Can someone explain to me why I have a meager 25 waves on my day-1 ICO investment of 0.099 BTC? So far as I can tell, the ICO recieved about 30,000 BTC for the 85 million available waves.. 85,000,000 / 30,000 would be (not factoring for bonuses) 2833.33 waves per BTC, and I sent ~0.1 BTC, which should be ~283 Waves (again, not factoring for my 20% bonuses / bonus impact on total wave distribution). So why did I only get 25 waves in my ICO account?? Just doesn't add up.. The market cap of Waves is greater than the ICO Investments, but my total waves are worth less than 10% of the BTC I contributed...? I was just wondering about this Halving and what people will do, if the price hits the $1000+ price again? Most people seem to think that the previous record, were just a fluke and were artificially inflated by the Willy Bot. Take the loss and accept and know that BitCoin is Volatile. I get paid every Friday in bitcoin, and since last Friday, i'm down a bit, but that's the cost of me accepting to be paid in bitcoin in the first place. more people should do that though. the more people that treat bitcoin as a real currency, the more it'll be a real currency. id say 90% of bitcoin users treat it as an investment... not a currency. I'm just curious though as to how you do it, do you have a family, like people who depend on you financially? Do you pay bills/rent etc every month? I'm asking because I know I would be stressed out of my mind if I couldn't plan my budget because of Bitcoin volatility. Unless of course I'm making so much money that even if Bitcoin drops by half, I'm still okay. If you live by yourself, it's not that big a deal but if you have kids to feed it's a different story. should get involve much if you have kids to feed really. you just have to spend the money you can afford to lose. those btc that you earn thru signature campaign would be worth trading or gambling but not the ones you earned with your 5-9 day job. |

The most important part of getting listed on Poloniex, would mean the coin is trusted, its hard to get on Poloniex, so for me, Waves being listed on Polo would give me a lot more confidence to buy more. (below 40k sats) Yes, Poloniex does code audits so that a Lucky7Coin type exploit doesn't strike them. But they also hastily listed TheDAO on their exchange, and that hasn't worked out so well.
