  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Happy 8th Birthday Bitcoin on: January 03, 2017, 09:51:08 AM
Who would say that already 8 years has passed. I wish I entered the bitcoin world earlier but hope that bitcoin will continue to last for many years from now on. And what a great way to celebrate the birthday with such a great price.that seems keep rising even more in the near future.
1068  Economy / Economics / Re: Guy loses 240-600 BTC trying to short on: January 02, 2017, 06:35:13 PM
Bad period for short position. I suppose that he thought the price will fall because it's going up for a long time now but there are no actual signs for this so he made the wrong decision. This was more hazard them rational decision and that costs him but he learned something for the future.
1069  Economy / Services / Re: INCREASED PAYOUT(7/13) ۩۞۩ secondstrade.com ★signature campaign★upto0.00041/post on: January 02, 2017, 10:28:51 AM
I don't like the decrease of payment rates either. We all hoped the with bitcoin going up we will also earn more. But what can we do, hope there will be no further decrease.
1070  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you store your bitcoins? on: January 02, 2017, 08:23:26 AM
I use two wallets blockchain and mycelium. I don't have much coins but I don't like to keep them just at one place. I'm happy with this wallets features and so far had no problems. But if I had large amount of bitcoins I wouldn't keep them in online wallets I think they are the least secure.
1071  Economy / Speculation / Re: Breaking: Bitcoin OFFICIALLY touches $1,000 on: January 01, 2017, 06:06:00 PM
Wow, that is realy great news! Hope we will continue this direction throughout the whole year. To be honest I thought 1000$ would come later in the January so this is a nice surprise. Happy New Year to us all!  Smiley
1072  Economy / Speculation / Re: Longest period of time with Bitcoin over $800 ever! on: January 01, 2017, 12:13:29 PM
Of course that some occasional dumps are normal and necessary but I hope they will not be too big and that the price will remain somwhere between 800 and 900 with tendencija to go up without big drops. Hope the 2017 will be the best so far for bitcoins users.
1073  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do Bitcoins have Tax?? on: January 01, 2017, 12:01:47 PM
Some governments are trying to regulate the bitcoin and tax is part of these regulations. But I think it most cases they don't put the taxes on bitcoin itself but on trading with it and other business related to bitcoin. So if you are trader on localbitcoins you have to pay taxes and if you are just holding them.in your wallet you don't.
1074  Economy / Lending / Re: 0.06 BTC loan on: December 31, 2016, 04:38:33 PM
Well, I gave up this loan so I will lock the thread. Will manage the other way.
Thank you all for advice and offers, I will have that in mind for the next time.
1075  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How can we encourage local businesses to accept BTC? on: December 31, 2016, 04:35:21 PM
i don't think that we can help them, they have to decide on their own

Yes we can, we can encourage them. We can explain them what are the benefits, like those related to taxes or that they will maybe easier find bitcoin investors then fiat investors or that with using bitcoins they could be more competitive. There are risks too, ofw course, but it's worth trying.
1076  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is anyone interested in learning how to trade bitcoin for a living? on: December 31, 2016, 04:26:13 PM
Aren't we all interested to trade bitcoin for a living? But this is not that easy and it's not easy to earn enough for decent living. Unless you have some other source of income. Many people are just telling fary tales but in real life they are not making money. If that would be so easy then everyone would do it.
1077  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you always missed the right time to sell/buy bitcoin? on: December 31, 2016, 04:16:48 PM
I wish I bought more bitcoins.much earlier when the price was low. I could earn very decent sum if I waited long enough. But at the end I'm not very patient person so maybe I couldn't wait to sell them. Now it's also not to late to buy some coins but they are very expensive and now I can't afford it.
1078  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you regret spending money on this year? on: December 31, 2016, 03:59:27 PM
The invest regret about spending money this year was buying a mobile phone that I didn't realy need and that it turned out in the end that it wasn't so good as I thought. It would be much better that I bought some bitcoins instead. But the man learns on mistakes, that is the price.
1079  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your good intentions regarding Bitcoin in 2017? on: December 30, 2016, 07:04:22 PM
For bitcoin in 2017 I wish more adoption, more promotion in media, more quality infrastructure and more equality with fiat money, less connections to illegal stuff. Personaly I wish I would collect as much bitcoin as I can and that the price will continue to rise
1080  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto bank on: December 30, 2016, 06:55:15 PM
At the moment there is no bitcoin or another cryptocurrency based bank. Many people don't support this idea because they think existing of bitcoins bank would ruin it but in general I don't think this is such a bad idea because more financial bitcoin related services would be available to the users.
