10741  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How effective are USB Scrypt miners? on: February 09, 2014, 08:25:08 PM
I want to mine scrypt but I have a laptop... so I need a solution and the easiest seems to be USB Scrypt miners,
how good of hashrates do I get though? Is it comparable at least to a GPU or a few GPU's(if a have a few usb miners running?) Whats your feedback?

Anyone know a good deal of where to get them as well?

it is hard to use online calculator?

just type google > mining calculator

thats all! Smiley

good luck

10743  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is blockchain.info a safe place to keep BTC? on: February 09, 2014, 08:18:09 PM
You have to remember that IF you keep money ONLINE

IF they will LOST their wallets, database etc.

You MIGHT have some problems with getting back your money.

I guess blockchain will payback all eventyally lost.
BUT - it is BETTER to keep your bitcoins on some storage devices.

You can make your own copy, even print it and you do not have to worry about it.

Keeping money online might cause some risk.

10744  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is a mining rig a fire risk on: February 09, 2014, 08:15:57 PM
4.67 is definately a lot for a home rig.

Sorry I got my maths wrong.  It is drawing 1 kw unit per hour.

It turns out to be just 1 KW/h. Smiley

so you should not worry about causing fire.
But remember to better do not keep it on a carpet because of electrostatic.

10746  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hello internet people! on: February 09, 2014, 08:13:00 PM
Been lurking the forum for a while, decided to finally register!

I've been researching crypto currencies for the last 6 months and about to open an amazon store that sells only mining equipment.

Was considering selling some video cards on here since they still appear to be sold out everywhere.

I'm a stock trader by day, and currently reside on the best coast of the US =)

Hello and welcome.

before making any deals around forum please notice there are some rules arund and if you want to make good deals
you need to stay within those rules.

cheers and good luck

10750  Economy / Speculation / Re: use the necro function on: February 09, 2014, 08:06:30 PM
amid all this panic do yourself a favor and search for "shaking out weak hands" price may dip, but nothing about bitcoin has changed, the protocol is as safe and useful as ever. since nothing has actually changed that means these fluctuations are no more then blips on its path upward. what bitcoin actually is brought us to the price we are now, it had nothing to do with good or bad press. the press came because of bitcoin. nations are taking note of bitcoin now, sell at your own risk.

there is always panic time when price drops even 50$.
So Smiley just keep doing what you are and do not worry about panicers.

Let they sell BTC to us Wink

next time configure your wallet to add fee 0.0001 MINIMUM

Not his transaction.  He cannot add a fee.

The transaction was created by the bittylicious.com service.

They are the ones who are failing to add the fee and who need to be told.

I'd recommend that nobody use their service, and that everyone discourage everyone else from using bittylicious's service until they fix this problem.  Why would you trust someone with your money when they clearly don't know what they are doing?

Ah. Such a cheapskates are those bittylicious Smiley

they wont even add small fee into transaction.. nice ...
Yes I will never use it for sure.

Anyway Smiley you dont worry and just easly wait for confirmations..

10756  Economy / Services / Re: Earn up to 0.8BTC/month just by posting! - Advertise for PrimeDice.com! *Updated on: February 09, 2014, 07:35:05 PM

You could just use two robots coping and pasting from other forums. Well, one robot can do the same actually as well as a human under two accounts, though a robot would still outperform a human by a big margin, lol...

I think 4000 posts per month would be a doddle!

Hmm... yes you can copy and paste. Why not. But I guess you will not get your payment.
Its so easy to check your posts are they plagiat or not.

So Smiley yes, you can even copy and paste a Bible - but your job it is going to be pointless and worthless at all.

Good luck
