I'm actually very surprised by the amount of player that went with Yes, I knew it was a trap, and honestly, all it took me was about 45 seconds to check each of those games to be sure not all of them will win their fixture.

Scotland was more secure pick than all those in favorites question
can't believe @1.55 odds for a home win over Georgia, but well received

regarding Sweden and Austria, Austria was really better and deserved to win that one, not sure about Sweden chances now, they lost home against Belgium, and with this they will probably say goodbye to Euro
Bosnia losing at home wasn't great surprise, but unexpected for sure (same odds as Scotland, so missed to put that on my parlay)

I wish i did a little bit more research going in as well, a lot of these teams don't need to win necessarily. Look at Serbia for example.  Grin Grin

While typing this Moldova scored again. LOL

why do you think Serbia does not need to win tonight? it obviously won't win, but I think that Serbia needed to win to have easier road for qualifying
Poland as well, they will have a mess with Albania now, to qualify for EURO, Czech republic seems to be no.1 candidate from that group

but overall, it wasn't looked that easy for all favorites to win tonight, and it seems that few will fail, not just one

Alcaraz match is being canceled, not sure why, but don't think that Fils is going to withdraw after two wins
do anyone has better info on this?

will wait for some more time to submit answers, is this question void if he withdraws or QF or less option applies as right answer?

edit: Fils withdraw, Alcaraz is playing with another opponent, that is lucky loser

I expected Turkey to beat Wales. Especially after Wales lost to Armenia the other day. I'm pretty surprised with another win for Armenia. I considered them to be one of the weakest teams in the group D along with Latvia. However after two recent wins they are signing at the second place with one game played more than Croatia. Their real test will be the game against Croatia in September.

I thought Armenia was a sure thing, as I wrote earlier, they were really good against Wales, and Zelarayan is in top form at the moment
but overall, Zelarayan was far from decider last night, they won really tight against Latvia (bunch of hard to pronounce names in that match on both sides, it seems that commentator had tough job on that one), but not sure that they have any chance to fight for top2 spots, no matter two wins in this playing round

Scotland should be certain pick tonight, to secure top spot in their group

Djokovic' on-grass win rate is at 85.83% and then from the active players who are going to play Wimbledon the next one is Bautista Agut with 69.59%. After that come Gasquet and Kyrgios and considering how strong Djokovic is right now, he is well set to increase his GS title count further this year. I guess only some kind of black out could stop him.

as it looks now, this season look as better chance for Djokovic to win all GS's than in 2021, when he lost final to Medvedev at US Open
and on Wimbledon, looking at form and participants, he is a main favorite, really can't see who can win over him in London

maybe there will be a surprise, but doesn't look were likely to be honest, it is just that he will probably not play any tournament on grass before Wimbledon, but he is experienced enough not to lose in first few rounds, no matter opponent
1087  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⭐⚽⭐ Sportsbet's Bitcointalk Sports Fanatics League (BSFL) – 7000+$ rewards ⭐⚽⭐ on: June 20, 2023, 08:53:46 AM
Oh man how I hate DOTA!
~snip

as I already said, I am taking that as a handicap, cannot do research, just luck on that question
but overall, this round will be luck based, with U21 football, NBA draft, Dota and Tennis on grass surface, there is no point to do research a lot

expecting a lot of surprises in all those questions, maybe NBA draft should go as planned, but all the others should go different ways, will be great to catch 5 this round

Overally, a bad performance from Perez once again...

yeah, pretty disappointing from him, not sure what is happening
overall, having Alonso and Hamilton on a podium is good for F1, at least race for second place is becoming more interesting, since Max is already champion IMO

regarding race, watch some parts, and it was pretty boring, nothing much to see during the race, and top three closing on qualifications schedule
kudos to Bottas, he got point, but podium would really an achievement with his car

Lastly, shout-out goes to Rodri, he's had such a marvelous season, four trophies in a season, damnit! ( Smiles ) Sure he'll win the FIFA World Club Cup and also the Super Cup against Sevilla at the start of the new season.

yeah, kudos to Rodri, he had a great season, and contributed a lot to all trophies, still remember goal against Bayern that was an opener for City to demolish them in the end
although, not sure they will win against Sevilla

Croatia had their chance, and if they won it, it would be deserved, but Spain secured it through penalties, would not say any was calmer, seems only luck decided
nevertheless, congrats to Spain

Netherlands ended up being last is a surprise, they were hosts, and it reflects their strength, there is no strength in Dutch team obviously

Guys! Finally, I made it!!
~snip

congrats man, it was a while, but you have made it, onwards to better results
first win this season for me as well, congrats to vd309 for a good fight

slackovic losing his first is probably news of the week Smiley, but he has to settle with his country result, they also lost it on penalties which was pretty unpredictable (even Sportsbet adjusted odds to @1.83 for Croatia to win on penalties just before start (usually it is equal odds before penalties, no matter rivals))

off to third round

So far I have double chance ticket in play but maybe I will add something more during the day or when I see the line ups.

looking at odds, double chance on Canada and Croatia is safer bet than going down with "favorites" USA and Spain to win in regular time, isn't it
meaning lower odds combined

overall, both matches can go either way, no easy way for any of teams

regarding goals in nations league, not sure what to think, 7 was in SF in two matches, expected less

Norway only have Haaland and Odegaard, the rest are just weak players

this is true, but they didn't actually play that bad yesterday, Scotland made all in just three minutes

Belgium failed to win yesterday, but Portugal claimed easy win and scored those goal late in the match to pass with over goals (o2.5 to be precise)
Iceland losing at home to Slovakia is a bit of surprise for me, will be interesting in that group as well
1093  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers on: June 17, 2023, 07:53:55 PM
Belgium is down against Austria, interesting feat is that so far, statistically, there is no shot on target (it was an own goal for Austria lead)
golden generation played great against Sweden, but tonight is not their night obviously

less goals today compared to yesterday matches, even Czech's can't get over2.5 so far against Faroe Island, defensive day
1094  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⭐⚽⭐ Sportsbet's Bitcointalk Sports Fanatics League (BSFL) – 7000+$ rewards ⭐⚽⭐ on: June 17, 2023, 06:18:28 PM

Yes I agree, I picked Kielce too, lets see...

Kielce passed through against PSG, and I would not call it a surprise
Magdeburg is a surprise, Barca didn't lost a match this season in CL (TBH, they didn't lost this one as well in regular time)

this is a chance for Kielce to get CL trophy, although Magdeburg is playing almost at home in Germany, I think that Kielce is a bit of favorite there, it would be a compensation for last season lost final (I also predicted re-match from last season final, and same score - Barca win)
1095  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers on: June 17, 2023, 06:10:37 PM
congrats to Scotland, after late overturn against Norway they are on top of their group with 9 points, and it is safe to say - already qualified to EURO
who would expect that in a group where they had Spain and Norway as participants, Haaland goal from penalty was not enough for Norway

in Serbia group, Montenegro failed to win over Hungary at home, it was a goalless draw

at the end of the season ajax will be in 3 or 4 position

I doubt this
Ajax is a big team, and 3rd position is as low as it gets for them, cannot imagine them being 4th, or to put it other way, I cannot see who can come above them with PSV and Feyenoord
can't see consecutive title for Feyenoord as well

with all this in mind, and maybe better odds when season starts, due to lack of good moves from their staff, maybe Ajax outright will be a good choice next season, depend on odds

But another match was not less interesting, it was Wales vs Armenia...

Wales losing at home just proves how much of this team was on Bale
Zelarayan was on top last night, he is at top form recently (playing mid-season at Colombus, they are at highest point in the season, while Europe football rests at the moment), scored two, but also made a mess in Wales defense all the time

@1.75 they can be a good pick against Latvia at home on Monday
1098  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⭐⚽⭐ Sportsbet's Bitcointalk Sports Fanatics League (BSFL) – 7000+$ rewards ⭐⚽⭐ on: June 17, 2023, 10:01:32 AM
The Latvia - Turkey match was also quite exciting especially in the second half. That equalizer to make it 2-2 in the stoppage time must have made the people who picked "Yes" really unhappy. But it didn't last long either because in only a minute or so Turkey scored the winner.
~snip

that was a big moment in the game, but Latvia had VAR review for penalty at 1:1, and Turkey scored just after the VAR finished
at that point, I thought that match is finished, but Latvia proved to be harder nut to crack that just this scoring

nevertheless, congrats to Turkey for winning this, combined with Wales losing at home against Armenia, it seems that Turkey will see Euro next year
1099  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⭐⚽⭐ Sportsbet's Bitcointalk Sports Fanatics League (BSFL) – 7000+$ rewards ⭐⚽⭐ on: June 16, 2023, 08:52:40 PM
Damn you, Denmark!

EDIT: disallowed by VAR it seems. What a crazy question this turned out to be Grin

what a show that was, on a same minute in overtime, Latvia scored and NI scored as well
NI disallowed for offside after several minutes, and Turkey scored another in overtime

and it is YES in the end, but could end up being NO as well, these two were far from being short of entertainment
didn't watch Denmark, was it an offside?

The only possible upset is between San Marino -Kazakhstan; the rest are simply walkovers.

as it now stands, all teams are up against underdogs, except for Denmark, they are still goalless against Northern Ireland
Turkey and Kazakhstan lead by one goal, England by 3, France and Swiss I do not follow anymore since it would take a miracle for their opponents to score

but Denmark could be that one to lead to NO as answer, although they need points after last round fail against Kazakhstan
