"That whale" is Sasha, the 5k he took out of bitcoin funds is being used for buy support. Is the reason why Polo never really list waves? and that Sasha never really have the intention to list there? I guess this is just something that we didn't look into before investing. Minable coin still is where we should get into then. |

For those of you that invested in this project. If the only exchange that is ready to take this coin is bittrex you may want to consider waiting until it is ready for Polo. I know people hate waiting and they want to trade fast, but you do not want what happened to waves to happen to RISE. Yeah, I know Rise is a better coin bla, bla, bla, I don't really care. Seriously, if you do not want a repeat of what happened to waves, you should think this out. The day of the launch... Bittrex only! .... then this thread gets filled with POLO, POLO, POLO, bla, bla, bla...

The good thing is, is this coin does not seem as overvalued as Waves. They just had way to many investors. so the price is still good here.

It will be. Just compare the transparency between the two projects. Rise has tons of technical info, a clear roadmap and a price that's not overinflated with fake investment. Plus they're doing things more different and constantly communicating announcements. The team members have technical backgrounds on LinkedIn. Waves founder Sasha has zero info or history. That may not even be his real name.
Sasha is well known in NXT community for several years and is some kind of public person - he's seen on various conferences, so about him you're wrong. He's OK. But waves price on ico was waaaay overinflated, that's true. Yes he's been in the business for so long and that is why he pumps NXTt earlier and probably he finance ARdor using the waves funds. Anyway, I hope RISE is different from the way how WAVES team do. |

WAVES team should actually give nodes to YOBIT, i guess its better to have it there after all we've gone down to worse. There seem to have a lot of users that are hardcore enough in this thread so if you are indeed hardcore trader. trade in yobit! They do have trollbox better than waves slack channel. yobit was relly good to me, regarding waves trades. if it wasn't for having part of my ico waves sold there with a nice profit, i am really not sure if i'd still be here, supporting this project... imo, it was a gross error to scare people away from yobit you may have had good experience with yobit regarding waves, but their behavior in the world of crypto has lots to be desired. they disable coins at a whim....trapping traders money.... they don't respond to trouble tickets they probably manipulate markets....stealing traders money ie coin like yovit and wealth.... their signature campaign promotes spam in the forum... I could probably go on they really should not get node...at least not so soon maybe all you have said makes sense. but it is not the expected role of the waves developer to arrogate himself this level of controll over the market... in a free market the parts follow whatever partner they believe is the most beneficial... waves developers should take care of their projects success, instead of trying to control the market by means of scare and of granting trade monopolies as they have done... maybe if they did not uber controlled detailed things that way, at least one less problem they would have faced in all this mess we are witnessing. having just bittrex seem like we don't have freedom at all. Anyone having trouble withdrawing waves from the Chrome wallet to Bittrex? I've done the 1W thing and tried upping the quantity to send and that didn't work. I was able to send coins from Bittrex to My wallet and I can see the funds in the wallet, I just can't send anything out of the Chrome wallet.
Do you mean WAVESplatform are holding users from sending their token? Thats a smart thing to do lol so from now on those tokens that are currently on bittrex are the only that can circulate horray! that may mean limited supply |

Polo is mentioned, yes as before. It doesnt state Polo will add it. I think the fiat integration might be holding Polo back. This may not, might be the team which could be informed better. If so, appreciated when elaborated. Polo has nothing to do with fiat its just waves token that they will list. help us understand how hard can that be? if bittrex ask 3btc to ensure a coin's listing, maybe polo is asking more. are they? |

Can someone explain to me why I have a meager 25 waves on my day-1 ICO investment of 0.099 BTC? So far as I can tell, the ICO recieved about 30,000 BTC for the 85 million available waves.. 85,000,000 / 30,000 would be (not factoring for bonuses) 2833.33 waves per BTC, and I sent ~0.1 BTC, which should be ~283 Waves (again, not factoring for my 20% bonuses / bonus impact on total wave distribution). So why did I only get 25 waves in my ICO account?? Just doesn't add up.. The market cap of Waves is greater than the ICO Investments, but my total waves are worth less than 10% of the BTC I contributed...? I was just wondering about this Halving and what people will do, if the price hits the $1000+ price again? Most people seem to think that the previous record, were just a fluke and were artificially inflated by the Willy Bot. Let's say no bot is involved this time, and we see those kind of figures again, would you hold or would you dump?
When we talk about Bitcoin going to the Moon, $1000 is definitely not it. At what price would you start to think about selling?
When it hit 700 again there will be a lot of users that will dump still. so it may never reach $800 nor $1K. IT will cycle regardless of the halving that may happen this July. I would assume the price will stick t0 $600 for now. Halving day is the day we get to decide whether to dump them all or not. |

The release date was actually June 10 but was moved to June 24 as far as I can remember so tomorrow is the release date.
