Courtois is one of the best goalkeepers in Europe now. I can't say he is old for a goalkeeper either despite being 31 years old. I won't be expecting Real Madrid to wait for him to leave for no reason. Courtois must also be very happy to be a part of this team now. Honestly I was expecting Manchester City to win this Community Shield title one way or another. I waited for a good competition at the beginning of the season of course. Because this was the first official game for both teams so I didn't expect so many goals. We were about to find out which side was readier than the other one.
Palmer's goal was really lovely and I thought the game was going to end by 1-0. But it was unbelievable that there was a stoppage time of more than 10 minutes and Trossard scored the equalizer in the last moments. This was the turning point for Arsenal as they won by 4-1 on penalties.

Many people may think that Buffon didn't play all that many games because he is old, I did the same way, I assumed that he didn't play that much and was just a bench player for the past few seasons at least. But then I took a look at it and realized that he actually plead quite a few games. This means this dude was still playing meaningful minutes at 40+ years old.
Buffon is definitely one of the best goalkeepers of his generation and not only that he actually saw two or even maybe three different generations come and go while he played. That's a good situation for sure, I could easily say that he is in the goalkeeper hall of fame without a doubt, he had an amazing career and it could be considered very well for anyone.
Buffon always used his opportunity well whenever he was given the opportunity by his coach to enter the match which is part of some of the things that made their coach to love him more than any other Players in the team. I don't think, he will still continue football career in this season because his age will not allow other teams to accept him as a player despite he still has skills to display well but they will use that age to disqualify him not to sign him into the team.
