If you said bitcoin is the leading currency in the crypto currency then everyone will be agree, but if you are talking about comparing bitcoin and Dollar or Euro then bitcoin will never defeat them, fiat money is controlled by the government and basically got no limit because they can just create more, while bitcoin got a limit, so there wont be enough for bitcoin to dominate fiat and of course the government will never agree with the idea of bitcoin become a leading currency
I'm also not too sure if bitcoin can be a major currency, all countries already have FIAT currencies which are the main currencies of their respective countries, even bitcoin is also not registered legally in global currency trading securities. therefore the possibility is very far if bitcoin becomes the main currency. To use bitcoin as a major currency, we need approval from every government in all countries, and that is not easy as said because many of them don't trust cryptocurrency, especially bitcoin. They still find and learn more about cryptocurrency, and I think if they can see the benefits of using cryptocurrency, soon they will try to use cryptocurrency and bitcoin for making a transaction. |
