1061  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Whose advice you take when it comes to Bitcoin? on: December 05, 2018, 09:35:06 PM
Of a truth there are informations that do affects our investments decision and most of those informations do come inform of advice from friends and those we meet online.  I could remember how a friend advice me to by ripple when it was around $2 early this year and now my investment is currently at loses.  Trading and bitcoin investments is game and I think one should develop its skills and knowledge on how to go about it before investing.  Those that lose money are those that invested through someone advice.
1062  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can someone manipulate the price of bitcoin? on: December 05, 2018, 08:46:45 PM
At small time intervals, large holders can influence prices by selling a large number of coins on exchanges or vice versa, starting to buy Bitcoin en masse. But these actions cause only temporary price fluctuations. Somehow the manipulators of the market cannot change the law of the market itself, so if you count on long-term investments, then you should not worry about it. In addition, the really large holders themselves are not profitable by the long-term weakening of the Bitcoin course.
What do you think?
The way bitcoin's price do fluctuate, it is very possible bitcoin can be manipulated.  I strongly believe in those that has the view that we do invest for whales to make profits.  We can even see from what happened this year alone.  How bitcoin keep making a surprise dump.  I think the whales are manipulating the market and that is why we are seeing this huge dump of bitcoin price.  I believe that in future, if bitcoin and blockchain technology can be regulated the way stocks and commodities market is then the manipulations will reduce.
1063  Economy / Economics / Re: Fire in the market: Bitcoin is below $4000 on: December 05, 2018, 08:08:50 PM
It is just normal to see bitcoin below 4000 USD.
Let many people who dont trust the process sell their tokens.
It is a short time to rise again in normal price i am seeing bitcoin to be more than 5K USD before the year ends.
We pray bitcoin should be more than $5000 before end of this year and that should happen very soon as the year is about to come to an end.  Cryptocurrencies market is really in bad condition now and I also have never thought of seeing bitcoin below $5000. The current price is a test on our faith and believe in blockchain technology.  I will keep holding and see what the future hold for me.
1064  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I’m planning to invest some btc in profitcoins. should I do it? on: December 05, 2018, 10:05:25 AM
I came across a news report about profitcoins.io and now I’m wondering if I should invest some btc there or not. What do you guys think?
I am hearing about this profitcoins. io For the first time and I believe that it is always good you should do good personal report before putting in your hard earned money. I have tried many icos and there is no one that really give me good returned. We are still at the early stages of cryptocurrencies development and  you have to test most of the opportunities you see with carefulness and low risks investments.
1065  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don't sell your bitcoin expert warn. on: December 04, 2018, 05:26:57 PM
hi guys today I see this news which some expert says that hold your btc and don't sell.
Here is link check it--- https://cryptonewsreview.com/dont-sell-your-bitcoins-experts-warn/
If we actually did not want to contribute to the loses then we should stop selling.  Whenever you sold your bitcoin below the purchase price you are making loses including contributing to the falling.  I so much believe in the future of bitcoin and others cryptocurrencies especially those one that has makes great impact in the past.
If we keep holding there is no way bitcoin will keep falling.  The big buyers and bank wish we should keep selling so their can control the market.  I think we should not feed the whales but nature bitcoin until it grows to the level we wish it should be.
1066  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: established coins that have dropped or low cap coins on: December 04, 2018, 01:31:02 PM
Going into 2019 for short or medium term gains what is best to go after
Coins that had bull runs in the past or a lot of attention but have dropped greatly in price (eg verg and Dodgecoin) or low cap or new coins and hopefully will grow in the future
Both are good and it is good one should know how most of the coins have performed in the past before investing into them.  I could remember that ethereum at the beginning of last year were not doing too good and after some time people began to invest in it and also icos projects began to sprink up and ethereum start to increase in price until it hits around $1450 across most of the exchange.  I still hold some of the ethereum that I invested higher than the current price but I seriously believe that ethereum will soon recover if not next year it will be a year after.
1067  Economy / Speculation / Re: December 2018: Is this a good time to enter bitcoin if you have cash? on: December 04, 2018, 09:21:36 AM
Though we have different views of the market but i think your analysis make a point!  Bitcoin is really in a  bad condition now compared to were it was as at December last year.  I think the bottom is not here and we may need to get to next year before we see the bottom.  Cryptocurrencies market is really getting to the level which many people did not expect including me.  Investing into cryptocurrencies market now is becoming too risky by the day and I think the bottom is not here yet.
It depends on how much you real price Bitcoin in your mind.
If you think the price of Bitcoin is $1, then it is definitely not a good time now.
Everyone’s pricing for Bitcoin is different, so this question cannot be answered.

Many of us here are speculators and that is why there is always a warning that before you put money into the market do your personal analysis.  My own analysis review that the bottom is around $3000 base on my MA crossing but I have come across many other speculations that have different views.
1068  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should ICOs be regulated on: December 04, 2018, 05:45:20 AM
Considering the high level of scam associated with ICOs presently, many investors are at risk of loosing their investments. Bounty hunters like us are not spared as we may be rendering free services to some scammers and also risking our personal data.

I suppose a regulatory body be set up to audit the ICO process and the  founders, and if anything goes wrong or should the project fail, they will be liable. This will reduce drastically investors risk and also keep scammers away. What do you think?
Ico and projects in cryptocurrencies should be regulated.  I have lose some money investing into some scam projects this year and last year.  I have also stopped investing into icos and even bounty as 70% of them are scam and fake.
Regulations and monitoring is the best way to go if we must succeed in ico and our investments must yield profits.  Moreso, we might need insurance also that can refund investors find in case of hackers and others vice in cryptocurrencies investments.  For those that are enthusiast it is good we push for icos regulations and monitoring in other to bring more investors into the market.
1069  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to drop to 43$ and then die on: December 03, 2018, 06:16:00 PM
Good insights from Joseph Carson, the Chief Security Scientist at Thycotic Software who has analyzed the likely decline for Bitcoin

Quote: "The most likely scenario is that bitcoin will die; my current valuation of bitcoin is approximately US $43 as opposed to the hyped and manipulated valuation. "

For the full overview see here:

https://coingape.com/bitcoin-price-predictions-got-wilder-predicts-bitcoin-will-die/
I will not believe this analysis and I don't think bitcoin is going to died . The current dumping will reverse in 2019 and bitcoin will start to build up towards $20,000. Many people speculated in 2016, that bitcoin is going back to $35 at the end of the year but the reverse was the case as bitcoin went as high as $1000 in December 2016. I believe that next year will be favourable and most of the good news we have now will be translated to bull run.
1070  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: arbitrage program?? on: December 03, 2018, 04:56:55 PM
arbit is buying coins in one exchange and selling on another exchange, nothing can be recommended because here you have to be fast.
it could be when you buy a coin and want to sell it the price is the same or lower.
so in my opinion if you want to play arbit, you already know where to sell and buy to make a profit.
You can still lose in arbitrage trading as I have tried it before.  The outward appearance of arbitrage trading is simple but to make money from it is hard.  I remember bought a tokens from binance and to sell at cryptopia which was higher and find that the reason why the price of that particular tokens was high at cryptopia was because it is undermaintance. You will lose but not like spot or margin trading.
You most have a software or bots that scan the opportunity out for you and trade with carefulness because most of the difference you see in price most time is due to maintenance in one of the exchange and were you should make profits the volume is not there to fill your others.
1071  Economy / Economics / Re: Everything is an investment-change my mind on: December 03, 2018, 01:32:37 PM
There is no human system that is safe and that means everything on earth will one day be a thing of the past.  Financial assets are not safe and investing in them is as risk as life itself.
However,  there are level of risk and some investments are more risky than other.  There are investments that you invest and you can close your eyes and sleep and you can put money in some asssets and you lose your sleep.
1072  Other / Off-topic / Re: What Makes Bitcoin So Special? on: December 02, 2018, 05:56:23 PM
I really agree with you "bitcoin has developed to the extent that it becomes impossible to replace it with any altcoins" I believe that many of us has not read to understand the real reason why bitcoin was discovered and the ways we can get some knowledge on who it works.  This thread is an eye opener on what bitcoin stand on compare to the old system we have (monetary system) . It decentralised,  also has speed in transactions and transparent.
1073  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin go below $3000? on: December 02, 2018, 05:16:43 PM
Today bitcoin back to $4200. As we saw yesterday it was $3700. Is there any chances that bitcoin go below $3000? If yes then what will be the main reason for it?
Bitcoin may not go that low again though speculators are saying that bitcoin is going towards $1500. I think bitcoin is going to grow more than bearish.  I was trying to review some of the chart pattern that has developed this year in relationships with what happened in 2016 and 2014 and one thing that I noticed in common is that there were more positive event at the end of the year and that always transmitted to positive price outlook at the end of the presiding years.  I think next year is going to be a bullish year and those that takes the risk of buying now are going to make money in years to come.
1074  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A Forex Broker allowing cryptocurrency trading on: December 01, 2018, 06:44:46 PM
Hello,

I am new here. Please recommend a Forex broker allowing cryptocurrency trading and also allows the use of high leverage. I want to know the minimum deposit and conditions. Please point me in the right direction.
Many of the forex brokers are now allowed cryptocurrencies trading.  Fxopen allowed you to trade bitcoin and ethereum with usd and you can visit there site here: https://www.fxopen.com there are many other brokers that allows you but I have been trading forex since 2010 with Fxopen and the trading platform is more secure,  educative and understandable to me.  There also have some free expert advisers that you can used to your advantage.
Remember that trading spots market is very risky and you can have your entire capital wipe out in just a trade.  If you have no knowledge of the risk in trading I will advise you to seek expert advice before investing.

1076  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Blood everywhere on: December 01, 2018, 08:19:51 AM
The tsunami isn t just in crypto!

This hedge fund manager lost all of his clients money!

https://www.reddit.com/r/videos/comments/9ys7e3/this_hedge_fund_manager_just_lost_all_of_his

Pls let's watch it and share our thoughts below on the markets!
2018, remain the most bloody years in recent time.  I think the stocks market is the most hit.  People are losing seriously for some months now in both stocks and commodities market and not Cryptocoins market alone.  I believe that now should be the best time for one to buy and in years to come makes good profits from the market.  If you can not buying now that cryptocurrencies is cheap and stocks market are getting dumped you maybe kick out in the equation of things in future.
Hedge funds managers who simply use investors money to live the grand expensive lifestyle. I'd rather manage my investments myself and know the amount of risk I should expose my money to. These guys just take insane risks all the time and investors end being on the receiving end
We still have some reliable hedge funds manager and that is why some are still in business.  However many of them become rich by using the fund of investors to buy property for themselves.
1077  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The market is back green, are these signs of a bull run? on: November 30, 2018, 06:32:14 PM
forget about bitcoin which fell to the value of $ 4,570.01 some time ago and etherum fell to a value of $ 136.14. see the current market, how the market is again marked green, although the increase is not significant. Will a bull run happen soon? not necessarily. but at least this is a sign for us to always believe in crypto that prices will not always be red, there must be a chance for green again.
I think the bull run will not happen soon, it is accumulation phase for institutions who want to join the Crypto market. This situation is just releif rally and we are still in down trend. However, the longer the better for the market.
The market was in green yesterday but today there are in red.  Bitcoin has lose over $300 today alone.  I think bitcoin and others populars altcoins are not ready for bullish run now.  The investors are selling bitcoin for fiat and traders are just pumping and dumping the market at wish.  For me this year is not too favourable for the holders and as a holder I am in loses currently.  I think in the next two to five years to come cryptocurrencies should be in green again and the market capitalization should be above $1 trillion.
1078  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Open your eyes! on: November 30, 2018, 05:47:28 PM
Don't you feel like once the bitcoin price goes up, the main holders will be the banks and large financial institutions?
That is what is going to happen as many enthusiasts keep dumping there holding in centralized and decentralised exchanges.  Bitcoin has started falling in large quantity into the hands of banks and financial institutions as there are getting it cheap now. Cryptocurrencies market is down and this happened because of unusual selling off by some big holders and financial institutions like it because this enabled them to full they wallets with large amount of bitcoin.
The bank is going to have full control of this market in future and that should be a great concern to all of us.
1079  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH double digits on: November 30, 2018, 05:01:49 PM
What do you think will ETH fall to double digits? And if it falls would you buy some?
For now everything is still possible and reversal can still happen.  Three days ago ethereum tried to go back to double digits but that did not happen and we see a recovering to $125 and now is coming lower again.
The general market conditions is bad and I think we should expect good conditions next year.  Trading of cryptocurrencies market is not favourable now and many holders has sold out of panic and that has affected the market seriously.  By this time next year I hope we would be tell another story and not what happened in 2018.
Ethereum will survive and not descend to double digits, and if it does, it will have the strongest development team that will make it flourish.
Ethereum will survive but we cannot really tell if it will decend double digits or not.  Descending to double digits does not stop it to becoming strong in future after all it happens to bitcoin before.
1080  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don't Be Fooled By The Price Dump! Here's the Real Deal on: November 30, 2018, 11:52:29 AM
For those who are discouraged, remember history keeps repeating itself
Take yourself through the bitcoin memory lane
- Bitcoin went from being worthless ($0) to $4000+ in less than 10 years
- Bitcoin has a trading volume of $4-$5 billion per day
- It handles 200k-300k transactions per day
- It facilitates the transfer of $1 billion worth of transactions per day globally
- It is being accepted by thousands of merchants around the globe
- It introduced one of the biggest technologies that is being used by banks, governments, and a lot of financial institutions

It has changed the way we carry out transactions and believe me you it has come to stay!
Don't be fooled by the naysayers and those who are adverse to change which we all know is the only permanent thing

NB: Always remember this, you have not made a loss until you sell
After a price dump comes a price pump
Never allow your emotions to do the thinking for you
Always go with your gut feeling
Thank you for remind us of our reality and that is what many of us that were not in cryptocurrencies before are not taking into account.  In 2008 bitcoin was nothing but now 1 btc is above $4000 and there was a time that it was selling above $19000 . Bitcoin has done too well and we must agree with this fact in other for us to develop enthusiasm about blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies market in particular.
Personally, I don't care about Bitcoin price as I don't care wether it is going to rise or to fall. All I care about is how this technology is going to handle the technical issues it is facing.
I care about the price because if bitcoin worth noting there is no need for us to spend time looking on how to handle the problem is facing.  Technical problems are going to be resolved as some of the problems have been resolved.  This time last year we were saying that can the the problem of high transactions charges be resolved but now that is the thing of the past.
