10761  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-08-31]Bitcoin Price Comes Close to $4,700 As Latest Jump Takes Altcoins Hi on: September 01, 2017, 06:53:00 PM
Had quick glance at https://coinmarketcap.com/ and looks like its not only bitcoin enjoying the gains, and i thought people said when bitcoin gains altcoins fall....guess this crypto myth is busted.
Biggest gains among the top 50 so far we have PIVX,  Ethereum Classic and Litecoin hope to see BTC as a top gainer soon.
10762  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where do you get your ideas for investments? on: September 01, 2017, 12:51:06 PM
Picking out the best project to invest in might be difficult process especially if there is an existing project in same industry but it becomes easy to pick one if the project shows commitment and brings out something different from what already available on the market and a combination of other peoples ideas and my own help make that million dollar decision.
10763  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you keep track of your wins/losses ? on: August 31, 2017, 08:40:58 PM
I personally use a spreadsheet but I'm sure there are better way to do it.

Do you know any good websites/apps to do it?

I HIGHLY recommend https://altpocket.io
It is such a great website, with good looking layout and all the information you want from your coin(s)
Thanks for the share its really a nice handy website and clean user interface too, I was actually expecting this to be a fee paying site but to my surprise its FREE! Otherwise before I knew of this website I avoided keeping track of my trades because on bad days i made some losses which i do not like to account for...
10764  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling site closed? Why? on: August 31, 2017, 10:44:59 AM
First directbet got closed and now rollin.io whats really going on...as far as I know if any business is to bring good services to its customers there must be competition, without it we might get below par services. Maybe gambling without verification is attracting heat which these guys are trying to avoid.
10765  Economy / Speculation / Re: What price do you think bitcoin will reach by 2020? on: August 31, 2017, 09:54:32 AM
What price do you think bitcoin will reach by 2020?
I personally think that bitcoin can reach $100.000 by 2020 but i think it's never going to go to $1.000.000!
Hundred thousand within 3years is a little Overzealous and seeing that bitcoin prices usually increase by $2000- $3000 per year I would expect to see it rise to something between $12000 and $20000....but should demand be overwhelming we could see it trade higher than 20 grand.
10766  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: On Which device do you Gamble? on: August 30, 2017, 10:13:34 AM
In my opinion gambling from a pc(desktop) has a much better and smoother user experience unlike on mobile where certain options are hidden because of the interface which is built to make things appear cleaner.
10767  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: where do i start to invest my bitcoin(newbie) on: August 29, 2017, 10:44:19 PM

Since you looking forr something legit, just buy some bitcoins and hodl them or should I say forget about them for atleast a year and check up on them later on to see how much value has been accumulated, you could also consider investing in altcoins like ethereum which imo are stable coins at the time of writing...
10768  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in the moon!!! on: August 29, 2017, 09:23:28 PM
We not yet there but bitcoin has started to charge in that direction, just hoping that demand keeps growing so that btc value can grow to...

Market seems ignore recent panic speculation and fud about damp hashpower, spamming mempool, high tx fee. Bitcoin is traded like nothing bad happened for forth day at row.
Most bitcoiners will ignore most speculations or fud because we all know these are a temporary set back that usually get sorted out.
10769  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Safe Exchange on: August 29, 2017, 05:34:05 PM
Its difficult to guarantee safety but i personally like using etherdelta because its decentralized and you have the keys to wallets while you trade.

For your  STORJ to ethereum or vice versa transaction check https://etherdelta.github.io/#STORJ-ETH and i can say its fairly safe not heard anybody been hacked from there and good price to, happy trading.

I do not understand why a sportbook would do this...should we all stop gambling to avoid such from happening to us or better yet  have our video recorders on to have evidence for our activity, and its good you have video proof for this misfortune hope they compensated you for this Cry
10771  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trade or Hodling on: August 29, 2017, 08:23:43 AM
It depends what crypto coins you intend to day trade or hodl because if you hodl shit coins for a long time dont expect any profit from such but I believe day trading and hodling can both  e done to maximise your profits

10774  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin price pump, altcoins dump? on: August 28, 2017, 01:31:54 PM
Why do altcoins price dumping. When bitcoin price pump. Is there any explanation about this?
Its not always pumps and dumps that affects the relationship between bitcoins and alts and this phenomeon is not proven yet because if this were true we would have had a situation where every pump of bitcoin would reflect a dip for altcoins and to be honest this isn't a mathematical equation either because some alts have a strong community which makes them resistant to such..
10775  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Criminality and Bitcoin on: August 28, 2017, 10:46:05 AM
https://www.deepdotweb.com/2016/01/23/bitcoin-playing-an-increased-role-in-crime-europol-says/

Would you believe that the existence of bitcoin has increased the number of criminality in  some countries in the world. This is the issue that was being thrown by the EuroPol and the UK Metropolitan Police. According to them bitcoin has played a huge role on the increasing criminality in their area. They added that a huge number of cybercriminals were using bitcoins in their activities.

This just shows that as bitcoin develops both advantages and disadvantages will tag along.
Maybe this one of the reasons that the government could not make bitcoin a legalize currency im some countries because they are afraid that bitcoin can be used to illegal activities that may increase the numbers of criminals.
Its a valid reason to not legalize bitcoin but I dont buy the story of saying bitcoin has increased criminality when in-fact fiat is the top mediums when it comes to aiding criminal activities  and besides once you chose to use bitcoin for such activities the money trail will always be there....

Quote
But if bitcoin don't have any record of cyber crimimals maybe it can be legalize by the government.
Our governments are well informed that cyber crime did not start because of bitcoin...legalisation battles are far from cyber crime imo.
10776  Economy / Economics / Re: A wise strategy for your bitcoin on: August 28, 2017, 08:22:16 AM
Hello everyone, I want to share about my strategy with bitcoin and I need your advice.
So the example is, I've buy bitcoin in price $2000/btc with amount $750 so I have 0.375 btc. When the price climb to $4100/btc, I sell my 0.184 btc to get my first capital and get $754.4 and 0.191 btc left .then when the price dump again to around $3900, I buy it again with my $754.4, so I get 0.193xxx btc and  my total btc is 0.384xx. With my $750 I can keep increase my bitcoin with this strategy. So what do you think. Am I doing right with my bitcoin? Or you have any advice. Please explain.
Its a strategy that might work but its not the most effective methods i have seen as far as i can tell because there will always be an emotional attachment which could cloud your judgement while you trade and this method seems to take long as you always need to be on the look out for pumps and dumps and if you miss any of these you dont make money.
10777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Looking for people that use Ethereum | 0.05ETH for 5 minutes of work on: August 27, 2017, 09:28:20 PM

10778  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How much is the suggested amount of starting investment on bitcoins? on: August 27, 2017, 08:26:30 PM
How much is the suggested amount of starting investment on bitcoins?
This is entirely up to you and will depend on how much profit you  intend to receive

In United States Dollar currency please or Philippine Peso.
Again this is entirely all up to you or the exchangers  preferred  currency
and also, is it better to invest in bitcoin rather than investing in stocks?
I would say bitcoin is better because you get to manage everything unlike stock which is usually managed by a third party and payouts are all after a certain time frame
10779  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Invest in ether now or wait? on: August 27, 2017, 08:00:25 PM
There is possibility that the price of ether can be increase more soon due to a big issue coming back with bitcoin the fees are increased again..
and if you heard the news about blockchain added ether so i think the price of ether can be increase more soon that i think much better to investment more.. so that you will not lose opportunity to make profit.. past few weeks the price was honestly low but right now the price is high but it doesn't mean that the price will stay here and i think the price can be increase more soon..
I  think blockchhain.info's addition of ethereum to their wallet services could actually help it grow but i know some users investors mostly have not tried any  other cryptocurrency other than bitcoin, and having eth on one of the most popular wallets will certainly see it grow in demand...maybe now is the time to buy before it starts to soar.
10780  Economy / Speculation / Re: Cashing out could destroy crypto? on: August 27, 2017, 07:08:19 PM
Yes, cashing out is what is killing any crypto, and there is nothing we can do about it. People invested their money on the cryptos to make profits  that's why there are selling whenever they make some profits over. People are looking for profit so whenever they make it then they sell their coins. Grin
Totally agree! Cashing out on an individual level would not kill bitcoin but if people were to cash out in some sort of coordinated manner because of fud or whatever market fears this definitely would destroy not only bitcoin but several other altcoins with it.
