This weekend we had it all. Downtrend. No new fiat. Long term bear market was so "obvious," duh. But we are down only a few points and now trending higher.
Are we worried? What should we do?
don't worry about the radioactive dead cat bouncing stick to the fundamentals. we are up like 6,000% this year Crazy bull NEEDS to take a break.... right? I think selling now is foolish, you should have sold 1000$+ but ya.... common sense says down. ( bear market for how long tho, that is the question! ) |

all i'm saying is TA is BS
only an all knowing god can predict the future.
TA works to an extent because people think it works and act accordingly. Oh and also: even an all-knowing god might not be able to predict the future. If he could, why would he even run the world. Makes no sense. there is no such thing as an all knowing god our god is the universehe is completely oblivious of our existence because in his eyes our universe is a small sub atomic particle in his body. now you know the secret.   I can easily agree with that view. I should start a religion we all gather together on sundays, I say a tone of existentialist BS, and then collect bitcoin donations |

lol sorry about the weird quoting  Don't you run something called "bitmovements"? yes. I think i have a solid understanding about how markets work. and I like to pretend i know where price is going. if you subscribed and read my commentary on recent moves & my predictions, maybe you'd understand where i'm coming from . people place value on my thoughs on the market I love it! Thing is your predictions come with a high chance of becoming self fulfilling prophecies given that your thread is the presumably the most active thread on the official BTC forum. if you honestly believe that, subscribe to bitmovements!  |

I was working under the impression the Wikipedia definition was more or less correct: "In finance, technical analysis is a security analysis methodology for forecasting the direction of prices through the study of past market data, primarily price and volume. People who write code are today's rock stars. edit: and now they're driving around in Lamborghinis....that's gonna only add to that rep  Not sure that picture holds. As a professional coder I get paid about $97000 per year, converted from NOK, by a large multinational company. Then comes about 40% income tax, which leaves me with $38800 per year or $3233 per month or $161 per day or $21 per hour or BTC0.029 per line, given the "think for an hour, write one line" mantra. In other words 34.5 lines per BTC Oooops! Caught a bug! 40% tax would leave you with $58200. I work for a very very small company ( we are 2 poeple! ) i get to work from home ( which is not as fun as it sounds ) i'd rather not say how much i get paid  but i'm very young, and the company is too, I really have to stop trolling my thread and focus on growing my company enough about my life BUY BUY BUY ! |

ok i wana talk about the poll a little 1 - 4 (3.6%) 10 - 2 (1.8%) 100 - 17 (15.5%) 1000 - 27 (24.5%) 10000 - 14 (12.7%) BUY BUY BUY - 46 (41.8%) i'm very disappointed.... 41.8% of the bitcoiners are trolls. 12.7% have self esteem issues ( 10,000line of code for 1BTC wtf dudes! ) 24.5% do not value their work very much 3.6% are crazy lazy only 15.5% are hard working a good programer thinks for 1 hour and then writes 1 line, so the correct answer is 10 lines of codes, 98% of the poeple got it dead wrong! Expecting ~$10 per line of code to do anything is pretty lazy, I think. Actual pay for a developer is probably closer to $1. In my limited experience enterprise applications are made with shitloads of code, not this mythical "good programming". its easy to write 10,000 lines of code in no time its quite a different story to fix one line among millions. |
