1082  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sending Money From a Debit Card to a Bitcoin Address on: September 02, 2023, 07:49:42 PM
Op what do you mean by not creating a Bitcoin wallet, well I can explain what are you trying to say if you don't, As per your question it seems like you want to send money from the Card to a Bitcoin address, Do you want to pay someone in the Bitcoin for that also you need the Bitcoin firstly in your own wallet. So this is not how it works as you are thinking you need to Buy BTC first from the card as well you can buy BTC some Decentralized wallets allow direct crypto buying with VISA cards.

So why do you need the Bitcoin wallet first in the Bitcoin network, there are two addresses is public and one is private in simple words. Private is the key to open and accessing the funds in the wallet public to share and receive payment on the network. Even if you want to send Bitcoins to someone you need to own the Bitcoin first in your wallet. In a few and simple words that's it.

1083  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Token launch on: September 02, 2023, 03:03:49 PM
The Firepot $HOTT presale is an exclusive opportunity available to diverse group of early supporters, affording them the privilege of acquiring $HOTT tokens at this nascent stage of development. The presale will consist of four rounds of booster sales and be conducted on the Arbitrum chain.

Hmm, Heared about this projection from the Waitlist telegram groups and also some Airdrop probability groups. I haven't studied the project but cant understand why are you posting this here, are you from any team members or some kind of promoter? Advisor, please mention your role.

Why posting like this? nobody is going to take it seriously as you haven't provided any social media link or the source link to the project, I haven't clarified about the project or goal as well. If you really want people to go through your post provide some useful information. In general, outcome think most of us don't belive in Pre-Sales.  Cheesy Cheesy LEts see what others say about it.

I was reading some topics after this post and you know what I have found a great example to elaborate more on how important and meaningful your post is OP: Prime Trust's bankruptcy due to forgotten seed/private key. This thread says some companies lost millions of users' assets just because they lost track of their seed phrase or recovery key. I mean what better could be a better example than this to understand how important it becomes to secure your assets on your own? No doubt this might be an exit plan from that company but to emphasize the importance we can assume if we do not take full care and will not follow the norms that we should follow then what outcomes we might have to see?

Giving your assets to companies like these is wrong in the first place as you will own the coin only when you will own the key if you lose the key then you also lost the funds too. So keep track of your key and seed phrase and try to increase security by 2FA too.

They were holding these assets in a Hardware wallet and lost the recovery key Well if they have a ledger then they might recover it otherwise they can not.
1086  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC on: September 01, 2023, 08:29:29 PM
Good morning is there a site where you can sell your bitcoins with individuals without going through the exchange

I am inquisitive about such Websites because I think it going to be a clean sweep or I should say perfect scam Haha just a pre-warning P2P services can be trusted as I do use them by myself as well but there are some of legitimate and some are scam so you need to be extra careful... Anyway, moving to the point buddy there are a lot the P2P services for that and a lot of scams as well. The newbies prefer the P2P services via exchanges like Binance OKX etc. as for those who don't worry a lot about KYC, for KYC-sensitive users There are a lot of P2P services Bisq, localcoinswap etc etc.

You have to ensure the legitimacy of the platform/service before using There is a wide range of services you just need to choose whatever suits you better.
1087  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [JUST IN] Chinese court news said Cryptocurrencies are considered legal property on: September 01, 2023, 07:54:46 PM
What Fantastic News For Cryptocurrency lovers, Chinese court news said Cryptocurrencies are considered legal property and are protected by China law. I think gradually most countries will understand that cryptocurrency is the Future. Chaina is a big country and Their contribution is huge in the crypto industry. So obviously a big impact will happen for this Fantastic News i think. Good news coming gradually so i also think the Bullish market is coming.

Since China considered Crypto as legal Property many other countries will also consider it gradually i think.

Source link- https://twitter.com/justinsuntron/status/1697544578319204437?s=20

There are two things that we should understand, One is crypto is not unbanned in China instead the crypto owned by people in China which might be from old times or from the times when it was legal there, has become legal means they have become legal property. So to my knowledge, it indicates they have to pay taxes and other stuff too while withdrawing and depositing them. But what I do not think is there is no other country like China that has banned the crypto and if they unban it then it will make a mass impact on the price of BTC. Instead, there is no such other country from which we need such good news.

In the first place, I do not consider it bullish news means this is not some bullish news to increase the price of BTC. Instead, this might be information that we do not know before but now we know about it. And for the people of China, it might not be new.

But still, there is a lot of confusion, to be honest, I have no words to clarify it instead one thing I can say is this news is not a bullish one.

Bitcoin in September 2023: What Can We Expect?

Assalamalikum to all my dear community,
Famous crypto analyst Rekt Capital ne September 2023 ke liye Bitcoin ke potential raaste ka andaza diya hai. Grayscale ke SEC ke khilaaf adalati jeet ke baad $28,000 ke upar choti si tezi ke baad Bitcoin ab $26,000 ke aas-paas stable ho gaya hai qkh ke SEC ne Bitcoin spot ETF faislay ko 45 din ke liye taal diya. Rekt Capital ke mutabiq Bitcoin shayad $27,150 ke aas-paas phir se utar sakta hai lekin yeh hosakta hai ke woh naye resistance ke roop mein aaye, phir shayad $23,000 tak girr skati han

Dear OP I have been here for almost 3 years, and I am this old to know about this encyclopaedia thread, which is just full of all kinds of useful links that, if I started reading, I would for sure ecome a  pro, but of course not in one day. But still, I do not have words to express my thanks.

This will be of great help in the future, and I will try to read these threads. I will also try my best to include some useful topics in the lists if Ratimov will accept them, but of course those will be unique compared to the ones in the encyclopedia.

Hmm, I think he recently did a bump to this great idea, I was going through the list and found a lot of new topics which I think I need to take a look at. At the same time realized I also had some decent topics to be shared there, so thanks for a good reminder. But before sharing my topic I had to suffer from the image readjustment as most of the links are expired.

For the rest, I do remember that a few days a junior here was asking about the best way to learn from this forum and I recommended he ask for useful topics from your local seniors seems like now he doesn't need to ask anyone if he really wants to learn. For the different slogans on the user's responsibilities with the funds, I think that should be from the initial learnings from a user to stay safe in this market space.
1090  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you expect better, but then impulsively jump into things due to FOMO? on: September 01, 2023, 06:47:08 PM
Hey all, I am new here: I've been reading a lot, and not posting much at first. You have a great place to learn at BCT. When trading crypto do you expect better, from yourself, but then impulsively jump into things due to FOMO? Has anyone reading this ever found a cure? How do you permanently change and naturally be patient? Thanks all.

Haha as a crypto Doctor OP, I want to recommend you to use more fresh water which will keep your Blood more rich with the hydro neutriants. Do daily 2 miles of walking daily in the early morning to have greater control over your Emotions (Kiding). Haha buddy there is nothing extraordinary needed to control your emotions you need to try to learn to be consistent with the market.

In order to increase your performance with the emotions in the market you need to follow two golden rules, one is never rush with Twitter and other crypto news because this is where most of the traders lose their patience, first of all, verify news even most of the time Cointelegraph and coindesk news are just piece of shit so how can you trust the celebrity you are following.

The second rule just follows the market principle to perform better, "Be fearful when everyone is greedy and be greedy when everyone is fearful."
1091  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BUSD users will be able to convert Busd to other stablecoins until February 2024 on: September 01, 2023, 01:58:32 PM
Hmm Yeah Op, well that was sad news because I really defended BUSD as one of the more preferred stable coins in my view because of their reputation in the market and I used to say it's Binance you should know what it meant when this term is used in this crypto world. So a Newbies posted a topic for the stablecoins and his leanings after posting another thread. On that thread, I made a very promising post for the BUSD but what a coincidence after the day passed the very next day Binance made this announcement and I was like what? Haha, why Binance is this is what you give to the BUSD supporters?

Most of the fellows already gave a warm welcome to you so not being redundant I would like to say that if you are really interested in learning you need to struggle here because now most of the topics created in the section whether it's about the Bitcoin Discussion or the Trading or altcoin you will find the topics and questions asked by the Newbies if there is a question then you can find some useful insights by reading the feedbacks o the senior members.

I would say that if you want to learn in a better mode you should have to ask seniors, on your local board about the best topics created by the old members.. They can give you references to those threads and after reading a useful thread you can judge the topic by 100 views because there will so many comments on the thread and opinions by different users, This is what I like most about the forum. Its time taking but more efficient. In other way you can ask for the topics after getting engaged with he discussion on any thread, most of the times if senior finds the repitive topic they give the other references as well.

Enjoy you journey.
1094  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Irrefutable evidence that mixers alone are unsuitable for money laundering! on: August 31, 2023, 08:27:32 PM
Most of the business which are in money laundering are no longer using these Mixers. They have much better options to use rather using Bitcoin. They can simply buy XMR (Monero) and use that as it's a private blockchain. No transaction can be tracked. And then you can even use Monero to then get it converted into real fiat money. And yes, that's true. Mixers alone are no longer suitable for money laundering.

I had a few time debates with the mixers and their dark use case but ended up with a person who really wants to under money has the best option to use the cash, where tracking of the funds becomes near to impossible as there is no digital record. In the counter question for the few times with Bitcoin a source of money laundering I had so conversation on why Bitcoin can be a dark dream to the money lenders. In some reported cases the media used mixers money laundering was done and there was a lot of evidence as well but I did ignored them on some level.

I was totally unaware of the XMR (Monero), seems like as sir you have said there can be potential money laundering usecase why they designed their blockchain on that scale, I had heard about Stealth Addresses and Kovri features on the XMR but I did never studied them. What can be their primary purpose to design a private blokchain, with such privacy, obviously a person with white money who just need privacy wont use it as he don't need to hide his assetson that scale because his motive can be to just not get extra attention on his funds.
1095  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WEIRD BITCOIN CONVERSATIONS AT GATHERINGS - SHARE THE CRAZIEST STATEMENTS MADE on: August 31, 2023, 01:32:24 PM
After spending hours watching the market, making trades, and building up your Bitcoin, you might want to hang out with friends or go to gatherings. While some of them know about your activities, others might not. You might have had conversations or something might come up about Bitcoin.
Did any crazy things come up during these talks?
Did someone say investing in Bitcoin is silly?
I'm sure a lot of you have interesting stories to share. Tell us about your experiences!

It is not so frequent that I hear most of the statements on Bitcoin because in my locality most people are still unaware of this gem, they don't even know about its existence. It's sad to say but this is also a countable fact, more or a few times I heard the crazy statement about bTC while having a conversation with my classmates a few years ago and sometimes while explaining my interests in the market.

"BTC is another pozi bussnies" That was hurting haha because he put forward his view on it with strong points and for a moment I thought yeah this is how it works. At the time I did ignore all other aspects of Bitcoin except for the market value.

"It is Haram  Grin because of one reason it doesn't have intrinsic value" Haha using a religious point while I was explaining Bitcoin and how the market works with Bitcoin to a friend he frequently attacked and said it haram due to this reason and count this count that.... after taking a long breath I was like this is what was waiting for haha, then with my explanation I did prove the fiat money (Our local currency) is Haram because it doesn't have the intrinsic value, but Bitcoin does have it. The utility in the Blocks a transaction fee. Thats it after a debate it ended up with a win on my side and now I'm waiting for a person to place a statement on the Environmental effect haha because I had encountered it a long time ago and at that time I was not prepared.
1096  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin the powerhouse of cryptocurrency on: August 31, 2023, 01:18:29 PM
Bitcoin is more than just a cryptocurrency. It embodies a groundbreaking shift towards a decentralized financial landscape. An important fact to also note is that Bitcoin's scarcity is fundamental to its value proposition. It makes sure that it remains immune to arbitrary inflation.

Hmm, interesting.. DeFi world with BTC can have boundless opportunities, for now I would like to comment on the inflation with BTC, as you have used the arbitrary it seems like you already knew something about the time inflation with Bitcoin. Bitcoin does provide a hedge against inflation but BTC is not anti anti-inflation solution because Bitcoin inflates.

The fundamental aspects of Bitcoin are strong enough that we can say the only reason the crypto market is still standing over and over again after so many crises. "Bitcoin is the powerhouse of cryptocurrency" can be taken into account because Bitcoin is the reason we have explored this dimension to this level that is now near in future it will be the most used technology. I do support a few altcoin projects but I think except for a few most them are shady bussniess.
1097  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I see something about markets today on: August 31, 2023, 01:07:32 PM
You said what you see but another trader's opinion will be different from yours. A few weeks before Grayscale won his ETF case against SEC, BTC which is the green light of other coins was trading around $26k which has been strong support globally sitting above 200MA, anything below that support will crash the market a little bit lower and altcoins will suffer more. Right now, the alts distribution has been static with choppy losses, it's not advisable to long or short the market right now. It's good to be observant sometimes than chasing profit that might lead to a big loss.

Well, there's a point in your note but as if there are pro traders they usually try their luck in such sort of markets as you know there is a strong support level and any good news can bring the market in the flow as we saw in last days they long / short based on the situations and sentiments with a  tight stop loss and leave it to the luck they suffer a bit maximum of times their stop loss save them and if they don't suffer then they make 100% of their position sometimes.

But I wonder why we are discussing this because the OP doesn't seem to be serious he has posted a few topics redundantly, referring as he is giving some sort of signal. I'm not saying signals are not allowed but I think this post's quality should not be appreciated.
1098  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: hmmm fishy on: August 31, 2023, 01:01:32 PM

Not fishy at all because sometimes they just adjust the funds from one wallet to another If there is fresh buying then it has some other explanations as well, in my view the point that OP is trying to refer to has around 1% to 5% chances to be true.

Movement never effects the the price and as far as its not affecting the market nothing to worry but this amount can be enough to put a greater pressure in the current timeline  Grin Grin.

1100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Machine Learning and Bitcoin on: August 30, 2023, 08:57:04 PM
I have been recently taking some courses on the area of machine learning and artificial neural networks. This sparked some thoughts in my head about how this new advancing field of machine learning / AI relates to the cryptocurrency field. It's no secret that both these domains have been making waves individually, but what happens when they come together?

Does the advancement of ML and AI help with the growth of Bitcoin as a currency, or does it hinder the growth?

In terms of growth as in capitalism or do you mean by the advancement tin the network, for capitalism I think the would be NO, as AI cant bring fiat and have any sort of way to bring more capital to Bitcoin. In term of network modification in future there might be the possibilities but I thnk it will start a new debate as well.

In terms of predictive analytics, I'm sure AI has been tried and tested to predict stock prices & etc, and failed. I'm assuming it would be the same with Bitcoin.

Descriptive analysis or predictive Ai can be helpful if you have better control of it because the Ai support we currently own not efficient enough and its not still capable to provide any sort of decision making power in most of cases.

In terms of anonymity within the Bitcoin blockchain, Machine learning can be used to track down transactions for fraudulent services and possibly help control the illegal activities transacted through bitcoin?

What are your thoughts on the growth of these "technologies" ?

I can say your motto is good as tracking down the fraudulent transaction and things like that but they can have other consequences as well so it is also a log debating topic.
