How many stakes are there total?

The amount of stakes gets detemined by the number of bounty participants and their ranks. a full member for example gets 50 stakes a week, lower members get 20, ...

Hi!Is it okay that I answered no in the avatar on the form for signature campaign registration?I read that Jr.member and members are not required. And I did not understand what avatar means

your avatar is the picture of the project logo, but indeed it wasn't obligated for members and jr members.

sad to see these sell walls.

it's been speculated large whales are trying to keep prices down until the arch release so that they can keep accumulating. I hope they keep succeeding for a few months so I can accumulate as well, I'm targetting 50K Sonm by august next year
Same thing happened after the ICO, where the price was kept around 3-4 cents for a long time. Multiplied my stash though, so I'm very happy about that.

Do you mean ~3$ by 50k by the way?

Exactly, we see that often with ICO's. No, I meant an amount of 50.000 sonm. I think by august it could be around 1 - 2$, by december 2018 around 3$, by december 2020 between 10 - 20$ as a result of global hardware development in the form of laptops capable of supercomputing
Oh I see.

$20 by the end of 2020 seems a bit extreme, but on the other hand there already were some coins that had such big returns... so who knows.

that would be an 8 billion dollar marketcap. Like I said, they could reach that but only if they offer more than just the global supercomputing network. Laptops for individual and business use that would operate on the sonm network would be a massive step forward I think
If they could adapt games in a way that would allow for most of the computing to happen remotely without introducing latency that would be a big plus too. People with less money could then rent computing power to play games in 1080p on high settings for example. While hardcore enthusiasts would still end up buying tangible hardware to run 4k@60fps, while also being able to rent out their hardware while they aren't play.

Perhaps there's a way to tap into the ad revenue market as well...

Lots of exciting opportunities for SONM once the main platform is live and functional. Depending on how they play it, it wouldn't be impossible to reach a similar market value as Alphabet or Facebook within a decade.

the best thing about sonm however is the team. A company cann have plans to go to the moon, but if they don't have rocket fuel they can plan all they want. The Sonm team actually has the (intellectual) tools to handle the job

HELLO EVERYONE!

i read the op, then i saw that you conducted the pre sale last aug. i want to know about it..

1. is is successful?
2. did it sold out?
3. how much was raised?

answers are very appreciated.
You can see it on their site : https://datum.org/ , scroll down or search this : the datum presale
It was raised 5000 ETH

And it was successful because it did sell out Smiley

By the way, 5000 eth was the soft cap of the project so it is achieved too.

5000 for the pre sale? thats a great amount already. but how about the token sale? what is your soft cap and the hard cap?
or are you refering that 5000 to be tha soft cap already for the token sale itself which is already raised during pre sale?

Yes, 5000 was the hard cap of the pre-sale and it was the soft cap of the project. Now it is not how much more investment will be there, the project will continue no matter what happens.

I think datum could really surprise us, they're constantly active and the project is really gonna hit it off, no doubt. I think they should try to create some sort of reverse ad blocker, where it blocks our data from companies like facebook who take it without rewarding us
1068  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Long Term HODL Cryptos on: October 24, 2017, 09:26:05 AM
what about ELECTRONEUM guys? is it good to invest in this crypto coin?

it's not a bad coin IMO. I think it was a little overhyped, but all in all the concept of smartphone mining is pretty cool. It's been estimated that smartphone use will grow exponentially, so incorporating a mining aspect, no matter how small, sounds really smart. It's kinda what sonm will accomplish, but on a more detailed market
1069  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Change - The First Decentralysed Crypto Bank [ICO September 16th] on: October 24, 2017, 08:42:32 AM
Can someone please update me on what's been going on with this project? is it going to be listed soon at a big exchange?

Not rely much is going on so far  concerning more exchange listings, I think the current price level is very much unacceptable, don't know when this market sentiments to new ICOs will change
The price is very cheap at etherdelta so we need to wait until the price is trading above ICO price, usually this kind of project does not pump easily.
If I am not mistaken it's similar to Polybius Bank project, the price is below ICO until now.

Stupid people are selling before it hits decent exchanges. Wait until the bounty hunters start dumping, prices will be even lower, which makes it a great time to accumulate, I think CAG could easily reach 5$ a coin
1070  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SONM: Supercomputer Organized by Network Mining on: October 23, 2017, 06:12:08 PM
Guys could this project  ever hit $5? I mean EOS did it also with almost same coin total supply.
I think $1 in December
Sounds about right, maybe January or February but probably no later than that.

We'll see, institutional money is now free to enter bitcoin as its total value is 100 billion. The banks/governments can therefore invest in it without any problems. As they can't do that with the alts, it's possible we'll see bitcoin go up to 7 or 8K, keeping the alts a little longer in the shadows. Now, Sonm will reach 1$ no doubt before august of next year, but what happens between then and now is anybodies guess

LOL institutional investors are not very interested in cryptocurrencies. All investments by huge funds are marginal. Liquidity and volatility is the main issues stopping institutional investors and from further steps in crypto market.

Wrong, they're extremely interested. When a bank says 'dont buy' they're saying 'hold on, we're buying now, you wait your turn'

Shift - Golem - Waves - Litecoin-XVG

read up on Sonm, friend, and compare it to Golem. The whitepaper is incredible and shows that they're a real company with a clear roadmap

Whoever said faking data is worth the 50 cents of hard work, there are other types of personal data besides Facebook clicks that are way more valuable. Like I said before, why would Ashley Madison pay people a good salary to create fake profiles? Because it earns them more in subscriptions.

You could say the buyers of that data are the men on Ashley Madison who thought they were talking to real women.

And now Datum says in their whitepaper:

Initially the Datum Network will rely on buyers to validate data and regulate fake or invalid data

It would be quite easy to validate real or fake data; if a company receives data from 1000 people saying 50% of them are interested in buying the product, and only 25% actually buys it, they know the data is 50% invalid. Datum could then check those 1000 people and look for inconsistencies. Suspicious profiles could be banned from selling their data as a result. I don't know actually, it seems highly difficult to completely get rid of fake data, I mean how many of us have ever lied on the internet? 99,9999999999% doesn't seem like an exaggeration

Not sure why you invested in art if you feel it has no interinsect  value. sometimes it doesnt need to make sense, it just feels right and you gotta go with it. on the other hand if you are a real technical investor not sure what to say other than i think artemine will be much more successful than minereum once word gets out and it hits a few exchanges. BTW if u got a few eth laying around look into VibeHub! great concept, leading the VR/AR world, going to have a couple big announcements this week plus they are teamingup with monster company. catch it before it starts mooning this week.

All we can really do at this poin is sit back and wait. I agree about VibeHub but I unfortunately don't have any spare ETH laying around, gonna be investing in datum at the end of this month among others

Siacoin, I'm holding that but its hard to watch at the moment, very bad few months, which means its very cheap, for long hold why not.

Waves for me for a long hold, hoping it will take off next year though

I honestly recommend selling parts of your sia holdings each time it goes up a little, it's got a very big chance to be simply overshadowed by massive coins like Sonm or Lisk
1076  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: DIMEcoin on: October 23, 2017, 02:11:41 PM
i don' t understood so much...anyway the price changing on coinmarketcap is false or what?  Sad

no it is not wrong, it is just a calculated and weighted average value of all tradad dimecoins within the last 24 hours on all exchanges in all markets

in theory, yes, but there's really nobody paying 0.000058$ for one dimecoin, so that's a glitch or just a blatant lie. CMC just inst reliable when it comes to superlow volume coins

Not only in theory: please have a look at coinexchange: https://www.coinexchange.io/market/DIME/BTC. Even if it makes no sense, people bought Dimecoin for $3722.57 within the last 24 hours at that high price. To buy a lot cheap, everyone should buy here: https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Exchange?market=DIME_LTC

I have no idea honestly where you see any buy orders at that price, all i see is the absolute bottom where very small orders got filled :/
1077  Economy / Speculation / Re: what you think about bitcoin in like 5 years? on: October 23, 2017, 01:45:23 PM
In five (5) years later from now i think Bitcoin will become the center of currency in investment. It was already become famous to others. It will become much more in demand in upcoming 5 years. It our modern society they dont use now much more actual money they use now digital currency or crypto currency. Well internet now is the new life of people they always depend now om internet. So i think Bitcoin will become bigger and useful in the upcoming years.

I, as well as people a lot smarter than you and me together, agree. Cryptocurrency is the future, whether people like it or not. The good thing is, the people like it. Banks on the other hand are shitting their pants. Bitcoin could reach 50K, and the altcoins will lose over 80% of them while the remaining 20% will grow to extraordinary heights. Eth could reach a few K, LTC could go to ETH's current level, NEO as well, Sonm could go to 20$, ...

How much do you guys think, price will drop from here..
any charting expert?

It really has nowhere else to go other than down from here, unless of course they release a new update like an alpha version of the app/lottery, a new listing, an exchange they're building themselves, ...

First time I heard this exchange. After googling a while, it seems it is a new exchange, which compete with Binance.

Not as good as expected, isn't it?

It just said "1st" not "the only" exchange. Wink

Will be better if they wait some time and get to some others bigger exchange

bigger and better exchanges are coming, no doubt. This was one of the most hyped ICO's I can remember, so naturally a lot of people are gonna be interested
