1061  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you recover from your loss in bitcoin investment? on: July 11, 2018, 03:54:44 PM
Not yet, i mades more losses when I tried to short on bitcoin,I guess it is better to just HOLD until the market fully recovers.
Shorting bitcoin can be extremely dangerous especially if we are in the middle of a bull market you should only short bitcoin when you have complete assurance that we are in a bear market your profits will be small but at least you wont lose money, I know it does not help you much since you already lost that money but holding your coins is by far the easiest way to make profits since you are letting the market do all the work for you, unlike trading in which you have to do all the work by yourself.
1062  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin's High Volatility on: July 11, 2018, 03:13:49 PM
The big volatility is connected with the fact that the market does not have a very high capitalization. The market is very manipulative, I hope this will change in the future
Without a doubt that is one big factor but even if the capitalization was very high like the forex market we will still see the same volatility and the reason is that the market of bitcoin is as you may guess based on bitcoin, while that may seem like a dumb observation it is not, whales are not holding dollars but bitcoin which means that if they have 100000 bitcoin it does not matter if each one of them is worth a dollar or one million dollars they still have the same amount of bitcoin and can manipulate the market as they wish.
1063  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto has gone to shit on: July 10, 2018, 07:59:36 PM
Scams everywhere now. Greedy ICOS that for some reason need 20 million dollars for a small project, Ridiculous.  Greed everywhere, thousands of coins that serve no purpose.  This is so far removed from satoshi's vision.  Premine bullshit  scams like onion.  Projects that have no reason to be on a fucking blockchain except to cash in money on the hype.  We need another fucking crash to clear out these shitcoins and scams, and you greedy mfer ICO devs are the cause of this bullshit.
This is happening because people are not content with the profits bitcoin could give to them, they want more, they want to be able to get similar profits to the ones the early adopters of bitcoin got and by doing so they are supporting the growing industry of icos in which most of them are scams, it is sad because those that want to multiply their money the most are the ones that at the end are going to lose their money when the developers of those icos disappear or are unable to make their projects a reality.
1064  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you afraid of the market now? on: July 10, 2018, 07:25:59 PM
Honestly speaking it is really alarming now that price is going down and down and down. However, the reason I am still here is that, I am aure that this will recover and shall acquire  higher value than what it has reached before.
If we will be afraid and shall not take the risk, nothing good will happen. We will only lose.
The price has become stable once again, sometimes it goes down and sometimes it goes up but not by much so I assume we are going to move within this range for some time, but you are correct in the rest of your post, the reason I'm still in this market despite everything is that I trust a recovery will eventually happen, but as always the issue is that we do not know when that is going to happen so we are left with two options, to leave the market or to hold and to me to leave the market is not an option.
1065  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the reasons why you must take risk in crypto market? on: July 10, 2018, 05:41:24 PM
This question has been on my mind, I have been pandering on the reason why we should take risk despite the fact that people who take the same risk later loose everything, some time people consider taking risk as the only way to make it in life,  despite this believe people who take risk in the past are still regleting it,  dose it mean that you can not succeed without taking risk or that risk is what we must take in life,  is there any way one can live on earth without taking risk
This is a simple question to answer, we do it for the reward, it is true that many people that have invested in this market have lost a lot of money but there is also a significant amount of members in the forum that have made fortunes or that at least have improved their life considerably through cryptocurrencies, I have not become millionaire thanks to bitcoin but I did got some profits and the only thing I did was buy some bitcoin and hold so making money is not as difficult in this market as people think, the problem is that people take great risks where there is no reward to be had like investing in scam icos.
1066  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is there any fast and easy money here in cryptocurrency? on: July 10, 2018, 05:09:02 PM
there is always, always fast and easy money to be made in cryptocurrency. unfortunately you're likely to be the one supplying it to someone else when they milk you like a pro.

most of the people making fast and easy money got their money hard and slow in the first place and are now enjoying the gravy.
Correct, it is incredible how many newbies try to run before they even know how to walk, getting profits is not easy and there is a learning curve and the more you learn the more you realize you will have to learn, many people do not want that so they are never going to achieve what they most desire which is a life in which they make a lot of money easily and it gets even worse since not only they are not going to achieve those results but they will lose all their money.
1067  Economy / Speculation / Re: How long will the bear market last? on: July 10, 2018, 04:35:36 PM
last time the bear market was around 1 and half year so we should think this time already 6months completed so it may last for more than 3 months more then we may see all-time high prices
No, the last time the bear market lasted three years that should give us a guide of how long this bear market can last, 3 or 4 years in my opinion is the worst case scenario and the best case scenario is that the bear market only last 1 year but the most likely scenario is that this market last for 2 years which means that as of right now we have only experimented 25% of the bear market so all of those waiting for a fast recovery are probably going to be disappointed with bitcoin for some time.
1068  Economy / Speculation / Re: will really the bitcoin and all alts go like last december..? on: July 08, 2018, 05:30:23 PM
will really the bitcoin and all alts go like last December..? as we can see 10X down every coin when compared to december-2017 price..
No, it is not going to happen the price may skyrocket in the future that is correct, but I do not understand this fixation with the end of the year people seem to have, it could happen tomorrow or in 20 years or in any date in between, that is not important what it is important is to keep holding your coins, to buy more if you are able to do it and wait for that day whenever it happens, so do not select a particular date of when you think the recovery will start or you will most likely get discouraged when that does not happen.
1069  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to make money on the fall of the market. on: July 08, 2018, 04:10:09 PM
I think this is a very complicated issue. Maybe my answer is not of high quality. I think the cryptocurrency fell. The best way to make money is to wait for it to rebound. Then you can make money. This is similar to the stocks. Buy low and sell high are the rules of the game.

Buying right now is a good option so it is not a bad advice since the price is not going to get that much cheaper, so we must take advantage of the low prices and get more coins than what we could get if we bought at the all time high, the only problem is that we come from a very intense bull market so most people have spent all their money already and they do not have any more money left to invest in this market which is another reason of why we see stagnant prices.
1070  Economy / Economics / Re: Can human stupidity affect the movement of the market? on: July 08, 2018, 03:10:41 PM
Exactly! People go into battle having no enough weapon and with lacking preparation that results to be lost along the way. It is important to do research and formulate not only a plan, but with back up, so that whatever happens or should their be any downturns you know what proper approach to consider or apply. Uninformed decision and panicking can be the cause of increasing and decreasing number of demand. It's better to stay patient, positive, and hopeful.
What it happens is that people do not want to do what it is necessary to become rich, I have seen studies that shows that poor people when asked, do you have a plan to become rich and which is it? They answer winning the lottery, and we know that is not really a plan and those that invest without any knowledge in the market are just wishing winning the lottery and invest in a coin that goes 100x without having to do any study and that is simply not going to happen.
1071  Economy / Economics / Re: Uganda Bans VPNs To Prevent Users From Dodging Its Absurd New Social Media Tax on: July 07, 2018, 09:35:53 PM
That is just the way some governments think, they are charging people for something they do not even provide and that has no direct harmful effects to people like alcohol and cigars do, this is why we need bitcoin and similar technologies, governments are too big and too strong and the only thing they want is to become even bigger and stronger and a limit needs to be put in place and since they are not going to self regulate themselves society will have to do it for them with the use of new technologies.
1072  Economy / Economics / Re: [ASK] How are you going to handle too much debt? on: July 07, 2018, 09:00:21 PM
Divide your debt into parts which are less than 20% of your monthly income and start paying out your debt every month, step by step. You have to set your mind on enjoying paying out that debt more than going to cafes, buying expensive unnecessary things or paying for any other entertainment, because now your biggest entertainment should be doing something for reducing your debt. Since you are concerned about how to solve this problem, you can't actually have fun with other things.
This is the right advice people enjoy too much spending money and even worse they love even more to spend money they do not even have, when it should be the other way you should enjoy paying your debts and saving, those that do will have a better life than those that do not even if they earned the same income, those that spend money do not understand that by spending in unnecessary things they are condemning themselves to work for the rest of their lives and that is something I do not want.
1073  Economy / Economics / Re: The Future of Cryptocurrency on: July 07, 2018, 08:26:29 PM
Most coins will be adopted in future and I hope it will be soon, as we see crypto world develop very quickly and btc will grow fast as we can imagine, in my opinion in 1-2 years capitalization can be few trillions dollars, I am sure Eos,ethereum, ripple, btc, neo, vechain, stratis will surprise us
I disagree I do not see a future where there are many cryptocurrencies being widely adopted unless all governments of the world decide they want to release their own cryptocurrencies, after all we do not need that many coins being adopted by everyone as long as coins like bitcoin and ethereum are the coins that are adopted, the rest of the coins are going to be niche coins only used by a small segment of the population with very specific needs.
1074  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will kill itself on: July 07, 2018, 04:46:54 PM
True bitcoin is using to illigal activites like laundering or scamming people but it's not bitcoin. Bitcoin is legit and it is very helpful to us. Bitcoin is difference who are using bitcoin to not useful way.

Bitcoin is good investment and they help people and bitcoin recover from any issues or any problems.
The media is trying to use the same rationale that is used against guns and are trying to use it against bitcoin, they are trying to ban guns in many countries with the excuse that guns kill when in fact the ones that kill are the people, guns are just a tool, but the great advantage of bitcoin is that bitcoin is not a weapon, bitcoin is just a currency, so people are not going to be deceived that easily by that argument since you cannot hurt anybody directly with your bitcoin.
1075  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you recover from your loss in bitcoin investment? on: July 06, 2018, 05:08:07 PM
First of all, I am not in a loss as a I am buying Bitcoin since a very early stage, also, time will recover Bitcoin price, just wait up a little Smiley
Good for you, many people are complaining about the price but they were the ones to buy bitcoin when its price was very high instead of just being patient and wait for the day the price went down, while I'm not an early adopter I also bought bitcoin when it was cheaper than its current price so I'm still in profit as well, but obviously I would like the price of bitcoin to be way higher than its current price but that is something that is out of my control and I have decided to hold until the day the price recovers.
1076  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why aren't cryptocurrencies successful as a medium of payment on: July 06, 2018, 04:24:25 PM
As you can see right now only Bitcoin is famous and known among the big amount of people. People are afraid of chances and on the other hand, they don't understand the benefit of the blockchain and cryptocurrencies, that is the reason why we are not using crypto as dollars for now, but in few years it will become common.
Another reason is that with the new regulations governments are trying to limit the capabilities of people to acquire cryptocurrencies, in the past you could buy coins without identifying yourself and now it is becoming more common to have to give your data away to get bitcoin, this goes against the philosophy of cryptocurrencies that offered a way to send transactions all over the world without the intermission of third parties and with a low barrier entry of only needing access to a computer to do so.
1077  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin's High Volatility on: July 06, 2018, 03:46:11 PM
As far as i know bitcoin has a high volatility given the fact that it is in demand in the market but i did not expect hat it is so high that it can really go from 1-100 and 100-0.
I want your insights about this volatility of bitcoin.
You did not expected this level of volatility? I find that to be very odd bitcoin has been this volatile for a long time and you can see that bitcoin skyrocketed like this in the past and it also crashed after it skyrocketed, so this is nothing new and anyone that took the time to take a look to the history of bitcoin will see that I'm not lying at all, so if you were not expecting this level of volatility after all the evidence that points to the contrary then that is your fault.
1078  Economy / Economics / Re: A small village strengthening it's Economy by cryptocurrencies. on: July 06, 2018, 02:59:56 PM
A small japanese village named, Nishiawakura is making their economy much more beneficial with the help of cryptocurrencies by launching a Initial Coin Offering. I think it is a best way to help some small villages to grow up with really good profits and also it might bring the cryptocurrencies some more close to legalisation.

The village is home of approximately 1500 villagers and and they unveiled their plans to launch a regional initial coin offering.
Report by coindesk https://www.coindesk.com/japanese-village-to-launch-nations-first-municipal-ico/

This is a perfect head start and i hope that several such villages can soon adapt this strategy to strengthen their economy
People are used to only have national currencies printed by governments but in the past there were regional currencies that were used only in certain regions of a country and even some towns had their own currencies as well, with cryptocurrencies now becoming more widely adopted there is the possibility for small villages to create their own smart contracts and their own coins, and through very small icos they could get funding to create projects in their community, so it seems cryptocurrencies are already changing the way people perceive the economy and that is a good thing.
1079  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trust you trading experience and don't panic on: July 05, 2018, 08:36:13 PM
I've witnessed some of the crashes last year and I still feel the panic everytime bitcoin touches another low just like the recent $5k mark. The only difference is I did not sell anything which is a good improvement for me. I hope that if another crash like this happened again, I'll be numb just like a rock.
Do not worry that happens to everyone, the first crash that you experiment when you have money invested can be really painful and it is an experience you never forget, but once that is over any other crash is not going to seem so big and in fact you will be surprised by your ability to remain calm during the crash, that happened to me with this crash since it was not my first and now I know that it does not matter what it happens with bitcoin or altcoins I will resist it.
1080  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is there any fast and easy money here in cryptocurrency? on: July 05, 2018, 08:04:02 PM
Bear in mind that there is no easy money cryptocurrency or in any other business ventures. You need to work hard invest your valuable time and  effort to earn profits. Once you invest in cryptocurrency you have to be patient because  you cannot earn your profits and ROI in a matter of seconds. When you patiently wait for sure it will be benifial to you.
Correct, money may seem to come easy to some people and then people wonder how did they do it, but they are only seeing the tip of the iceberg they are not seeing all the effort they made in order to get those kind of results, it is very easy to see that a day trader is making a lot of money but what you do not see is all the books he read and all the money he lost in order to acquire the experience necessary to trade at such a high level and be able to obtain fast profits.
