10721  Other / Off-topic / Who is still using ThePirateBay after their return? on: May 29, 2015, 10:32:56 AM
I was a hardcore TPB user for many many years, but I find kickass to be a better option. Especially now, TPB is nothing more than a tracker that isn't being moderated properly.
10722  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-05-28] Is The Price Of Bitcoin Going To Bounce Back? on: May 29, 2015, 10:26:36 AM
tl;dr

Yes.
10723  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-05-28] BTC-e Blames New US Policy for Wire Transfer Issues on: May 29, 2015, 10:23:24 AM
BTC-e is one of the very few Bitcoin exchanges, which respect the privacy of its users, and do not collaborate with the American (and other governmental) agencies. So obviously they are going to face a few problems. Already the site is banned in Russia, and the users there are being forced to access the exchange via VPN.

It's one of the exchanges I respect the most. It's only a bummer for people who withdrew because they were in need of money to pay bills and such.
10724  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Fun game to earn Bitcoin. on: May 29, 2015, 10:12:21 AM
I once tried a game on android that let you earn satoshi's for free, just for fun. Because a lot people were giving it 5 star ratings.

I think it was something with smashing aliens. 1 post from my sig campaign earns me 0.0007BTC, there you need to play hours to just get 0.0002BTC  Grin It's pure trash.

Probably you set some time delay by mistake. Hence it took time. Next time do download the letter of guarantee.

This.

OP; Next time better first ask Bitmixer about it instead of creating a scam accusation. Post in their official thread or simply PM him and have patience.

You have no idea what you are talking about.
10726  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do not expect any major rally soon on: May 28, 2015, 06:15:36 PM
The only rally I expect, is a few months before block halving in 2016. I can't see much happen this year, at least current price seems strong enough to not go below $200.

The price is flatlining for the moment but I suppose the whales will get bored eventually and start either pumping or dumping. I don't know if it will go up or down but I cannot imagine it staying flat for much longer, it's too boring.

We already had a few, and there will be more mini pumps and dumps comming our way, but I don't expect them to be more than $20-$30 up or down without major news.

I just spotted a mistake in OP; Registrar is Namecheap, and NOT godaddy.
10728  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is just to complicated for the average person to use.. on: May 28, 2015, 05:39:13 PM
It's nothing complicated with bitcoin. I heard a few person saying that is complicate to use, but I can't understand why. I think everybody can use Bitcoint since everybody knows how use a smartphone or a computer.

Not everyone is tech savvy. If you see people not understanding Bitcoin, or how it works, then explain it to them. Something that is easy for you, might be hard to figure out for others. We're here to help our fellow Bitcoiners.  Smiley

It only shows their lack of knowledge regarding Bitcoin/digital currencies. The only thing the whole article is good for, is that it gives you a good laugh.

10732  Other / Meta / Re: Password reset without permission?? on: May 27, 2015, 01:50:08 PM
I doubt that there was a system reset. I would have been affected as well.
It's quite possible that you just miss typed something while setting up the old one. It can happen. Also if someone knew the password from yesterday, the could have reseted it without permission.

I am 100% sure I didn't miss type it. It constantly told me my password was wrong. And as I said, I used the exact same password yesterday without any problems.

The password was created directly after the second time the forum was back and running.
10733  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A few tips to increase the anonymity of your BTC transactions on: May 27, 2015, 01:46:49 PM
Most exchanges only use one address for withdrawals, but you deposit to a different personal address. An alternative to mixers is depositing and withdrawing through multiple exchanges in multiple jurisdictions. It's unlikely the Americans could force a Chinese exchange to give them details of transactions, and vice versa.

The exchange deposit and withdraw method is well known. It is a good alternative to mixers, except you never know when these exchanges might go down or delay withdraws and have your coins stuck inside  Cheesy

Better to "clean" in small amounts using this method. You will loose more fees but expose to less risk.

The exchange method will lose its shine as more and more exchanges (even altcoin exchanges) will require you to verify yourself with id and such.

10735  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-05-20] Upstart: How BTC will survive after the last bitcoin is given away on: May 27, 2015, 01:33:36 PM
Let's say the average fee reward will be 0.15BTC per block at the time all coins are mined. You will need a single Bitcoin to be worth $40000 to get around $6000 worth of Bitcoin as a block reward.

I really can't see Bitcoin go much higher than $5000, if ever.

We are talking about the 2140 scenario. That is, more than 125 years from now. I will be quite surprised, if the Bitcoin is valued at less than $ 1 million per coin by then. $150,000 will be a very attractive block reward. And taking in to account the reduced costs in mining equipment, we will be seeing a lot of competition in mining.

I know it's far away, but your price estimate is beyond insane. If we all think like that, then we are all potential millionaires, and some even billionaires. That money has to come from somewhere  Wink
10736  Other / Meta / Password reset without permission?? on: May 27, 2015, 01:20:07 PM
I was trying to log-in here a few minutes ago, and found out that my freshly changed password didn't work anymore, while I used it to log-in yesterday without any problems.

Was there a system reset? I had to use the forgot your password option to set up a new one. Very weird.
10737  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which Browser you like most? on: May 26, 2015, 11:32:14 PM
Firefox is superb. It should be the standard browser in each Windows version instead of shitty Internet Explorer.
10738  Other / Off-topic / Re: General Football Discussion on: May 26, 2015, 11:24:35 PM
Falcao is back to AS Monaco. Glad to see that LVG did not use his BIN option. Di Maria also played his last match for United, however, I am not sure where he will go. I guess PSG.

I think potential transfer targets for United are; Hummels, Schweinsteiger, Bale, Cavani, Lloris, Khedira.

I also think Ronaldo will leave Real this season, I only hope he's not heading towards PSG. Would love to see him in England.
Why would you bring Cavani into this, he is no better than Falcao and Falcao is no good, and United cant get bale, bale wants to win things, if ronaldo comes to england it will be an exchange that sees Hazard move to spain and ronaldo move to england, those germans wont want to move either

Cavani has no chance in France because of Ibrahimovic. He is much better than Falcao. I am nearly certain that at least Hummels and Otamendi will make a move to United.

Others are just speculation. Cavani might be part of a trade. Di Maria to PSG, Cavani to United with a small money bag.
10739  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: May 26, 2015, 11:19:10 PM
Yes, it matters to some extent, but I will continue using Bitcoin no matter what the price is.

Most people (including myself) will use Bitcoin regardless of the price.

But would you hold your coins for let's say a few years if price was not important to you? I wouldn't. I would just buy coins when I need to pay someone or to buy stuff online.
Oh, really? I think you are talking like that because you know or are convinced that bitcoin price won't reach some ultimate bottom like below $50.  For now price is still above $200 - not so tragic.
I doubt that people would be interested if price went to bottom like crazy, it would be mass dump and panic. I personally would sell all my coins and call it done.

Yes. Really. I believe in Bitcoin. I am realistic enough to know that it won't reach anything higher than $5000, if ever.

If I ever had the impression that Bitcoin would have a small chance of getting dumped to the ground, I wouldn't hold a single satoshi. Same applies for when price wouldn't be important to me.

People are different. Where people are ready to panic sell and take huge hits, there are other people making loads of money by getting in at the right moment.
10740  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Life on Bitcoin movie trailer on: May 26, 2015, 11:08:45 PM
Always when the media covers Bitcoin related news, they somehow manage to always include SilkRoad in it, for the 1000000000th time. It's enough now.

The trailer looks ok, nothing special. But will give it a look once it is ready.
