10682  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Burger King Accepts Bitcoin on: February 19, 2016, 06:21:07 PM
Quote
The Burger King Arnhem branch also announced that anyone that pays in bitcoin will receive a second burger (Whopper) for free

Good stuff Grin Hopefully Dominos pizza , McDonald , PizzaHut and others will follow them .
Got a question though (I can't know for sure since we don't have those fast foods here) , Payment methods accepted depends on the owner of that Burger king ? or the payment methods are decided by the mother company ? because if it's the case then why only Netherlands and not worldwide
10683  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Blockadz legit/trusted ? on: February 19, 2016, 06:17:48 PM

10684  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: How many Connections in and Connections out when running node on: February 19, 2016, 03:59:12 PM
I am currently running a node and noticed that i have 28 connections inbound and 8 outbound.  The question is regarding the 8 outbound should that be higher or is that some sort of set limit?  it never goes above 8 outbound connections.

Yes there is some sort of limits on it as far as I know , and you can see here for more info about it : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=74275.0
10685  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin debit card on: February 19, 2016, 12:11:29 PM
I'm getting Unexpected status code: BadRequest, content: {"result":{"fee":20091,"available":2546491},"message":"Insufficient funds"} when I try to load my Virtual card and click "Maximum amount" ?

we freeze the exchange rate for you for 15 mins, but the blockchain fee may fluctuate between the moment you click "max amount" and actually make the transaction - that may lead to such error.
Try reducing the max amount a little bit to account for possible minor fluctuations of the blockchain fee, then it will work

It did the trick and it's working fine now , thanks for your help !
Btw , is it possible to get a re-name on my Virtual card ? because It has a fake name made by you as far as I know , and not my real name . (Note that E-coin isn't available in my country { Algeria } ) .
10686  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Miners and revenue on: February 19, 2016, 10:56:50 AM
So in July the reward (revenue) for mining a block halves from 25 to 12.5, and i wonder how this will impact the economics of miners and what they might be doing to up the price of bitcoin between now and then to  reduce the negative impact it will have on their viability?

Most logical thing to happen is that price is going to increase , Miners won't be selling at the same price because they will have less supply then before .
they won't be doing anything btw , It's how the market works . Demand-Supply , if there is same demand or more demand with less supply then before , price will logically rise .
Even if it doesn't work like that , I doubt that they will be selling it with the same price .
10687  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Dualbitcoin - SCAM on: February 19, 2016, 10:53:09 AM
1. He have a self-moderated topic , so he can remove any posts he don't like and it's always seems phishy when someone do that .
2. Almost every topic on the " Investor-based games" is a scam but as you can see on the top of that page , moderators are not responsible for anything and they don't close topic because it's a scam .
10688  Economy / Services / Re: Free Bitcoin Virtual Debit Card for answering Survey on: February 19, 2016, 10:50:24 AM
I have couple of questions before doing anything : Your debit card is it Visa card or MasterCard ? Are we going to get spammed once we use our email addresses on that website ? or we will only receive the debit card ? and how much user will receive the debit card , I'm pretty sure it's anything "unlimited" .
10689  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTB] Cheap VPS on: February 19, 2016, 10:39:55 AM
You should check vultr , they have a lot of coupons around the internet as-well (but some of them don't work if you use Bitcoin as payment method) , and they also charge for hours and not for months .
Check them out , I personally used them , and no regrets Smiley and when I didn't pay , they gave me time to do that .
10690  Economy / Digital goods / [WTB] Heroes & Generals account on: February 19, 2016, 08:13:41 AM

10694  Other / Off-topic / Re: Other Bitcoin/Crypto currency related forums? on: February 18, 2016, 07:29:05 PM

What are some other crypto currency related forums other then bitcointalk that you visit?

I will be speaking about myself when I say that I don't visit any other forums related to Bitcoin or cryptoo currency , Bitcointalk was created by Satoshi himself , he got a lot of users and it contains a lot of information's that you won't find anywhere else . So it's not that easy to be a competitor to Bitcointalk if you ask me .

10696  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin Revolution In Zimbabwe Attracts Attention of Stanford University on: February 18, 2016, 06:52:20 PM
The protracted economic meltdown in Zimbabwe has given rise to the adoption of multiple currencies within the nation. The revolution coming about as a result of the cryptocurrency startup, BitFinance, has become a subject of interest to one of the world's most respected institutions of research, Stanford University.

BitFinance is not only revolutionizing the fragile Zimbabwean economy, but could also have an impact on the Bitcoin revolution in Africa as a whole.

10697  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info help on: February 18, 2016, 04:07:41 PM
Having a lot of bitcoins in an online wallet isn't the best idea , you know .
Other then that , without the password , the private keys or the seed that Blockchain.info should give you when you make the account , you won't be able to recover your account and they won't be able to do that for you either because they don't own your password in their database or anything like that .
Next time , use Paper wallets or Hardware wallets to store your bitcoins or at least Desktop wallet like Electrum which could help you recover your wallet using a seed .
10698  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: make money by the price difference between exchange center on: February 17, 2016, 06:58:24 PM
It's nothing much as far as I know , most of the time it's like couple of bucks maximum so what are you exactly going to earn by that ? and don't the exchange have some fees ? so I don't really see how are you going to make any profit using this method .
10699  Other / Meta / Re: SMF was unable to connect to database ? on: February 17, 2016, 03:23:41 PM
Yep , something is wrong , that's for sure :

Hopefully everything will go back to normal once maintenance is finished and hopefully theymos will explain to us what's going on Smiley
10700  Other / Meta / Re: Hacking services - Allowed ? on: February 17, 2016, 12:19:13 PM
I'd say that it greatly depend on which site you're being asked to hack. If this is the owner that want to test his site, then I don't see any problem. Cracking, no problem I think. Reverse engineering, I don't excatly know what it is, so I couldn't help you on that.

No that's not what I meant , I meant someone else website and not yours so you could test your security .
Cracking (I mean cracking accounts [Games accounts , forums accounts , facebook/google/twitter .. whatever you have in mind) , Reverse Engineering is basically cracking applications that have Licence , Serial codes etc ...
