oh there are more and so we are even mislead by these books. this just proves everything is a mess. This is no coincidence, this is a mess, thats what it is.  Grin
history says there are 12 in the solar system. http://ancientvisitors.blogspot.com/2011/12/sumerian-12-planets.html

Our history is a total fabrication, its made up by some creative fellows who wish to control everything

LOL.  You would think people on this forum would have just a slight idea of how science works.  I guess not.

BTW, Sumerians were using clay tablets for their record keeping, so I'd not pay any attention to what they said about astronomy or science in general.
They knew diddlysquat about astronomy, physics, math or science in general.  Science was not even a word back then.

yeah science is even not a word even today.
if its the astronomy that people wants they just have to use their eyes. there;s the sun, moon, stars and earth. that's just it. nothing more.
10782  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The geeks are the new millionaires in this digital age. on: June 20, 2016, 02:54:40 AM
Well we can all dream, right?

Don't know how many people still have coins mined in 2009-2010.  That guy paid 10k btc for a pizza, and that's basically how bitcoin was viewed back then.   And if there are btc millionaires because of holding coins for years, I haven't seen any here.

Those who owns btc businesses today are those early adopters back then. if you have an employer who pays you btc every hour, then he musht be one of those guys who mine btc years ago.
There are few that we can see here with legendary ranking registered since then.

What makes you think Waves would be a scam ?

Didn't you know every thing is scam here?
Those that miss being an early adopter or miss the ICO will always treat a token a scam. I bet a lot of us treat SATOSHI is SCAM.

10785  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES Price speculation on: June 20, 2016, 01:53:35 AM
One is certain, bitcoin going up and everything else is going down.. Cheesy Maybe if something happened..
Bitcoin needs to settle at its new floor before altcoins can grow.

thats true. that is why it might just be better for new coins to actually release after halving or when bitcoin is stabilized its price.
By that time no dumpers will dump just to move to bitcoin in hopes to gains after price hike.

I received a response from Bittrex. The same automated response everyone else receives.

Thanks for the request. Our policy is to not comment on whether we will launch coins but we only add coins under active development with high community demand.

We gauge demand based off of tweets, hash power, length of bitcointalk thread, volume on other exchanges, etc. Follow us on twitter @bittrexexchange and tweet about how much you like this coin and Bittrex. We respond to creative and insightful posts to help market your favorite coins and Bittrex. I'd also consider coming to our irc channel #bittrex on irc.freenode.net and do some guerrilla marketing. The traders there can help you gain exposure for your coin.

Thanks,
Ryan @ Bittrex

I'm not paying 3btc to guarantee a listing when that money can go to so many more aspects of this project.  Thats 6 years of Coin Payments acceptance, 20 years of web hosting for www.Usedgpus.com, the whole premine @ current prices. If Bittrex adds us it will be on our own merits in time.

We have a large twitter following and I'm not on IRC . . if anyone else is on IRC in Bittrex channel throw GPU coin out there !!!

you mean they are asking 3btc just so they will list a coin? damn! exchange is really a good business.
we'll I've already voted on c-cex. hope it will be there soon.
10787  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Coincidence that Sun and Moon seem same size or God's work? on: June 20, 2016, 01:28:18 AM
Everyone can write whatever they want on wikipedia. I was once hired to write for a local politicianon their page, i don't even know if it was real. but yeah whatever they wanna write there, its theirs.
So long as they don't interfere with the bitcoin going to skyrocket, I'd be just fine.

If you think that scientific wikipedia articles are false or manipulated then you can go to library or contact directly to astronomers and ask if those facts are true or false.

how can we be sure those books in the libraries and astronomers are telling the truth?
new discoveries even told us that we have to rewrite text books and history since there were actually 12 planets in the milky way not just nine.
10788  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Are you comfortable with putting your ID online? on: June 20, 2016, 01:26:07 AM
i don't mind sending my ID to a company as long as they don't put it available for everyone else to see.
if its just for verification, i guess i can't do anything else but send my drivers license to prove i'm real.
Thats actually the fallacy why a lot of people are scammed through Identification theft. Not all such services require your identification, and despite being registered you shouldn't just send your id to them without marking them in some manner. The company won't tell you they are using your id on different places, the data can also be compromised by a hack,so you should stay away from companies that don't have a good security.

never giving your ID would perhaps work good in your country. but  if you can not cash out with out it, i don't have any choice.
living in this 3rd world country where they enforce everything will choke us to death.
10789  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin is the sleeping giant on: June 20, 2016, 01:20:07 AM
Litecoin is gearing towards mass adoption in order to be utilized as an alternative payment method to traditional payment methods.

In case anything was wondering what Litecoin's purpose was, since most major cryptos (including Bitcoin) are still figuring out what they can be used for.

Sigh...reading your name and post makes me miss

www.litecoinarchive.org ....is it dead for good?

Anyway......LTC is a bit of 'stability' in all this drama in crypto...so whatever works for a niche I guess

There are plans to develop a new forum Wink.

thats good news. i hope they really will. it would be a waste if they don't find ways to make the coin useful.
a market place will also enable the litecoin to circulate too.
10790  Economy / Gambling / Partnering to Create Gambling site on: June 19, 2016, 02:52:23 PM
I'm planing to develop a gambling site. I'm no programmer but what i can do is marketing.
I'm thinking of partnering with someone, i wonder if anyone had already done his before here in bitcointalk? I wanna know what their agreements are to see if the my future partner will also agree to it.

I think most of the trading on bittrex will be traders buying up low priced waves dumped by anyone who got bounties etc.Not many buyers will dump it I think.I only wanted to use bittrex to set a few low buy orders and not sell.Maybe a lot of btc from DAO and ETH will go into waves when it lands on poloniex.Dumping at a low price will only be doing those whales a favour and you may not be able to buy them back later either.

I think most of the bounties got dumped on YOBIT.   There was some decent selling pressure between 40-50k  yesterday,  and now there is some 70btc walls  around the 60k area.

I think we could test the 60k range, but it would be more reasonable to expect a pump and settle into the low 100k area. atleast until polo gets in.

I thought yobit is only selling IOU's, I haven't heard that news yet that we can trade to them because if that is true then I am one of the dumpers who would like to throw my waves right away.

So they already dump at yobit? not possible. i just check it before replying here and their wallet says Deposit for such currency is temporary off.
so there is no way people can dump their waves there.
10793  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Beta] Poordice.com - free Bitcoin dice - provably fair on: June 19, 2016, 02:22:31 PM
I can not believe someone would actually name their ambling  site poordice.
not sure if it can help the marketing but yeah do you intend to make this dice site only for poor gamblers? must be a branding technique.
10794  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BREAKING NEWS: DAO Attacker Identified!! on: June 19, 2016, 12:36:59 PM
Where did you hear the news from? Also, what is (s)he being charged with? Post a link or it's just a made up rumor.

Ironically in another thread there were people saying the attacker was planning to sue the ethereum and DAO devs if they try to change the code to stop him claiming the coins he has. The DAO rules say the code is the final decider in a legal dispute, and the code's rules allowed him to attack the DAO, so it could be argued the hack was legal.

===== BEGIN SIGNED MESSAGE =====
To the DAO and the Ethereum community,

I have carefully examined the code of The DAO and decided to participate after finding the feature where splitting is rewarded with additional ether. I have made use of this feature and have rightfully claimed 3,641,694 ether, and would like to thank the DAO for this reward. It is my understanding that the DAO code contains this feature to promote decentralization and encourage the creation of "child DAOs".

I am disappointed by those who are characterizing the use of this intentional feature as "theft". I am making use of this explicitly coded feature as per the smart contract terms and my law firm has advised me that my action is fully compliant with United States criminal and tort law. For reference please review the terms of the DAO:

"The terms of The DAO Creation are set forth in the smart contract code existing on the Ethereum blockchain at 0xbb9bc244d798123fde783fcc1c72d3bb8c189413. Nothing in this explanation of terms or in any other document or communication may modify or add any additional obligations or guarantees beyond those set forth in The DAO’s code. Any and all explanatory terms or descriptions are merely offered for educational purposes and do not supercede or modify the express terms of The DAO’s code set forth on the blockchain; to the extent you believe there to be any conflict or discrepancy between the descriptions offered here and the functionality of The DAO’s code at 0xbb9bc244d798123fde783fcc1c72d3bb8c189413, The DAO’s code controls and sets forth all terms of The DAO Creation."

A soft or hard fork would amount to seizure of my legitimate and rightful ether, claimed legally through the terms of a smart contract. Such fork would permanently and irrevocably ruin all confidence in not only Ethereum but also the in the field of smart contracts and blockchain technology. Many large Ethereum holders will dump their ether, and developers, researchers, and companies will leave Ethereum. Make no mistake: any fork, soft or hard, will further damage Ethereum and destroy its reputation and appeal.

I reserve all rights to take any and all legal action against any accomplices of illegitimate theft, freezing, or seizure of my legitimate ether, and am actively working with my law firm. Those accomplices will be receiving Cease and Desist notices in the mail shortly.

I hope this event becomes an valuable learning experience for the Ethereum community and wish you all the best of luck.

Yours truly,
"The Attacker"

That message should be taken with a grain of salt. The verification signature was badly muffed, it's not even verifiable. Absolutely no proof that this message did come from the hacker. Either way, there is definitely a controversy as to whether or not he should be held accountable or even have his earnings rolled back via a fork.

Actually good news either way.  The best case is they settle out of court.. The attacker gets a small piece and dao gets most returned.

If it was simply a moron write up of code it can fall under typographical error.

kind of like when a car dealer   runs an advert for a $19.99 car vs a $19,999.99 car.

Dao will claim the wording was a typo and was not intended to wipe out the coin's value due to dilution.

If it goes to court all funds will freeze and many years will pass before settlement.

So this was not an attack
 this was not a hack
this was an error in the dao wording
the dev that did this has been found out

all to do over nothing.
they will do a settlement or fight it in court.

it will not affect eth mining .

a smart fix is give the guy 4 to 6% of the error shake hands and move on.

so lets see what they do.

so if they agree and hat they shake hands, they will move on then. lol
those who dumped their DAOs are going to really regret for life. They should really buy back now.
10795  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Vitalik and Tual going to end up in jail? on: June 19, 2016, 12:31:50 PM
Except Vitalik has nothing to do with US laws (fortunately).

So that's going to save his ass? Good lord  Grin

I've invested on DAOs too but I definitely don't put all my life savings there. we all know crypto isn't the whole thing in this world.
And i guess those investors who deposit millions thinking they'd earn millions as well are just as noobs as they are. so they shouldnt try to find anyone to blame. they've been warned a lot of times in this forum.
10796  Other / Politics & Society / Re: From Russia with Love - a thread for positive stuff on: June 19, 2016, 12:24:43 PM
Russia is offering free land for anyone (i.e individuals who are holding the Russian passport) who is willing to move to Siberia. A plot amounting to 2.5 acres will be given, once the individual confirms his desire to move to Siberia. For noobs, Siberia is not 100% covered by the permafrost. Some of the Siberian provinces (such as Altay and Omsk) are being considered among the most fertile regions within the RF.

http://www.breitbart.com/national-security/2015/07/28/manifest-destiny-russia-offers-free-land-to-move-population-to-siberia/

And forced to learn Russian ? No thanks !  Grin

Well you gotta learned it if you are after all you are going to live there. you'd be outcast if you live there without interacting anyone.
you'd be worse as ever if you do that.
10797  Other / Politics & Society / Re: freedom of speech on private social media in the west on: June 19, 2016, 12:23:49 PM

the use of report button is somehow wrongfully used by lots of individual with motives. and they even ask supporters to also report for a number of reports on facebook get things done.
thats how it works this time.
10798  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GPU Coin - IMPORTANT NEWS - Please Read The ANN if you hold GPU on: June 19, 2016, 10:11:25 AM
So will SebastianJu keep the premine to be released on a later date or will it be burned?

will be great if burned.

This is a good idea for a presumably delocalised currency.
I can see this reaching many miners of altcoins in order to get cheap GPUs!
This also means that people that mine GPU coins can go onto instantly buying GPUs if they are trying to create marketplaces for this (with this intention).

I like that word, delocalized . . .this isn't aiming to be a decentralized currency, we just want to delocalize from a small market into a worldwide market, providing a currency.  Value has been created, through all the pumps and dumps, GPU is settling at a higher price after every dump.  It may not be a huge increase, i think huge increases are artificial.  If I take a ruler, put it on the chart from day 1 till now we are gaining market traction and value

We have been in a holding pattern waiting for block 100 000

Despite that, Usedgpus.com is on android, the Mac wallet was released.  The same for IOS will be coming within days, and the android wallet shortly.

Go Gpu Go

Doesn't have to be very fancy so delocalized is good. The value is getting stronger! hoping to install IOS wallet on my phone soon.
10799  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Okay, so when do we get another big DAO? on: June 19, 2016, 07:54:41 AM
Well i don't expect in dao and ethereum its already destroyed and i don't want to invest my money again in the 2nd chance making a new one..
They are just losing trust and more people are regret for their project.. well we don't know them maybe they will make another one anonymously and start building trust again..

Maybe another will create another but as of now investors are disappointed. they can't believe a project worth 100M just crash due to a unsecured codes.
they may consider investing to the existing ones.

Account number must be a sequence of 35 alphanumeric characters with no spaces starting with '1W'  ??     what is the meanning of this,  when I send wave to bittrex?

you need to append 1W in the beginning of your waves addy. that will allow you to send the waves to bittrex.
i just send mine too by following the instructions from the previous pages.
