1061  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin SV Drama on: January 17, 2020, 02:28:42 PM
Yes, i must say bitcoin SV is good actor, the coin can make people have mindset up trend is running but I'm sure they are wrong. Movement from rumors is really funny and the worst thing is many people believe that. Fake movement create to invite people replace their money for empty hope. Soon bitcoin SV will came back into real position and that time people who already replace their money will get lost/ stuck. We should learn about correction, wave and real movement before sure this is the right moment to replace trust.
Agree with you, I think the plot made by BSV is pretty neat and makes it seem like this all happened naturally, but unfortunately all who are here have started to realize this and it doesn't take long to be lulled in the drama made by BSV , we just wait for the steps that will be taken by BSV and I hope this drama will pass quickly.
1062  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ideas for a new Bitcoin name? on: January 17, 2020, 11:20:07 AM
Hi All,

I love this community and what it stands for, so im trying to start a new project to make it like Bitcoin but with small differences. So i need ideas for a new name. As this is a community project, i will pick whatever name you guys want, please let me know.

What I expect from the hope that you want to create is not manipulating, recently I am disgusted by the existence of altcoin in the name of bitcoin but not in accordance with reality. I hope you consider the name well so as not to disappoint its users who expect more from your creations.
1063  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Monero Be The Best Investment In 2020? on: January 16, 2020, 06:14:32 PM
Well!! Did you know? One of the altcoin called monero has gained so much popularity in the crypto market, as it is showing the best signs in the market.
Several cryptocurrency experts assume that monero has the ability to show its potential in the crypto market.

According to crypto expert monero price will rise high in the coming days.
https://coinpedia.org/information/xmr-monero-price-prediction/

Let me know your point of view on this?
This is just how monero maintains its title as the first privacy coin in cryptocurrency, so that it can still compete with new coins that skyrocket and become a favorite, I think if monero can consider this, it is no longer possible, but it is certain that the monero can return to glory like in the beginning emergence. And I hope monero will again dare to compete and side by side with other coins.
1064  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: token supply on: January 16, 2020, 04:12:50 PM
sometimes I think if you look at the amount of token supply in such a large amount that trillions and trillions after the project runs several months or years, the token will be burned, what for if you make tokens with a large supply, but will be burned, ...?

 Roll Eyes
Yes, it is indeed a kind of marketing strategy, I think they are taking quite a high risk for this kind of strategy, this could be natural if their tokens are in demand in the market. But it would be very unfortunate if in the long run their strategy did not work, but again I think the project owner has prepared anticipation about such things for their good name.
1065  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do scam ICOs really taken to the court? on: January 16, 2020, 02:17:08 PM
I saw some of the scam busters in the forum talking about taking the case to the court on scam ICOs, my question is, is it really happening.

Can you give me scam ICO that was already taken to the court and teams are being punished?
I know about Centra.. so give me others.
There are a number of cases that have been brought to justice, and I feel that something like this must exist in order to have a deterrent effect, but unfortunately this is not evenly distributed, where small cases are not heeded and easily disappear. In the future, hopefully there will be a legal follow-up on the scamm project so that they will be deterred and we will not regret it in the future.
1066  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hottest alts of 2020 on: January 16, 2020, 11:36:26 AM
What do you think the hottest alts will be this year?

Very interested in getting strong opinions on this.

Why dont you tell us your opinion first? If you are asking this way, everyone will obviously shill their own bags. But yea lets give it a try, my top picks are:

1. Dogecoin
2. Mooncoin
3. Venezuelan Petro
4. PotCoin
5. TrumpCoin
6. PutinCoin and Putin Classic
7. Whoppercoin
8. Unobtanium
9. Cat Coins
10. Useless Ethereum Token

Edit:

Sorry forgot about:

11. UFOCoin and 12. F*** Token

A good list, this is a list that we must have in determining our future of cryptocurrency. So that when we have assets, we are not confused about where to save them. We can not always depend on a coin top, and indeed the best step is to raise coins as your list makes.
1067  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China Government Cryptocurrency on: January 16, 2020, 07:51:52 AM
China is planning to launch their crypto currency, with attention to distribution and adoption, since they are involving all four major banks in the country, two major e-commerce websites Alibaba and Tencent and UnionPay as online payment provider for all four state banks involved in the project

crypto will be centralized and controlled by the state, but high level of acceptance shall be expected

plan is to launch it no later than 2020, november 11, according to latest news, will be interesting how this is going to influence crypto markets this year
The worst possibility is when one day China monopolizes cryptocurrency. I think we should examine very well the intentions and objectives of the Chinese government to do this, which is feared the effects of what China is doing have a negative impact on cryptocurrency, and if it has an impact on cryptocurrency then it will also affect us all.
1068  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I feared new altcoins might be left out on: January 15, 2020, 04:37:18 PM
I feared new altcoins will be left out so i start selling some coins for bitcoin because it can be a big blow if altcoin fails to surge like in 2017 after bitcoin reach a new ATH, what do you think? And what would you have done in my position
I think you only need to re-select altcoin which you want to maintain, not all altcoins are bad, excessive worry sometimes affects, it is undeniable that many new coins cannot last long. But not all of them, there are some that can survive and are worth investing.
1069  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Birthday gift ideas: which 3 fun altcoins to choose? (Jesuscoin, Dogecoin ... ) on: January 15, 2020, 03:13:11 PM
Hey guys,

In need to pick 3 fun altcoins to give as a gift to my bro. Was thinking about Jesus Coin, DogeCoin and something else. What other fun coins are out there? Needed not for investment but only for kicks, gonna buy like 10$ each Smiley Please throw some ideas for i would be really grateful!

Requirement
a) any chance that all 3 of them would be in one exchange?
b) one wallet (i.e.  Exodus) holds all 3 coins (so i could just send recovery/backuo key or login info)

Big thank you for any thoughts.
Of course I did not choose between the list, but I still consider doge for the short term, of course if there are additional options I would choose ETH and NEO, the rest I did not glance at it. Rather than me saving with great concern.
1070  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to proving e-mail address? on: January 15, 2020, 01:53:39 PM
Sometimes we wants not so much anonymity, but valuable participation in crypto community.
How to prove e-mail address?
Suppose, that I am registered user and Bob want to be register.
First stage is online off-blockchain:
Bob search registered users online, send (maybe by crypted channel) own e-mail address.
I know his e-mail address
I publish on lobckchain hash of my secret number
I sent him my secret number.
He public full secret number singed by him.

How to ensure, I not stole his e-mail address?
maybe..
he send to 2 or more random users his e-mail address and get 2-3 secrets?
Maybe are better, faster ways?
From what you said, I can only understand the conditions for participating in a project, I also read many times to confirm what you mean. So here you go, in some projects that require accurate or valid data from every participant who registers, I think you also need to ensure that your email is active and of course the data you provide is valid. If you are sure your data is valid, then all your decisions are worthy of joining determined by the project itself. And I don't think we can sue such decisions.
1071  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Eidoo wallet on: January 15, 2020, 12:38:57 PM
Mew will be the suggested by most users here, but mew and eidoo have different function. You can see for yourself the difference between them.
Using either of them is fine. But for me, choosing a wallet for bounty, mew is your best option, but for storing your funds, eidoo will be the best option.
Yes, indeed, MEW is still a favorite for storing assets, because security and privacy are sufficiently maintained, and can also add to our memory because as we know, that MEW cannot change passwords, for me that is a good thing, because the evidence from we love what we have so we have to remember it. There are other good wallets, but I don't think this is the time to compare them. Because everyone's tastes are different.
1072  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin’s Price Support on: January 15, 2020, 07:49:38 AM
VDS is a dark horse in the cryptocurrency market at the beginning of 2019 with its decentralized, ecological vision of bringing everyone real freedom. The depressing crypto industry was ignited by the VDS’s characteristics of anonymity and privacy. Bitcoin stopped its continuous drop when VDS got released in February, and rose by 68% when VDS ushered into its first bull market. Is it a coincidence? Or is VDS more closely related to BTC?

This starts with the relationship between VDS and BTC. VDS initiated Resonance Trade system to allow Bitcoin players to perform a decentralized transaction process through cross-chain method.  After converting BTC assets to Vollar, there comes more options. Through VDS, BTC users can regain the privacy of their BTC assets. In the anonymous transaction of Resonance Trade and Zero-knowledge Proof and the distributed decentralized exchanges, BTC is completely set free from the monitoring of centralized institutions. In the context of centralized penetration, this is already an urgent need for Bitcoin players, which means that VDS offers BTC a truly free and secure exit. In addition, there’s more room for Bitcoin players to participate in VDS ecology. Resonance Trade alone provides plenty of room for Bitcoin players to make a profit.

Vollar is in high demands in its process of rapid development, whether it is the revenue of building super master nodes, development of smart contract, or expansion of the Trust Stamp network. More BTC will be resonated into Vollar when there are bigger demands in the ecology. In this process, the decrease of resonance level determines the increase in resonance price, which will cast influence as the dominant factor in the market, enabling Vollar to have a higher ROI. Eco-builders can set up super master nodes to serve the network, and have long-term value-added income in the process.

From the design point of VDS and the resonance system, it is not difficult to find out its close correlation with BTC. VDS not only provides Bitcoin holders with a secure and free privacy channel, but also allows BTC to play a greater role in the value. Therefore, the development process of VDS is bound to have a positive impact on the BTC market. BTC will flow through VDS ecology at multiple rounds, as an incentive to stimulate redevelopment. Equitable distribution mechanisms are also an essential prerequisite for long-term development.

VDS raised 4,500 BTC at its launch. Many Bitcoin holders believe in its value and the feasibility of solving the current dilemma, even the developer who has mined the 270th block of Bitcoin is involved. It seems that VDS has been inseparable from Bitcoin since its inception. Throughout the price curve, VDS and BTC also have a high degree of overlap. BTC hit its final low and stopped a bear market that had lasted nearly a year as VDS went online. In early May, VDS rose by 55% in a single day, and Bitcoin rose by 17% the next day. By the end of June, volume of VID day-create hit 190,000, at the same time, BTC reaches the highest price of the year.

Many are not coincidences, but the conclusions of repeated verifications. VDS provides a more secure privacy space for BTC and opens a whole new chapter of development for Bitcoin holders, targeting highly overlapping market participants through resonance and series of mechanisms. The overlap of user groups also indicates that the two groups have almost the same sense of market and therefore made the same judgments.

The design concept of VDS’s pursuit of freedom and decentralization is highly consistent with the spirit of Bitcoin, and they complement each other in the path of decentralization.

And the interaction between VDS and BTC may not be limited to price movements in the future. Due to low transaction speed and lack of application scenarios, Bitcoin has long been regarded as “digital gold” and can only serve as a reserve. However, the development of VDS ecosystem is more inclined to the diversity of application scenarios, such as anonymous transaction, secret chat, expansion of the Trust Stamp, smart contract, etc. VDS has mapped out and integrated interpersonal communication, free finance, business connection, consumer capital, application landing, and networking freedom, to form a decentralized consensus ecosystem of interconnection and interaction. Resonance Trade connects VDS with BTC and provides BTC with more application space. Especially now that Bitcoin transactions are becoming more and more transparent, the anonymity of Bitcoin network has also become a false proposition. Through Resonance Trade together with anonymous transaction, Bitcoin can relive its original vision of anonymous privacy. Through the combination of chain-business and Trust Stamp, Bitcoin has a new direction of circulation and will no longer be used only as a storage asset. When VDS truly becomes the link between virtual and reality, space and time, and by the time when the decentralized consensus ecosystem is completed, Bitcoin will also realize its original vision of decentralization and freedom of privacy. BTC enlightens the direction of VDS, and VDS in return will expand the spirit of Bitcoin to the wilder world.
To be a bitcoin supporter, I think VDS has enough capabilities, but the problem is how long VDS can last to accompany Bitcoin, I always support all coins that try to stick to the top, as long as they are stable I think they can last a long time, and hopefully avoid scamm which is annoying. Because it can make everything turn around quickly.
1073  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mining crypto by walking on: January 14, 2020, 04:32:09 PM
A couple of years ago, there was a crypto project named "MangoCoinz" which allowed anyone to earn crypto by simply walking. The app used the smartphone's pedometer to keep track of the steps taken by an specific person. This encouraged anyone to exercise their body while getting paid in return. While this was great back then, the project is no longer being developed. Something like this would've been great to have in the mainstream world today, but I guess there was lack of demand for it back then.

I'd hope that someday a new dev team takes charge of the "MangoCoinz" project or simply create a fork of their own, to allow people to "mine" crypto by walking. It's completely revolutionary way of doing exercise while getting paid in return. Maybe launching an ERC-20 token with its own app will do the trick? Whichever way it is, I look forward towards the revival of an app that would work just like "MangoCoinz" did in its early days.

Do you think something like this will be viable in the future? Huh
I have tried this, but because there is little interest, this also dies, there is actually an easier way to shake, but if walking is also good for our health, this is a unique way but only development needs to be added so that this can last long.
1074  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin SV, A Game Changer? on: January 14, 2020, 03:24:28 PM
Bitcoin SV already hit BNB, now BSV price is more than ETH and I think it can hit ETH  in near futur, what do you think?
That can happen in the short term, ETH has been a bitcoin companion with a fairly long period, SV might be able to phase it but not for a long period, because ETH will not let the water fall asleep. Many coins have done that, but not last long. So I can't expect much from SV
1075  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So far there is no Cryptocurrency Regulations in the UK on: January 14, 2020, 01:13:46 PM
As per a survey conducted by a London-based law firm, 20% of the affluent millennial of the UK have invested in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
The government of the UK has issued warnings for crypto-asset regulations but still, it is legal in the country.

Read here: https://coinpedia.org/cryptocurrency-regulation/cryptocurrency-regulations-in-the-uk/

What's your point of view on this?
Of course this is arguably a good system, I don't know how long it lasts, I think Britain always has a different pattern compared to the US and China, although there will definitely be a bit of similarity in rules there. Of course the space for investors in the UK will always be monitored for the sake of creating a positive environment for all people, therefore they think of steps that have minimal risk even though there will always be controversy over every policy.
1076  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the altcoin market being manipulated in 2020? on: January 14, 2020, 12:03:39 PM
Hello There!  Wink

At one time, I stopped being interested in the altcoin-markets because of the situation there. Famous projects were dropping their bags off to gullible investors to get even more money.

Do you think the situation has changed in the year 2020?  Huh
Is it safe to trade ERC-20 tokens and is it possible to earn something else?
Yes there are indications there, but I don't know absolutely about it, and for me investing with ERC20 is safe if you know and be patient that everything will be restored. Regarding manipulation, I think it is indeed possible because anything here is very difficult to guess.
1077  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Year of changed altcoin discussion mentality on: January 13, 2020, 03:34:28 PM
many say that 2020 is a year of revival for the cryptoqurrency market again and we all of course expect this to happen soon. we have gone through 2 bad seasons especially at the price of cryptoqurrency in this industry.but I believe that the market will get better soon.
What we need to prepare is a mentality that is ready to accept the pros and cons of 2020, hopefully what we dream can all happen. Whatever happens we still have to think positively that all will be fine, with the rise of altcoin there will be many options that we can use in cryptocurrency.
1078  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Progress Since 2017 on: January 13, 2020, 02:24:27 PM
What progress did Ethereum make since 2017?
Of course there has been a lot of progress that has been made by ETH from the system, price and adaptation of all, this is the strength. Of course if we describe it will be very long considering the many ups and downs that are passed through the ETH, but it was all answered with the consistency of ETH as a coin top. Of course this trend is expected to have an impact on the strengthening of the price of ETH, we will wait for how this ETH 2.0 works
1079  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PoW to PoS question on: January 13, 2020, 11:43:10 AM
Is Proof of Work is going to lose popularity compared to Proof of Stake? Ethereum is going to PoS. Angry
Is there going to be a lot of hash (computational) power idle because of shifting to PoS?  Sad
Where that power be used then? Will it address such decentralized computing projects as Golem, Storj, Sia, etc?  Cheesy
This is just a matter of taste, what I see here is not to turn off POW POS, although POS does have some advantages, I think like this, there will be no POS if there is no POW, there is a POS because updating is not yet in POW. And I am sure, the POS here is not to turn off POW, because the blockchain is too dear if it is turned off because of its longevity.
1080  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coming from altcoin to bitcoin on: January 13, 2020, 10:08:08 AM
I don't know if its the right call or not but i just feel like its better to sell my bags of altcoins for bitcoin, most of the altcoins i owned are not top altcoins, mostly new coins from bounties and I've seen coins worth of 2k turn 20$ while holding them, finally i decide to take out the losses and invest in bitcoin, if you are holding any altcoins that aren't good enough do not hesitate to sell for bitcoin to at least make some profits
If you think that is the best decision, then I support it, because indeed if we invest in a new altcoin, we like to hesitate and reconsider whether the steps we are taking are right or wrong, and what I see is that you chose to focus on bitcoin, that is the best decision. Although the exchange rate from altcoin to bitcoin is far, but I think you will enjoy the results later. So don't regret what you have decided. Because that is the best decision.
