Has anyone successfully forged anything with XEL? I have a decent amount of XEL (~2 BTC worth) in my local wallet. I have forged several blocks but havent gotten any rewards. Is this tx-fee based rather than a typical POS style?

I think we have to wait a bit for 14K sato. But 9K sato seems to be realistic option for short term.
It all depends on what Bitcoin gets up to. XEM actually reach a dollar ATH just a few days ago of about 31c but I saw no mention of it here at all. It was about 8700 satoshis. new dollar ATH is likely these days. But I think we have to wait for the alt cycle to reak new ATH compared to BTC. Still like the steady and slow growth more |

I think it will still be a TenX type of solution. But my money is on IOTA. If only the transfers would be instant and 100% working. Otherwise, a less decentralised but 100% speed and foolproof system should have become in vogue (a bitUSD from the BitShares platform/Byteball?). TenX would be my bet too. I donīt think Iota would be capable for this. |

Great article and great words, nice to be compared to several of those other coins. And to others (from the outside world like myself) want to try XtraBytes out, drop in the slack and download the wallet. Super easy and nice to see actual tech being developed. Can some explain me in understandable words what the main advantage of Catapult is? I understood it is a core which connects the private blockchain of Mijin (which can process a huge amount of txs per second) with the public blockchain of NEM (which can process low amount of txs per second). But why should - let's say a company which is interested in blockchain tech - use this approch instead of directly license Mijin from Tech Bureau. I have not really gotten it yet. Here is the graphic I saw on a blog and which is the base of my quetstion.  Thanks in advance! The fiat pegging planned by COMSA is a great example. Fiat pegging requires a central authority since you must trust somebody is holding the fiat reserves backing the tokens issued. There's no way around this. COMSA will use a Mijin private block chain for this which allows them the flexibly and performance required. They will then link this private chain to the public NEM block chain for transparency and auditing purposes. This system will create a "semi-immutable" blockchain that allows them to make modifications when necessary but also makes it hard to commit fraud because of the "checkpoints" linked to the immutable NEM block chain. Using the same architecture for both public and private chains will make developing this system much much easier than other options. They will do the same thing for cross chain transactions with other blockchains like BTC and ETC. really good explanation! |

You do not get anything for holding you have to forecast with your Wings, You won't lose anything if your forecast is incorrect or is way far off, You simply will get less rewards. any upcoming new projects to forecast?
