NOW lets get on to the IMPORTANT PART
I tried a million different ways to get into my account for most of the day the other day, and I couldn't get in. Today, I got in no problem using the exact password it was supposed to be and I was trying all along. You can all think I'm crazy, and I'm sure you will. But when you try the same password a bunch of times and it doesn't work, and then it works, something changed.
It wasn't one of the variations of the password that got me in. It was the one that I thought it was all along.
The Problem is fixed now
I'm sure a bunch of you idiots who think you are a genius are gonna think I just magically came out of my coma and poof, I remembered the right way, no! I had it written down. (and no I don't trust any program to save all my passwords)
I want to thank TwinWinnerD for his help as being the escrow as I dont trust this coin anymore. I think you would feel the same way if this happened to you and they just let you look like some dumbass who couldn't figure out how to type in 30+ digits into a keyboard. I write them all down, on paper, I believe to be the smartest way. I've never had a problem. It works very well. I have them all in a special box. Simple as it gets.
I really wish this community would have been a little more supportive but I guess it's hard to just believe one person, so I understand. It's not your fault really. Thanks anyway, I'm just glad it was finally fixed!!

I know how to use a password. I don't have issues with my passwords!! I know the difference between a lower case and upper case. Explain how the DEVELOPMENT people predicted this. It happened to them. They don't know how to use a password. Come on man!! |

How could some passwords change and most passwords don't?
People, use proper software: like keepass 2. Never will there be a "copy paste" error, like with textpad.

Which staff member did you mention this to? The issue seems to have affected several so far. edit: it was changed for me. That being said, everyone should check their IDs ASAP to ensure they're the same on the newest servers. Would be unfortunate if they had to restart distribution all over again.

I messaged koop4u initially and he replied with a fast response and fixed the issue. But everyone must check in case you cannot remember your password or if the ID number has completely changed. This is probably the most pressing issue at the current time for this project. But great design, intuitiveness and very much liking the project so far. Core security features will be a great addition. This should be definitely be in the topic title because this is a important issue for the project at the current time.

Sorry to hear that! The input is case and space sensitive! If you copy/pasted the password from a text file there is a chance that you copied by accident an extra space, either at the end or beginning of the passphrase! Try different combinations! It doesnt matter if I add 1 or 2 spaces before or after the password I still get 12336957661887674448. You said others had this problem, did you figure it out yet? You said to let you know if we got an account other than what was on the list. What am I supposed to do?

The password ID thing was an obscure glitch. It only happened to 4 stakeholders out of nearly 1000, unless it happened to way more people and they haven't realized it yet.
is not a glitch in my opinion .. only smart people wanting more stakes ... Same god damn thing is happing to me. I put in my password and I get a different account. Whats the deal man? I get some random acct when I put in my password!!!!! |
