1081  Economy / Economics / Re: Wealthy people want profit without much of liabilities so you should follow them on: December 27, 2023, 02:20:22 PM
Just as Earn on Victor said, it's not the abilities of the status quo rich people to make more profit but the capability. If we start analyzing critically, these people do not have more intelligence than the status quo, but they only have an admirable opportunity that we all wish to have. Most inherited capacity from ancestors, so does that show they are better than others? No, they only got privileges to do more.

Back to the discussion, I don't see much to learn from status quo rich people because they don't have the gods to take action, if not from the hands of a behind-the-scenes team that tries to put them together.

This set of people invests in things that status quo poor or middle-class citizens invest in, but what makes the difference is the high ratio of return as a result of high capacity, so if calculated properly, it is not that they like to invest in less liability, but they seem to have reduced these taxes because of their status.

But one thing for sure people especially the real estate and even CAR owners will be burdened with a lot taxes and liabilities by the goverments around the world.
I can tell you for free that this is biased based on your location. Most of the assets you categorized as liabilities can be the very best investment you have made, like I said, based on your location.
Most times, from my location, people who even invested in real estate and cars are way more successful than those who invested in other things. If you have business and it's facilitated by movement, then cars will be the best investment so far because they will reduce the cost of your spending (taxation) rather than increase it. etc I wouldn't like to argue much, but this is just the tip of the iceberg as an example.

That's why i stay out of trouble by not almost owning nothing or any liabilities on my name as possible.
Lol, you know you have only one life to live, right? By owning nothing, you're just hurting yourself by trying to pose it as an avoidance of taxation. If you have the money to buy something, then get it for yourself. Stop stressing your entire life trying to impress yourself with a lack of proper care.
Even the status quo rich (wealthy) people you admire to be like have so-called liabilities in their possessions.
1082  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you choose, arrange and create your portfolio of altcoins on: December 27, 2023, 01:12:39 PM
For me, I don't really know what you mean by the right track, but if you feel you're doing something good, then it is what it is. From what you have chosen, I just hope you don't lose all, but with the way you arrange them I also believe that at least out of 5, 2 should go as planned in each category, but if it goes sideways, you should be responsible for your actions, right?

Like someone mentioned here, just try and do some good research on each of the alts to be a little bit hopeful. Also, be guided by the wallet you might choose to store them in, and I hope you make a good profit as an investor.
1083  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Post wey dey delete can it be recover from the system on: December 27, 2023, 12:42:01 PM
I believe say most of us don dey aware of this rule but yet we dey make mistake either because of our greed or something else but I know say na because we want too much na why people dey make this mistakes.

Like applying for one campaign with different account or getting plenty alt and all of them dey campaign. now because say them go wam meet up them go just misplace the wallet address or even misplace post wey supposed go for major account for the alt.

According to weytin one senior colleague tell me for general board be say make I no get alt make I just focus build one account to legendary then dey earn from that one because the money wey I go get for that one go still be the same thing with multiple accounts.

If possible to get two different devices for each account that one go limit you from such mistake and is better too. anyways I go just advise say make we dey more careful though we no it dey careful finish oo but make we try to our possible best because the ninajastic space no be ply play tracker oo e dey even connect ip address but that one dey ban for person to access your IP address but me I know say the source code get back door because me I get technically knowledge small. na why if them dey use am track your alt them dey very sure of weytin them dey talk.

Best regards

1084  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any fun in losing while gambling on: December 27, 2023, 09:33:48 AM
From the on set, I never saw gambling as fun until someone got to explain to me what really makes gambling fun. It's just like playing your favorite sports or games in real life, but the difference is that you stake money in order to make more money, and you play these games because you just want to play and have fun; hence, you gamble and have fun at the same time. But when you're losing this gamble, it will no longer be fun because you are losing. Just playing without staking is fun; staking and winning is fun, but when you begin to lose, the fun is no longer there because you feel some anxiety to get what you've lost, where gambling is no longer fun.

Though there is this illusion that has been created in this gambling section that gambling as a whole is fun, it is only fun when you are winning, so if you aren't winning, then it's no fun.
1085  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is binance doing a any giveaway? on: December 27, 2023, 07:10:58 AM
I tried looking at Binance to find out if it's official information from the Binance team, but it looks different from the red pocket giveaway that I saw online. But surely Binance does some kind of giveaway that is counting down in the let's down four days I saw on the Binance web page.
Looking at the layout of the image you uploaded, It might be a phishing site that is trying to use Binance users as the catch. As you have been advised, you just better stay away from those giveaways that might end up sending your sensitive information to fake sites.
1086  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many hours is the best time for a gambler to last while gambling? on: December 27, 2023, 12:29:19 AM
Well, as much as gambling is fun, I will gamble as long as I feel like it.

The two options you mentioned are included in my decision on gambling, along with even more other methods that I use for gambling. Like you said, some will say that as long as they are satisfied, yeah, some times we gamble to some extent that we get satisfied with the result, hence we quit gambling for that day.
While sometimes I gamble for a specific period until my set-out capital for gambling is exhausted, if a profit has been made, I just take that profit and go off. But if there is no profit, then I simply leave the same way.

I can remember a day I was playing this crash casino game on BC Games with my friend at home. We played this game for so long that we both forgot that while actually using money to gamble, we spent literally almost 5 hours, if I am correct, while playing. This is how we did it: if I play and the plane crashes, I will hand it over to my friend; if his too gets crashed, I will play next, but if any of us get it right, then that person will play until it gets crashed too. How fun it was that day! lol. Though we lost most times, we ended up getting enough profit that we used to enjoy ourselves in the evening.

So why I said this above is because sometimes it can be so fun that you will keep doing it without getting tired, except if you are gambling on sports bets that it might cause you anxiety and hence lead to tiredness.

Personally, I don't have time for gambling; either the capital is exhausted, I'm satisfied with the result, or I have lost enough, etc., before I can quit for the day.
1087  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When (if Tenable) is The Right Time to Share Your Bitcoin Private Keys? on: December 26, 2023, 09:37:02 PM
When I received a notification of this topic on the Tryninja notification bot, I had a feeling that this forum must have witnessed a question like this in the past, but for a newbie like me, it's the first time. I have thought of this before, and I think I have put this case in place already.

The day I saw the post of one of our deceased, I thought of making proper arrangements for my life. Even though I'm still very young, I still have to be cautious, though planning for death is more like insane. But we must all acknowledge the fact that we are all going to die some day, even if it's not today.

I have told my closest family member of my little investment that I have somewhere, but I have never told her the exact thing because I don't have enough bitcoin yet, so I don't have to worry myself now, but as soon as I get a hardware wallet, I will have to disclose the private key to her. That's my plan for now, but this might change in the future.
1088  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin - Contentment / Addiction on: December 26, 2023, 07:47:57 PM
Humans are not content with what they have, so wanting more is normal, but the question is, how much more will you keep wanting? Is it till eternity? And what do you intend to do with all the accumulation?. As Upgrade00 has said, it's based on personal views. I can want a stash of 50 BTC, and you want a 1k stash. Just as it's said in my home, "Every mallam has his own kettle," it all depends on you, bro.

Calling wanting more addiction doesn't seem proper to me because humans are naturally made to want more. If not all, the billionaires should have stopped making money and enjoyed the ones they already made, so the phrase wanting more is just normal.

I will only suggest that you should hold what you want and be comfortable with.
1089  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have You Accomplished What Brought You to Bitcoin? on: December 26, 2023, 07:23:39 PM
I guess I have answered this question in so many ways.

Well, like I have said before in my other posts, what brought me into Bitcoin was the quest to have a side job and/or earn while studying in college, but I suppose that narrative has changed due to the knowledge I have acquired here in the forum.

At least I'm no longer looking for something to do right now because I'm busy here already and training myself very well on what I know so that I can establish a service here in the forum that can fetch me some little earnings while I'm in college. Although I am still very young, if not the youngest in the forum... Lol  Cool and more goals have been set since I got here, so I'm not sure I have accomplished anything yet.

1091  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ordinance (ORDI) a good altcoin to invest? on: December 26, 2023, 01:22:20 PM
Well, with the increase in price, I think it would have been good to invest in it for whatever you can afford to lose just for trying sake if your luck would shine. But if anyone should think of long-term investing now that the price is up to 70ish, then it is on him or her.

Even from the look of things, if the X account is investigated, it will sure fall into the hands of one of those pump and dump groups that create tokens for their selfish reasons. "ORDI token has no utility." This combination of words is my red flag for that project. I think the creators of this token just used a slight opportunity to attach it to Bitcoin in order to get hype. Well, it's bull season approaching so fast that everyone should be aware of new developments like this taking place.

Whatever we choose to do with this token, we should be very careful, that's all.
1092  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Does being in the opposition even solve the problem of the country by 1% on: December 25, 2023, 04:59:03 PM
In my opinion, he isn't trying to be relevant but just wants to keep his passion active until he gets another chance.

Politics in Nigeria is very different from the majority views; games are played for the people to see the leadership active, while shadow parties are the main events. Don't get me wrong. Mr. peter Obi probably forgot one thing, which is that to be part of the system, you have to get your hands dirty. You have to be in the mist of your opponent to defeat them. I guess that's what he's trying to do now.

The role he should have played was to join them from the beginning. instead of it looking like the famous quote that says, ""If you can't beat them, join them." Now he's going to look like a rebel to his supporters, but for someone like me, I know he's doing his best for us and himself.
1093  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Post Your Favorite Altcoin Post of 2023! on: December 25, 2023, 02:02:30 PM
This thread Time to be cautious: Everyone is not market expert by Kontrolla has the best part of me this year; on the 6th night of December 2023, I was watching some YouTube videos, and because I have been searching for crypto-related videos, YouTube usually suggests new ones. Hence, these videos are all advertisements for altcoins (shitcoins) that are very attractive, and I was convinced to start looking for these shitcoins to invest in, but the next day I was going through this section to see if those shitcoins were talked about here, but most of these coins were scams, pump and dump group coins.

So after reading the title of the above thread, I went ahead to read the content, and it was just a warning to me, which saved me from getting myself into shit. I really appreciate the author; it's worth it. Thanks to Kontrolla, he just saved my ass unknowingly.

I have just visited it again and I see you have merited him too... Thanks to you too tk808.

-Much love-
1094  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Could newbie ask their unsolved crypto related questions ? on: December 25, 2023, 11:47:18 AM
The word FOMO means Fear Of Missing Out:  The feeling when you see a huge green dildo on a chart and you don’t own that coin, so you sell other shit to buy into it freaking out. As crypto trading is still very much driven by emotions rather than valuation, FOMO is a huge factor to consider when swing trading in crypto.

I know it sucks try to understand the forum from reading those suggested topics everyday, I have been going through such stress too but the truth is there is no way apart from that. I will still suggest you read the following threads to have more knowledge of forum terminologies

Note: This list was provided by Ratimov now called Symmetrick

1095  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Innovation in online gambling on: December 24, 2023, 11:45:41 PM
So what has been your experiences with gambling recently? Have you seen any games that impressed you?
For me personally I really liked the provably fair blackjack at Stake. I wish there would be more single player card games that are also provably fair.
Well, I have been seeing some new games around my favorite online casino, SportyBet, but I haven't really clicked on any of them because, even from the graphics or look of the images, they are not interesting to me. Maybe that is because I have been enjoying a few games lately. Aviator, Plunko, and I can't really remember the last one, but it was about bottle crashing or something, but I did enjoy it too. I have been gambling on BC games too, but not as frequently as SportyBet.

there's also "The Aviator" but obviously, it's still a crash game but becomes popular due to the addition of the plane.
Yes, this aviator has become more popular recently, and I have been on it for a long time. Its popularity in my school environment is what amazes me. Almost all the boys in the hostel play this game every day, and it is so fun that we don't even know if we are gambling or not, but we just keep playing.
1096  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is there so much interest in popular cryptocurrencies? on: December 24, 2023, 11:09:24 PM
After reading through the content of this post, I kind of wonder if this is an advertisement or a normal post that seeks people's attention to know more.
I don't know if it sounds rude, but I will like to ask if you're part of the Cogitex project or if you're being paid to bring people's attention to the project because it's obvious that it's an advertisement.

BTW, let's say people like to be sure of what they are dealing with rather than just jump into a new project. More like, if you want to buy a product of any kind and you know one that has been working and has never had many issues, would you go for a new one that you're not sure of, or would you just buy the one everyone knows? The same is applicable here with cryptocurrencies. People will always rather buy Bitcoin or any other already-standing crypto than gamble with new ones that might be too shitty.
1097  Economy / Economics / Re: Will they ever be able to afford a house? on: December 24, 2023, 04:52:32 PM
So I looked at the sheet, and I saw that the 1980s are better than the 2023s, but I would say the data isn't correct because it seems to be one-sided. Only the disadvantages of the 2023s are in the data, and so too are the advantages of the 1980s.

I will advise you to balance the sheet first.

Mind you, there is a lot of sense in what you're trying to do. Rephrase it, balance the sheet, and let's see what the results are.
1098  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: You only got what you deserve on: December 24, 2023, 04:22:15 PM
If anyone gambles with their money on any shitcoin, it's on them to take responsibility for their action, but your assumption that in the crypto space, what you get is what you deserve is absolutely wrong. Yes, I said so. So does anyone deserve to lose? Does anyone deserve to gain? It all depends on the circumstances. You can lose in Bitcoin too; it's volatile in nature; it goes either way, so don't exaggerate holdings of bitcoin as the only way to profit.

Assuming I bought an alt like SOL at $1 and now it's $100 plus on the coin market cap, does that mean I also deserve to lose because I didn't buy Bitcoin? So look at things critically, both negatively and positively, before you conclude.

I'm not disputing the fact that DCAing into Bitcoin is good, but let's not overexaggerate things.
1099  Other / Off-topic / Re: Good manners and good favour. on: December 24, 2023, 02:24:49 PM
I must say you have a good point here. I don't criticize the little efforts of my fellow beginners, as I see others undermining the fact that they are also newbies, using hash words on people, responding to corrections with bad manners, etc.

One thing I know is that the way you're in reality influences everything about you; hence, it will always show both in the forum and elsewhere. Some people are just rude, naturally, or bad-mannered, if I must say, and this causes a lot of issues (bad reputation) for them. Some are angry people in real life; therefore, they pass this anger on to this forum, attacking everybody for no useful reason.

If you must succeed here, you just have to be real with yourself and stop trying to impress people who are already past your level. If you do your best, the best will come to you. Be yourself and move on; don't depend on people meriting you before you make progress. The quantity of your merit isn't success; it just shows that you did something that was worthy of celebration and warranted your merit.

If I must put something in order, it should be the word favor. I guess in the manner in which you frame the content, it means merit, but favor isn't just merit; there is more to that than merit. For example, if I'm an amateur graphics designer and maybe I have a good reputation here in this forum, someone can just hit me up and hand me a project to do just to test me. If I can deliver, then I'm already favored because if a legendary member or so gives trust and feedback, people will surely start handing their own projects to you; hence, this is also a favor.

There are lots of things we will discuss here, but as time goes on.
1100  Other / Off-topic / Re: Grand Theft Auto 6 is coming on: December 24, 2023, 01:33:21 PM
I'm not a fan of GAMES, but I will definitely try it this time. I heard my hood discussing the new Mad Max: GTA 6, but I didn't give much attention to it because I don't usually understand the game. Though it's not hard to understand, it's a matter of interest.

Let's see how the graphics go this time. Y'all go enjoy the game. I'm behind you... 💯

Not into games, but this one looks sick. They say the graphics are improved as much as they were from GTA V to Red Dead Redemption 2. Definitely going to try it out.
I guess we have something in common here .. lol  Cool
