1081  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think is happening around STO? on: August 06, 2020, 01:20:53 PM
Seriously STO ( Security Token Offering ) has every legal evidence you could ever hoped for from new ICO and IEO projects, I'm just curious and surprised at the same time why STO projects aren't doing so well, they always failed to raise fund successfully even when they are more legit than others, what do you think it's happening with STO? Why so much failures?
STO trend doesn't last long, before that IEO took over the place of fund raising that is why STO projects are not successful compared to IEO.If the project is legit then they can find investors but it will take time so they had to launch the project at the right time not in the long bearish trend which time is really for a new project to sustain even the project has got potential.
1082  Economy / Economics / Re: MENTAL HEALTH ANG WELLBEING on: August 06, 2020, 12:46:02 PM
The new generation is extremely infantile and they can be shaken by any wind. This is the generation of snowflakes and dandelions so it doesn't matter if it's a pandemic or a missgendering on Twitter they are already depressed and run to write about their depression in FB/Twitter and go even more depressed because someone "devalues" their "experience". I'm not sure that more mature and accomplished people have such problems - because they fully understand how and what works and how to avoid certain things. So, your post is for the younger generation

Millennials need to learn the realities of life. Because these days, a lot of them revolve their lives in social media. And the sad fact is, some actually died and streamed their "sufferings" in social media. The peer pressure sometimes is too much for them to bear. The older generation knows how to deal this kind of scenario. For those that actually experienced the true hardship in life, being stuck at home with family and at least have something food for the table is more than enough to survive in this pandemic and they will not treat this as a disaster in life.
Not everyone in the world is same, even the baby born might have different attitude from their parents so it all comes from their own experience, for younger generation this might be their first time struggle so weak people are ending up their life due to the depression and lot other things.Life is so short just keep what you are doing and forget about the society, be good for others and try to achieve what you wanted to be then life will be complete.
1083  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do new projects know about this situation some years ago? on: August 06, 2020, 11:26:52 AM
We are in the DeFi projects session, right? I'm very curious to know how new projects realize that this is the time for DeFi projects. One legit project can build a coin in a few days. So many projects have focused on the DeFi system. My question is, are these projects legit or is it just a plan to grab the investors' money on this DeFi hype?
Not every projects are created years ago, many of them were created once the trend got hyped among the crypto investors.Probably many of them are legit but we also need to analyse is they are worth to invest? I will call they won't be profitable in long term so any potential investors should avoid getting into this hype trap.
1084  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling going to be regulated on: August 06, 2020, 06:21:42 AM
But how can we actually prove it? So every gambler need to provide their saving and assets information to an online gambling site if they want to gamble there?

Such a ridiculous idea it that, and if it has been passed as a law the UK online based gambling sites will be forced to move other countries where regulations are liberal and better for assuring the privacy while betting there.
1085  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Decentralized Cloud Storage: Is it worth it? on: August 06, 2020, 05:08:17 AM
I am not sure that decentralized cloud storage will continue for the long term. I better use a free service like Google Drive other than that in my opinion is more understandable and easy to use. Lay people will also quickly understand it
If you are using Google drive to store every precious information then Google knows everything about you, as far now they are not taking any of the details other than advertisement purpose but in future we can't predict the things how it will be.So either we need to store things in decentralized manner or better in an offline storage if you really care about your privacy data.

India, didn't ban any Chinese products, they only banned Apps but I heard that import taxes for some Chinese products are increased after the issue but this is going to affect the people only since we are the consumer so extra price will be on the head of the people in India. And actually India can't ban any Chinese products most of the electronics goods used all around the world was manufactured in China even if it is not a Chinese company so India need to build their own brands before banning others.

Recently a ban was imposed on some of the items, such as TV screens. This served two purposes - first, the market share of Chinese screens went down. And secondly, the Indian-made TV screens now got a monopoly in the market. But it is not practical to completely ban the Chinese brands. For example, Vivo was paying ₹2,200 crore for the five-year old deal with the BCCI. The second highest bid was also from a Chinese brand (Oppo) and that was worth ₹1,430 crore. Bids from all the other brands were lower than this amount. BCCI is going to lose a lot of money as a result of the Vivo pullout.

The Ban on Chinese products will be done in a phased manner. India cannot ban all items in one go, they have already banned a lot of Chinese apps, big infrastructure contracts have been cancelled and now the government is planning to ban Chinese telecommunication products.

By year-end most Chinese products will either get banned or these Chinese companies will have to sell their Indian business to indian companies.
I don't think so, the products will be banned because we don't even have alternative products which can match their price that is why people and companies prefer China as a land to manufacture things. Maybe in a five year time this can be possible if Indian companies starts to build successful companies but it is not also possible due to Indian taxation system that is why companies move to other countries when they want to establish a company.
1087  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Brave browser reaches 16.7 million monthly active users. on: August 05, 2020, 01:11:58 PM
Brave recently released their MAU statistics which has reached a rather impressive 16.7M: https://mobile.twitter.com/BrendanEich/status/1290312177182621696?s=19

It's a subject of debate, but Brave which uses BAT as it's token, is somewhat of a 'sleeping giant'. Personally, I can see Brave being very popular with millennials and Gen Z, particularly with gamers as the browser could potentially be used as a way to pay for gaming memberships with BAT. I'm also looking forward to their ad platform which is due to be released and other applications in the works.
Brave browser mainly used by lot of users due to its privacy but in recent days people found that brave isn't completely providing privacy to its users so people moved to Tor from Brave and that is why brave itself showing that they have lot of active users so people can consider them for using it.BAT could be a reason why people using it but I am also using it for general surfing not for any privacy related things.I just go with Tor whenever I wanted to get complete privacy.
1088  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH will touch 10,000$ to 12,000$ at the end of 2020. on: August 05, 2020, 12:10:43 PM
I am analyser of the crypto market and this time BTC will make a great pump but i hope that the ETH will also go so much up this year and soon all the ALT coins will go up in the market.
You are an analyzer? There is no real predictions in the cryptos its all are like just like fake promise.

And you need to know ethereum has no chance to get into such huge price at the end of this year, now you need to wake up from your day dream bro.
1089  Economy / Economics / Re: Bank's loss crypto's gain? on: August 05, 2020, 09:47:35 AM
Some government have no choice but to adopt the cryptocurrency in their economy so that they can take benefits from it through setting taxes from any crypto-related transactions.

But still they chose to not accept crypto above all, that's why banks experience crisis and crypto is not that affected. If governments are including crypto in their banks, people will surely try to invest and engage in this improved system in their economy. We all know that China is really good in terms of businesses related activities so probably they will not let their banks to become bankrupt, they have a huge economy.
Why some governments needs to adapt it? Banks can bring more income to the country than crypto taxes that is why government supports banks more than the cryptos and the reason for the crisis of banks are lead by the world's economic crisis and it affected by many factors along with covid 19.So people lost the trust on banks and converting their savings into hard assets.

About Vivo sponsorship....

Unofficial news is Vivo already pulled out as a sponsor from the IPL. BCCI had no authority to cancel the deal due to signed contract otherwise VIVO could have sue BCCI easily, if rumors are correct then BCCI-VIVO mutually came into conclusion of cancelling the deal.
Did India ban all the goods from China, heard that some of the Chinese application are banned but not heard about any products or imports ban, if there is a blanket ban on all the Chinese products then there is no point for VIVO to advertise if they are not able to sell the products, it is true that BCCI cannot cancel a deal as they can drag them in court.

1091  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: AltcoinDaily.io Youtube channel removed on: August 04, 2020, 12:51:56 PM
It was reported by AltcoinDaily.io that their official Youtube channel has been terminated by Youtube, as they claimed to have promoted illegal activities.

https://twitter.com/AltcoinDailyio/status/1289266552638857217

In other news, hundreds of fake giveaways has been popping in Youtube and they don't do anything about it. Grin. How ironic it is.

It's funny but its realities inside YouTube, they are strict with those channels who are genuinely producing contents that helps this industry.

While they are not doing any actions from those scammers who are also using their platform to scam people by giving fake giveaways allowing this scammers to continue enjoying the service without being penalized by the site admins.

If they only balance everything and give weight to every channels who are providing information, they can removed videos instead of terminating the whole channel.
Scam giveaways are from hacked channels so they start broadcasting those live stream soon after they hacked the channel and it may run for a day or two until the real owner of the channel reaches Youtube's support, probably they should increase their security features since most of the channels were hacked so easily and also the recovery options are not working once the channel got hacked.

The BCCI may be able to find another sponsor

The BCCI can easily find a sponsor, IPL is not a small domestic tournament, it is an international tournament that has a fanbase and viewship across the globe.

Quote
I don't think that it is possible for the BCCI to unilaterally cancel this deal, unless they reach a compromise with Vivo. Also, other sponsors may not be willing to pay this much for the IPL sponsorship.

The deal can easily be cancelled! but, Why should BCCI cancel it? when BCCI is bringing in Chinese money to India and not sending Indian money to China.

Those who are opposing this deal are basically contradicting the narrative.

The sponsorship is mainly for advertisement purpose so India is really advertising a Chinese brand all over the world which means China is going to make the invested money from all over the world so which is kind of reason for people opposing it.
1093  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you fear the president of your country, one day, making Crypto illegal ? on: August 04, 2020, 10:15:21 AM

What if, for example - like after that twitter hack - the President wakes up (in a bad mood) and decides with an executive order to make all crypto illegal in the USA?

Of course this probably will never happen in today's world, as the there is big money is invested into crypto currencies; but do you ever think that it is even remotely possible...

Or the next elected president is so "old school" and decides that crypto needs to go?

I don't mean only America, what about in your country; do think that a future ban on crypto currencies is ever possible in your country?
They can't simply ban it, they should report proper reasons for banning anything even it is not only the decision of president. It will be researched by expert group for a while then the report will be submitted to higher officials as well as president then only they can ban it.So it is not going to happen over night. Grin
1094  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: August 04, 2020, 06:46:53 AM
If you look at other sports the viewership are breaking records as there is no other contents to watch and you think that the viewership in India will drop because they retain Chinese brands as sponsors Cheesy. One more month and we will see that these concepts were wrong as people who love cricket will watch the matches irrespective of the political struggle and i wont be surprised if viewership records are higher than last years.
Higher than previous years? I doubt it. Get your facts right.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/m.economictimes.com/industry/media/entertainment/tv-viewership-sports-loss-is-news-genres-gain-in-first-half-of-2020/amp_articleshow/76877675.cms

In a country like India where Cricket is very popular, you can clearly see the slump in ratings whereas new ratings rose dramatically for obvious reasons. Chinese brands boycott will probably impact these ratings even further.
I bet it won't, when it comes to entertainment people won't take the political things into it and I don't know why we want to boycott IPL, if we really want then boycott Vivo then they won't sponsor the IPL in the coming years.Remember BCCI is trying to make the IPL possible for revenue reasons that is why they retained the sponsorship as well.
1095  Economy / Economics / Re: Bank's loss crypto's gain? on: August 04, 2020, 06:06:16 AM
There are many banks whose management system is very bad. Banks don't work properly so many people leave the bank and their existence goes down a lot. In that case, the bank incurs losses and the demand for crypto increases. In crypto, everyone can trade independently. Stocks are more likely to fail because they do not depend on the economy. In the case of banks, if the economy suffers, the rate of the bank decreases but there is no effect on crypto.
You mean the stock market will fall? No, it is also getting V shape recovery after the corona crash so no one actually is in loss except the salary class people who are the one ran out of money due to lockdown and big companies are still making the profits.Banks are always kind of bad with the middle class people and they will ask lot of documentation for the loan approval but we have no other choice than banks to get loans that is why they are going to survive even this corona crash.
Of course, government will not allow banks to bankrupt. They are going to survive in any way. Many people rely on banks and banks is the brain of fiat money that's why government will make sure it will survive. Also crypto is not yet accepted in most country or it was not totally use as payment method like fiat money.
Banks will be boycotted only if every government created their own crypto currencies which is already in the process of some countries like China, government is making huge money from the banks and banks are somewhat part of government but not entirely so for now government has no reasons to adapt to new system.
1096  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Stolen money from Binance on: August 02, 2020, 04:43:57 PM
Damn, this is no small money, op I can't imagine what you must be going through at the moment because this really sucks, especially seeing that no help is coming from any place, my question is, shouldn't binance have a plan for case like this, after all it was their api that was used, there should be a way to resolve or at most block a wallet with such incidence so that the hacker don't go free with such money, very disappointing that both binance and tether don't seem to be able to help.

after a lot's of search I found this : Etherscan Phishing Form

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSf8vsYLkm8QA8il615yS0gqCNmWWfLArFM1o4-R5xmV-0fbYg/viewform

just to report that you lost your money and you must prove it , seems its just for phising

You should contact the binance support and request them about from where the transaction got intiated like tracing down the IP might prove that you actually didn't made the transaction then you can go for tether support amd ask them to freeze or refund the amount in the hacker wallet. The chance of happening is very less though but still give a try.

^^ If i am not wrong they are organizing WIPL at same time as WBBL right? sounds stupid decision from the BCCI/Ganguly if true, considering Women cricket already have limited viewership and both tournament competing with each others.
Women's Cricket over the years have gained more importance. Now such a plan is good from my view, because more number of women players from India gets identified. When IPL started there were similar talks, what's the need for such a league. Later it got to be one among the top leagues played. Same as that WIPL might get more support.
Women's cricket never got support like men's cricket, there are only one or two matches will be conducted even if there is some league matches for women. But certainly we can see some growth all over the world for women's cricket but the cricket boards are not ready to spend money for their development activities.

This is a total nightmare

Gold is now 1941.25 usd today
Euro value is increasing against the USD ...
What this means is that soon i will have to increase my prices to 5-10%...
BTC is now above 10200 usd ( How in the hell is going to buy btc ? if no one will have money to buy )
Govs are putting us out of business ...

I think i am moving from IT to agriculture (as i got some land ... ) ,there is no way my IT biz will survive like this ...
There are investors who made lot of money from this pandemic crash so not everyone got affected who are one buying now to bring their total worth to more high.Agriculture can be a profitable one because now there is high demand for food products but remember you can't grow anything over night so make sure you have money to survive in that meanwhile period. Is it also possible to work in an IT and can manage your agri farms with workers
1100  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: August 01, 2020, 03:21:28 PM
So I guess everyone is busy with the IPL now. We were supposed to have the T20 World Cup in a few months time, but it was postponed by a year, so that the IPL can be played. In financial terms, I don't have any doubt that this was the best thing to do. But in the long-term, is this really beneficial? A franchise league is given preference over an ICC tournament, that too a World Cup.
Nope its not beneficial at all.

But BCCI going bankrupt or neglecting domestic cricket due to finance is beneficial for world cricket? Nope because in longer run if BCCI ran out of funds then No domestic cricket> No new talents> Weak Indian team> Fans might lose hope etc. End result would be death of die hard fan following of cricket in India. It directly effects Cricket economy of the world cricket.
Corrupted and greedy people don't care about anything other than increasing bank balance, BCCI looking to make profits in the short term but it may endanger the whole Indian cricket base in long run because we need to right fundamental to filter the young talents then only they can shine in the world's stance.

Is there any official news about IPL happening? when it is going to be played!
