1081  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: March 08, 2016, 03:15:22 PM
It is not smart to do that. Than you life will depend on a currency and that is not good. I hope later that the value will be more in the future.
But it is very hard to predict a currency for what is going to happen later in the future. And it is better to see Bitcoin as a bonus or something.
lol doesn't mean you work in bitcoin so you depend on bitcoin. i will ask you if I worked in a company. is it I rely on fiat?

But we know that fiat will exist in future for sure, same  faith we cannot have on bitcoins at a moment, as bitcoin can survive for 2 decades or more but what after that? If the value falls to extreme level then it would be difficult for us to take care of our financial needs.
1082  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You Should Never Sell Your Bitcoins Ever on: March 08, 2016, 03:12:21 PM
Reading the responses to the recent topic titled, "I would sell all my bitcoins if…." has left me concerned.

The kinds of responses on that thread reveal a deep misunderstanding of bitcoin and the current monetary system in many of those who are speculating. Let's consider the scenario in which bitcoin reaches $1000 or let's say $10,000 per bitcoin. Many have said they will cash out if bitcoin reaches this point. Why??

If bitcoin reaches $10,000 it will have to be because the fiat currencies of the world are tumbling to worthlessness via a hyperinflation type scenario and bitcoin is the safe haven, which if you know anything about the current monetary systems of the world, you know this is inevitable. (there have been 3800 fiat currencies throughout history and EVERY SINGLE LAST ONE has crashed to worthlessness; a value of zero) Why would you then sell all of your sound money (Bitcoin) for a bunch of fiat money that is inevitably becoming worthless? I don't understand the logic in doing that.

If bitcoin ever reaches $10,000 per bitcoin, you will NEVER see me selling for fiat paper money. You may however see me having a shopping spree at Overstock.com or TigerDirect.com or NewEgg.com! I will be buying things I want with my bitcoin profits DIRECTLY WITH BITCOIN, not selling my bitcoin for paper fiat. Hopefully by then there will be many more options, perhaps even Amazon.com will be accepting bitcoin for goods and I can have my shopping spree there.

Point being, selling bitcoin for dollars seems counterproductive. Why convert your paper fiat currency into sound value storing superior bitcoin, only to sell all of your superior bitcoin back for worthless antiquated fiat currency again? Why not just spend the bitcoin itself to buy what you want instead of taking a loss by converting back into dollars which will inflate away eventually anyway?
i'm not sure with that,i think we should sell our coins many time, its only for trading bitcoins Grin and as long we never know that bitcoin will reach that price, its okay to sell some coins, but i will make sure that i can buy it back, and keep it for investement.
there will be a time of course that you must sell your Bitcoins. Other wise you cant make some profit and that will be not good.
You only have to wait for a good value, than you can sell it for a high price and than you have some more money later in the future.

It is advisable to sell our bitcoin on a regular interval as only holding will not grow bitcoins in future, it should be spent and used that will take the value of bitcoins to a new level, so sell it whenever you feel that the price is good to sell.

1084  Other / Meta / Re: Public Agreement for this account to be virtually deleted on: February 07, 2016, 01:45:17 PM
its getting common on forum
someone took loan from a user and after sometime a new user started saying it was his account that got hacked
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1354724.0

IMO people using those tricks to sell account first without signed message and then later using signed message they claim that account was hacked.

1092  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing Bitcoins? on: November 23, 2015, 05:12:01 PM
There's already plenty of threads discussing this sort of stuff but the best investment in my opinion is to just buy and hold bitcoins themselves. Putting them in loans or start-ups or casino bank rolls is very risky and not worth the returns. I think most companies that want your bitcoins as an investment will more than likely turn out to be scams or fail at some point.
agree
you may find many websites that offer you good return on your bitcoin investment but most of them are scam.If you want to invest then you can start your own project with your own creative idea that is better then investing with others
1093  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: November 10, 2015, 09:48:11 AM
I don't have any Bitcoins left for now. I sold at $430 and am waiting for my next entry point, half will be brought anything below $300 and then will hold for further drops over Christmas.

1096  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price about to explode..at 296.74 now.... on: July 29, 2015, 08:19:39 AM
We have unfortunately not seen this supposed explosion, you can predict again if you think you may get closer this time? I don't think we are going anywhere much over 290's for the next few months, same as the previous few months. Being controlled would be an understatement.
1097  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Loaning - Is it worth it? on: July 28, 2015, 01:13:27 PM
If there is a chance of you being scammed then you will surly be scammed. Only ever loan Bitcoin if you can get a trusted 3rd party to hold collateral at 110%-120% of the value of the loan, which will at least cover you when they default. I doubt it is very profitable in all honesty.

1100  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: btc-e.com review on: July 25, 2015, 10:03:04 AM
this site is not safe,i also read bad things about this site on reddit and here. so i am not going to trade there, thanks all

I have traded on BTC-E for well over a year and have never had a single problem with them.

I've heard that their customer service is not the greatest but luckily I have not had to use them.

Normally the horror stories on froze accounts etc are the fault of the guys whose account was froze, and they are few and far between.
