1083  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if salaries were paid in BTC on: July 27, 2023, 11:18:16 PM
I pressed two buttons, and it cost me 35 cents to complete the transaction within three minutes. There are many individuals with significant financial resources who have grown weary of traditional banks. This is precisely why Bitcoin can be utilized as a means of payment for salaries, as there are numerous people with substantial funds who wish to avoid being involved in the complex systems, whether they are involved in illicit activities or are law-abiding citizens. Unfortunately, banks tend to disapprove of my attempt to transfer my money.

Is there a way to minimize transaction fee?

1087  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / My mind is no longer here. on: July 25, 2023, 11:56:36 AM
"The Englishman would say, 'If you want to hide something from a black man, put it in a book.'

"Let me tell you something nobody else will tell you: hunger is a very good thing. Our people do not know this; that is why they remain poor. The feeling pushes you to do something that you did not imagine you could do before. You are very lucky to be chosen. This thing that Yinka has brought you people for is not for everyone"

Over the past few weeks, I have been spending time reading new books and exploring the internet for valuable insights. I found the book "My Mind Is No Longer Here" to be a very intriguing read. I spend 8 hours a day on the forum and 3 hours reading this book. It has unveiled secrets and untold wisdom. My knowledge has broadened, and I feel it would be nice to share with my fellow brothers. Some of us might have already read it, but regardless, let this thread also serve as a reminder so we won't forget the ethics we have learned from this book.

It is obvious that you have been in this forum before or have had experience one way or the other. You roamed around the forum in just two hours, and you already know a lot about bounties and the other earning opportunities. All I see is someone who wants to rank up and Goodluck with that.

1091  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: The Local Nigerians perception on cryptocurrency and online in General on: July 18, 2023, 09:54:55 PM
Back in the days you have to be educated, become a graduated and get employed before you can earn some kind of amount of money. But it is different now. The so-called yahoo of a thing had made young guys and vibrant youth to earn at a tender age, that is why it's obvious people see any young guy working online as a yahoo guy. Even my parents look at me suspiciously, well am really glad i chose my path as a crypto enthusiast. Most of my friends still look at me and be like guy give me update, even if i tell them i don't do yahoo they will always doubt, and think am lying. Cryptocurrency is a game changer and i see a brighter future for us here.
1092  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Apart from "OP" any other slag every beginner needs to know? on: June 18, 2023, 07:00:56 PM
The last post I found about abbreviations was in the Filipino language back in 2017. I kindly request anyone here to share some slang terms with me as I believe they would be helpful not only to me but also to other newbies.

Anyways, thanks for this thread. I have learned a few more things that I did not know about a few slogans that I see and ignore on the forum because I do not actually know what they mean.

I'm pleased to hear that this thread has been helpful not only to newbies because that was the sole aim but also to more experienced members, even when i am still in the process of learning the platform's rules and understanding certain terminologies. It's great to see the positive impact it has had on various individuals across different ranks here.
1093  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC CHANGED MY LIFE - Crypto investor? on: June 18, 2023, 06:14:36 PM
I understand that you have chosen to share your bitcoin history with us, even though no one asked for it. Well I don't think it's a bad idea, but its confusing when you mention your portfolio without revealing the actual amount, and the story itself lacks inspiration. Please don't misunderstand me; I'm not saying it's wrong to share your story with us, but it would be helpful to provide clearer information or context if you decide to do so.
1094  Other / Beginners & Help / Apart from "OP" any other slag every beginner needs to know? on: June 18, 2023, 11:54:08 AM
Today in the forum, I came across a thread discussing the abbreviation "OP." I was delighted to learn its meaning and felt that there must be more slang terms for newcomers to become familiar with in the forum. The last post I found about abbreviations was in the Filipino language back in 2017. I kindly request anyone here to share some slang terms with me as I believe they would be helpful not only to me but also to other newbies.
