10621  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Show a newbie the way on: January 29, 2022, 09:06:03 PM
Now that bear market is slowly taking over the market what can a newbie do to make money in a bear market? Staking is a bad idea in bear market I heard, even mining coins are not profitable in bear market too so what's the way forward?

It is delicate, because if the novice is willing to learn to be a trader, he has to know the way of Short and leverage so that he can win, as long as he is not delusional about what he can win, but rather tell or emphasize what he can lose, this is if he is of a trader style, now if the novice has a style more towards investment he has to go there, talk and say that it is an ideal time to buy and that he has to be very calm and very measured if the market goes down even more and sees his investment value in fiat in half, he has to learn to control emotions and sales impulse, the best thing is to read books by Warren Buffet, from Livermore, to learn multiple strategies applied by the biggest in the industry. story, this with the idea that you don't lose money.

10622  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: we can still rely on the bounty.. on: January 29, 2022, 08:30:20 PM
When coinmarketcap introduced airdrops I was excited thinking that finally a platform that we can rely on so i joined many airdrops from CMC but not a single one paid me later I found out they winners are randomly selected, heart broke it is.

I completely understand you, now, you have to understand one thing, the Airdrops were the best for the year 2017, it really was what was fashionable and everything was heading in that direction, for the year 2020-2021 everything moved in the direction of the NFT games, now what you should look for is the trend that will go this year 2022, maybe it is because of the metaverses, the metaverse games combined with the NFTs, I think that everything can come from there, however I think that any fashion or direction crypto that tilts the BTC and cryptocurrencies market will require a previous investment to be able to win, it is very difficult for you to win a lot in an Airdrop and I am sure that if you win in an airdrop what you will receive will be a fraction of a dollar or with lucky maybe 5 or 10 dollars.
10623  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your reason for buying altcoins? on: January 29, 2022, 06:00:03 PM
I think altcoin have potential with much profit than bitcoin trough not have enough money for investing, some altcoin can pump almost 40% in daily day or long term investment and can't reach almost higher percent with bitcoin and this why I keep holding and investing with altcoin only. Never take investing again with bitcoin after price pump and always altcoin as my favorite coin for trading or investing with long or short term. I think have many potential and earn profit more than 300% by investing with altcoin than try to invest with bitcoin because under $2,000 looks very little profit earn in bitcoin investment.

What happens is that many people think that altcoins can give them better returns than BTC itself because it can suddenly rise 30 or 40%, but they forget that if BTC falls, altcoins bleed impressively, and this has to be taken into account so that everything that has to do with investment is thought about, in fact before buying altcoins, it is always good to review the panorama with BTC, because if a good bullish movement is coming and if the person manages to predict it, The best time to buy any altcoin is that, because if BTC is doing well, obviously altcoins are also doing well because they are a direct consequence of BTC, that is, all altcoins depend directly on BTC.
10624  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins worth investing at dip on: January 29, 2022, 04:58:58 PM
Solona, Polygon Matic, Terra Luna are very good altcoins to buy in this downturn, I see the usefulness of these assets is why they always recover faster than others
These are the altcoins that have became popular last year and it's because of their gains and the projects that have been working with them. The potential of these projects were seen by many but I think there's still some projects that should look upon since most of them have the same platforms.
ETH for me is still the top for the altcoins to invest if you want to see one of the best in the alts market.

You are right, eventually ETH has been the best altcoin, it is considered the second best after BTC, since BTC is the King, however when we take into account that Solana reached values above 220USD compared to the current price it is to see it as a bargain, of course, any purchase at this time implies that there is a great risk in making the investment but that it is still an option that if purchased for less than 100usd can provide a return of up to x2, and this is considerable In addition, if the metaverses go through the Solana network, which is the safest thing, Matic will have a great growth through its Polygon network, of all the Metaverse currencies, I see that everything can be developed here.
10625  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: There is fear in the market, isn't it time to buy? on: January 29, 2022, 03:36:03 PM
Its not the time to buy yet because market will still crash soon, there will be little recoveries here and there but don't expect bull market again, corrections is what we will witness in 2022, I know many won't accept this point of mine but that's what will happen.

His perception of the market is interesting, however I have seen how the market is reacting and it seems to give a light of bullish hope, however I think it is somewhat doubtful to decide what its direction will be, I am doing my own analysis using the Wyckoff method in the long term it gives me that the market continues to be of a Bullish nature, in the medium term, that is to say weeks and days, my doubts begin as to how long this eventual correction will be, in the short term I have no idea because the volatility is at a very accelerated, really what I think is that it can go up but I'm not 100% sure.
10626  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where are all the bitcoin's Moon boys ? on: January 29, 2022, 03:54:09 AM
Every time the market is green, we see a lot of youtube and social media influencers come out to guide people and to predict the targets for bitcoin and altcoins. But as the market dumps, we see no sign of these moon boys. Why don't they come to advise us in the these times.
Maybe they are unable to face the public because they have given too much unrealistic hopim to the people ?

This is common in all influencers, youtubers or those who are involved in the world of social networks, in fact there are many people who always make trading operations taking into account what they see and hear, but none dares to generate news before that a movement occurs, whenever the movements occur they release the news, and many times that is not the main reason for it, I take these effects as a possible style of manipulation, that is why if I trade, I do the analysis without watching the news and without contaminating my thoughts with what others think, after I make the decision I place my order and then if I see the news, if I see that there is a fundamental piece of news that will obviously affect it, then I can react to the market, which if it gives me time to react because I always trade long term.
10627  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If not invested then do it now... on: January 29, 2022, 02:31:34 AM
investments whenever we want, for example, at this time is the right time to invest long-term in the crypto world, considering the prices are still relatively cheap, of course, this can also be slightly profitable compared to the process of buying bitcoins at higher prices, but at this time of course it takes extra patience with bitcoin prices which are still not stable but we can keep the assets for a longer time, but if we want to leave the crypto world we can release them on the stock market which makes bitcoin very easy for an investment for beginners and miners who have been in the crypto world for a long time

I think that long-term investment is a decision for each person, first because it is their money, second because it is possible that when you buy the price it will drop and when you convert it to fiat the losses can be very large, if we take into account the danger of risk management, at all times it will be dangerous to do it, however I recommend that the money that is destined to the investment of BTC should be taken only for that, the person should forget about that money, write it off or imagine that it was spent, because if it is used unfortunately it is likely that you will never see your profit for not waiting.

In the books of Warren Buffet he always recommends that you look for the safest stock and wait 8 to 10 years from the investment, in this case with BTC it is not 8 or 10 years, you can easily wait 3 to 4 years and I am sure that profitability will be seen.
10628  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Man lost everything to Crypto on: January 29, 2022, 12:49:10 AM
we have very often seen the reality that is happening at this time where a lot of miners have lost everything because they are in the crypto world even though the last few years bitcoin investment is very promising where a lot of people become millionaires because they invest in bitcoin in the long term so that it is different from today, we have absolutely no idea why it could cause them to lose everything, is the crypto world less promising, we hope that this is only temporary and the digital currency will soar again as it has in the last few years

Well, it is that many who dedicated themselves to mining and gave up, it is obvious that they lost everything, I don't know if you remember an article by cointelegraph that indicated that the AntMiner9 mining machines were going to be obsolete, that they were thinking of throwing them away because they already it was not profitable for the miners, about 15 days later the price of BTC rose and those mining machines were reborn like the phoenix, so mining for me will never be something unprofitable, the price can go down, and even some machines always have to be maintained, but the cost per profit I think is still positive in terms of profit.
10629  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fear is not Real. on: January 28, 2022, 10:39:52 PM
I personally think that fear is very real, most people are afraid to sell, afraid to go up again, if they don't sell they are afraid the price will go down again, some are afraid to buy because they are afraid of losing, but only strong people are never afraid, whatever happens will be faced, Profit and loss is normal for those who are mentally strong, because in the name of business there must be ups and downs.
I don't think that people are afraid to go up again. In fact, everyone wants to see the market again on high and that's why I don't think that many are like that just as you're saying.

Strong people are those that has firm plans and are aware of the possibilities of what can happen. They're not afraid because they have plans and enough experiences.

When a person invests in BTC and then checks his wallet and sees the value in fiat, it may cause him some fear, more so if he is a person who is starting in the world of BTC or cryptocurrencies, but what that person should have in mind is, if your investment is only in BTC there is no problem, because it is known that if the money is not needed it can be left there starting to get fat, because at any moment the BTC can reach its last ATH it can even exceed the price and reach further still, generating high-level profits, but for this you must have a purely investment culture.
10630  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: IMF urges El Salvador to remove Bitcoin as legal tender on: January 28, 2022, 10:13:43 PM
It is hard to know if El Salvador will continue to adopt Bitcoin as legal tender after the bearish price and some pressure from the IMF but I believe the pressure of the IMF can't influence the stance of El Salvador about Bitcoin legalization. However, the only thing I believe that would change the El Salvador stance is the bearish market but it also depends on their understanding of the Bitcoin market trend.
Some people are saying if bitcoin go bearish that Michael Saylor and El Salvadorian president can change their mind, but what people do not know is that both of them would have known about bitcoinn very well before starting anything about bitcoin at all. What they are looking into is the long term, they believe bitcoinn price will increase in the long term. About IMF, I do not think El Salvador is concerned, they support bitcoin as a legal tender but is not imposed on their citizens, El Salvadorians can accept payment in US dollar.

In several threads I have been observing that they speculate about the situation in El Salvador as the worst of all, but they forget that he is the first president who had everything that is required to go against many to implement BTC as currency. legal, they are also not taking into account that that president had to have taken measures in the face of a bearish market, we do not know if Bukele has an amount of BTC in leveraged short and if all this time the bearish market was profitable, we do not know... .
10631  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Investment against inflation on: January 28, 2022, 09:44:50 PM
Investing in bitcoin is good choice when it bullran, but when it bearish moment, we have to avoid the market until it is reversal

In fact, investing when the price is low is the best thing to do, because it is interpreted as buying cheap, it is always good to buy cheap to sell high, and when it comes to BTC vs Inflation, I think it is much more profitable to have BTC in the Today than the same GOLD, since gold can represent a good investment as long as it is owned a lot, and is accepted worldwide, but the price of BTC in a possible situation in the face of high inflation, even so if the BTC is low, it is superior to the inflationary economy. If not, you can ask a Venezuelan, an Argentine who has 1 BTC to see if his investment has fallen since he bought.
10632  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First Bitcoin City on: January 28, 2022, 09:20:12 PM
Does el-salvador country buy bitcoin for resale like investors, i'm sure the president of el-salvador has thought of the ups and downs before they legalized bitcoin in their country so i'm pretty sure they don't panic when bitcoin price drops.

What we don't know is if Bukele actually has a fraction of BTC in leveraged shorts and is winning right now, we don't know if his crypto advisors are professionals and are making a lot of money right now while we all speculate that he is losing, I am sure that with how intelligent that president has been, he has an action plan in the face of a possible bearish market and how to act against it to get the most out of it.
10633  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin payments decline as other cryptocurrencies grow on: January 28, 2022, 07:35:02 PM
You cannot generalize it based on Bitpay data only. The decrease of Bitcoin payment usage in Bitpay probably won't happen on the other payment services. I think it makes sense if Bitpay experienced a decline since there are already many sites with the same functions as Bitpay nowadays. So, people use other platforms that offer simple requirements, fast processes, or lower fees. Sure, the decline won't affect bitcoin adoption in general. The problem only happens in Bitpay, not to all providers of bitcoin payment services.

I agree with that statement, because not all payments are through Bitpay, there are many payments that are made for goods and services that we do not even realize what has been purchased and what has not, if we start to analyze it is dif' ciil to keep track of where a BTC or many BTC is going or what its destination is, or what purpose it has, the enemies of BTC say and affirm that a lot of the BTC goes to criminals, but I think that criminals like it better fiat money than the same BTC or cryptocurrencies, because they like to see the value without lowering the price, so they are very subjective things.
10634  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin ever get regulated on: January 28, 2022, 06:56:17 PM
Bitcoin is a decentralized currency so definitely, it will never be regulated by the government and cannot be controlled or manipulated by any group or entity. But i believe all its crypto related activities and its centralized platforms and exchanges can be totally regulated by the government knowing they will take full control on it. So once crypto will be considered legal by the government, all its bitcoin transactions and other crypto related things will  now be traced by government's banks and all its legal financial institutions.

I think that the only way it can be regulated is when a town allows it and even so, if you want to be irreverent you can be, because a government cannot manage 100% control of a town that trades with BTC, there are many ways to bypass prohibitions, there are many VPNs and there are many computer tools that still allow privacy and anonymity in some operations, the most reckless go directly into the deep web where there are exchanges that make their transactions totally almost imperceptible, and although it is very delicate , some choose to do so, yet there are many ways to evade a government that wants to regulate BTC.
10635  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My take on the market on: January 28, 2022, 05:36:44 PM
Yes and also saw it hit $38k. You don't think it's fast but I think that it was, the price have moved fast but as usual, there will be some pauses that has to happen.
Like what happened after it has hit $38k, I thought that it will going to continue moving up to $39k but there's a delay somehow. But just as the usual thing for bitcoin, we don't know what's next for it and maybe a rapid move from $37k to $39k and $40k.
We might say things like this are becoming commonplace in the bitcoin market, but it's always possible to see them differently than before. It is important to see bitcoin recover after the market corrected since last year.

I have seen the price start to rise after experiencing a correction in the last few days. Now the bitcoin price has reached $38K, but it is still quite vulnerable to a decline. We can still expect the bitcoin price to rise above $40K by the end of January, but of course that's not guaranteed. Anyone who wants to buy must weigh the risks, also have to make their own analysis.

The truth is that for me the movements of the market are not very clear, because these are the moments where at least I am out of the market because I do not have a clear idea of what movement can occur, if the price goes up or down, the truth is, do so analysis and come to a conclusion I do not feel very sure, at least from what I have seen is that the price of BTC has already bottomed out at the $30k levels, and it is a good floor for it to push forward, my perception long-term market remains bullish.
10636  Other / Archival / Re: Bitcoin makes a loser a winner on: January 28, 2022, 05:17:51 PM
all no one knows about bitcoin until now, looking at flashbacks 10 years ago bitcoin was nothing, but now bitcoin has value even though it is experiencing such terrible turmoil, it can't be said that the loser is actually only sincerity in holding bitcoin as the winner

In my case, I was still young and I don't have any resources to investigate the internet at my home at that time so it's not really my fault that's what I'm telling myself to avoid those frustrating feelings that have been hunting me for years, all because I didn't take the chance to search well. Unlike others who took it as a joke when they had the chance to acquired it from faucets for free or bought it for lowest price but they denied it and laugh it out loud until they became the clown today.
But there is no need to investigate back then , we have just need to trust using a small amount , because 10 years ago the price of bitcoin is just like our daily allowance for school so if we really wanted to profit we will just need to keep a day per week and hold for 10 years.
I remember the teenager that did a path with His parents when he invested in Bitcoin, after several years he becomes a Millionaire lol.
Yeah, your point is definitely right. Some years ago, we didn't think that Bitcoin would be such valuable. Price of Bitcoin is a big amount but what if we think about future? May be some years later it can be gain 10x from current value.

In the future I think that only having 1mBTC and the person could live their whole normal life and with luxuries, because I think that the price of BTC will be very high, in fact I like to watch a lot of videos that have to do with time travel already ´ Despite the fact that everything can have some fiction, some say that the currency of the future and the only one that is handled is the BTC, obviously this is at the discretion of each one to believe or not, but I think that how the behavior of BTC goes every time it will be higher.
10637  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador has become the first country to make #Bitcoin legal tender! 🇸🇻 on: January 28, 2022, 03:51:23 PM
What I like the most about all this is that many countries are reacting and are looking for a way to introduce BTC through regulations through congress treaties, amendments, in the case of Peru it is like this, Colombia has also been studying this possibility for a long time quite some time and it is obvious that Venezuela the government is mining BTC with a high power, Argentina is another of the countries that have to enter with BTC, what I see closest to entering are those countries with inflation problems, in that case BTC is its ideal lifeline even if the price goes down, there will always be liquidity for any government in that situation.
10638  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How I Missed Out of a 10 Year Bitcoin Investment Plan on: January 28, 2022, 03:27:17 PM
You've heard of people who had early opportunity with the Bitcoin but missed it? Well, I'm probably one of them.

Many people have missed their first chance to enter in the crypto market because they do not calculate the potential of this market. That is perfectly ok as no one had thought few years back, that bitcoin can grow so big in the coming years. But now we know the potential of bitcoin so we should now take entry in the bitcoin so that in 2030, we are not among those who would be saying that they missed the bitcoin under 50K which is now trading at 10 or 20x higher prices.
I think the same scenario will probably happen ten years from now. People will still regret that they have missed chances to invest in bitcoin and now they are not making huge profits from it. But IMO, people will not learn from all their wrong decisions unless they see bitcoin in a very high ATH.  So it will be an eye opener for all to never disregard bitcoin as its value will always bound for a higher ATH in every year that comes.

The only problem is that the price of bitcoin is not the same as it was 10 years ago, when it was extremely cheap and anyone could afford it; now it is extremely difficult to purchase one if you do not have enough money; however, it is highly likely that this scenario will repeat itself, so it is best to invest sooner rather than later. Some people will learn from their mistakes, but others will not. If we make a mistake, we should assess it and figure out how to avoid making the same mistake again. This is the key to gaining valuable experience and achieving our goals.

Well even though the value of BTC is not the same as it was 10 years ago, people who have had BTC can have it again, because they know how they can get it and so they can start from scratch, in Jesse Livermore's books, he became millionaire and then he was bankrupt, but on two occasions he managed to become a millionaire again, it is that money is made thinking, if for some mistake everything is lost in one move, you have to work very hard to get there again, that is law, I think that every human being has that capacity.
10639  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Still haven't sold a bit of BTC since 2013... if I can do it you can do it too! on: January 28, 2022, 02:43:56 AM
Good job OP. I wouldn't be able to hold for that long without at least taking some profit.

I'm a holder since 2015, but I feel that celebrating each ATH with some spending is the way to feel even better about it. Each time BTC reaches a significant level for the first time like $10k, $20k, $30k, I turn some of my holdings into a physical object and this makes me feel good even when the price falls. That said, I  know that I will never be completely out. If we go to 100k net year I'll just sell another 10% of my portfolio and keep holding the rest. I'd like my daughter to get BTC when she's old enough to understand it.

I admire his way of thinking, in fact it reminds me of Jesse Livermore's books, that he always said that profits must be seen physically, they must be felt, because profits must be enjoyed, what he did was travel on ships and clear his head of everything that was a complicated market at that time, and I am very happy that your daughter has such an excellent inheritance, one day I will have BTC and I will leave it to my children too, I believe that in the future 1btc will be a life guarantee for an entire complete family.
10640  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is really controlling the Bitcoin market. on: January 28, 2022, 01:51:26 AM
there is each question stranger than the other every day in this section. why talk about bitcoin market manipulation when we already have a big money market? OP I had already posted here but forgot to add that there was a billionaire who makes cars who managed to manipulate the market, but he managed to manipulate the market without him having spent a lot and a lot of money, he just talked about his company accepting bitcoin as a method of payments that later people rushed to buy bitcoin
a billionaire who has many followers, of course, when he says something, others will follow him. without the need to spend a lot of money can already manipulate the bitcoin market, it is only enough to make 1 tweet about bitcoin then bitcoin will go up in price.
but no one really completely controls the bitcoin market.

You are right, a multimillionaire can only manipulate a certain part of the market, because to move the market billions of dollars are needed to make an important movement, however when it comes to manipulation there is a conglomerate of things that many ignore, such as news, statements by influencers, celebrities, where they make those who are not billionaires move the market to whatever he or the strong hands want, at least I know that this is a type of manipulation, because just manipulating one person is too much money and although if there are people like that, it is somewhat difficult.
